Captain D's food/service

I was on my way out of town to work and decided to stop and grab food for everyone I had ordered a 10 piece fish family meal and a order of funnel cake sticks. The funnel cake sticks were burnt and instead of getting all fish I had got all chicken it was already to late to phone in since I had come right before the store closed at that time I was out of town so I decided I would contact when I came back upon coming back to town Tanya the manager was rude and refused to help me in any form I have worked in food half my life and I know for a fact that's not how customer service is ecspecialy when I have my receipt as well still I hope to hear news back from u all

Captain D's timeliness of service, quality of food.

We have been regular in-house diners at Captain D's #3748 in Tucker, GA. The timeliness of service has been deteriorating for the past few months. On Saturday, 13 July, 2019, we waited for our food for more than 30 minutes. And there were but a few diners when we ordered. The ice machine over the beverage dispenser was tagged "Out of order." The baked potato was neither hot nor fully baked. Though we ordered our meals for dining 'in-house, ' our food was delivered in styrofoam containers without plates. We had not previously seen either of the servers behind the counter. We are inclined to drive a few extra miles to Long John Silvers in the future.

Captain D's service and food

My husband and I have been going here for years to eat on Wednesday for Senior citizens discount. Well, you blew that! Now all you offer are three choices and they are all fried. I always ordered the grill white fish and the free drink is a nice perk. I felt you were honoring us senior citizens, not anymore. The customer service at this location is lousy to say the least. To much employee turnover. It used to be the employees got to know us as regular customers, but now each week you have different people who are walking around like zombies, no personality, whatsoever, not even a smile. The welcoming, personal touch really resonants with me as a customer anywhere I go. We have not been back in weeks and probably will not ever go back. Almost 19.00 for our meal would rather spend slightly more and eat somewhere else where the customer service and food is better. You really need to reevaluate your goals as a business.

Captain D's white fish and shrimp

Ordered 2 white fish and shrimp skewers, through the drive thru. One dinner for my 82 year old father who is autoimmune deficient due to stage 4 cancer and the fish was completely raw! Contacted the general manager to complain. Felt my complaint was not satisfied. I drove 10 miles there 10 miles back to our family business to have food inedible. This is unacceptable and your feed back would be greatly appreciated!

Captain D's payment

on sunday june 30.2019 we went to captains ds for lunch .i pay for my meals with a gift card. it was $10.00 on the gift card .and my total was$11.05 . so i gave the cashier the card . and 20.05 to get the 1.05 out she took the whole $11.00out my 20.00.and didnot tell me until i was seated then i look at my change .i went back to the counter think ing she had gave me the wrong chang. she going to tell me that she payed for it with my 20.00. she was to only get a$1.00 out my 20.00 she can not take split payment on this end.why she did not tell me before i pay her.she know that was not right.i do not know if my money is back on my card. my order #0074 her name destint captain ds 205811 my name is Loran Meeks 108 mitchell st itta bena ms38941 [protected] home phone cell phone [protected] thank you

Captain D's general manager and staff

My name is Maria Selby I'm going to complain and again Frieda Lewis add all the staff members racist it's all my daughter honky a cracker I don't get b**** pipe it up on sexual harassment charges I know it was on Amazon true also threatened you with my daughter's [censored] today her sister her granddaughter was in the store or granddaughter works there and the store is victory Portsmouth Virginia I would like to be contacted I she can just giving it against me tell me I'm a crippled leg I'm a b**** I should take matters and I should have taken matters into my own hands tip calling human resources I tried calling her no kobach I didn't call human resources vaginas name is Jeff I gave him the first complete my daughter gave him the second complaint no call back I tried calling today hang up so again I tried to also find out the owner's name so I can speak to him because my daughter does have PTSD anxiety EDD ADHD and they were just writing my daughter making her feel worthless no good trash so if I can be cold back at [protected] I gave my name is Maria S

Captain D's restaurant...

I went to Captain Ds like I do every so often & when I placed my order I was Not asked if I wanted to add any Shrimp skewers to my order. I pulled up to the window & there was a sign on the window which Said: If we dont offer to add on some shrimp skewers; Which he did NOT, that what I ordered was FREE ! so I asked the two boys that were at the window that i Was Not asked about adding on shrimp skewers & they just Blew It Off & gave me the total of my order ! I thought it was going to be Free because they did NOT ask me about the shrimp skewers but I was Charged the Whole total of 10.63 which I paid & didnt know why I had to !

Captain D's good was terrible... athens tennessee drive thru

I ordered 20 piece shrimp
4 extra Hush puppies
Corn on the cob
Large sweet tea
2 extra pc fish
The shrimp was cold and no flavor ...pups were good...Corn was mush in a stick...Yea was not sweet at all... the fish was watery like it was not done!Telling you...I've ate there 1000s of times and no complaints since I live in Athens...I got home ready to eat and was not pleased AT ALL!

