Caribbean Airlines Missing items

Good day, my name is Lesley Ann Williams.I am filing a complaint for missing items from my suitcase. My suitcase was broken into and my items( gift boxes ) was removed. The purpose of these boxes were for Christmas orders for my small business. This have now put me at a disadvantage. I am no unable to fulfill my orders. I am very disappointed that someone would do something like this. This is my 1st time experiencing this with an airline. I will like to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Caribbean Airlines Refund

To: Caribbean airlines refund department.
To whom it may concern
I the undersigned am here by filing a complaint for the unusual long waiting time for my refund.
We booked our flight since May of 2021 and you changed our flight so I don't see we have to wait this long for a refund. I called the customer service and was told 9 months and there's a backlog of refund. That's not my problem and I don't care about that. I have to pay interest on this money on my credit card.
I am prepared to go further to get my money back. It is long enough and if I don't get a response from Caribbean airline, I have no other choice but to seek alternative assistance.

Caribbean Airlines Business class

Re: Caribbean Airlines Flight BW 14 - From John F Kennedy Airport November 15, 2021
I recently travelled to New York from Jamaica on the Business Class, and I am writing this letter to express my utter disappointment in the service meted out me. I have travelled business class on several airlines in the past and this is by far the most horrendous experience, so much that I have had exceedingly far better experiences in economy class in other airlines. A part of me wonders if our treatment was because of our Afro-Caribbean ethnicity, and it is my hope that this was not the case.
The following are my complaints:
Firstly, the ground staff was rude and discourteous, offered no apologies for delays in check-in and boarding and were in general not of the quality to be expected of first class or business class service in any airline.
Secondly, we boarded at the with the remaining economy class and were not given priority boarding. I understand that COVID-19 protocols have changed the order of boarding, but we were the ONLY two ticketed passengers for first class on my return flight. We boarded AFTER people on the 24th row of economy. Even more, when asked about this we were met with extremely rude responses. This is unacceptable on several levels, firstly, we pay more for our tickets, as per your own admission on your website first class gets preferential boarding; furthermore, this was not explained to me nor the traveller accompanying me. Lastly there was no apologies for the behaviour nor was there any explanation. I felt like I "owed" the airline something, rather than being a paying customer. Clearly, there is no additional value to first class when travelling on Caribbean Airlines.
The airplanes need to be better maintained; my seat and equipment were faulty. (i.e. the pull out table was old and not functioning well).
There was no in-flight entertainment at all. Other airlines have either internet access with access to personal screens or through use of the passengers' own devices. This was not offered. The wireless internet that was offered, did not even work.
I unfortunately wasted my money with this airline which could have been used better elsewhere. My experience was so traumatic that I can assure you that I WILL NEVER use this airline again for future travel and I will be exclusively travelling on your competitors namely JETBLUE and BRITISH AIRWAYS whose services far exceed your own at similar prices, and who you need to emulate.
It is my sincerest hope that you will take my feedback into consideration, as a proud Caribbean National I would expect that our airline would reflect the resilience, hospitality and beauty of our islands. At present I am ashamed to say that this is not the case.

Caribbean Airlines Regarding a complaint with Caribbean Airline

To whom it may concern:

I Ramesh Budhu would like to complain regarding my flight BW 527 on November 5, 2021 going to Georgetown Guyana. My flight was supposed to leave at 1:30AM flying to Georgetown Guyana, unfortunately the Air Hostess announce that the plane has a problem, and in the next 1 hour they said they will give an update, the second announcement was still working on the problem, then at 4:00AM the third announcement stating the plane is not flying straight to Georgetown Guyana, it will stop in Trinidad to get fuel, so when the flight arrived in Trinidad at around 8:30AM we sat in the plane until 11:00AM then the plane leave Trinidad to Georgetown Guyana arriving around 12:30PM. Please note we were sitting in the plane for more than 11 hours without any food and drinks, tell me is that fair. In the mean time my taxi was waiting for me at the airport at 7:00AM so he was told the flight was delayed so he went home, then he came back after few hours to pick me up, so I had to pay double fare $15, 000 1st trip and $15, 000 2nd trip totaling $30, 000 Guyana currency. I went to Guyana for 3 days for business but instead I lost Friday all day, so I did not get to do my business, I always fly with Caribbean
Airline for many years you can check your record, I am a loyal customer. Please help me solved this issue, I am very upset right now.

