Camping World Employees customer service

June 19 2020 on friday from 3:40pm to 4:24pm I went in to get some chairs that I saw online for father's day. I asked a guy (employee) about the chairs he responds with "I don't know, asked him about the ordering process" I don't know, asked him how long will it take for order to come in"I don't know". Useless! I went to look at chairs myself, so looking at chairs I was shot confused on prices, so I figure it out, meanwhile employees walking not bothering to help. Then the reclining chair wasn't reclining so I go ask again the cashier for help, she comes, but wasn't really helpful almost like she wanted to get back to just stand behind the register. I keep trying to figure the chair out, so I decided to ask the cashier again for help on how long the chairs will take if I ordered them still no help. It just seems to me the way these workers are here that they don't like their job. They look miserable even the way they talk. This is why you have so much bad reviews "your employees". We spend a lot of money in our rv, camping stuff, service to get this kind of response from you. Very disappointed.

Camping World Poorly trained repair personal and trying to upsell you on service you dont need

Took my Rookwood fith wheel into Camperworld in Pooler Georgia Jan 1, 2020. No battery power to the main fuse panel. Service manager insisted I needed a new inverter. I said there was no power to the inverter and that could not be the problem. They removed my capture plate on my sliding hitch and try to pull the unit into their service bay with a tow motor. However the brakes were looked and they cut my brake release cable instead of hooking up a power source.
The problem was a reset switch under the fith wheel arm.
They charged me $ 188 to fix the brake and manually reset the switch. When hooking up the trailer to the truck I did not notice that the capture plate had not been re installed. The hitch spun around and went right through the tail gate of the truck and I am looking at $ 3, 000 in damages. Campers world position is that it is my responsiblity to insure that everything is in place before hooking up the fith wheel. I say that's BS. As Jay Leno says when I have a problem Itake it to the professionals, thats what they do. These guys are totally incompetent. I would would recommend that no one go there for any service work.

Camping World service department and repairs on rv still under warranty, not even a year old.

We purchased a 2018 Keystone Laredo 5th Wheel at the end of April 2019. We have had some problems with the unit. The latest problem is the slide out is leaking and Camping World where it was purchased will not return our phone calls so we can be directed as to what to do to solve this issue. The RV has been leveled and that did not fix the problem. We have made several calls to Camping World in Bossier City and they always tell us everyone is in a meeting and they will call me back. I have asked to speak to management, the owner anyone that could help us. We spent $62, 000.00 on this unit and I just want to have it fixed like anyone else that spends that kind of money. The Finance Manager gave us his number when we bought the unit and told us to call if any problems and now he has told my husband not to call him again.
This is not our first time to have problems from this business. We had purchased a 32 Foot Forest River Crusader and the only place that ever did service was at Camping World in Bossier City and the unit was in the shop eight times for a leak in the roof and it was never repaired. We finally traded it in and bought this one and now we are experiencing problems and only want someone to help us fix this problem.
I am a traveling nurse and this is my only means to live in and they have made comments that they are not made to live in. I see people living in these RV's everyday.
All I want is for someone to please call us and make this right.

Camping World thor windsport 35c, 2017 model

Since the fall of 2016, when we bought the RV we have had problems... We have had in your repair off and on a lot more than we use it. We bought it under the assumption we were going to use it more than we had. We called to train it in on consignment. We were told twice we would be given $60 K. We brought it in last Saturday to do this. My wife made a loan against her 401k to pay off balance. We were not able to get an answer... we were told they would have an answer on Monday. I called off and on all day Monday... finally got an answer... Now on Saturday they were going to have to put $5000 in repairs, $3000 for a new roof for leaks... Our roof did not leak. We have kept normal maintenance since we got this RV.. It was a surprise that it was going to cost this much for all of the sudden repairs.. Well finally aft calling all day bothering Camping World, I got the manager back in the phone and he said they would only give us $37000 for our RV... Now we are going to have to come up with another $23000. It ridiculous. We can't pay this! We are being taking advantage of.. We need help. We saw your sign as we walked in the door " If your not happy, I'm not happy. I am 65 and get up with people. Taking advantage of us. We need help before we get legal advice... I have voice recording of your repair department for the many months we had it in the shop before we could even use it.. there is a defect in the sewer system... the air has gone. The slide has been fixed twice for leaks and it stills leaks today. The auto level system still don't work after they said they fixed... Camping World does not stand behind their products. I want Vamping World to stand up and pay us what they told us.

