Canada Post picking up a parcel at a Postal Outlet

I was not allowed to pick up my parcel which had been delivered to my home address when I was not home. I went to the Postal Outlet (about two miles away) and I could not retrieve because I no longer possess a photo ID. I no longer drive and my new Health Card does not include a photo. I had plenty of other ID but still was told she would be fired if she gave me the parcel without a photo ID. I am 83 years old and at this time do not need a photo ID for any other reason than picking up parcels at your Postal Outlets. It is time for some trust from a senior who is quite capable of producing verified ID. I will in future have my parcels delivered to my church when no ID is required. My son among others told me when they are not home, the parcel is just left on the porch. Because I live in an apt. parcels are not allowed to be delivered to a neighbour in my stead? This is the meanest thing the P.O. does. Also, two months ago I sent two important letters and they as of this date have never been received.

Canada Post ruined package. marked do not fold. stuffed in mailbox... many folds.

I received a magazine from the U.K. yesterday. It was a pre order that I ordered 5 months ago. It was very valuable and was a signed copy. Now it is worhless. It was stuffed in my mailbox, bent and folded ...and it was so jammed in I could hardly get it out.
I have the large Canada Post mail box that are used for packages that the mail man did not use...Why?
Do your post men know how to read...when it clearly says ...Do Not Fold...as the pics show.
I would like some action taken...

Canada Post parcel delivery

The attached photo is pretty self-explanatory, I mailed out a parcel to Calgary, Ab from Halifax, NS on July 16th. I purchased the Canada Post flat rate box and had it packed, sealed & addressed at the Scotia Square PO. Ever since it has been in a perpetual loop between Montreal & Halifax. I have contacted their customer service line 2 times and have asked for someone to call me back but have heard nothing. I also stopped in the Scotia Square PO and showed them what was happening, he phoned the depo and told me they would call me back shortly. Crickets.
Still the loop continues since my first contact on June 22nd.

Catch the parcel during one of these loops & send it overnight delivery and at this point I want a full refund.

Canada Post mail delivery

Every two weeks six pay cheques are mailed from gander NL, A1V 1W5 to South Brook nl A0J 1S0. Most weeks they arrive on wednesday or thursday. Occasionally one or two will go missing and not arrive until friday or the following monday. Could you explain how this can happen. My one employee gets very upset when his pay is delayed. It happens to him mostly. The frequency is about every three months.

I did and postal clerk place in their outgoing slot. The card was sent to 32980 Cameron Street, Mission, BC, V2V 6X5, on 2 July 2019. This is 21 JUl 2019 and it didn't arrive.

Just to Note My daughter who lives at the above mentioned address, has had 2 other Special occasion card go missing in the last year. A problem with Mission Postal Distribution Center ?

Canada Post staffing of canada post outlet, port alberni, bc

I visited the Canada Post outlet in the Shoppers' Drug Mart at 3717 10th Avenue, Port Alberni, BC today to return a package and found the outlet closed in the middle of the afternoon as the staff was 'on a break'.
This is unacceptable. Hours are posted both in the store window and at the outlet. They do not say, 'when convenient'. If this store cannot keep enough staff on to run one till at the front of the store and one postal outlet, they should not have the postal outlet.
During the 15 minutes I waited, I saw 4 other people come in to do business with the post office and leave in disgust. I finally left, dragging the large and unwieldy package out of the store and into my car and drove to the main post office on the edge of town (an unnecessary trip wasting both my time and my gas).
This is NOT how you run a business, especially one representing a public service supported by taxpayer dollars.

Canada Post alleged non existent address

On May 25, 2019, a friend in the US sent me a letter. On July 17, 2019, he received the letter, which was returned with a sticker stating that the address was non existent.

See attached jpeg for the address and sticker. The address is correct in all respects.

The desired resolution is for Canada Post to hold the person, him/her, responsible and be reprimanded.

Also, Canada Post should apologize. It is no wonder that people, more and more, are going to electronic mail.

I would also like a response from Canada Post as to the action they have taken.

This Canada Post pick-up location offers consistently poor service due to language comprehension difficulties, and more. Every time I get a parcel dropped off at this location it is an unpleasant experience. Canada Post canada post not delivering to my house and leaving a card instead.

