Canada Post does not deliver except to itself.

Businesses should not use Canada Post. Canada Post has this irrational delivery policy where they only deliver to themselves, not customers. I guess that's government...

A package I ordered from a Canadian business was not even dropped off in my stupid Super Mailbox but a notice card was left for me to pick it up.

Having to spend extra time and gas to go out to pick up stuff would seem to defeat the entire purpose of shopping from home.

Now Canada Post wants to set up u-pick-up fulfillment centres, wasting more taxpayer's money on the same dumb non-delivery policy.

Deliver the mail or get out of the business Canada Post. I can't even register an official complaint; as far as Canada post is concerned, the package was delivered - to themselves.

Canada Post delivery

I was home waiting for a parcel when i got an email that an attempt had been made to deliver my package and a note had been put into my mailbox. I had been home when the delivery attempt was made but the door bell wasn't rung, it was just assumed that no one would be home. It is very frustrating when you are waiting for a time sensitive package and now i have to wait to pick it up at the post office the next day. The doorbell should be rung no matter what time of day it is. Its the holiday season for everyone and wasting time is not part of my plans

Canada Post xpresspost - usa sm business

On November 30 I had a parcel weighed for shipping options. I reviewed these options with my customer and she chose "Xpresspost-USA Sm Business with 3 business days Guaranteed Service ".

On December 2 I shipped the parcel Xpresspost-USA Sm Business. Per the tracking number information provided, this parcel arrived in the USA on December 8. My customer received UPS notice the following day that the expected delivery date is today.

The most expensive shipping charge was paid because the parcel was needed last week.

Please refund the amount paid.

I would also like to know why the cost of shipping this parcel increased $0.14 between Nov. 30 and Dec 2.

Canada Post did not receive my package

My package from China was on route to Canada 11/6/2019 & arrived in Richmond BC. 11/10/2019 . Tracking # L0397185436CN. It went to Burnaby & was processed 11/11/2019. Delivery status shows expected delivery 11/18/2019. I did not recerive the package . On line it shows " in transit " every day, including today 12/05 /2019.
I want to know where this package is & if I will receive . Also since status shows " in transit " the supplier will not re-ship or give refund as they believe it will still be delivered to me . If package is lost & there is no record of it then " in transit " should be removed from status . I tried contacting Canada Post by phone customer line & on line but rec'd message on both there is no information with that track number . Not good service or customer relations . Makes me think I should always use UPS or another courier in the future .

Canada Post package non delivery

Hi, We reside in Sudbury on. 457 Eva Av..P3C4N5 This is getting to be a real problem, , , Item is tracked as "Out For Delivery " but No attempt to deliver is made. All I get is the Notice to pick up at the P, O. yet again. This driver is doing a half [censored] job. Other homes get their packages, we get the Shaft. Only the notice is put in the box, picking up my package can mean two trips to the P.O.!, , What Gives?

Canada Post lost package

I am waiting for a package that has not yet arrived at my address at 86 Sharpe cres. Tottenham, New Tecumseh, Ontario L0G 1W0. Online on your website it says the package arrived at the community mailbox, however I do not believe that the carrier from the post office in town to my address placed the item in the community mail box because it is 2 adult full size electric motorcycles and can not possibly fit inside a community mail box. The post office carrier did not leave a note on the door either. I see online that the package was received at Canada Border Services than processed to the Canada Post distribution centre in Mississauga and then finally to Tottenham.

May I please know what the weight and size of the package was. Canada Border Services certainly would have recorded that information, and what is the procedure for when a package is to big for the community mailbox. After that is all done, it would be wonderful if you can please find my package and have it delivered to my home as soon as possible.

The tracking number is L0246494435CN. If the item can not be found, I would like to request compensation of $271.59 from Canada Post for losing my item please and thank you, Looking forward to your reply.
Any help in finding my package would be appreciated.

Canada Post item posted from uk incorrectly returned to sender by canada post

On 17th October I posted a tube with art print to 16 Van Horne Crescent, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 6G9 from UK by Royal Mail. The item can be tracked on the Royal Mail website: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/tracking-results/RY086590094GB
It was at T2E Canada Post office on 5th November then incorrectly returned to sender claiming address incomplete. This is not true - the address is the full address and indeed in October I sent another item to the exact same address and it was delivered by Canada Post just fine. Recipient confirms address is correct and spoke to Canada Post which admitted same. Royal Mail say it is unable to validate Canadian addresses and dont accept responsibility as they didnt return it to the UK. Canada Post told recipient o the phone they cannot track the item on their system so cannot deal with it. I have bought international postage in good faith, with correct payment, correct address label and correct customs declaration. Through no fault of mine and a mistake by Canada Post the item was returned to the UK arriving back 20th November. I need a refund of this postage and require Canada Post to work with Royal Mail in the UK to resolve this issue. Thanks

