CapBeast no product, no refund

In Aug 2018 our company placed an order, which was partially fulfilled. In Nov 2018 we discovered the balance of the order contained discontinued items which were no longer available. We requested a refund. We have followed up 01/08/19, 02/19/19, 03/01/19, 06/07/19, 06/24/19, 07/09/19, 07/10/19, 07/11/19, 07/15/19, 07/16/19, 07/17/19, 07/22/19, 07/23/19, 07/25/19, 07/26/19, 07/29/19, 07/30/19, 08/12/19, 08/20/19, 08/23/19, 08/26/19, 08/27/19, 08/28/19, 08/30/19, 09/03/19, 09/13/19, 09/17/19 and 10/01/19 to date. We are owed $520. Order #cb69581738

I have documentation of all correspondence.

CapBeast never got order, and appears they are unwilling to refund my money

I submitted my order on Jun 08, 2019 for two custom hats. I know, not a large order but it was a sample to see if I even liked it. Well when Aug 27 2019 rolls around and all I have are excuses... and no hats... I request to cancel my order. I get an email that day trying to offer me a discount, so I confirm that I'd like to cancel. The next day, Aug 28 2019 I get confirmation that my order has been cancelled, which is confirmed in my capbeast.com account. In that confirmation I'm told that the case has been passed to their billing department for a refund, which should take 7 business days.

Well today is September 24th, 2019, and not only do I not have my refund... but they also aren't even responding to my emails.

I can't speak to the quality of their product as they blew past their 4-6 week delivery estimate. I will share this exact review everywhere I can as I would like others to know that capbeast.com LITERALLY stole my money. I'm waiting almost a month for a refund. I'm going to dispute the charges with my Credit Card Company to see if that goes anywhere. I don't have high hopes.

CapBeast false advertisement and poor business practice

The hats that I ordered were ordered well in advance. This was to allow some wiggle room for a company I perceived to have quite the work load from the reviews I had read. Unfortunately CAPBEAST has codified the majority of reviews posted prior to this one. My hats were ordered on 14 JUN 2019. I was charged same day. I have contacted representatives of the company multiple times with nearly the same response each time. The response left is apologetic however it seems now after 6 apologies and almost twice the maximum amount of time advertised (4-6 weeks) for arrival of orders the apologies have proved hollow. The website specifically states on the FAQs page: https://www.capbeast.com/faq ...

"Each order is personally customized and made for you. That means the total time from us to you can be 4-6 weeks. We'll keep you updated as your order goes through the different stages of production."

I will be filing a Complaint with the Better Business Bureau next week (12 weeks total wait). I encourage all of those who have experienced the similar results to do the same. I do not believe this would be an issue if the website published factual information. Another quote, this one from the home page capbeast.com proves false and contradicts the terms of agreement stating...

Quick Turnaround
Making custom stitched hats takes a little more time than just shipping pre-made products off of a shelf. Expect a turnaround time of 4 weeks or less on most orders. That's better than anybody in the business.

In closing, while Capbeast.com refutes claims of being a SCAM experience with this company would suggest otherwise. Refer to the quotes from their website, the terms of agreement and add to that a promised "20 percent refund" for patience that has yet to arrive. Read a minimum of 4 reviews submitted prior to this one and anyone would be hard-pressed to conclude that Capbeast has extremely poor business practice. My question is this a business at all?

CapBeast trucker hat

I ordered 4 hats 2 months ago and I have not heard back from this company! They advertised on Facebook that the hats would be back in 2 weeks. I have emailed constantly and called the number and have yet to get a response. Either they are a scam company or lying about the completion time. This is beyond ridiculous! On every review page I have read nothing but horrible stories about CAPBEAST! We should start a class action lawsuit against this company.

CapBeast custom embroidered beanie

I placed an order for embroidered beanie hats in December of 2018. I received them at the end of March of 2019, about 4 months later. I had asked for a refund after 2 months of waiting, which I received a reply of, "We offer no guarantee on delivery date."

When I finally received the beanies, the quality was terrible, they manipulated the art and ruined the design. A design that I have embroidered on different apparel, so I know it can be reproduced correctly. I wanted to save a buck and give a new company a shot. The beanies are unusable, and I have yet to hear from Capbeast after emailing them photos and my complaint.

Say away from Capbeast if you value your money. Their customer service is terrible.

Oh, I forgot to mention, they sent me a $20 coupon off another order. A coupon that expired before I received my first order. Glad I didn't order anything else.

CapBeast no product no refund as promised.

ordered a hat with Capbeast in mid December with the promise of receiving it before Christmas. Fast forward to mid February I got tired of waiting for it and requested a full refund. Initially they offered me only 10% of the refund which is unacceptable to begin with. Then when finally being promised a refund fast forward to today 3/26/19 and my refund has been continuously delayed and delayed with excuses such as "taking longer than expected" and "billing system upgrades" as the excuse for this unprofessional behavior. Do not do business with them. They are con artists. For the price they charge they are not worth the headache.

CapBeast refund order cb68337606

Order CB68337606... First problem ordered August 8. Contacted company multiple times. Finally got a response that they could not complete my order. Then was offered a discount on a product they could not complete anyway?
2nd problem and more severe and CROOKED... they charged my credit card on day one and have not refunded me still. Keep telling me with a very copy/pasted response that they are having technical difficulties...
3rd problem .. they have technical difficulties but continue advertising specials and obviously taking new orders from customers. How much money are they ripping people off?