Again, Canada Post just erks me to no end. They are so lazy. It's time for Government to get red of the Canada Post completely and let the private sector look after it. The only reason I have it delivered is so I don't have to get it and drag it home. I can't believe this though. I bought from London Drugs Langley and they happen to be my post office outlet is also there. Then I get a card saying to pick up my parcels at London drugs. If I don't want the delivered I would have gone there myself and bought the items. Gee... Anyways what ever the reason is they can keep it and return the items. I have had it with the BS. When I use amazon not only do I get it faster, they always bring it to the door. Rain or shine. Unlike Canada post. If you don't want to do the work get another job and let the people who want to work take that one!

Canada Post regular mail

I live at 1107 McConachie Blvd, Edmonton AB. This is an apartment building

My boyfriend and I order large parcels on a regular basis and until recently, have always had the postal employee, (a gentleman whose service was exemplary) page our apartment number and then we would go down to get our package.

My complaint is in regards to a new postal employee who has been delivering mail to my building for close to a month now. Several times now, when our packages came in, she didn't try calling but instead left a notice for our package in our mailbox or WORSE, left these expensive items in hallway where we've had them stolen in the past.

We were home each time to receive package but this lady did not attempt to contact us.

In addition, when she went into building today to drop packages off at people's doors, she left a whole bunch of mailboxes open, where anyone could've grabbed my mail.

There has been a noticeable change in our service as of the last month.

Canada Post letters having correct typed mailing address being sent back to sender

We have experienced times where mail we have been told has been forwarded to us has not arrived. At times these are cheques, which as a charitable organization is our lifeline.

Just yesterday, July 08th, we received a call from a donor whose letter (containing a contribution) was sent back to them with a yellow Moved Sticker - Address unknown was put on the envelope. They also informed us that their March contribution was never cashed, this being as it was not delivered to us.

We confirmed that our correct address was typed on the letter, and there should have been no issue.

Please inform me how we can deal with this so it does not occur again.

John Toth

Canada Post delivery service

Since moving to Cheadle 1.5 years ago I have had nothing but ongoing issues with Canada Post mis-deliverying our mail on a regular basis.

We missed an important government deadline because a piece of mail arrived 2 months late. Our packages go missing and are mis-delivered on a regular basis.

I have numerous ticket numbers for issues over the past 18 months and nothing is being done to improve this situation. I do everything in my power to not ship anything through Canada Post. Being that I am a Supply Chain manager I hope you realize how much $ this actually costs you :) I will support the most foreign company I can find before I will give them a dime of my/company money but am forced to use them for mail and the odd package. The worst part is there are no repercussions because no one at Canada Post cares and there is no one to hold them in line.

Keep wanting more money and keep striking but you can't even perform the basics of your job which is getting my mail and parcels to me in the time promised (which every other courier company in the world seems to be able to do just fine and when they do make a mistake they make it right instead of your customer service)

I highly doubt anything will be done with this, you aren't interested in improving your service, just whining that we should pay you more to not deliver our stuff. It's a disgrace that you have Canada in your name.

Canada Post

seriously, we are the customers of Canada Post, we have to pay extreme shipping charges and then when they mess up they will offer an "we are sorry" and nothing else.
and because Canada post is basically the only company that deals with this stuff we are not "customers" but "victims" of their system.
complaining... i have done that, by phone.. with Canada post.. last time my parcel got delivered to my neighbour.. 3 days later i received a check from my company for fuel expenditure.. and the envelope had been opened... another envelope had been torn in half..

and that was after i complained about the postal worker seeming inability to differentiate between numbers.

Canada Post driver on the road

license plate: AT-56911
On Danforth AVE heading east towards Playter BLVD
Driver heading east on Danforth was driving recklessly. Almost hit my car from the SIDE because they failed to yield to traffic merging in from a closing lane; literally to get ONE car ahead, she sped up to a dangerous speed and slammed on her breaks right beside me car.
The driver was showing me obscene hand gestures. (Such as shrugging and following it up with flashing me the finger)And coming super close to my bumper as we were nearing Playter BLD. The driver attempted to drive around me, on the westbound traffic lane onto on coming traffic as well to go around me so that she can make a left turn before me on to Playter blvd. If I was as aggressive as she was, I could've not let her back into the proper side of the road and in which case she would have caused a road closing accident on one of the most busiest streets in the GTA (east Bloor line).
As she was turning left on to Playter from Danforth, I snapped a picture of her license plates and yelled out my window that I will be reporting her to Canada Post. To which she replied with sticking her finger out the window at me.
I suggest this person is relieved of their position immediately. This is a prime reason why most people go with privatized carriers instead of Canada post... even though it's free. The employees don't take any pride in their work and it shows with the drivers I encounter each experience.
