Capitec Bank credit card facility

My name is Thokozani Jacob Mlambo, ID No: [protected], Account number: [protected]. An amount of R34 557.52 was debited from my Savings Account on the 25-Aug but was not made available for me to use. I have been your branches Stoneridge and Greenstone on Saturday and Sunday respectively. In the first instance (Stoneridge) I was told the money will be made available before end of day on Saturday and that did not happen. Seeing the promise not materializing, I went to your Greenstone Branch on Sunday. It's only then that I was told that personnel who has to transact this do not work on weekends, but gave me the reference number 5762 4973. I have made a phone call on your customer care number in Cape Town and they told me they will not be able to help me. They then gave me numbers of the Greenstone Branch which I contacted a few minutes ago and they told me they can't help me and that I need to go to the Branch for the 3rd time. I need to know when are the funds going to be made available. I have debit orders going through and there are payments I need to make, and it's unfair that I was not told that this will happen the way it has. Kindly help please

Capitec Bank incorrect information and failed promises

I took out a new bank account just less than a month ago and was so excited to start my journey with capitec bank. All was good and well up until the 24th. I tried to swipe my card and it got declined. I checked the online banking and it says my remaining balance was transferred to an account number i was not aware of. This alarmed me and i called the customer services. Went through all the legalities and explained my situation. This woman i spoke to sounded so dead and tired and put me on hold 4 times during the call. Turns Capitec took a direct debit for a repayment of the loan on a different date to my pay date. I agreed to the 27th and capitec took my money the 24th. This is absurd and not even authorised. Eventually she transferred me through to collections to reverse the payment. The lady and collections was so rude and uninterested she put me on a dead silent hold for 5 mins without saying a word and when she came back she said it's done it'll take a hour. Its still never being done. I had no travelling money and was stranded. This was the worst thing you people could put me through and then still lie about reversing it. If i do not receive any feedback or compensation for this. I will be taking this to the media and i have recorded the calls which i will be taking as well. Pathetic service capitec bank

Capitec Bank capitec personal loan

I'm reaching out with regards to my capitec personal loan account. My capitec loan is now not reflecting on my credit profile on experian I need clarity as to why this has been removed from experian credit bureau. Please urgently followup with Experian and request that they look into this. I now have an account which I'm paying for which is not reflecting my payments at all. I will provide the latest copy of my experian report upon request please expedite this with Experian.

Capitec Bank unauthorised debit orders

I am up to my wits end with companies having their way with my money. I always have to fight off scavengers trying to steal my money, and when I ask the bank to assist they fail me.

Shesha wizard lifestyle and theunlimited have been debiting money from my account for the past 3 months now. When I tried to dispute these order, I was sent from pillar to post and eventually was told to get a letter from the company authorising the stop order - what nonsense is that?

I am very close to packing and going to another bank.

hi there my name is lindiswa ntola, guys you need to inform people about these people that are doing swimp swap so that they can steal our money and worse at Capitec bank please send sms to the people, they already done my sim card but I don't have money on my account please try to proctect our money, otherwise there is nothing wrong about but our money is not safe totally

Capitec Bank wrong payment not stopped or freezed

Good day

I have made a wrong payment to our truck driver (working 2 weeks for us). I was suppose to pay R6000(six thousand) and by mistake i pay R60 000 (sixty thousand rand). I went with the customer to the branch so that they can stop the amount to be withdraw but they said there is nothing they can do.
I must arrange with the client to be honest and rewerse the money when it shows in his bank account? REF [protected]. REALLY.
if the client is not paying me back this money I HOLD CAPITEC BANK RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MONEY.

Capitec Bank atm and services delivery

I am totally and utterly disgusted in the Adderley Street Capitec Branch - Every month end it seems they have a problem with deposing money at the ATM and forces there clients to go stand in along line with in the bank. As far a my knowledge is this is more bank charges by depositing money with in a branch instead of a ATM - this money extortion as the ATM is down every month end and forces the clients to go stand in a long line in side.

What made me more furious, they had a agent standing at the ATM not even know the deposit section is not working after 20 minutes in the line I had to discover at the ATM is not working but yet you have a consultant standing outside wasting everyone's time and money.

I thing the lack in leadership in that branch need some serious attention as the client service is at 10 % and face and appearance of consultants is just sloppy which brings be to another point.

You seriously need to address the value of clients at that branch as well as look at the service your give to the clients.
Also you agents needs to act more provisional to me this does look like a bank but more like where ppl make loans and appear sloppy.

