CareCredit payments through the carecredit web portal

I have a fixed payment account and a 6-month deferred interest payment account. When I have made payments in the past I have expected that any amount over the monthly fixed payment would be applied to the deferred interest account. WRONG! CareCredit applies payment allocation however the hell they see fit. Each time I have to call them back after the payment to get it reallocated the way I want it to be applied. And that takes at least 1 payment period to show up in my account. What CareCredit is trying to do is to string me along just long enough that the 6-month deferred interest account is not paid off in time so they can jack me with interest charges. I have called to complain about, I have written letters to complain about this, and they simply don't give a crap. They just reply with excuses. Terrible company, predatory lenders.

CareCredit complaint

I had the insurance on my account. I lost my job in July of 2019. Have been trying to figure out how I could pay the account and called numerous times. Spoke with customer rep. That reminded me of insurance. Tried to file was told that it was canceled in 9/2019. Tried to speak with manager...told could not because my account was past due when in fact, the past due was paid.

CareCredit predatory lending agency for lasik eye surgery

Care Credit is a predatory lending agency. I was sold a 24 MONTH month 0 interest promotion for my LASIK eye surgery. I received NO warning that this promotion was going to end after 12 months. NO NO WARNING at all. I signed up for paperless billing and I notice my balance was not being paid down. I called CARE CREDIT 7seven times and explained and they would do nothing for me. I asked for a copy of my terms and they said it would take three billing cycles. THREE billing cycles, as they gouged me month after month at 36% interest...me with almost an 800 perfect credit score. KARMA is a b@t#H and they will go out of business soon. DO NOT USE this company. They are SCAM artists.

CareCredit stem cell surgery

My complaint is the same as some others of making payments. I called customer service res on all levels to fix the problem and i was told problem fixed and i would get no more service charges tacked on. I am diagnosed with COPD and can't talk on phone. I was told I would be paying monthly payment. All lies with reps and harnessing phone calls. So include me in class action.

CareCredit customer service

I called in today to ask a question that I asked before about my husband's bill. I wanted to know why I had a $0 payment due this month because I logged in to pay and it wouldn't let me pay anything. I was told I needed authorization from my husband who works out of town. He has already authorized me on the account because I called several times before with no issues. The agent kept telling the same thing over and over again, but wouldn't directly answer my question of do I have to get his authorization every time I call in after this because I have only needed his authorization once and they never asked for it again, until now. I asked to speak to a manager and she sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. You won't believe what she told me, she said that every agent who helped me before when I called in were not doing their job correctly because they didn't ask for authorization. Really? So, I told her that they needed to get some training or something because I have called in several times over the years and I have only had 2 agents ask me authorization, the first agent I called when the account was opened and then, several years later, the agent I spoke to today. This account has been opened for at least 3 years and I've had several questions and have spoken to several different agents. I just wanted to give people a heads up about the customer service at this place it is horrible. There's also been instances where I was told I had not paid this bill the month before and I had to make two payments at a time, even though I know I paid it because I keep a list of all my bills, when they are due, when they are paid, and the confirmation number. It is also on my bank statement, but even with all that proof they still tell me I have to make 2 payments; this happened 2-3 times. Just be careful with this company. Hopefully, we can get it paid off soon so we can close this account and be done with it.

CareCredit hidden outrageous interest!

I was told that there wasn't any interest on this and out of nowhere I get a notification that my credit score dropped because they increased my available credit plus hit me with a random charge of 250 dollars and 351 for "deferred interest "! HOW the f is this legal?! This is definitely a form of predatory lending! I have never seen any type of credit card charge such outrageous fees without disclosing or warning you of this ahead of time. I really think they should be shut down for the way they're doing business. This is pretty darn similar to our mortgage lending crisis we went through. Unbelievable!
See attached for my account activity.

CareCredit complaint

I opened a care credit account for some dental work I needed. I made 5 different charges to the account for a total of about 6000$. A year and 2400$ later they slap me with 1, 000$ interest charge and tell me that every transaction is like a seperate account, each accruing its own interest. And that ive only been paying off one of the transactions. After having paid them 2400 I still owe 5400$ on the account where I originally borrowed 6000. Im no math wiz but that math doesnt add up. These people are scam artists

CareCredit my care credit medical loan

My care credit acct was for a medical procedure . I opened the acct. In october 2008. The loan was suppose to be no interest for the ENTIRE DURATION until it was paid off. I ended up paying $1000.00 extra in fees and interest to get them paid off. Each time I called they would state that the fees were removed, but they were not. They were drafting the payment from my checking account but still charging me "late" fees and interest. How can I try to recoup what I paid over?

