On March 3, 2020 my husband went shopping at this store. He was buying 3 - 18pks of eggs priced at $5.28. He told the cashier that he was price matching with Foodland for 3.49. The cashier told him that Foodland was too far away to price match with. Foodland is located at 728 Anderson St, Whitby, Ontario. He told the cashier that price matching did not have a stipulation of where the other store was located other than it should be in the same province. She disagreed and refused to price match the eggs. A full cart of groceries were left behind.
This is not the first incident we have had with this store, however, this is the last time we will be shopping there.