Capitec Bank poor customer service

I called the call center to dispute an amount that was debited on my account, the customer consultant said I have failed authentication she is unable to assist me, how come? this is my account I have answered everything i know about my account. I do not have time to go to the bank... now i have to loose my money because of the call center. Poor customer service...I have capitec

I think its time i need to return back to Standard bank

Capitec Bank opening of children's account

Would like to know if what is wrong with my husband opening his children's accounts as I was told that I cannot since I am not working, worse part of it I even suggested that, since you guys say that his name doesn't appear on their births certificates but mine only, then how about we bring our marriage certificate but, still they said it had nothing to do with our kids. Like really guys? Our husbands will be denied opportunity to be responsible dads because of your selfishness. Meaning he has to take day off at work to go and queue long home affairs queues for the documents that are there, what for? Worse part of it we are both Capitec Bank clients. [protected]@gmail.com

Capitec Bank bank statement for my deceased father

I would like to raise my dissatisfaction regarding the poor service that I have received regarding the abovementioned subject line. On the 25th of June 2018, my mother and I went to Capitec Bank in Ladysmith, Murchison Street to submit the required documents especially when one of your clients has passed on. We were assisted by Nomusa. We were promised that it would probably take 5 days or less to get the bank statement for my father so that we can submit it to Court for my mother to be able to get the letter of authority. I called on Friday, 30 June 2018 and was told that the stamp in one of the letter was not clear and I said I would rather take it myself to Ladysmith from Bergville. I then went with my mother on the 30th of June 2018 to resubmit.

It is so disheartening that even today we haven't received the bank statement and today it's the 20th of July 2018. I tried calling on numerous occasions today and I have left messages with a hope that Nomusa will return my call and when I called few minutes ago, I was told that she is now attending a presentation, whereas earlier on I was told that she was on lunch.

All the documents were submitted and I really don't know what to do now.

Please assist.

Capitec Bank capitec bank

on the 29 june 2018 the amount of R1000 was withdrawn from my account by someone I don't know, ussb and on the next day the person withdrew R3000 on my account and there was no notification received on my phone, on Monday I wanted to check my balance as I promised a family member to transfere her money then I realised that money was withdrew from my account and it wasn't me, I went to the bank the same day and they said they arew going to investigate the matter ad notify me in 7 days.today they called me and told me they cant refund my money, im not happy with them, how can a person loose money from the people they trust their money is safe

Capitec Bank service

Good day today [protected] 11:12am, I went to Capitec Scottville in PMb, I am not a person who usually complaints. I went there to deposit Money into my account and to another company, The gentleman who assisted me with the deposit was so rude and disgusting, I did not know you can not deposit without Card Holders name and surname the details I had on hand had a company name as an account holder, the way who the paper on the counter I did not even see his name he was looking down the whole time busy with his phone in the corner.

I work at a customer service environment and I felt very insulted and looked down upon. he is not friendly I don't know why he is working in such environment. his behaviour is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, I then proceeded to a very friendly lady Linda who assisted me with my App. I even told her about this gentleman as I walked out I even told a lady that was standing buy the door issuing those numbers.

I was literally hanging over his counter to hear what he was saying because he seemed not interested and did not want to assist either as he was looking down and busy on his Cellular phone.

Capitec Bank bad service

Hi i went to your branch in Menlyn last week they refuse to change my proof of address becouse i had a statement of my life cover than they ask me to e mail it to them the next thing they are offline, today i went to Mall of Africa they also cant help me they need the whole of my statement and i cant give it to them its got private information on the first page is the one shows the address.

Capitec Bank poor service

Hi, i went to capitec jubille mall on the 22nd june 2018 in the moring to open an account for my 10yrs old daughter. i was told dat i didnt bring full documents. i was told to brjng my bank statement, my id, her birth cirtificate and proof of res for both. i came back onthe 29th june 2018 and the same person is now telling me that the birth cirtificate that i have is illigal n i have to make another one with both parents name on it. Making another one extra cost and im not home affair and didnt issue the cirtificate myself. Why cant you have another system that you check if im the real mother or not. Besides what harm will i do for open an account for a child whether mine or not, according to me is in the interest of the child as i'll be using my money to open and maintain the account for her. Did u even consider whe fact that when home affairs change their syatem and try accomodate those who did them before. If there was a fault with them they could have made public annousement
that people muat come to redo their childtens birth cirtificate. U need to make an eception or make another alternative that will not need a mother and a child to run around for just opening an account. Im a loyal capitec client and very and disappointed that even want to change from capitec to fnb as their service and system is very user friendly. The lady who was assisting doesnt have proper customer service and must be given other easy tasks to do instead of being on front desk with less knowledge of the company. Capitec Bank capitec loans