CareCredit the unprofessional attitude of management after hurricane michael

I have to say I've been a Carecredit customer for over 5 years and out of those five years I've never been late; except for an instance, when I've had death in the family and I call and the Care credit manager waived the late fee due to and I paid my monthly payment and that was two years ago and this time due to Hurricane Michael and now after Hurricane Michael. When I called them before my payment was due and explain that Georgia would be affect by the storm and I wanted to extend my payment so that I could prepare for the storm I was told that my payment could not be extended and I would need to call back and the late fee would be waived. But what they didn't say was you would have to pay the late fee because it would already access and it would have to be removed from your balance. My problem with management was treating me as if I was dumb and I didn't know what I was talking about she was trying to tell me my payment flatulates and even if she remove it my payment has never been the same on any given month and what pissed me off is she was trying to make what they where doing correct and if I was told to call back and it would be remove and I could make my payment that's what should've happen. I don't know how long she's been working there but I know how long I've been dealing with carecredit and they need to send her back to management class on how to deal with people and have a little empathy for others because when you live on a budget your money is accounted for and when a major hurricane comes into play and a creditor tells you the late fee will be waive it should be waived.

CareCredit loan service

Me and my grandmother have had a random 40 dollars to our account. I asked the customer service rep. About this they claimed it was because I was late I asked if I've paid the late fee every time then why would it rise my monthly payment he said I'd have to pay the balance then see if it dropped on my next bill then hung up.. I've asked for a full receipt or a printout for all payments made or evidence of missed payments the stated that they couldn't release such information. Or they'd tell me they'll mail me statements and they just send me a bill with a copy of my last payment.

Care Credit does not care whatsoever about the patients and the doctors don't care so ever also because they are getting automatically paid. So they both do not want to lose any money .

The doctors office which I will not mention the name also dismissed me as a patient because they say they did their best and there's nothing they can do. Now I'm stuck here with the pain and ended up falling and having a concussion because the pain was hitting on my ear. The sad thing is my kids had to tell me about it because I don't remember anything when I fell.

CareCredit fraudulent practices

I had a flexible savings account with my employer. You have to have a receipt before they will release the tax exempt funds from your account. My dentist wanted to be paid on demand. They recommended Care Credit until I received my funds from the account. Stupidly, I did this. I had no idea how crooked they were. As soon as my funds came from the FSA account, I paid the bill. Lo and behold, they sent a statement charging me a $50 late fee. I tried to contact them and asked for a manager. I was unable to locate anyone. I paid this bill one week after receiving the statement. On principle, I did not pay. They sent to collections and $50 was now $300. I still would not pay. This put a blemish on my pristine credit report. It was still there, 12 years later. They are absolutely the worst credit card I have ever seen.

CareCredit care credit mastercard

I had a Care Credit card that I could only use for medical purchases and it was great. The company sent me a new card that was also a MasterCard so that I could "use" it for other purchases. I say "use" because it would never process through. I tried it at my Dr. Office, Dentist and Vet and each time it would never go through and I would have to use another card. I also tried to "use" it for gas and other purchases and the same thing would happen. I opened a ticket and after a month of "research" I was told to have my Dr's and Vet to process it as a regular Care Credit charge rather than a Master Card. So my Vet tried to process a charge again and it would not process and when she followed instructions and called customer care the help she received was sub par, her words. So I called to go back to the regular charge and was told that was not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor and when asked why explained that it made no sense that I couldnt change back to the plain card. At this point the rep got snippy which made me snippy and I ended up cancelling this card and I will not go back to this bank or card.

CareCredit terrible behaviour

I'm surely done with this terrible company that hires unprofessional staff who afford to treat customers the way they want.
Oh god, if your service is related to a financial filed, your staff should be well-trained. It's very serious.
What do I see here? Arrogant, rude and obnoxious people, who forgot who brings money to their company.
I needed some assistance with a very simple issue. And one of your employees talked to me like a was a piece of garbage. A very rude tone, he tried to show how my issue wasn't interesting to him. Ok, but I'm not an entertainer, I called to resolve my issue...
Ugh, he didn't help me at all. He transferred me to another rep, and the last one just hung up on me. I am disappointed.

CareCredit carecredit credit card

So I filled out an application for the card but I forgot to put the amount I needed and so it denied me of course but then I tried again, this time remembering to put down the small amount I needed. They said they couldn't accept my application because I was already denied. WTF? So I tried calling, but guess what? No number to call! Either you call for applying where you'll be met with no human assistance whatsoever, or you call a number for existing card holders that makes you put in your account number(which I obviously don't have) before I can speak with anyone. BS. All I need to say is hey I goofed up my application can you let me send one filled out the right way this time?