Camping World work not completed after having coach for over 5 months

I will forewarn you now that this a rather lengthy due to the fact that our nightmare experience with Camping World is in its 5th month and STILL not over yet. We purchased a 2015 Thor Miramar 34.3 brand new from Camping World of Bartow and it has spent more time in the shop at Camping World than we've been able to use it. Our latest experience with Camping World of Tampa began on Saturday, July 13th 2019 when we brought our coach in to have an non-functioning water pump looked at, our front windshield inspected for leaks and the furniture inside the coach repaired. The catalyst to this nightmarish incident was the furniture in the coach, so I will focus mainly on that.

During our last vacation with the coach, which was over Memorial Day weekend, we noticed that the vinyl on the sofa, the dinette and both captain chairs had begun to deteriorate and flake off. Large patches of material continued to flake off on the cushions as well as the foot boards of the furniture. We contacted Camping World because we had purchased the extended warranty which partially covered the defective manufacturing of these items. We spoke with Jerry Henrich, our service rep, who requested that we bring the unit in on Saturday, July 13th for servicing. We did as was requested of us and Jerry inspected, took pictures of the furniture and when we questioned as to if they would be able to match the color of the current vinyl, Jerry stated that it would not be a problem since the coach is still relatively new. We explained to Jerry that we had a trip planned over Labor Day weekend in September and would like the coach back before that time and he confirmed that it would be completed well before that date.

Several weeks went by and, after not hearing from Jerry, we called Camping World of Tampa. Each time we called, Jerry was either "busy with another customer", "not in today" or simply didn't answer the phone. We left multiple messages which went unanswered for several more weeks. Finally, we were able to actually speak with Jerry who informed us that the water pump had been replaced, the vinyl fabric had been replaced and that the coach was ready for pick up. This was approximately one week prior to our September trip. When we arrived at Camping World, we went out to inspect the work completed and were horrified to see what had become of our coach. The material used was nowhere close to what had been promised nor what was in the coach previously. It was a dark chocolate brown and it was everywhere. When we asked Jerry why this was done, his response was that this was the material selected by us. We explained to Jerry that no one from Camping World ever contacted us to advise us of this change and that neither of us came into Camping World to sign the paperwork approving it. Jerry quickly stated that he would contact the vendor who did the work and see what happened and what can be done to correct the problem.

Also during this inspection, the alarm for the automatic leveling unit was beeping and showing "low battery" on the display. Jerry said that he would have a tech check it out and get back with us. Several more days went by and once again, our calls to get an update as to when our coach would be ready went unanswered. As we neared the day we were supposed to leave for our Labor Day vacation, we tried one last time to speak to Jerry but were unsuccessful and we were forced to cancel our vacation trip. We finally received a call back the following week and were told that the vinyl vendor was declining to do the work since the original work was approved.

Several months went by and each time we tried to get an update on our coach, we were told by Jerry that Dr. Vinyl wasn't returning his calls and that they continue to give him the run-around. Frustrated and furious, we took matters into our own hands and called the corporate offices of the Dr. Vinyl chain. We explained to them what Jerry had told us and what we have experienced and we were told that they would be contacting the business' owner who would then call us back. The following day we received a call from Craig from Dr. Vinyl who explained that the work done was approved by Camping World and that he has been trying to call us, but Jerry kept declining to give him our phone number. We made arrangements with Craig to meet at Camping World to discuss this with Jerry and attempt to resolve the issue. Following this meeting, Dr. Vinyl agreed to remove the dark brown vinyl and replace it with the color selected by us and Jerry agreed to have the coach ready for pick up prior to our trip in December.

Now, this whole process took nearly 2 & 1/2 months and last week we were informed that our coach was finally ready for pick up. We confirmed with Jerry that the coach would be washed and detailed as he had originally promised due to the lengthy delay in returning our unit to us and he stated that it would be washed, detailed and the tires would be checked for the proper PSI well before we arrived to pick it up. Well, on Saturday December 21st we arrived to pick up the coach and it was NOT ready. The electronic leveling jacks were still alarming and would not deploy downward, the unit still showed "low battery/malfunction" on the display panel, the coach was filthy on the exterior with visible damage noted that was not previously noted on the walk-around inspection sheet when we arrived back in July and there was hydraulic fluid coating the bottom of the basement compartment that housed the leveling motor. There was also a large metal pipe sticking up out of the sink and none of the tires had been touched. Unfortunately Jerry happened to be on vacation at this time and the rep (Theresa) had no clue about any of the work that was supposed to have been completed nor why it had not been done. So, we could not take possession of the unit and now it appears that we may have to cancel another vacation because of the poor customer service provided by Camping World.

