Protea Metering is not forthcoming company at all. I moved to new flat and paid all my money as deposit, I had no money left to pay electric bill so I called Protea and explained them my situation. Instead of giving me couple of week time they’ve disconnected electricity straight away. I’m very disappointed.

My 1st months bill with the smart meter was about 50% higher. Then the 2nd months bill was more than double the usual bill for that time of the year. When I called SMUD they said it was because of the cold days and the holiday lights. They didn't ask if I installed holiday lights - they just stated that was one of the reasons my bill was so high. Jay did not show up for a service appointment I made days prior and he confirmed. I cannot reccomend this person for pinball maintenance as a result. I have not received refund monies for months after having returned the product with an RMA that the company issued. I have not been paid as a distributor of Xedia/Xium for over 6 months.
