Capitec Bank Loan application

Went to capitec this today to apply for a loan, consultant called Faith (no name badge) told me he cannot process loan app because the company I am working for is not allowed to apply for loans at capitec.Very bizzare, he went on to phone my company before any application was done. As if not enough, he started asking me questions regarding my FNB bank statement which was in overdraft, he said he does not know what an overdraft is. I asked him to call his manager, calls someone called Lebo cleary not his manager. Both the two were very rude, I explained that I have 2 other capitec accounts with them and they didn't even bother to check. Is this how capitec intructs its workers to treat customers from other banks.
After sitting in the bank I finally speak to Millicent the so called branch manager without a name tag, who had cleary made a decision not to review my payslip and bank statements. I literally forced her to go onto the system and search for my company. She says the company was not listed so chances of me getting a loan were very slim and she clearly stated that the company was the issue, then later on changed her tune to say the bank statement and the payslip were the issues. I v never seen such incompetent bunch of workers. I asked the manager what she will do about the issue, she said she will deal with the worker.
Me and my son have been using capitec for the past seven years and I v never been so disgusted with the service. Thats how us customers are treated in a banking institute, we are treated like bok droll. .. I am taking this to radio 702 and all social media .
I opened accounts for all my workers to bank with capitec and this is the way they treat us.
I wanted them to write down and state the reason for refusal to even start the loan application, they clearly refused, I gave them the opportunity to apologize, they were not interested .

Capitec Bank High interest rate

Borrowed a personal loan of R249 000 in 2017 October have already paid approximately half the amount I borrowed but still when I check for settlement it reflects as I've only paid 20 000 when I check the overall credit amount seems that capitec is getting interest more than the amount I borrowed, that's why the loan still doesn't change much even after so much payments, seems as if I'm being Scammed this seems as so illegal and unethical I request for credit contract review, because I really don't want to go to debt review, I ask Capitec to deal with this matter first, this is really so unfair, even when we invest our money we never get as much interest more than 100% of what we invest, capitec, I have no idea why you doing this to me maybe you do but to me it looks so unethical and illegal. Recently on 4th October 2019 I went to capic branch asking for a change in debit order dates from 31st to 15th because my payment dates are changed at work but the consultant I spoke with said the monthly premiums will also increase, I was so shocked, it's only from Capitec, all other banks and every debts I have never said such a word, capitec surely want to ruin my life, my name and contribute a lot to my poverty. I really request for fair treatment and review if debts I have with capitec with immediate effect, I'm almost loosing my mind.

I borrowed money from Capitec Bank in 2017 October amount of R249 000 was paying approximately 7000p/m for a 60 month period, was paying well didn't miss a single payment, In November 2018 I went to ask for loan top up, at Nongoma Capitec Branch, the consultant who was helping me told me that they can only make a new loan contract not a top up, she then gave me R21 000 And gave a period of 75months at R695p/m and she told me she has reduced the the big loan as well to R6300p/m for 75months but wasn't made aware that due to that the interest rate also increases I assumed it's because I've already paid approximately 84000 of the loan that's the reason they are able to reduce the loan premiums but to my surprise I'm paying an interest to capitec bank that is more than even the money I borrowed I see this as being so unfair, I've never missed a single payment to the loan, and I'm paying very high premium but and have already paid about half the loan I borrowed but when I check for settlement it reflects as if I've paid R20 000 only, seem so illegal and unethical, I request capitec to review the loan interest it's really so unfair even when we as customers invest our money we don't get so much interest, capitec is contributing to our poverty and failure to pay our debts and running to dept reviews, I request for the review of the credit contract with immediate effect.

Capitec Bank paid up letter

Good day,

We took out a load through Capitec in April. We struggled to get through to request a settlement letter, finally we got helped. The settlement letter was sent to us via email and we paid in full. Now I am struggling to receive my paid up letter. They keep putting me through to other departments and when I get through they say I must go to the bank. When I go to the bank they say I need to phone in.
Can anybody help with my paid up letter?

Kind regards

On the 23rd of Sept 2019 I did CASH SEND on your App and when I went to Shoprite I was told the money is not available. I then went to one of your Branches in Philippi and the agent that was assisting me called the Head Office and I was told to wait. My sister had to go to Eastern Cape but Shes still here because you guys are still keeping my money. What must I do? When am I getting my R500 back?

Your early response is highly appreciated with this regard so that I can leave you guys and go to professional banks with good service.