This matter isn't simply a job that is incomplete, but rather the ripple effect of what additional costs we have incurred because of Camping World's failures. We store our coach inside a metal garage that we rent on a monthly basis at Big Toys Storage in Thonotosassa and we have paid for the stall to sit empty for now 6 months at a cost of nearly $1500. We have canceled one vacation causing us to lose our deposit and now we may be forced to cancel our New Years trip since the deadline for canceling without penalty is 5 days prior to the day of arrival which would be this coming Friday. What makes this matter even more hurtful and frustrating is that our daughter is graduating high school this year and will be attending college in North Carolina, so this was going to be our last New Years trip together. We had planned for a week at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds which, if we don't have our coach ready by Monday, we will be forced to cancel.

We've attempted to contact Camping World corporate offices, but receive the same treatment of calls not being returned. I can say with 100% certainty that this has been the absolute worst experience that we have ever encountered with any business that we have ever dealt with. We've been lied to, the victim of falsification of paperwork, ignored and treated like we were an annoyance rather than a valued consumer. Our desired resolution to this nightmare would be the proper completion of the previously promised work without charges to us and the repair of the damage done to the coach by Camping World Tampa without charges to us.

Camping World service

Took 5th wheel in for repair on October 14 to repair air conditioner (same problem as the previous year), fantastic fan (installed by this location), and Black tank sprayer. Still no repairs done - waiting in insurance approval (extended warranty). Unit was winterized by us. They called and said water leaking out the bottom - tried to blame on us. We never had a leak issue - we said it probably was when you pressurized the tank. It is nearly impossible to talk to service. Do not return calls or emails. I am highly allergic to mold, so the water damage done by the company needs to be fully resolved. At this point no insurance approval yet and they have not figured out how to fix the air conditioning unit. The air conditioning freezes up, [censored] off on own and won't start sometimes. Replaced thermostat and relocated sensor last year but did not resolve the issue. The unit has been in service about a month and No end in sight. At this point, I do not trust that our unit will be properly repaired. This unit is only 2 years old!

Camping World service

Well at least marcus is humble... Marcusvip@campingworld.com... Are you kidding me? I would think that his customers are the vip's but not in camping world! We were basically called thieves to our faces after they tried to give is the wrong camper we bought! Their mistake and with the lack of customer service we were just pointed to a camper and when we went to hook up, they saw it was the wrong one and then we were in the wrong!? We bought it online, 6 hrs away, and with limited pics... We did not know... Same brand, length, color, so on but a salesman that wasnt even involved had to throw in his 2 cents and come by and say..."yeah that would not have been good getting stopped by the law and pulling a stolen trailer!" really? After you tried to give it to us after payment? We stole it? My wife and I that are on disability, in our 50's, walk with a cane... Our plan worked exactly! We were going to drive 6 hrs... Hope your staff pulled the wrong, much better trailer and then after you pointing us to it, giving us the keys, taking our money and telling us to hook up... That's when we would make our run for it! What part of that is the biggest joke I have heard in my lifetime? For the camping world staff... Its the entire thing! In fact maybe you probably think that you could pin the kennedy assassination on me too if you really believe that! Who knows... I like grassy knowles! Idiots. Then marcus the vip wont even respond to an email. All I wanted was an apology but he is probably to busy doing vip stuff to worry about the people that make it possible for him to think he is a vip! So my apologies camping world if I would have known a lowly, disabled thief like myself and my wife would have caused such a problem for you all I would have went somewhere else. I hope we didnt interrupt lunch or anything! Well this is useless as tits on a nun because camping world will just ignore it anyway but it was fun. After review... I dont recommended buying there unless you like being treated like shi%@!

