California Department of Motor Vehicles [CA DMV] - office hours

On April 1 website states the field office is open https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/fo/offices/fieldoffice?number=503 and on a side menu the last link on left states State Holidays https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/about/holidays where you can see that April 1 is not working day for DMV. This information is notclear as I go the impression that the office is open today and like many others I met at the address of the office I was not able to realize that is closed until I showed up at the address. Need to reflect hours of operations and state holidays clearly on the Office Hours webpage an not only on the State Holidays page. It is confusing and not clear to customers.