On 22nd October 2021, I endeavoured to board my Caribbean Airlines flight to Guyana. It was at this point at the VC Bird International Airport, Antigua that I was informed that I am required to complete a "Clearance Form" to grant me entry into Trinidad. As a result of this tedious exercise I missed the flight.
I was however re-booked for Sunday 24th October 2021, arriving in Guyana on Monday 25th October 2021.
In an effort to bring foward my return flight after the burial of my departed Dad, on enquiry at the Caribbean Airlines Flight Office in Guyana, I was informed that there is no ticket in the system for me, as such I was required to purchased a new ticket for $570.00 US. I was of the sincere opinion that the cost to make the necessary changes were paid for when the arrangements were finalized in Antigua.
No one should have to deal with the death of a loved one and such unfair treatment just for a flight at the same time. I am therefore requesting a full refund of my ticket and an urgent response in this matter.
I look forward for your prompt response.

Caribbean Airlines A pcp test that was paid for but was never administered.

Good day,

I previously travelled on a Caribbean Airlines flight # [protected] from JFK to Guyana on Sunday October 25th. I was required to pay $85 for a PCR Test The clerk give me a sticker in my passport that indicated that I should pay for a test here or in Guyana a courtesy of Guyana.
What I could not understand is, why would I pay for a test to be administered in another country.

I have attached my receipt for your records.

Caribbean Airlines Refund on our tickets

we had our flight cancelled by Caribbean Air back on March 25th 2021 by the airline. we were told we would receive our refund within 3-6 months as of today nothing has been refunded. I have dates of the numerous times I have called, and have received all sorts of different responses from the customer service department, needless to say I have not had the issue resolved. I am beyond angry at the lack of service received and the numerous excuses for this poor service.

Caribbean Airlines Delayed flight

I am very displeased with the service because my flight was scheduled for October 2, 2021 but it was delayed because of mechanical issues and because of the delay I had to pay to do another Covid test when I already paid with the intentions of traveling on October .
I was placed on a flight October 3 2021 9: 30 pm which set me back because I was to report to work the October 4, and had to call out, which caused me a days pay. I paid for seat 4F and was placed 4F which was very uncomfortable. I want to be compensated for the Covid test i had to repeat because the Airline was at fault for the delay.

Hi good night I bought a ticket for my friend on July 7 for departure from Nassau Bahamas on Dec 17 to Kingston jamaica returning on Jan 7 2022 that's before you all changed to Thursday flights. unfortunately, the email address I entered when buying the ticket was incomplete, and I lost the ticket number I tried calling you guys from August but I was just able to talk to someone a couple of days ago n we always get disconnected, I talked to someone at length today and she could not help me, I called my bank and the payment was made and accepted by the merchant but still no one can find any information for me this is frustrating

My name is Leroy Alphonso Williams I book a flight with Caribbean Airline for October 3, 2021 airline confirmation: 3CBZZC, departure from JFK to kin Jamaica, I was at the airport when I get notification that the flight was canceled which was inconvenient for me to go back a forth, so I would like to know if I can get reimbursement on my ticket. The first I travel with u all I was late for 5 minutes and the plane was right there and they didn't allow me on the flight I have to buy a next ticket... The canceled flight cause me to put off my engagement party and spending extra money for transportation... My number is [protected] contact for further information...

Caribbean Airlines Long delay for return tickets from guyana to trinidad to st lucia

I have submitted a request for a refund in January 2021, received confirmation with a reference number and email to confirm the same, was told not to ring back until at least 5 to 6mths, I choose to ring up in April only to find out my refund was not submitted, it was eventually submitted in April, am still waiting for my refund, getting to speak directly to someone you have to wait a long time to get a response

Caribbean Airlines Conflicting information from cal representatives

Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience with respect to an enquiry i have for an upcoming trip in a few days. I have attached the communication with a rep named Alvin through Messenger, this employee seems to be confused in my opinion or just refused to assist as the least.

I also communicated with another employee through the live chat on the CAL App. unfortunately I was unable to grab the chat from a helpful female employee who directed me to the Sherpa tool for precise info, and it is within that tool the information is conflicting with what Alvin is standing his ground on.