Camping World service dept

We purchased a new Kodiak travel trailer on Aug 12th. We went 7 hrs from home, opened the canopy. Within hrs the right arm crumpled. We called the Asheville location, we brought it in to be replaced, under warranty. We were told to leave it and they will replace the awning and torn carpet along with repairing some other things. 2 weeks later we had to travel and needed the trailer, upon arrival, the awning nor carpet were never even requested yet. They told us to take the trailer and in a week it would be in. Well, we've called repeatedly, always put on hold or I'll call you back. Today when we called they haven't even talked to the warranty guy. I'm so upset, we purchased from camping world because we thought we would get superior service. That has been the opposite.
We need help.

Camping World service manager jason, and jeff

To whom it may concern.

We had an issue with Russ Dean RV.
Before C. W took over.
We have been to C. W Pasco three times before today.
So today Oct 01, 2019 we walked in the service dept. And literally were blown away at the treatment we recieved..
Janson Service manager proceeded to yell at us, in front of the whole service team, and all the customers in the service dept..
About a situation that happened at Russ Dean RV.in 2018
Concerning a bill that was not paid and supposedly written off.
Due to failing to fix the problem..
Jason told us all work from now on has to to paid upfront before any work can be done. (We were in C. W 3 time prior with no issues with payments)
He said he hated to black ball us from C. W but he would if he needed to.
Jason said we should have been sued.
When I asked why am I just hearing of this matter, we've been here three times prior. That's when Jeff (service person that used to work for Russ Dean.) said "I told him"
I asked why, you told us you would write off the balance owed.
Jason said "he doesn't have that authority"
Then why was I not contacted earlier, all our info was in the computer.
Jason said C. W had to pay our bill to Russ Dean out of there own pocket, again mentioning being sued..
We were totally shocked, degraded, and humiliated. At the treatment we recieved today from Camping World..
We have been customers of C. W for years, we have purchased ins. and other products, repair work, on countless occasions from C. W, we have never had a problem with C. W until today.
We are totally appalled at the whole situation.
Than to top it off we were charged $22.00 to look up at part number.
This is not acceptable behavior for anyone to have to go through..
The last pic (yellow paper) was what we had to pay for the repair that Russ Dean was supposed to have done.
Thank you for your time.

Just remembered.
Last appt. With C.W we asked service person Jared to check the seals on our fridge, because the fins in the fridge kept freezing up.
Jared came in and said everything was fine, after going home and defrosting the fridge (not the freezer) anyway it continues to freeze up, so we called Jared back at C.W pasco to look at it again he said nothing was wrong, so Melvin called him a liar, both sides of the fridge seals are cracked..
So today when we were at C.W. Jared was also mad at us but didnt day anything to us..

Camping World sales and finance

I went in to dealer 11Sep19 to purchase a RV. Salesman Angel Duran I have no problem with. He was very courteous and took a lot of time showing me RVs. Your finance Dept. On the other hand needs a lot of improvement. Joe Lanasa is rude and doesnt care about YOUR customers.
While I was there in the 11th, I was on the phone with my insurance company. He I interrupted me numerous times. I told he I would answer his questions when I got off the phone. Even my insurance agent commented on the rudeness he displayed.
I was told of 2 documents he needed. I provided them that day to the salesman, one of which was emailed to Mr. Lanasa.
Friday I spoke to Guillermo in the Sales office. He checked on my pending deal and told me they still needed the 2 documents. I explained Angel Duran had emailed one in my presence and took the other to run a copy.
Finally after numerous voicemails, I got in contact with Mr.Lanasa. Once again he was rude and very short with me. I felt like I wasn't the least bit important and I was wasting his time.
I'm a senior single female. I have short hair. I'm guessing Mr Lanasa thinks I'm a lesbian, because he's acts like he's in the good old boy club redneck club. I also got the feeling he thinks I'm incompetent to purchase an RV. I don't appreciateof the dog and pony act I'm getting.
I worked at that dealership when it first opened. I was the Warranty Administrator until I went to Jim and Denise and told them the other girl who they hired to help me was filing fraudulent claims and I was concerned. I work in warranty for over 30 years. Anyway they saw fit to fire me.
I know when I'm getting the runaround. And that's exactly what I'm getting.

Camping World thor ace

My 2017 Thor ACE has leaked since the day I bought it. Camping World has never fixed the issue and always blames the customer, even for a manufacturer's defect. It took a month to get a service appointment, then another month of waiting until the appointment. My motorhome has been in Camping World for 6 weeks and they haven't even looked at it and don't return phone calls. Three months now without using my 100k lemon. I would never recommend Camping World to anyone.