Canada Post package delivery on nov 18, 2019 monday

Hello my name is Rosemary Ferrer, at 3050 Ellesmere Rd. Unit 1406. i waited this second package from Indigo for two weeks which i was told that it would be delivered during the week of Nov 18, 2019. Thus, on Monday, Nov 18, 2019 between 4:30 -5:30 i got a call from downstairs of our building from a female post office delivery person. She " demanded "for me to come down because i had a package. i used the word demanded not a request because she did not even use a polite word "Please..." plus the tome of her voice. i suggested to her " to place it in our mailbox with key (very convenient for seniors, like me within our building) or leave it with our security guard for the reason " i couldn't come down as i was already in my "nighties". More so i wasn't feeling well. She agreed to leave it with the security guard. Or whatever choice she made. i called the security guard right away after and informed him of such agreement. The following evening, Tuesday, Nov 19, 2019, i was on my way to church, i checked my mail box but no key for the package to be picked up in the mailbox key provided in the building. And i checked the Security Guard, as well. None! Further to this non-delivery of service was that this female post delivery person did not leave a "Delivery Notice " card in my personal mailbox. If she had leave me a Delivery Notice, i would have picked it up that Tuesday evening as i was on the bus route where the Post Offices in my area on my way to church: Morning Side Ave inside Shoppers Drug Mart or the Pharmacy in Orton Park. The latter is not accessible for me because it's interior. i don't drive. It kept me thinking : What for is the Mailbox with Key in Maple dale building if it's not being used for such a small package? Why did she not make use of it that evening?

i emphasized being "female" because in truth, that was the first time i have a female delivery person from the post office. Usually its a male and they would just leave it at the door of my unit which was what happened with the other package a week earlier. My heartache with this non-delivery service was that I WAS AT HOME! Why couldn't she just left it at my door which the other delivery post man did a week ago with the other package which i have with Indigo under the same ON-LINE ORDER Number. This is simply a small package of two, small children books for use this Sunday as gifts for a baby's baptism . This is NOT ACCEPTABLE customer service from one of your employees especially to seniors. To me it was such a waste of time and rendered not just inconvenience to a senior but more so she lacks considerate thinking that I Was At Home WHOM SHE SPOKE TO! It was just an act of denial of me and denied me of the courtesy as a customer whom she talked to . She did not even say "Thank you, mam or so and so..." She just simply hang up. And i thought my package was left with the guard or in the mailbox with key.

i would like that this Post Office delivery woman be reprimanded of her NON-ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR with no proper attitude towards her job and to her customer. Again, she simply deny that fact that I WAS AT HOME" Why did she deny me of my package which i really needed this Sunday? Was it out of her laziness to come up upstairs which according to the guard, she had other packages when she called me from the vestibule of the building. She was still getting into the lobby and have to go "door to door" option which she denied me of. Such misbehaviour and such act has adverse effect on me as i don't usually go out because i am having asthma/allergy attack. She could have rendered a senior customer a long time excellent service for her to remember with.

More so, for the inconvenience and worry at what i am going to gift for this baptism day, i would file a serious NON-ACCEPTABLE behaviour of your (female) employee who denied me a good, acceptable customer service. i am really unsatisfied customer of Canada Post Office.

Canada Post no packages

Every single time I order off amazon which is often and they use canada post as a courier instead of anyone else I don't get my packages. They come later after expected. The tracking is not updated and they don't even attempt to deliver the packages they just drive from warehouse to warehouse. No notice on door either even tho they lie and said they did but who cares.
Called to complain and got a very strong accented woman who only repeated "is there anything else I can help you with" while she ignored everything I said and tried to cut me off. Worst company ever that does nothing much but take your time money and taxes.
Also i'm not paying to renew my ids just to prove i'm me so some nobodys can give me my package that was supposed to already be at my house. All other packages from other couriers make it right to the door without all this. Get you [censored] togather.

Canada Post purolator service - reference number [protected] for filed complaint with purolator

On October 21, 2019 our receptionist at Thomson Rogers, weighted two boxes to weight in at declared weight of 12 lbs and our reference was 081-704 for this transaction.

We received an invoice dated October 25, 2019, Account Number 0644458, Invoice Number [protected] for $523.04 for 102 lbs (adjusted weight).

I called Purolator services first and asked to speak to a supervisor. Steve Mills returned my call. He looked into my shipment and emailed me back that "our records indicate 1 piece was marked as 6 lbs with dimension 9.2x6.2.3.6 inches and the second shipment was marked at 6 lbs with dimensions of 39.2x20.6x14.2 inches (snow board). This was billed correctly. The reason this is expensive is due to the size of the second piece".