Capitec Bank loan application

I have applied for a loan. Because of a person in our accounting department that didnt set out my payslip correctly, according to my income (This person was fired), I didnt get the loan. The director even told the HR manager to explain in a letter what was happening and the poor guy at Capitec tried his best, but his boss didnt want to listen. I needed that money for my child operation tomorrow. My medical aid does pay 100%. Now we can not go ahead with it, because some person didnt do their work and some boss in Capitec can not understand when it was explained. My loan ref was: Ref: [protected]. I feel that sometimes, you have to understand a situation. Everything was explained in facts.

Capitec Bank capitec listing on credit bureaus

Account number : [protected]

In 2017 I applied for Voluntary Sequestration, which was granted.

Part of my liabilities listed in the court order was amount of R65, 114.53 which was to be paid to Capitec Bank. I then paid a monthly amount for 19 months, as detailed during the application for the sequestration order. Once the final amounts were paid, I then applied for Rehabilitation, and paid the applicable amounts. The Rehabilitation Order was granted in May 2019.

However, I check my credit profiles regularly, and I noticed that the old Capitec debt (which was part of the original sequestration order) is back on my credit profile. I've tried to do the application via the CCSEnquiries@capitecbank.co.za email address to have the information updated at the credit bureaus, however, I feel that I am getting the run-around. It is also my opinion that there is not the willingness to assist with this.

I have also logged a complaint with the Bank Ombudsman, as I'm really not sure anymore what I can do to resolve this matter, and I feel like giving up! This matter has taken up a lot of my time (at work) as well as taken a strain on me personally. 
Had it not been for the fact that my partner and I are planning to purchase a property jointly, I would have just given this fight up. However, the application for our bond is now pending due to the information which is not being updated.

I feel that I'm being punished for mistakes made in the past, despite the fact that I took corrective actions to attend to the bad decisions made in the past. However, despite being through tough times, and having to make huge sacrifices to get this last hurdle in the process of restoring my credit profile, I feel that I am being blocked by an institution who, in my opinion, now almost refuses to update my profile with the correct information. This, despite the fact that the account was settled during this process.

I need my life back, and it is now on hold due to the refusal to update their records and send the relevant information to the credit bureaus so that my name can be restored (or provide me with a letter stating that the matter has been resolved).

Capitec Bank debited money and rude behavior

It seems Capitec does not look after their customer after all. The incident happened this morning as I bought a whole lot of airtime to make a very important call. As i called the complaints department, i briefly explained the issue to the woman i spoke to this morning and she just put the phone down on me and no one ever called back.
so they debit your account then tell you to wait 24 hours before they action the problem and/ or issue your are facing... they do very little for their customers and treat people like pieces of S**t.

Capitec Bank credit card ccf

Good day,

I have a complaint with Capitec Bank's recent liason with them. I have been retrenched and had applied for the Retrenchment insurance claim that was approved on 22.07.2019 by a mere SMS that only stipulated [Capitec: Good Day, retrenchment insurance claim is approved. Installment is due until settled. Loan will be settled in 60 business days. Info 0860667783].
This SMS did not explain their process.
With a monthly habit of transferring all my salary to the credit card for credit score purposes and emmediately transferring back to accounts for creditors to receive their money. On the 24.07.2019 I mistakenly paid in error of habit to the credit card and could not reverse transactions. I immediately called the Call centre that could not help and said I should go the bank. First thing in the morning of 25.07.2019 I went to the bank and was told it was a mandate thing and they apologise but money should be available within 48hrs. I gave the bank time even after the 48hrs not to impose as I know other banks allow reversal of transactions when done soon enough (All my attempts were exactly done with immediate effect). I returned to the bank on the 29.07.2019 and received the usual kind response and cooperation and they said I will get a call back on the day as they have escalated to Manager who requested they send an e-mail. Till date I have not heard from them, there is also no reference number they issue on all the visits and called they made on my behalf to resolve the matter (in this day and age of tracking systems that are crucial to have especially banks - Capitec fail dismally) . I have had to borrow money so debit orders could go through, having to deal with flooding notifications that they could not get their money in time.
I would really hate to find the bank I have been selling so much to family and friends is actually not equipped to service as other trusted banks.

Good day,

This is an SMS I've received from the bank:
Capitec: Credit Card: Outstanding Bal -R****.** on **-Aug. Payment of R***.** will be collected by Debit Order on **-AUG; Info **********

No one has tried to call as promised. Not the branch or this platform. Capitec, are you denying me my right to reverse a transaction I made in error? Your silence and resistance is an embarrassment to a legit operating Financial Institution. It's almost like a scam operation Capitec is running. I still cannot believe this is how you operate. Some things are not about money but crucially about honour.