CareCredit card security scam

I just had to have emergency surgery 2/10/2016 and I saw a brochure for care credit in my Dr. Office. My surgery was $5, 500, I am currently taking care of my aging parents and decided to go with the 5 year financing they offered me... my bill with interest should run under $70.00 a month for 5 years. I signed up online and went to check out my account to get set up for my first payment. My bill was $160.00 a month for 5 years! $91 /month was added each month for card security...I called immediately 3/16/2017 to cancel this non sense. That would add up to $91 x 60 months! Also...my credit report shows $150 over limit? BE CAREFUL...now I am having complete anxiety as to what this company is capable of and the stresses I will have to endure dealing with such a sneaky company. Reading through the reviews it does not matter when you make your payments or by which method, they will find a reason to charge you fees. The representative (Jonathan from Nebraska) on the phone could not supply me anything in writing that he had canceled card security just a confirmation number and told me I had to make the first payment of $160 and would be refunded in one week but that the card security would be canceled asap 3/16/2017

I would like this cancellation in writing and my payments fixed! I want to see when I go to my account online this has been fixed...I do not have $160.00 to pay this company to avoid a late fee due 3/18/2017 ...why should I have to pay for something that has been canceled? We were mislead when signing up and told this would cost $7.99 month TOTAL...help
Cancellation number given by the company is DD1B8000

I am paying for a Care Credit account that was taken out with both my daughter's and my name on the account. She never looked at the statements, and I did not have access to them till recently.
I have been paying seventy plus dollars a month for this scam insurance. The sad thing is that I am retired and on a limited income. I finally caught this after having access to the account online. I was fit to be tied, called Care Credit, and then Card Security services. Seems like both are in this together. What a Scam. demanded all the money be refunded to me for card security services. Guess this happens a lot. How they tack this onto care credit is beyond me. My daughter did not ask for it, and I did not either. Meanwhile Card security services gets to float your money till it is noticed and the money is refunded. BEWARE PEOPLE

CareCredit error on the part of care credit with regard to the amount owed them.

I stopped receiving a monthly statement sometime ago. I have paid them each month online and keep a record of payments made. As of February 12, 2016, my balance due was $2, 940.00. This, incidentally seems to be the last time I received a statement from them. Also about this time I was issued a new card which I have never used.

I have continued to make payments since that month in the amount of $222.22. Suddenly when I looked at my account on line it says owe $4, 424.00. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I tried to talk to someone on line who was not at all helpful. This is either a terrible error on their part or clearly fraudulent activity.
Frankly, I don't think I will do business with them anymore. I am glad I have a complete record of all payments made to them so that I can prove that I do not owe the amount stated.

CareCredit credit card

I initially got this card when my dog was on the verge of dying. I racked up about 6k in vet bills. I paid about half of it down and then decided to close the account because I wasn't happy with the service and the teaser rate was replaced with a 29% interest rate. Knowing I would never use this card again, I called and asked them to cancel the card entirely. Well after paying more than the minimum for three years, my balance went from $3300.00 to $4800.00 I was floored. I called and asked how this could be? How could I be paying more than the minimum, not using the card in 3 years and have my balance go up 1500.00? Well I was told that I was being charged $100.00 a month in interest. Ok, well what about the rest of the payment of $65.00 isn't that being applied to the principle? No I was told that was being applied to my security protection plan. ? What? I said I canceled this card entirely in 2013! Well Care Credit took it upon themselves to keep the security and the fee that goes along with it active. @#!*#@! So every month I was being charged $176.00 for a canceled card that I was not using. Buyer beware, Care Credit/GE/Synchrony, whatever name these parasites want to hide behind are no good. Very deceptive and predatory practices. So I called to remove the security protection and the customer service rep who was rude (colossal understatement) told me that it would take several pay cycles for that to go into effect. Funny when it was initiated it went into effect immediately, but since your losing revenue, well that's going to take some time. !@*#@! Here is my tip to anyone dealing with these blood sucking leaches. Make sure you cancel the protection plan and go online and pull up a biweekly amortization calculator, plug in the number of years you want to pay off the credit card, the amount and the 29% interest rate and that will tell you the two biweekly payment amounts. I want to be rid of this debt and close the chapter on these financial vipers.

CareCredit billing statements not being mailed to me.

I am CareCredit customer. I stopped receiving statements from them around Spring of this year. Up until August 2014, my payments with them was current until, I had an emergency illness and had to be off from work for six weeks. During that time, I wrote them a letter explaining my situation and not once did they bother contacting me. I called them several months ago to try and set up a payment plan and to have them mail me a statement. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Michael, who was extremely rude and told me that he could not and was not going to be mailing me a statement. Rather than calling them again and hearing the same abuse, I wrote them a letter on November 23, asking for the same information. As of today, I still haven't received my statements in the mail. I would like to set up a payment arrangement if someone could do what I had requested.
