Canada Post Christmas cards still not received from uk and sending to uk

I mailed card with pics in a bubble mailer on December 3 to my son in UK - he still has not received this!

Also, I sent cards to my other family in the UK and they still have not received them - posted on December 5th.

You are worse than any third world corporation and should not be in the mail/post business whatsoever. Your cost to mail letters /cards etc. is way too much and you are ONLY interested in delivering parcels or packages which should be left to the experts which you clearly are not.

Desired outcome: some other explanation than saying its Covid!

The delivery of Christmas cards this past holiday was appalling! A card mailed in Edmonton Dec 4th arrived at my address in Vancouver January 5th. There were two stamps on the card, so no excuse about the right amount of payment! My cards sent to UK the first week of December are only just arriving over there as of Jan 12/21! A card sent by my brother the first week of December has not arrived at my address yet (Jan 12/21).

No wonder no one wants to send Christmas cards any more - why would we bother. Time to privatize the system, it clearing does not work the way you are doing things. My mail at 1490 Pennyfarthing Drive is delivered daily after 3.00pm, if we are lucky - shame!

Something has to be done and please don't use the COVID excuse - this has been over used!

No email was received and according to the Canada Post Tracking site, the parcel is still in transit.

Desired outcome: Would like to know where parcel is and why there has been on movement of the parcel since December 20.

Canada Post Poor customer service canada post outlet london drugs, gibsons, bc

Approximately 10:45 am 5/01/2021 I went to this outlet to mail a parcel to UK.
The very rude postal service person informed me, in a very sharp manner, that I should have filled out the customs form on line, since she said that as from 01/01/2021 everyone had to. I knew nothing of this since I rarely send International parcels. She begrudgingly gave me a form repeating again about filling it in on line. I asked for a sanitized pen, only to be told that one was six feet away AND in a box. She ask how much was the declared value which I gave . When she saw the completed form sh raged at me for not detailing all that was in the parcel. Yes I had three items in it. She again was rude to me, I left telling I was going to the main Postal Outlet in lower Gibsons, there I received VERY GOOD. Polite service, no mention was made of the new regulations regarding customs forms.
I feel that this London Drugs lady should be given some training in interpersonal service, she clearly needs it.
As you can see I am not very happy with this lack of respect and service.

I now have details for future customs forms but I will not be going to that Canada Post outlet

Desired outcome: Give her some training or fire her.

Canada Post Registered letter tracking

On Dec 18, 2020, I sent a legal document via registered which included tracking, this involves getting a signature from recipient, the delivery person instead put it in a mailbox and never tried for a signature, when if not deliverable a notice is put in mailbox for pickup at the post office and a signature is required at pick up, because of this incompetence I have no verification of delivery and now have to reset my timeline for another 60 days, all this puts at risk thousands of dollars I may not be able to collect,. This carrier should be reprimanded for his or her actions, I am absolutely furious, how is it possible this person has a job a Canada Post, absolutely disgusting. After tracking the letter, I was told it was undeliverable { a lie put in place by the letter carrier, if this were true I would have gotten the letter back, which in this case would have been the best possible scenario other then getting a signature, So I called Canada Post to find out where the letter was, it was then I was told of the incompetence of the carrier and after many many apologies they would refund my money I paid for registered letter, If I had not phoned Canada Post they would have done nothing. I am still waiting for the refund but this will not change the fact the damage has been already done because of a lazy unprofessional letter carrier.

Desired outcome: Reprimand for letter carrier including suspension

Canada Post Christmas packages not received

I mailed 2 packages to my brother in London, Ontario which are Christmas presents. The first package was mailed on December 15th 2020 and the cost to mail this package was $31.02 - this package was supposed to be delivered in 4 business days but to date it has not been delivered. The tracking # is [protected]. This package has been sitting in Winnipeg MB since December 30th so it travelled from Vancouver BC to Winnipeg MB and it took 15 days to do so. The expected delivery date shown now is January 4th, 2021.
The service is unacceptable, if I was told at the time of mailing the package that it would take almost a month for the receiver to get this package I would have use another carrier. Unacceptable service and to add insult to injury there is no one available with all of the post office's links to speak with me.