Captain D's Corn on cob

Just returned from my second trip to Captain Ds in Charleston WV on Kanawha Blvd. Monday June 172019. First trip ordered three dinner, one with corn on the cob. Returned home to eat when my husband pulled his corn out, it was a dark brown color and swiveled up like it had been sitting there for 2..3 weeks. It was discussing looking. So after we ate the rest of are meal. I took it back and asked if the would eat that. Reply was no..I'm sorry. I will get you another. They also forgot my crums. No offer of a refund after I had to drive back and forth twice. Which would have compensated some on my gas and time. The corn was not just slightly old ..it was very old. Why should you get a refund. They replaced the corn, you ate the rest of your food. You are not entitled to a refund. Visit a soup kitchen if you cannot afford to feed yourself.

Captain D's both product and service

okay so Sunday we went to have dinner we decided to get it to go because so done in room was crowded and look dirty the floor wasn't mocked or clean in the bathroom did not smell good anyways we go through the drive-through they give us burnt fish and nasty leftover like it been out there for a while and then I call all day and can't get a response still calling and can't get a response today I told them about my order they decided they rude to replace it I sent someone to pick it up last night and it was the same situation the food was burnt it was hard it was nasty and fried okra with soft and Soggy I don't think it's fair that y'all ask so much money then expect us to take whatever scripts you want to give us for food to be at that price it should be extremely good she never ever problem your is expensive is Red Lobster and they would not do this to their customers so I need someone to get back in touch with me and fix this situation you need to send someone to Mount Juliet let them learn how they cook their food and keep their established clean because then you would know how to really get a good store it's the best or there is I've found and I made it a lot of Captain D's all over it is my favorite restaurant but I refuse to continue getting nasty fish and nasty service

Captain D's all you can eat sunday's - customer service was terrible

On 6/9/2019 we visited the Captain D's # 3816 in Aiken, SC for the "All you can eat Sundays". Order # 0108. We hadn't been to Captain D's in some time, so we thought we would try it. When they brought us our meal, the mac n' cheese looked as though it had been sitting out - dried up and the green beans were cold. We filled out the refill ticket for more fish and shrimp as soon as we sat down. The couple behind us was also complaining, their ticket has been picked up and now they were finished, the refills did not come. Several employees were working the dinning floor but never once stopped and got our refill ticket. We spent $23.96 for two dinners, that's a shame for 2 pieces of fish and about 10 popcorn shrimp. We will not be visting Captain D's again. There were more than enough employees working that should be paying more attention to things like this. When we finally asked them about getting refills, we were told that they were stopping that ad. And then we saw them pulling all the phamplets off the tables that advertise that special. What's up with that?

Captain D's fish and shrimp dinner

I ordered crispy fish and shrimp dinner from large board out side; cashier replied 9and some cents after asking sides. I told him I wanted the 4.99 one he said fish and shrimps were 8.99, I backed up and quoted price which was 5.99 cents. He said " you want that one" what's your sides. He charged me 5.99 cents for one tiny piece of fish and 6 shrimps that was the size of little bugs, and 149 cents for one Okra and 1.49 for one corn for a 5.99 meal. The fish was not cooked; when I put malt vinegar on it taste like raw cornmeal, the okra was burned rather taste like it was cooked in burnt grease and so did the hush puppies and he kept asking me if I was the one with the okra and corn. Needless to say I threw it away; all of it it killed my appetite. All of this I feel because I questioned my total and evidently he didn't know what was advertised. Captain D's 3503 Order# 0140.

Captain D's carry out order of 12 piece butterfly shrimp

I went to drive up window ordered my 12 piece butterfly shrimp with 2 sides being corn and slaw... Get to window to pay and order was wrong... So fixed it and proceeded home... Get comfortable to eat and open box and my shrimp was hard, cold and discolored (green)... Take it back and manager on duty tells me she can't give me my money back it has to be sent off to corporate... So she explains "shrimp not old nor the grease is old but shrimp was half frozen when cooked"... I eat shrimp to much to believe this then she keeps my receipt and still doesn't give me my money... States i'll get a check in 2/3 weeks... Very unexceptionable... You just lost a customer and I will tell everyone about this incident... Unhappy customer...

Captain D's megan

We had a four piece chicken meal coupon. Megan would not let us use it for the battered chicken due to "food costs" even though they are the exact same price on the menu. Also while we were there the people who ordered before us, their food order was wrong. The people after us their food was incomplete because they were out of items. Customer said "they were out of everything I wanted" as he sat down. While we were eating another customer came in from drive through stating her order was incorrect. However, Jacob was very helpful at the register despite our frustrations. The only reason we stayed was because of him.

Captain D's product & service. possible stealing

Good Evening;
My name is Mr. George Franklin Williams II and on 6/1/2019 at 03:25pm my roommate and i went to purchase meals from one of your locations at 2845 Greenbrier Pkwy. SW. Atlanta Ga. 30331.

As i was receiving my order i noticed it was not what i had ordered and when i brought it to the attention of the male with an orange work shirt who had originally taken my order that it was wrong. He than seem to get upset and took my original receipt and went to the cash register and what seem to me he had took out money and stapled it to another piece of paper as to show he was returning my money; but had then went to the back and came back one minute later with my correct order. I am a Security Supervisor and i pay close attention to all transactions and my surroundings. You may want to look into this matter for this individual may be stealing from your company. Below is a copy of the order that was left in my bag with date and time if you have surveillance at that location.