Camping World the way items are being rung up for purchase

I thought I purchased a 74.00 power cable, what I actually bought was a 43.00 power cable, a 29.00 membership and a 1.63 bucket. I was told they were giving away buckets. Cable did not work and only thing they would refund was the 43.00 cable. No refunds on memberships. I promise you I will never set foot in any of your stores again, ever. I will spend a large part of my camping trips describing your business and it will not be good. I am just glad you only got me for less than 100.00. You will not get another chance.

Camping World thor / freedom traveler

Bought MH in april and was excited about continuing our motorhoming adventures. We needed to downsize because our last MH was a 40 foot and we thought we would enjoy a smaller rig with my wife and I bnoth feeling comfortable driving.
We took on maiden voyage and had some minor problems with coach which service department documented and assured us they would take care of and we could be back out
They did not get all repairs done in less than 30 days and we had another trip to go on. After that trip we took the rig back to get 4 items done that still needed finishing along with 2 more serious items.. The dash consol came undone and it was dangerous for us to continue so we had to hire a contractor to secure for our 1500 mile trip back home, along with our awning completely breaking. We took the rig back in on June 23rd. we are still without our rig. Both Thor and Camping World are very poor at customer service and satisfaction from my point. They are great at point of sale but very poor at accountibility for themselves...Will never use again for anything!

Camping World repairs, theft and complacency and duration of repairs

I am writing with the hopes this will help others in making decisions concerning doing ANY business with Camping World. My husband had sideswiped a stop sign which scratched the whole side of our camper. Also, when he got it home, it fell off of the stabilizer bar and bent it. I wanted it fixed so we called another dealer in Jan of 2019 and they said it would be March before they could fix it. So we went to another. They gave us an estimate and also certified that our air conditioner was fine, because we had questions about it. I though the estimate was little high. so we then took it to Camping World beginning March 2019. BOY! What a mistake. I also wanted the top washed and sealed. Now this camper was new. We had just purchased it(2018) in May of 2018. We were told they would have no problem fixing it. We waited and we waited. Each time we called, they said they were waiting on parts. We Finally went to pick it up the first of June (THREE MONTHS later), the new decals were all wrinkled and warped from being sloppily applied, the roof did not even look clean AND they had dented the side with the fork lift. We were told that the decals were warped from sitting outside in the sun there at the dealership. WHAT a stupid response! We told them that was not acceptable. So here we go again! Oh "It will be ready in a short time". Ha Ha! We waited and waited. Communication being terrible, we called and called. Finally, we picked it up, took it home, only to discover the door frame was not properly finished from putting on a new panel, the sink leaked (which had not done previously) and the air conditioner no longer worked. Our sewer hose was missing and our hydraulic jack was gone. We take it back. We were told to expect it in 4 days. No communication. Finally, we were called mid July and told they would fix the air conditioner. So we wait and we wait. When I finally call the 3rd week of August I was told it was ready. NO ONE had called me. We go to pick it up and NOW the other side had been quite damaged by the fork lift AGAIN. This time, we told them they had to buy the whole camper. I told them I was getting a lawyer and I called the headquarters and spoke with the resolution manager Shawn. He and Susan were very nice. Camping World of Columbia SC signed the papers and I am STILL waiting for my check on August 30, 2019. Plus, I discovered another missing item from my storage.
WARNING Do not do business with CAMPING WORLD!

Camping World service agreements cancellations

We purchased a 2019 travel trailer from Camping World of North Charleston, SC in May 2019. We notified Camping World and the providers on May 23, 2019, in writing, of our intent to cancel the Travel Trailer Service Agreement, the Exterior/Interior Protection Plan and the Good Sam Tire & Wheel Service Contract. The dealership staff attitude turned dismissive toward us at that time.

We were notified on June 6, 2019 that the cancellations were approved. As of today, no refunds have been made to the lien holder bank. The contract requires Camping World to pay a certain amount each day beyond the initial refund amount for their delays. They are in breach of the contract and obviously could care less.

I recommend that anyone considering purchasing an RV to look elsewhere. Their customer service is horrible and I wish that we would have taken the advice of the people that have posted complaints. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from Camping world.