In addition to the above package I mailed another package on December 22nd 2020 this package has not been received to date and is still in Winnipeg - given the fact that people are sending more packages during the Christmas the post office should have laid on my transportation to service the public sending Christmas gifts to family and friends across Canada. This is unacceptable service which adds insult to injury because the customer is unable to speak with a real person. UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE

Desired outcome: Where are my packages and when will the recipient receive their Christmas Gifts?

Canada Post Lack of delivery

Lazy and useless! Gave one star because there is no option for a negative amount. Ordered printer ink Dec 6th 2020. Due to covid and other 'excuses' the delivery date was changed 3 times. Final delivery date given was Dec 29th by end of day. At 1:50pm on the 29th, myself and my wife were standing in the entrance to our home and watched as a Canada 'we do not care or deliver' van pulled in front of our house, driver got out with a parcel in his hands, took two steps towards the rear of the van, turned around got back in and drove away! Could not believe what we witnessed. The sidewalk and driveway were completely snow free, (I took photo's to prove it right after he drove away because I wondered if he might use that as an excuse) some packed snow on the road, he could obviously see how clear our (over size) driveway etc was as he drove towards it. 100% no excuse for the non delivery. Our front door is a few seconds from where he parked, he was even already out of the vehicle. This makes zero sense! We complained online to C.P. with an explanation of what we witnessed and all we were told is the parcel is ready for pick up at our local post office. No apology, no 'we will talk to the delivery person', no concern of any kind, seriously doubt that they even read our complaint. They basically just dismissed our concerns, they are absolutely ignorant and useless from the top down. It is bad enough that it took over 3 weeks for a parcel to come from B.C. to AB. but to not even bother walking to our door once leaving the vehicle is pathetic! With all of the people looking for work right now, you would think this employee would be grateful for having a job and if not, then C.P. should replace him.

Desired outcome: Hire better employees, deliver packages correctly and at least apologize for your employees lack of work ethic

Canada Post Package undelivered yet

My package was booked on 21st of Dec 2020 with Canada Post in express delivery with estimated timeline of 3 business days. It has not been delivered till date and tracking shows it to be still in Montreal.

It was destined from Laval (QC) to Halifax (NS) and I paid extra to get express delivery with Canada Post. However, even after 8 days of booking my parcel is stills showing to be in Montreal. Ticket number [protected] is already open to inquire about the same but I still do not see any advancement on tracking tool neither the customer services is able to provide any update.

This is not acceptable as I paid express charge for timely delivery, whereas, Canada post has delayed my package even more than a normal delivery time. Moreover they do not have any update about the reason of delay and I do not see any progress on delivery tracking tool.

I would request your immediate kind intervention to get this sorted and get my harassment ended.

Regards,
Arvinder Pal Singh Sethi

Canada Post Worst company to work for.

Canada Post needs to train and educate it's supervisors and especially superintendents in how to handle themselves with more compassion and empathy when dealing with its employees that have mental health issues. Management including superintendents do nothing but compound mental stress and make the depot a toxic work environment.
For a company that proclaims advocacy in mental health they sure have a very long way to go before they practice what they preach. Avoid at all costs for a career choice or anysort of employment. Especially in the KW region.

Desired outcome: Axel Murphy

Most large organizations like Canada Post pass the responsbilility of assisting staff members struggling with mental health issues, whether they provide temporary workplace accommodations during a time when an employee is struggling, onto their Employee Assistance Program. Their management is not trained to see mental illness as a sickness like any other sickness but rather put the blame on the employee themselves and think the EAP is the only solution thereby forcing an employee who may not want to disclose private health information onto another forum and go through more hoops to get assistance they need which may just be a temporary move for a few weeks until prescribed medication has had a chance to take its course.

Canada Post Parcel not being shipped

Tracking # [protected] was processed in Richmond, BC on December 6th and hasn't moved since. This is inexcusable. I am currently going through cancer treatment and needed this item by the 22nd. It was originally supposed to arrive by December 18th. Does anybody actually work at that facility? It doesn't take 3 weeks to get it on a truck to Manitoba. It should have left Richmond within a day or 2.