My capitec Loan amount payable p/mth is R4200. Long before month end or before salary date capitec will deduct whatever is left in my account 😠 i complained about this millions of times and still this unrealistic unfair ripoff money making crap of a loan goes off! I will never ever take out a loan from capitec again. Why can other banks schedule all debit orders but capitec can not schedule their own loan like normal and just wait for the costumer to atleast receive their salary first before grabbing the installment. I'm fed up!

I feel the same way, this happened to me two days ago and this is not the first time. Previously I asked them what was the agreed date and why are they taking money money before the agreed date. One thing they forgetting is that this is messing up my credit score and it seems like they don't even care. I just cant wait to get another bank that will remove my loan from Capitec, I just cannot deal with this anymore. I am sooooo over this capitec bank

Capitec Bank collections departments/ regarding my loan

During the week I called in twice to the contact centre, collections department to be specific. As a valuable customer, I always try my best to pay my instalments on my loan every single month, even pay extra cash on my loan, this past week I called in, knowing there is advance on my account, requested not for the full imstalment to be taken, the two ladies I have spoken to clearly told me the remaining of your loan instalment will be deducted, as that was my request . To wake up to a sms full instalment. Please i would like my refund. Of my advance i am so disgusted. Utterly disgusted.

Capitec Bank capitec loan application

Gooday im a client of capitec bank and im currently getting a momemtum benifit disability capitec bank village mall gave me a credit card with the credit of R29000 and a R35000 loan on top of it what im paying back every month then they gave me another loan of R19000 were i paid of some of my dept to get a good credit recort then i first i did a estimation on the net to see what i qualify for a next loan what i want to do is to consolodate my to loans in to one and only pay one amount every month and pay the rest off the balance into my credit card i went in to capitec village mall to see what they can offer me they checked and suddenly they say that according to them in one off there policies it stippulate that they cant give a disibility person a loan and that the consultant that helped me the first time were not supose to give me the loans but everything went thru there head offices and all documents were supmitted the fist time one of the consultans said that i can come in and they can look at the loan application again to consoludate the exsisting loans into one and it wont be a problem i just feld that they lied to me and i hope this mater will be resolved thank you

Capitec Bank dispute outstanding loan balance

Good day

I have a complaint. I had a loan with Capitec which was short settled by R167 back in September 2017 and I only found out about this after 8 months only when I went to Capitec to enquire why i'm still reflecting on credit bureau as if I still owing capitec. No one contacted from Capitec to notify me of this for 8 months. The consultant told me its my responsibility as a client to follow up on my account. I never stopped the debit order why didn't Capitec debited since there was an outstanding amount. Now the balance is R 1600.00 I mean from R 167.00 to R 1600.00 in eight months.

I would really appreciate an assistant with this and if I do not get any help I will take it further with ombudsman.

I do not have a problem paying R 167 that was outstanding after the payment made in September 2017.

Your urgent assistant will be highly appreciated.

Capitec Bank unauthorised debit order

i have a contract with blu labele connect, so they failed to deliver a phone a month ago, but they debited my account with EDO, SO wanted capitec to stop them to debit my account as I cant get hold of this people on the phone.and they are in Johannesburg, capitec did not help me with my problem so I want to know that if its the best when I close the account to stop the problem, cause no one helped me

Good Day

There was a hold on my sons account, me and my mother went to capitec Brakpan the ons in town. What [censored] services we got 1 we went and they said we need proof of adress and my mothers ID and my sons birth certifikate we went and got the paperwork. We went back the Emmanuel told us its not the right proof of adress, question is why could he told is 1st what proof of resident he needs we left came back Kobus gave us such a bad welcome when came back and have a very bad client approached. My mother wanted to open a capitec account but rather going to FNB because of the bad services being provided by Capitec Bank Brakpan Central.

Not a good face for the bank !

Capitec Bank pretend to work in home affairs agents

I have been deposit money to him that amounts to r12000 now through his capitec account thinking if anything happens I can have the price to the banks that I have posted the money bt now capitec is habitating the froud by saying we cannot do anything because its cash deposit. All am asking is for capitec to atleast freeze the fraudulent's account so that I can start the process of getting him arrested at stop stealing other people's money