Camping World service

Re: Service appointment Feb 13, 2018 order # 85121
We stopped in to correct a black water tank fitting leak. I had previously located the leak. A drain pipe had become disconnected. I spoke with Susan Willett at the service desk. She was very pleasant. She explained that first it would be $145 to locate the problem . I questioned the $145 fee since I explained what the problem was. She talked with other service people to find out what the service code would be, which was 1.5 hrs labor to repair (to tighten a clamp). I explained again it is a pipe that has come loose and it required putting the pipe into the rubber fitting and tighten the hose clamp, a 1/2 hr job at the most. She explained that she had no control of the fee's. Leaving me very frustrated by being taken advantage of and being legally robbed! In addition there are charges of shipping and handling of $20.00 and $65.25 for shop supplies? Would you please explain those fee's. Our total bill $454.09 for this repair that was not repaired!

Feb 15, 2018 we are now in the Great Cyprus Park. There is a very strong urine smell around our RV. You can smell it 100's of feet down wind. This is very embarrassing! Reservations for this trip were made a year in advance so we are on a tight time schedule if we have to cancel we will be charged a fee. I called Camping World to speak to a service manager. I spoke with service manager Johnathan he knows of no one personally on the east coast that he can recommend for repair. If we get the repair done, send him the invoice and he will reimburse us. So we are on our own. My self and another camper blocked one side of the RV raising it 6" which allowed him to get underneath and see what was leaking. He found the cause a large rubber boot was loose and the clamp was not tight. Since then no leaking.

We only ask that you do an honest job at a fair price. My wife and I have been self employed all of our working careers owning several successful business's. Our business experience has taught us a good word travels slow but a bad experience travels fast. The RV community relies on others experiences when on the road.

Camping World new 2019 coleman 1805 camper-8/22/19

Dear Sirs:
We bought a new camper in January, 2019. Found it at Gander Outdoors in Augusta Ga, close to where we live. We were told we would have to go to Columbia, SC to do paperwork and pickup camper, since Augusta store didn't have a Finance or Service area set up yet.
We are new to camping, buying campers, and didn't check to be sure the paperwork on our new camper had the correct Vin number on it. Thought the dealership would verify all that. Got everything done and went home.
Went to local tag office with paperwork we were given and registered trailer and got new tag from that paperwork.in April got a call from Summer in Columbia that the VIN number (4YTD1802XKM936601) was incorrect on the paperwork we signed and she needed new paperwork done. She emailed it, we did it and mailed it back. It got lost in mail, so she sent it by Fedex and we signed again and returned it.
Once I got the correct Vin number (4YTD18022KM937239) off the new paperwork, I got the insurance with Good Sam corrected to show the correct vin. Now have been in contact with the Georgia Dept of Revenue, and they STILL haven't received the corrected paperwork from Columbia. They just say the title was returned to Columbia in April. My registration renewal still has the incorrect Vin on it, and I can't pay it timely (due two days ago) since it is incorrect.
Please intervene with Columbia on my behalf and get this fixed!
Sincerely,
Alyce Maurine Resch

Camping World dealership using every tactic they can to not refund the remainder of the good sams club seven year extended warrantees we paid cash for in 2017!

We sold our 2016 Jayco Greyhawk RV in April 2019 this year because my husband suffered a stroke and is no longer able to drive. I called them April 10th to ask what I needed to do to initiate the Ext. Warrantee refund and received an email with the cancellation forms attached. I filled them out and signed them and returned them to Camping World Oklahoma City. I emailed a few days later and asked what the timeline was for a refund. I was told via email by Justin that the forms had been sent and it would be 4 to 6 weeks to receive a check. Phone calls were never returned. It is now August and Justin has transferred to a Camping World in Richmond VA. I finally called Good Sams who informed me that my call was the first contact they had received regarding the warrantee cancellation request. No they had NOT received any paperwork. Then I emailed Justin at Camping World, OKC to find out what was going on. I was told that their finance person was on vacation so it would probably be next Friday when the check would be mailed. So, we waited, and waited. Another couple of weeks went by and I called Good Sam's again and they had not received the paperwork and still had not heard from Camping World OKC. (My contact had said he had called Good Sam's - He had Not and made yet another promise the check would be mailed ‘next week' ) Good Sams asked me to send in the forms with our signatures along with copies of all the emails sent between Justin at Camping World and myself. Once they received them they would send a request for Camping World OKC to sign the forms as their signatures were required for processing. It's been two weeks since that call to Good Sams. I'm calling them Monday for a status update. Good Sams said if they can't get Camping World to sign the forms they would send a letter to Corporate CAmping World. So I'm back to waiting but I am done waiting much longer for this to be resolved and CW OKC to refund our money.