Desired outcome: Ship my parcel ASAP

Canada Post Flat rate parcel

On December 7, 2020 I purchesed two large flat rate parcel boxes from shoppers drug mart in Webber Greens Edmonton. I subsequently posted the two boxes at the same drug store. It is now Dec 23 (almost three weeks later) and the parcels have not yet arrived at their Thunder Bay destination. The only documents that I received from the drug store was a receipt when i purchased the two empty flat rate boxes. I received no other paper work when I posted the two parcels at the same drug store. I was not given any tracking numbers at all when i posted the two parcels. Now I am told that there is nothing that can be done since I don't have tracking numbers and I am loosing the value of the items in the two parcels plus the $62 i paid to ship them. I suspect the day I posted the parcels the person behind the desk was so busy she forgot to properly attach the shipping lables and give me my copies. I am very upset over this type of service level and wish to know what path forth is to resolve this matter. I still have the receipt where I paid for the two flat rate boxes.

Desired outcome: were in the two parcels plus the flat rate box costsrefund me the value of the christmas presents that

Canada Post Mail person keeps putting mail in my mailbox that doesn't belong to me.

I have been living at this address for over 2 years 533 Wingale Private K1T2H3. They changed the mail person. She keeps putting mail in my box that doesn't belong to me. Previous person. One day I had about 6 envelope and wrote on the top one return to sender with an elastic all around them wrapped in a paper saying that I was the only one living here. She took the top ones and put the other 5 in my mailbox again. I have to walk over to the mailbox and I walk with a cane. Do I have to bring them home all the time write on them and walk over to put them back in the mailbox. Right now, I have 11 of them in my mailbox, she knows they are there and once I put them back to send it out, she puts them back in my mailbox. When she is at the mail area, I seen he more than once having a cigarette there. I never had these mail before she came around. What is wrong with this person... Is it my responsibility to deal what that mail. I am to the point where I want to through it out

Canada Post Lack of delivery

My address is 1690 Stewart Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. V9S4E1. Tel: [protected].
Parcel Tracking Number: 8624593534913798

The postman keeps on leaving delivery notices without making any attempt to actually deliver the parcel. The parcels are delivered to the Main Office of the Marina (address above) as I live on a boat at that address. He tells the office staff either the parcel came from the U.S. in which case he cannot be bothered to check if any payment is required, assumes it does and just leaves a ticket.

The latest parcel isn't from the U.S. and contains a guitar tuner, which is about 2" x 2" so it isn't too big to deliver nor can there be any outstanding amount to pay as it was shipped within Canada. In order to get my parcel, I have to drive five miles, stand in a queue for at least 30 minutes putting myself and everybody else at risk of spreading Covid 19. I am 70-years-old which puts me more at risk than the average citizen.

In addition to this dreadful service, I understand it is Canada Post policy not to rectify their mistake and deliver the following day meaning I HAVE to drive 10 miles round trip and take a risk.

This kind of service is intolerable and I need somebody to sort my postman out. Please assist me with this problem.

Yours sincerely,

Roy Way

Canada Post Undelivered registered letters

In the last few months I was sent several registered letters that I neither received or received any notice about. Specifically one was sent on Oct. 23, 2020 from Busters Towing. I never received it or any notification about it. This failure has cost me upwards of $3000 as a direct result of not getting the letter. The other registered letters I never received were from the city of vancouver and not receiving those letters has cost me close to $500.

Canada Post Customer service

Went to the Crofton post office with my baby today November 25-2020, and had a terrible experience. My husband was away at work so I walked 1 km uphill to get my mail, carrying my baby all the way with back pain and lingering pain from other health issues. I entered the post without noticing the sign about mandatory masks as I was out of breath and struggling from my walk to get there. I gave my postal info and ID to initial worker and she was about to look for my parcels, when another lady came from the back room and yelled "what are you doing here! You should get out and come back with a mask!" I told her I'm sorry, and she said "you could be charged" I repeatedly apologized and said I didn't see the sign but she was yelling loudly and rudely. I felt humiliated and harassed as I was kicked out while crying in front of the other customers. I told her "you should respect me, is there no humanity here? I'm carrying a child. I understand about the masks and I'm sorry for that but I should be treated with respect. I left mad and humiliated and abused, carrying my baby. I want my right and justice and human respect.

