In February 2022 we used my CareCredit account to charge dental services up front for my husbands dental work. The provider was out of network so services had to be paid up front and in full. Husband started dental work that day. During initial office visit one of the two teeth in the treatment plan work had begun. Upon his follow up visit the provider in the office had changed. A few month later after receiving the implant he needed to return a for crown fitment. At that time provided was different again. Constant change of hands. Once the mold was made for crown. Again issues with tooth crown did not fit, color was off. Tooth was sent back again. 9 months later for a tooth that should have taken 3 months to complete. During that office visit he advised dental office that we were choosing not to follow through with services for the other tooth at that time we were told that we could receive a refund but it had to be reviewed by the accounting department after waiting to see if they will credit my account and finding out that they were unwilling. I opened a dispute with CareCredit. Documentation as well as receipt for services and dental treatment plan was uploaded to my account for review we opened a dispute in the amount of $1245 for work not received for other tooth the dispute department came to a conclusion after reviewing the signed receipt for the total amount of services which was for around $3600 and ruled in the dental offices favor, upon contacting care credit again to find out why dispute was not resolved in my favor. I was told that the dispute was open for the full amount, which is not what I ever asked. I was been told that the dispute could be reopened, so I reopened it in the amount of $1245 once again providing documentation as stated above. Additionally, we provided a new dental treatment plan from an unbiased provider showing that the work has still not been received for that tooth. It is now January 5 and care credit has come back again, ruling in the dental offices favor why on earth do they ask for documentation to plead our case when it is never looked upon and they are going to side with the provider anyway because that is whom they paid the services, so here we are in a new year. My husband still needs the work to his tooth. We still have to come out of pocket and I am still responsible for the balance of $1245 remaining on my CareCredit account that has to be paid in order not to destroy my credit .