I emailed him back saying that "I will get back to you on this since your company is not willing to take another look at this to lower the cost".

I send a further email saying "Steven, when our receptionist put in for 9lbs she does not obtain a quote for 9 lbs - why did your office not contact her directly when you saw the 9 lbs entry that she made on the invoice, and your office did adjust the weight to 102 lbs without consulting our office with the change made?"

I find this most unfair practice for Purolator to not communicate when they change the order slip without consulting with the consumer.

Please advise whether or not you provide us with some help here in reducing the costs associated with this shipment.

Canada Post not delivering signature required parcels

this is the 3rd time that I had a parcel requiring a signature not delivered...they delivered the other 2 parcels they had so only had to ring my apartment as there were 3 people at home. this is the 3rd time and all have been for medical marijuana. this only happens when our regular deliverer is off..there is no need for this..people are paying for this service and Canada Post is failing to deliver thus ripping off their client and customer...I am disabled so hard to get out and about but these workers don't seem to care about doing their job properly

Canada Post xpresspost next day delivery

First I will start off by mentioning having to jump through hoops to even file a complaint.
This isn't the 1st 2nd or 3rd time that my next day delivery hasn't been delivered for 3 to 4 days following the original eta. The only reason i'm even paying an additional cost to send mail is to have a tracking number as i'm sending usually a money order and needs to be to my destination by that guaranteed date, and the person i'm sending to is expecting his money to arrive the following day I send it.
This has become an ongoing issue almost monthly but now to different mailing addresses : first kingston on and now donnacona quebec (the sales associate made sure the postal code was within next day service area) i'm continuing to send through canada post as I have to stop there and purchase the money order, easier to get all my mailing needs completed in a canada post store.
Also everytime I try to request a refund for a service I paid for and didn't receive some issue arrises I get so get up and defeated to not bother trying again. I'm continually paying $13.25 ontop of paying $7.50 for the money order in addition to the money i'm trying to send to not have my envelope arrive next day. I enter all info required on refund form and everytime the website claims i'm requesting prior to the actual delivery date which is not accurate.
I've kept the auto response emails from each refund i've tried to receive and will compete refund form again after this email.
Purchased xpresspost wed oct 30th/2019 at 12:45pm hours prior to cut off time, to have xpresspost delivered to its destination thurs oct 31st/2019, when checking the tracking info it's stating mon nov 4th/2019 is when it's actually being delivered.
I seriously hope that whoever is reading this email can understand my frustration with the entire transaction from beginning to end. I cannot be the only person this keeps happening to regularily.
If not for the sheer convenience I would have gave my money to purolator who can actually guarantee next day delivery, which I will be doing every month from now on so that my husband gets the money he needs by the time he needs it. He is. Currently incarcerated and the money order I send each month he uses to add money to his calling card so we're able to speak daily (money is added by a certain day every month if missed cannot add money till the next month), for him to purchase hygiene products from commisary but this month was a little different a for him. To purchase his christmas bag (goodies for xmas) the money had to be in his account by nov 2nd at 8am which guess what... He missed the deadline for that along with phone card and hygeine products from 20th of nov till dec 20th. That's an eternity to ppl locked away especially the lack of communication they now no longer have with their loved ones and other things too.
I really just want to be given a solution to this problem so I can keep using canada posts services and have my xpresspost delivered when it's suppose to. I hate letting my husband down with things that are outta my control constantly, when i'm paid twice a month and can only send money at the end of the month.

I look forward to hearing from someone about this issue

Canada Post parcel not delivered to my door, a signature was required & paid for this service

Waiting for parcel to be delivered to my door, in tracking my parcel online thru canada post site, it stated it was out for delivery, but later it said notification was left, this was left in the community mailbox, this parcel required a signature & was to be delivered to my door, no attempt was made by canada post to deliver the parcel to my door, instead it was left at a postal outlet. This is not the service I paid for, when talking to canada post they always put the blame on either the sender or receiver, canada post will never admit they made a mistake & they will never refund any funds, this is the third time canada post has lost or not delivered my mail. Extremely poor service & rude personal in postal outlets.