Canada Post Package delivery - persons with disabilities

Canada Post has implemented new rules regarding package delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have removed the option to pick-up packages at their facilities, but rather you can pick-up only from your nearest post office. The new rules have stated that more and more pick-up notices will be left as mail increases. Instead of attempting delivery, Canada Post will be leaving pick-up notices only. They will not enter apartment buildings anymore. If you are a person with a disability, a senior with limited mobility, or someone who is under stay at home orders, your only option for picking up your package is to have someone else sign for it and pick it up for you. If you are isolated or do not have someone to do this for you, your package will be held for 15 days then returned to sender. The ONLY other option is to submit a request for delivery accommodation. This takes at least two weeks to process and will be mailed to you. You must fill out the form then mail it back. If you're a person with a disability, your only way to be accommodated is to physically go to a mail box and mail in your request form (something obviously not everyone can do).

This is abysmal. This complete oversight of people who lack mobility is disgusting, especially for a government agency. If you are unable to go to the post office to pick up your package, whether it's the new pants you ordered, or your essential medication, you simply won't get your package. I was further informed by a customer service agent that as mail volume increases they will be refusing to re-deliver packages.

On top of this, during a global pandemic, Canada Post is now forcing people to congregate at the post office in order to collect their mail. This is NOT safer than simply delivering packages at the front door of your home or apartment building.

And now the have suspended delivery times for Xpress Post because of Christmas build up and Covid-19 and I paid a premium price for this service which I was not told at the Post Office otherwise a simple package would arrive the same time for less cost. Canada Post covers their [censored] for their short comings by saying it was supposed to be posted at the post office and told to use. When I want to mail a parcel, I don't look around for notices at all, just give my the service I require. I had it with the Corporation and from now on its going Fedex or UPS etc. Ordinary snail mail I have to live with.

Canada Post Service

Why does a parcel leaving Mississauga for Windsor have to spend two days in London, Ontario? That's asinine, that's Canada Post! When you try to contact them to ask why, you get a "virtual assistant" that's even more incompetent than the [censored]s that run the post office! Why is it so hard to contact companies now and talk to a real person? Are they afraid of Covid through the internet? Don't get me started about THAT scam.

Canada Post Left big package on my gf door step and it was stolen

You left a package I sent to my gf on my GFs door step instead of giving her a notice card that the package arrived package, That is the most irresponsible thing I can ever think of.
Imagine you a delivery guy leaving a big white package on someone's doors step; There is no place to even hide it on her door step so why even leave it there? Quoted by a representative "because of covid we try not to have to many people come in to the pick up points"
Don't you think it would be better to leave a notice considering that
1. The package was really big and obvious.
2. Theres no way to conceal it on her door step.
How much brain power does it take to stop and think "hey maybe I shouldn't leave this package on this door step considering I cant hide it and the package is big and obvious"
Not only that but the delivery man claimed to have knocked and rang the door bell but her family and her was home all day because it was her birthday; They did not hear a knock nor the ring of the door bell.
On top of all this Canada posts package tracker is useless, It only gets updated when someone manually does it so when the package was delivered I only got the updated a day after to tell us the package was delivered. What is the point in a package tracker if there are no live updates? what use is it, to let me know a day later that my package was delivered to my door step? Despite the excuses I was told on the phone to advocate for your delivery man, your system is still utterly flawed. It took a high school student loosing his package in order for the flaws to be understood and brought to light... Canada post needs better people to come up with ideas and finalizing them; they also clearly need to hire better educated individuals that deliver packages.
I am also frustrated because it says REQUIRES SIGNATURES and there isn't even one attached to it. Why give me the option to require one if your just going to toss it on my gfs door step for everyone to see.
Even with covid dont you think that instead of making the system sloppy you should find a way to maintain the quality service you guys claim to have by using better methods?