Thursday, May 30th 2019 - Lance Gordin and I, Renata Lipinski, Co-bought a New 2019 Coleman Light LX 2155BH

Thursday, June 6th 2019 - We picked up our new camper. Awning was not ready nor was the camper. We waited 5 hours for everything to be completed. At that time we also asked for copies of all the paper work that was signed May 30th.

Thursday June 13th 2019 - Lance called Burt for status of the awning, still not in, asked for an order number, but nothing was provided. Burt said he would have to find out. We asked to receive a status call as to the awning, at least.

Tuesday June 18th 2019 - I called asked for Burt, all managers were unavailable, left message for him to call Me (Renata). He returned the call to Lanced at work instead, still no status on the awning.

I am writing in regards to a replacement awning for the above travel trailer, from the Bowling Green, KY., Camping World / Gander Mountain.
This was purchased on 05-30-19 and noticed the awning / canopy was torn while doing the walk around with Bert ( Sales ) and Matt ( Service Tech ).
Both agreed, along with myself that this should be fixed before taking delivery of camper on 06-06-19. I have been in contact with Bert many times and he has been having trouble with the service department on getting a replacement.
I have called numerous times to Meggan Wallace and have gotten nowhere, if / when or even if this was ordered.
I called today, 06-19-19 twice, once @ 1100 spoke with receptionist and again @ 1600 with no answer.
This is not a warranty issue, it is damage from the location of purchase prior to delivery
It is now going on 4 weeks, 3 weeks since delivery and still have a torn awning and NO results
Please feel free to call me at [protected] or Renata Lipinski at [protected]
Respectfully
Lance A. Gordin

Wednesday June 19 2019 - 11:00am - Lance called, no answer in Service. Called for Meggan, left message with Receptionist Tina Thomas

Wednesday June 19 2019 - Called 6:36 pm, requested Meggan Wallace, Service Advisor, she was off. Spoke with Seth Sprouse, Service Advisor also, explained situation to him. He advised me he would look into missing awning and return with a status.

Thursday June 20 2019 - 11:00am - Lance left message to Meggan with recep. No answer in the Service Dept.

Thursday June 20 2019 - 12:12pm - Preston Martin, General Manager, called regarding awning, he stated he would research and call back with details.

Thursday June 20 2019 - 6:45pm - Called, talked with Mike, Service Manager, explained awning situation to him. He advised would research and call back with details. 9:00pm: - Mike called back; he still needed time to research missing awning and would call back.

Wednesday July 3 2019 - 5:00pm - Lance called, spoke to Seth Sprouse in Service about awning requesting status. Seth stated he would have to research and would call back. This is the second conversation regarding awning with Seth. He did not call back.

Tuesday July 7 2019 - 11:30am - Lance call, spoke to Meggan. She advised awning order was sent to Keystone with email to be completed on 7-17-19 and 2nd day air to Camping World 7-19-19. She would call to set up a time when awning would be installed on our camper. Lance and I were on vacation during this time July 11 - July 18, it was our first vacation in our new camper with a torn awning. We did not receive any call back from Camping World.

Tuesday July 30 2019 - 4:00pm - Called Camping World, left message for Meggan. 4:30pm - Tim Sumner, New Service Manager, called. Advised fabric for awning was there and we could set up a time to have it installed. Set up installation time for Friday Aug 2 2019. Greg Brieschke was to travel to Bardstown.

Wednesday July 31 2019 - 6:45pm - Tim Sumner called, advised sadly fabric disappeared. He stated is was there yesterday, but no longer in warehouse. He submitted a new order and would try and have is expedited. I asked for the order number and I would call Keystone to have it overnight to my address. The we could reschedule an installation time. Tim would not provide order information, stated he would himself call Keystone and have it expedited, and he would call me back.

As of today, Aug 5 2019, neither Lance nor I have not received a call back from anyone at Camping World regarding our awning since last Wednesday. The Customer Service at Camping World is horrible. We have a very hard time getting return calls and our new awning. We feel that they made the sale of the camper and now we don't matter at all. It's been now 2 months. We bought a brand-new camper with a damaged awning in which we just want fixed. I will also be filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Respectfully,
Renata Lipinski
