Capital Harris Miller Associates Harassment

A woman by the name of Jordan Brown ext 336 called my cell phone and stated that she had a case file in front of her regarding an on-line loan that I took out back in 2012 with a company called Peak 3 and that I was going to have fraud charges filed against me because the account that this company was trying to recoup their payments from that I had supposedly agreed to pay back is a closed account that has been closed since 2011. When I asked her what account did this so called loan go into she wasn't able to provide me with that information, said that the only information she had was the account that they were trying to get the payments out of. She had my social security number and birth date and stated that if I didn't enter into a payment arrangement that day to pay $168.00 that the locater that they had hired to find me would be serving me with papers and that I would be looking at over $ 2000 in legal fees and attorney costs and possible jail time for fraud and defaulting on the payment agreement that I had entered into with this loan company. When I told her that it was all a scam and that they were all over the internet and had several complaints already filed against them she stated that you can't believe anything you read on the internet and that I was going to be sorry that I didn't take care of this when I had the chance. She once again threatened me with the legal action and jail time.

Received a call from Miller and associates stating I owed money from a jewelry debt from 2005. While I was on the phone with them I had a no caller ID phone call come in from a service agency saying they were looking for me to serve me papers. When I tried to conference them in together to get to the bottom of it one of them hung up. I called back to Miller and associates and some guy answered the phone and started making threats and saying that he was running my credit without my authorization as a hard inquiry as we were speaking. He also started saying I owed a bunch of people money and had a bunch of collections out there which I do not. After asking for some more information he hung up on me waited five minutes and called me back and said by the way tell your significant other who he referred to by name that this is going to affect her also and then hung up on me again. The first conversation I explain this was not my debt and had no idea what he was talking about and he got very rude and started telling me that he's on to me, the gig is up and a bunch of other disrespectful things. POS bottom feeder!

Capital Harris Miller and Associates scammed me by messing with my credit! This company is a collection agency that I found on my credit report while checking it to make sure all is well. I have not received any notices in the mail stating that I owe money. Fraud!

Capital Harris Miller Associates Harrasment

Received a call from this company today at my place of work. Caller 1st called asking to speak with someone in our HR Dept, and I asked what was the call in regards to? Caller said I can't disclose that information, and need to speak with someone in your HR Dept. I then told her she would need to contact our corporate office. I was informed by HR that she left a threatening message along with a call back and claim number. My HR contact told me she looked up this company, and she saw a good bit of hits that these people are scammers. I called the number like my HR contact asked me to, so I could address the issue. The caller was very rude as if I was interrupting her by calling. I told her I was calling back in regards to a claim number. She said, Yes, let me grab your file. She then said, Before I go further, verify that you are who I need to speak with by confirming the last four of your SSN. I said well if you have my information...why should I verify? She said I need to confirm before she can disclose info to me. Then I asked isn't someone coming to my job here shortly to serve me papers? She smacked her mouth and raised her voice, and said ma'am I can't tell you anything until you verify your last 4. I said well...I guess I will wait for the person to come with the papers...She said well, We will see you in court...Have a good day.

These ignorant people contacted both my job and personal phone..needless to say they are full of crap..I explained that there is no way a payday loan could be outstanding on a bank account that was closed 2 Years prior to the date they claimed I originally acquired the funds..I asked for a point of contact address and phone number so I could take legal action against them..she Tried to out talk me...sidebar the company that claims they don't make out going calls I could clearly hear someone leaving the same asinine message about considering yourself served..Lol..Anyhow..I told her repeatedly give me the information so I could serve her.. and if they continued calling me at wither number I would file additional suites..end result FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD..they bank on people not having common sense..when I asked if they were recording the call so it's noted everything I said..she disconnected the call...

My husband received a call today at his job from these people saying that he got a payday loan from an online company called Oakbrooks or something in 2013. They had all of his information like our old address, his social security number, date of birth, work address and phone number. They were threatening to serve him with a summons also and even gave him the last four digits to the account that he supposively got the money put into (which are nowhere near what ours are). My husband was smart and didn't confirm any information with them but it's scary that they have his social security number and work address and phone number because they could keep harassing him at work and get him fired! We've never taken out or even applied for a loan online. We're going to the sheriffs office tomorrow to file harassment charges and we're going to report them to the better business bureau. I really do think that all of us should get together and file a class action lawsuit that way these people can't scam anyone else!

I was contacted today by this so called agency claiming I owed a payday loan from 2011 and they just received the claim from JHS marketing. Needless to say I have never heard of this company or JHS marketing. I asked for the address so I could send proof that there was no such payment due to them or any other company as I have already paid this off and offered to send the paper work to show them. This woman threatened to serve me papers as well garnish my wages. In no certain terms told her to do what she needs to do and I will see her in court. I also explained to her if they proceeded with this nonsense I will own their bank account and then some. She stated I have two options either pay the loan amt for $250 plus the penalties of $400. or they will send a locator for me .I looked up the company and they are located in Illinois. Count me in on the lawsuit.

My husband and I have been harassed for months and this guy shows up at the hospital my husband works at and wants to serve him papers but HR kicked him out. What scares me they have his SS number and they had said this is about a payday loan in which we paid back years ago through a debt consolidation com. Hopefully! I don't trust anyone anymore but these SOB's are not getting another dime. My husband is a wreck thinking these people are hanging out at his job in fear of losing his job in which he has worked at for over 25 yrs. these people are such scammers and are out for more money from poor suckers, but I am not falling for it . I got the PD invoked as well as FTC but honestly I don't know what else to do!

I was at work today when I received a phone call from a 'locator" who is local to me. Before she called me, she called my mom, sister, father, grandmother, and my uncle. They said that I am being charged with something, but they couldn't tell me my charges. Only provided me with a case number and phone number. I called the phone number and spoke to "Elena" who claims that I owe Canyon Creek Management LLC $570, but if I made arrangements today, $200 would be dropped and then I could make 4 payments of $92.50 in order to pay off the debt totally. This is supposedly from a loan that they claimed I took out in 2011 (I never did such things). I asked her why I havent seen it on my credit report and she stated that online loans don't show up on your report. I told them that I wouldn't be making any payments until I see documentation that I actually received this loan into my account, and also asked why nobody has called me regarding this debt in 3 friggin years. They do know about my bank account information and they know my social. After I got home, the locator called me again and was very pushy and let's just say that I tore into her like nothing anyone has ever seen. I told her if she ever called my family again I would sue their entire company for violation of my privacy and confidentiality. She said she would be serving me papers and I said I couldn't wait to see her. I called Capital Harris Miller back (which was not what they said the name of the company was when I called), and spoke to "Elena" again and asked her for the name of her company, and stumbled across this. I'm worried that my account is going to be drained, but since these a**holes know my social, I might just be totally screwed. Advice?

I just got a call from these people. Its the same story, a payday loan from 2011 that I don't recall at all. I asked for the validation paperwork per the collections act, and she said that it was passed that point and going into litigation. I told her that I would need to be served then. I am also onboard with a class action.