CapBeast order never fulfilled / cancelled / no refund yet

Looking at other reviews, it appears I have the same opinion and experience as many others.
Ordered back in August. Have continued back and forth correspondence.
1st was told one of the beanies was discontinued and that was the reason for delay. I was asked to pick a different item of equal or lesser value. I selected one and was told my order would be expedited.
After 2 months of waiting I get an email about a management hold on warehouse activity. They asked that I accept a 15% credit for the inconvenience. I asked to cancel my order for a full refund.
Luckily already received a response back that my cancellation will be sent to the billing department for a full refund. We'll see how long that takes to process.
Seems fishy to me.

Now, 8 days after requesting to have my order cancelled and fully refunded, I still have not received a refund; but I did receive an email that the order was cancelled. They have the time to respond on a bad review, but don't have time to actually complete an order or refund my money?..can I say ZERO STARS!?!?!?

CapBeast return/replacement policy

A few months before the bad experience I'm about to share, I ordered my first hat from CapBeast. It was a trial run to see the quality and I loved it. In fact, I even ordered a hoodie from what I'm assuming is their sister store, HoodBeast.com. My logo was correct and the quality of the hat and sweatshirt were great.

I ordered 3 more hats from CapBeast and my experience with them this time around was so ridiculous that I had to write a review.

My company logo was incorrect on all three hats. I sent them the exact same logo that I used(I only have one version) for the previous orders and they totally botched it this time. I e-mailed their customer support team and provided them with photos. They acknowledged that they made a mistake yet only offered me a 15% refund of the total amount of my order and told me to keep the hats.

Yes, I'm serious. I have the e-mails to prove it.

I declined and told them I didn't want a refund. I just wanted what I paid for. Crazy concept, right?

They came back with a 30% refund...and told me I can keep the hats. Unreal.

I decided to call their customer hotline instead so I could talk to someone. Nobody answered and after about a week, I have yet to receive a phone call.

Its a true testament to who they are as a company if the customer is working harder to save them business than they are.

After reviewing the return policy, I realized that if my order was wrong, I was always going to lose out in the end. They clearly know their product is inconsistent because they state in their return policy that even if your product is printed incorrect, it is up to the manager's "discretion" on whether or not they issue a replacement or refund. Basically, if you place an order, you better hope it's printed right. That's my interpretation as I am living it.

Would it have been so awful for them to reprint my hats correctly and send them to me?

At the end of the day, I just want what I paid for. If they reprint my hats correctly and send them to me at no charge, I would gladly consider this matter resolved. However, I will never shop with them again until they revise their return/replacement policy to be fair to their customers. In addition, I'll gladly dissuade any of my friends, family and business associates from working with them until they do.

CapBeast no one answers the phone

I placed an order over a month ago. Two weeks after my order I called in to ask about status, leaving my name, number and invoice number. Since then I've left 2 more messages on the voicemail without a response in over 2 weeks. Today, I've called 8 times in a row, hoping to reach someone, but have yet to talk to anyone at CapBeast.

At this point, I'd like to cancel my order, but no one will contact me and I cannot reach anyone at CapBeast. Since CapBeast has failed to uphold their own terms of service, I will not uphold my part and report any charges from CapBeast as fraudulent.

CapBeast no service, no response

The CapBeast team should improve their customer service department if it exists though.
They have everything for a successful communication with customers: phone number, online form and an email, but none of those means works. Maybe they do, but there's nothing to monitor it.
I am very disappointed because I am having several issues with my order and I want them to resolve it, but I can't reach anyone, even though I called multiple times.

Ordered 3 hats.. waited 4 months! After countless excuses I decided to cancel as I assumed I would have product in hand within a month or two. I canceled the order...now I've been waiting 1 month for my money...still waiting! It's excuse after excuse! You will have it Friday is the common phrase. Capbeast sucks! I want my money back thieves!

Worst experience ever, it's a scam. I placed an order for hat with a logo I developed myself, the website let me upload the artwork and never flagged a problem with the logo, then i got a call back from them saying they couldn't do because the details of such logo were too complex for the embroidery process, they offer to do a simplified version and I accepted, at that point I was a little disappointed but thought it was still alright. I didn't her anything from them for 4 weeks, when I inquire about my order they say it was in process and that the standard lead-time was 6 weeks, it seemed excessive but I accepted, I didn't hear from them for another 4 weeks, when inquired about it the said the order got mixed up bu that it'll get done soon. 2 weeks after still dint hear from them and decided to cancel my order, they didn't seemed to care too much. So I waited 10 weeks total and still didn't get my hat. They got back to me to tell me to expect details getting my refund. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time ordering from this business, it's a complete fraud.

These guys are horrible 4 months in and no sign of my order. They have some block on Paypal disputes so they basically scammed me for 140 bucks. Should be a 0 star option

This is not a company. It is simply an online scam. Do NOT pay them before receiving your product. If you have already ordered, lodge a complaint with VISA immediately. Do not believe them when they say they will credit your card. It is simply a stall tactic. I don't know who the disgusting individuals behind the scam are, but they are pitiful.