Captain D's service

I was the first customer (arriving at 10:30AM)...After paying I was asked to pull forward...I stated "if someone comes in behind me I'll pull forward". The worker said "ok, well it messes up our window timer". So I said. "OK, ...you're not going to forget me are you?". She replied, "no sir, I won't forget you".
After I pulled forward TWO customers (one walk in and one drive through) came and went. I sat there for twelve more minutes. When the worker brought out the food she had a look of contempt and disgust.
#1 What is the purpose of the window timer if employees are just using it as an inconvenience for customers when they ask them to pull forward?
#2 Why did I have to wait in additional time for a standard fish and fries order?
#3 Why/how did two customers get their food before me?

In addition, approximately 2 weeks ago my wife stopped by there and called me after they asked her to pull forward. Approximately 15 minutes went by before we thought this is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait. So, I called the manager (while my wife was still waiting) and I could hear the manager ask her employees why there was a car waiting 15 minutes and they were surprised and admitted they had forgotten. The manager mentioned that she had just gotten there and apologized and then offered a cookie as a way to solve the problem. REALLY?
I let it go but after today I was determined to make corporate aware of this problem.

Still no response from captain d's.

For some reason, complaints board appears to be on the side of bad business practices as this whole thing was a waste of time.

Now, I'm not only through with captain d's but complaints board as well. Neither appears to care at all about customers.

Captain D's food not fresh and cold

I went to Captain D's on a Friday night at 10pm and I ordered my usual, fish tenders, macaroni and cheese and okra. Shortly after pulling up, cashier took my money, then almost immediately after, I received my food. I noticed that was quicker than usual but it never occurred to me I would have bad food. The fish was very hard and macaroni and cheese was ice cold. Very disappointed in my meal. It was so hard to eat I simply threw it away.

Captain D's rude and poor service

I visited captain D's in lake, city Florida and was very displeased. Not only was the staff very rude but the service was unacceptable. The food was cold when we received it and there was no starter sauce at the station where they are kept. I mentioned this to the staff and was reassured some would be brought to the table, which never happened. I will never return to the restaurant and let others know how guests are treated there!

Captain D's deceitful business practices

I came through the drive thru around 2 o'clock today I ordered 2 meals and 1 drink my total was $20.77. While waiting in line I realized I had rewards points for a free dessert or appetizer so when I got to the window I told her and asked if it was too late to apply. She said no ordered the funnel cake sticks and then told me my total was $23.47. I asked if that was with the rewards points she said "oh no I forgot" took my phone and then said again the total of $23.47 I said is that with the funnel cakes discounted and she said "yeah it should be". I paid and received my food with no receipt when I asked she said it was in the bag. My receipt was not in the bag so I asked her again for it. She said she had to get a manger to get it for her so I said I would wait bc I think she charged me for the dessert. I waited for atleast 10 minutes with my food in the car for a manger that never came out and she came back and told me that he said to get my info and he would call me back. I have received no call back and I'm 100% sure I was charged for the dessert that I would've never ordered if I didn't have rewards points for them.

Captain D's dirty store, unprofessioal employees.

Leesburg FL, Capt D's, 11:15 AM May 4th, 2019.
My wife and I drive from Ocala, FL several times a year which is about an hour drive for us. Always good service and clean envirement until today.
Very unusual that only one or two tables had customers' When we opened the front door we almost turned around and left. The smell of the old grease hit us in the face. We ordered the special for 5.99 each and a $2 drink. When it was delivered, the shrimp were some of the smallest I've seen in awhile, but hot and good. Fries could have been warmer but that was okey. As we ate the heavy taste of old grease coated our mouth, the hushpuppies oil went all the way thru. I went to the rest room, the place had only been open about an hour and the large trash can was overfilled, trash on the dirty floors, fixtures and mirrors dirty. Employees were playing in cell phones and loudly with each other. I have been in the business for my whole life. Looks and smells like yesterdays crew didn't empty and strain the fryers last night, if ever nor did anyone clean and wipe down anything. The four people behind us ate a little bit and got up and tossed their food in the trash. We ate most of ours and now are paying for at the restrooms. This is why Long Johns had trouble in Ocala and most locals do not use it. We have just added this Capt. D's to our DO NOT EAT AT list. Management is usually why business' fail.

Our local Captain D's located on Brandt Pike route 201 Dayton Ohio 45424 was closed on Sunday May 12 th with a hand written sign on the entrance and also the drive through window saying it was mother's day and they would reopen at 6 pm. All lights were off and personnel gone. This was at 430 Pm. I do not believe this is your company policy concerning mother's day

We have been very unhappy concerning the way we have been treated at this location especially by a woman named Kathleen. And have complained about her rude behavior repeatedly

There are serious problems here and I am wondering if they are following company procedure at all. Please call me back to discuss any concerns. Jerry. [protected]
