I downloaded this app probably went on it twice and deleted it. I believe it to be fake and useless but then you can't cancel your subscription or get intouch with anyone and then I receive a letter through the door off CMS global collection service that I owe C-Date 188, 49 EUR! For 3month subscription that I haven't subscribed too! It's absolute joke this website needs shut down!

On the 14th. October 2020 c-date.com posted a charge to my credit card of £GB 119.70. I gave no authorisation for this charge and I have no knowledge of any contract/agreement with the company. I sent an email to "cs@c-date.com", and "service@c-date.com" but they could not be delivered. How do I contact c-date.com directly to resolve this issue? How do I secure reimbursement of the above charge wrongly made?

I am trying to delete my account on c-date dating site but the system will not let me, please delete my account. My contact ID 4N5CRF22 name Ben, I have already instructed my bank to stop all payment to c-date.

PLEASE DELETE MY ACCONT.

They have the worst cancellation requirements ever. Their so-called link to a pdf fails every time. Having emailed a cancellation request explaining that the link doesn't work and requesting cancellation I'm now getting demands for further payments of almost €120 and threats of collection agencies.

I do not owe this money... I cancelled in good time via email. This harassment needs to stop.

This site is the biggest scam I have ever seen I really wish I hadn't ever found it,
And it really needs to be removed.

I have tried repeatedly to cancel my account with C Date as it does not work and I no longer have any need of it. Despite e-mailing and faxing I have not been able to access the cancellation form nd have not been sent it despite requests. Having signed up for the initial 1 month period, I was shocked to find £119.70 about to be withdrawn from my bank account, despite my attempts to cancel. I have contacted my bank to block all future payments, sent yet more unanswered e-mails and begun seeking legal advice. I see they post messages on here and am hoping they will respond to this. This is a disgraceful practice and I want to stop money being stolen from my account like this.

I have tried to cancel my membership which I did not want faxed and emailed cancellation form and did not tick any box's for continued subscription The website informs me that I cannot change my membership (I want to cancel) as my payment hasn't been processed! Looking at my bank statement the payment has clearly been made! I don't wish to use the site, it is full of fake profiles, with scammers looking to lure people away to other sites to take advantage of them. On top of this the profiles are not of local individuals (unless you view the whole of UK as local!). I am abhorred that the website doesn't facilitate cancellation of membership, due to a scandalous and erroneous statement that you payment hasn't been processed! And it doesn't have a contact email option to write to them.
Now I have a letter from cms (debt collection) for £186.14 euros for a service I didn't use

the company C-date have escalated a claim reffrence me not wanting to use there site or services anymore! i signed up for a one month trial and then did not use it again... since then they tried to take more payments from me which i then refused to let them take as i do not wish to use there services. this has resulted in me having a letter sent through from cms which was received today! this is unlawthaw and a complete scam! how can they chase you for money from a subscription that should not be active? its mental! this site needs to be closed down!

Short story. So during lockdown I was feeling really lonely so I tried venturing into the online dating scene and came across c-date. Never heard of it before but I thought I'd try it. Gave up on it less than half an hour into using it. Bearing in mind this was in May 2020. I completely forgot about the website until October 2020 when I checked my bank balance and realised I had been billed £119.70! £119.70 for a service I really didn't LIKE and a service I don't EVEN USE FOUR MONTHS LATER! They gave me no option to cancel on my device either so basically I've been robbed of £120. I'm a uni student I shouldn't be getting charged this amount for a dating site! All I wanna know is if I can get it back, I feel like I've been punished for my feelings of isolation that I can't help.

I paid for the 1 month service and tried to cancel my membership after a few days. You have to go through hoops to try and cancel anything from the site and you end up back at the same place. I have read lots of people who have had the same issue. Now I have been billed £119.70 without my consent. Give me my refund or I will take it further. This is totally unacceptable.

I want to cancel my membership and I should not have to rely on post. I will NOT be paying for a service I don't want especially when what is advertised is a complete lie. It's full of fake profiles and I'm not interested in continuing to pay. Please sort this immediately, I do not want to be charged any more money for this service. I can't even get in touch with the company via email of phone!

I joined this site for a trial of one month to my knowledge. Then they continued to charge me. My credit card ran out so they chased me. There was no way to cancel online which i believe breaches online services and is why i do not feel it is fair that now i have been sent a threatening letter giving me literally days to pay 200.95 euros.
Not only this i googled the site and it has similar reviews and complaints about this and heard it was a scam which is why i did not pay. Please advise

When I was trying to make a payment for the c-date subscription for 1 month, my phone screen froze and I found that the subscription has been changed to the 6 month subscription. I lost my money about sgd 200 + and I can't cancel it. Will you help me to change it and return the funds back. Please? Thank you so much! I just wanna have a one month subscription but it change to six month, and now I am so frustrated as I don't have the money to support my daily life.

Against my better judgement I signed up to this site for a trial period paying by my debit card £2.99 (or so I thought!). Look at the site it was soon apparent to me that it was not what I expected and I promptly decided it was not for me. I went to "My Settings" to cancel my subscription. Worryingly there is no option to cancel, the wording saying that "the account setting will be visible in a few days, once payment has been processed" and to "check back later". My card was charged with £11.96 (not £2.99) and 5 days later I still see no option to cancel in "My Settings". Their General Terms and Conditions inform that the cancellation process must be done via an online form - of which there is no link to. I've emailed customer services of my wish to cancel and am waiting for their prompt reply. Meanwhile I have informed my bank (a phone call to card services followed by formally registering the issue with them by completing an online form giving full details) to cancel any "automatic" payments to them that may occur in the future.

I never subscribed to C-date and know incurred debts. Received a letter today stating pay by 17/09/20 or incur more costs! There is not an English speaking person to talk too and only a fax number. How can you sort this out and I'm certainly not paying therefore you can contact CMS global management services and inform them there is NO debt to be collected. You can also delete me from your list!

I sent the form in a letter to cancel my subscription months ago, yet have noticed i'm still being charged for the service. This is fruad! This must stop, stop taking the payments and just cancel the membership. I am still being charged the £119 fee.

This is illegal as I have canceled and you have not processed this. This website is an absolute joke full of fake profiles.

The process to cancel membership requires you to either SEND A LETTER asking to cancel your membership OR
Write a letter, print it, scan it and FAX it to a number.
This is obviously how a legitimate company does business?
I contacted my bank to cancel the payment and they gladly did. Now receiving letters from a debt collection company in Germany demanding EUR 76.60.
I reported the website to UK Fraud, although they couldn't class it as fraud its clear that this company operates in a way that de-frauds people of money, by purposely making the cancellation process a lot more difficult than it needs to be. The website is terrible with fake profiles, plus its based out of Luxembourg, to avoid tax.

Can someone let me know if they have gone further than just send an automated letter?