I am unhappy with Canada Post because the info I was provided was incorrect. I understood that when I bought a flat rate box, the recipient would have to sign for it. Not true when I went to mail the box. I was not even allowed to make the request. because of some silly rule. Why can't I find a list of scenarios and rules that are simple to understand? I have been wandering all over your web site and and could not find what options I have to use to keep my packages away from porch pirates. what I am looking for is a table that shows me my options, eg. what packages can be insured, which ones that requires signature, etc. I am more interested in getting my package securely to my intended recipient than how much I have to pay. In general It is unfortunate that KISS principle no longer exists in our cyber world

Canada Post mail forwarding services

New Complaint about Canada Post,

I purchased Mail Forwarding service from Canada Post for 1 full year on Sept 15, 2019 to Sept 14, 2020 and the service has been working fine. I have been using Mail Forwarding services for a few years years in the past and I used to be able to change the delivery address in the past during the middle of the service year via online. Now Canada Post has upgraded their websites and now this option of changing the delivery address in no longer there, so I called customer service to notify them to change the delivery address to a new address. They advised me that they no longer allow this and if I want to change the Mail Forwarding service to a new address, I would have to cancel the existing service and purchase a new Mail Forwarding Service contract. They would not reimburse me for the 9 months still remaining on the paid service! So essentially Canada Post is now stealing money from people for services that they do not complete. I advised them of essentially stealing from customers and the customer service agent just said "This is the new policy and we can't help you" . So I asked to speak with a manager and they put me on hold for 20 min and then the phone just hung up. I called back to Customer service to speak to a different agent and this time he understood my problem but still did not do anything about it, I again asked to speak to a manager, on hold again for 15 min and they hung up. Is this how Canada Post customer service is working now, just hanging up on customers without resolving the issue.
If they were to reimburse me for the difference of the pre-paid service I paid for then I would be ok, but instead they said that we could not longer make changes during the term and that I would have to cancel the service and not get reimbursed, I call this stealing. I can't believe they are getting away with this. I am going to post this complaint everywhere I can so that people are aware of the tactics Canada Post is going to, to steal your money!

Canada Post mail delivery or not

I realize I am wasting my time but it is raining out. At this moment there is a pkg in my mail box at my house 108A York road Guelph N1E3E6 address on pkg is 108 Toronto Street Guelph it will stay there until you pick it up. My son lives with me same last name as mine and same address but his mail goes to 108B (the basement apartment) and that fella keeps it for a while. The fellow that moved out of 108B left in August I still get his mail, yes he did arrange for forwarding his mail but we know how that works or doesn't. I get mail from all address the ones that are addressed to 110 York road I delivery, you are welcome. In the future can I have a mail person who can read and cares about the job. Thank goodness you can send Xmas cards on line. Last Xmas my son needed his birth certificate me ex (not a happy camper) told me to send it express mail...so I paid dearly for overnight delivery. Later to find out that overnight delivery doesn't happen in holiday seasons and that the truck broke twice so getting yelled at once again by Ex. Canada Post is a pathetic business and your time is running out, no one uses Canada Post anymore you are unreliable.

Canada Post precision targeting

The canada post products are so user unfriendly and has a lot of technical issues. I tried to using this precision targeting tool and all it does is lead to on a wild goose chase. Once I got to the correct site, went through all the steps and tried to pay then its would not accept my credit card (but the payment still went through). The next day I called customer service they directed me to technical support which kept me waiting for 30 mins on hold, I just hung up because it took too long. This is why I hate using canada post because it is so user unfriendly and definitely lack customer service.

Canada Post carrier services

A Canada Post Carrier was observed on homeowner surveillance camera walking across the front lawn at 7568 St. Kevin Place, Prince George, BC V2N 4L3. The lawn is being damaged by continual crossing, and is under remedial care at the moment in anticipation of Winter. It has been formally requested, in the past, that the carrier NOT use the lawn as a walkway, with one previous complaint filed via telephone.

Lawn is protected in Spring/Summer months by a motion sensor sprinkler system. This system has been disabled pending freeze-up. It is distressing and disappointing that the carrier continually chooses to disrespect the homeowners' request that they use available walkways and the street vs. crossing on, and damaging, the lawn as their egress.

Please address this with the Carrier(s) assigned to this delivery route and restate the request that the Carrier STAY OFF THE LAWN.

Canada Post delivery person

On October 15th Canada Post put a delivery notice on my door. I opened the door just as she was going back to her vehical and said to her "hello, you didnt ring my door bell" she said I know. I asked if she had my package and she said "no she didnt" and she said the instructions are on the notice and drove away. I have this all recorded on my doorbell cameral. I thought that was strange she didnt have my packged but I couldnt pick up the package until Thursday after 1pm. I went to my post office and they said she would have had the parcel with her and she should have taken it out of her vechical. I'm confused and did she have my package or not.

Canada Post no delivery attempt made

I received a card in the mail today for a parcel pickup tomorrow.

I don't understand this as there are two people here and there was no knock on the door!

This isn't the first time this has happened either.

My address is 102-2609 King St. E., Hamilton, Ont. L8K1Y4

Please address with the delivery person. I don't know if it was the usual delivery person.