Please have a look into this ASAP and revert to me.

Caribbean Airlines Refund

I have been trying to get a refund for two round-trip tickets from JFK to Montego Bay Jamaica Since November 2020 as detailed below. I provided Caribbean Airlines with all necessary information as well as a death certificate for my wife and my home address that the refund should be sent to. As of today, October 2, 2021; I have still not received a refund.

I contacted Caribbean Airlines about this refund in November of 2020 and I was told a check would be issued in a few weeks. No check has arrived. I am once again requesting a refund for my ticket and my wife's and I am also resending her death certificate attached to this e-mail.

Caribbean Airlines Extra fare

There were three of us returning with Caribbean Air Line on September 25th 2021. We were very
Disappointed when we were charged $300.00 per person to upgrade to business class plus
$40.00 each for each extra luggage. The receptionist at the ticket desk did not explain to us that
we are paying the extra fare for just a little more leg room. When it came to dinner time we were
told that business class dinner was not catered for us. If we were informed about all of this
we would have never upgrade our flight. We always use Caribbean Air Line to go to Guyana,
South America. We were always satisfied. However, this time we were very disappointed.

Caribbean Airlines Refund

Dear Sir Madam,

Good day, I would like to log my complaint about a refund of US $414.40, that was requested on June 26, 2021. Itinerary # [protected], Airline confirmation 344XSP Payment was made for a flight from New York to Kingston date of travel should have been August 21, 2021; travelers were Nickesha Hudson and Avonte Bowers.

The cancellation was done online ticket was purchase on June 25, 2021 and cancelled on June 26, 2021. I was informed that there was no need for me to make contact as all monies would have been refunded. I have not received any such refund to date.

I anticipate a speedy resolve of this matter, thank you.

A quien pueda interesar:Me llamo Esmel Abreu#tlf [protected], Resulta que mi esposa e hija tenían un vuelo de Cuba a Guyana en marzo 2020, 3 días antes de viajar nos cancelan el vuelo devido a que Guyana había cerrado sus fronteras por el Covid 19, espero unos meses para ver si reabren y nada.El 10 de noviembre del 2020 decido solicitar mi reembolso el cual tengo el recibo y en el que dice que mi dinero sería reembolsado en los próximos 90 días, luego de los 90 días e llamado en más de 30 ocasiones y siempre me dicen lo mismo que esta en proceso, que de seguro el próximo mes y nunca a sido asi, así, situación me tiene bien estresado el cual estoy pensando en demandar en las cortes de FL por todos los daños ocasiones mentalmente ya que an jugado conmigo, , me an mentido y también robado .Este próximo 10 de noviembre cumple un año de haber reclamado mi dinero y nunca e recibido ni una llamada para tan siquiera dar una explicación, tengo en mis manos todas las llamadas hechas hacia ustedes la cual fueron más de 30 en todo este tiempo y jamás me an resuelto mi problema solo mentiras.

Caribbean Airlines Lost luggage

Good afternoon, my name is Linda LeBlanc. I traveled on August 7th from JFK flight # BW 153. ETKT [protected], SEQUENCE NO:0064. I transit in Barbados and final destination was Dominica. The flight from JFK was delayed 2 1/2 hours which caused me to miss my connected flight from Barbados to Dominica. I was placed in a hotel overnight and was flu to Dominica the following day which was August 8th. Today is August 15th and has not gotten my clothing. The Agent who handled my Luggage and provided boarding passes is Joseph Giles 3XU2DG 1/19KG Port Of Spain POS BW521 07August 07:30 Bar code # 0 106 BW 860023. Three luggage were checked in and I received 2 pieces and the 3rd piece I have not received.. I have communicated with Sarah Yong and Ralf Jones both managers at the JFK Terminal 4 and none is able to provide information regarding my lost luggage nor address compensation

Caribbean Airlines Still Waiting for refund from January 2021

I have tried to get my refund for 4 tickets to Montego Bay Jamaica - the tickets were cancelled January 2021 with full refund accepted due to covid (Caribbean also change the times of flights and destination). I have called 4 times and each time someone says it will be taken care of 4/6/8 months and another 3 weeks to show up on the credit card? This is unacceptable - I would appreciate this being taken care of.

I have also send complaints via email with no response.
