I hope this message finds you well. I recently noticed a deduction of 314.99 DHS from my account for my Yupp subscription under the username Haridas S Nair. I had subscribed more than a year ago but haven't used the service in the past year.

YuppTV Unable to login after subscribing to sports pack

I subscribed to YuppTV 11 Oct 2023 but couldn't login to my account. I tried the forgot password option but on entering the OTP, I consistently get the "Invalid OTP" error.

I have tried it multiple times but no success.

I emailed [protected]@yupptv multiple times but to no avail.

I mentioned this on trust pilot and they got back with an email creating a ticket and a subsequent email closing the ticket without any resolution to my problem.

I don't know whether they care for customer satisfaction. Frankly the value in my pack depends on daily usage since every day I am at the loss of not being able to view the sports matches.

Desired outcome: I am expecting yupptv to resolve my login issues by enabling me to reset my password without encountering the "invalid OTP " error which is a bug in the system

YuppTV Asking more money for what I have subscribed for a year

I took the yearly subscription for Gold Malayalam package, it include Surya TV channel when I took the subscription. Couple of months back you cancelled Surya TV channel from the package and demanding more mone.

I have already paid you for this service for a year, how can you in the middle of the year cancel the service? I need access to Surya TV or should provide a part refund. If either of this happens I won't be renewing my subscription.

YuppTV Have not received my refund. Reference no 196125

My mother accidentally subscribe to sport channel as you get unwanted notification whenever you open yupptv. It automatically deducted money, without even asking for otp.

I raised cancellation request with 10 min of subscription but still I have not received any information. It has been 20+ days already . Now when today I reached out again, they first said i saw it for 2 3 hours on certain day and when said I didnt , they now saying they need more time. What is this ? I am reaching out after a week of last request to check on updates, and all u say that i watched 2 3 hours . Really ? Why you guys didn reach out me promptly

Could you share my watch time log. You guys said I watch for 2 to 3 hours in 13 dep whereas I taised request on 9 sep. Entire month I didnt see the channel, only reason I was opening that channel to seenif pack is still active. I would like you guys to share the log with me.

YuppTV Disruptive and random changes without consent in yearly package fraud

The package should have all the channels that it initially had when the subscription took. Yupptv keep on changing randomly by removing channels without customer consent or disrupting the channels from viewing very often is breaking the yearly package and cheating the customer by taking year package amount and not providing the deserving service..All the channels including star maa and other channels which yearly package has should have till the expiry but Yupptv keep on removing channels all of sudden and created disruption. No continuous service without disruption. When raised complaint no proper immediate response even after multiple follow ups.

service is worst of not responding promptly and resolving the issue at the time of need.

These issues are repeatedly happening and it’s clear fraud case. Yupptv is cheating the customer by taking yearly package.

one of the worst service provider who cant keep on the contract term while making the subscription. I made one year subscription for tamil channels and from May 1 2023 they removed Sun channels saying their contract changed and I should pay additional for it which denied and asked for refund they say they cant refund . Whaat cheaters are they ,.. worst provider and cheaters, I will see what i can do to file a complain against

YuppTV A channel out of service - zee tv

the channel Zee TV has been out of service for more than 2 months, and no action is taken. No solution is provided except for canned response.

Several emails and chat has been initiated, since the beginning of the problem. The customer support just unable to provide any concrete reason for the outage. There is also no estimated recovery time. Customer are kept in dark.

YuppTV are cheating the full paying customer with their poor service and customer support.

YuppTV Yupp TV subscription

Hi,

We have purchased an Yupp TV monthly subscription using your Australian website https://www.yupptv.com/australia.html using an australia credit card.

However, for each of the transaction it is charging us an extra 0.99 AUD as foreign transaction fee. This typically happened when the website is not an Australia based website.

We are asking to get the foreign transaction fee refunded considering that the information is mis-leading to the customer.

Also, we would like to know if the mentioned website is an Australia based website or a foreign website.

YuppTV Renewing annual plan without permission (even though I have terminated annual renewal)

Dear Sir/Madam,

Yupp TV has renewed annual subscription though I have terminated auto renewal due to bad experience before. However on 9 July 2023, Yupp TV has take payment from my credit card. I sent couple of emails but they are dragging the reimbursement with emails and asking me to call them for negotiation though I said I don't have a phone due to constant travel. I am shocked by their unprofessional attitude.

YuppTV Yupp Hindi TV_AUD

I was charged $159.99 aud today (13 July 2023) without my consent on a "non-recurring" subscription. I did not ask for this subscription to be renewed, but instead Yupptv charged my card $159.99.

Then when I enquired over chat today (13 July 2023), all they could do was disable this service and offer a refund of $20aud.

As per Australian consumer law: "Consumers have 10 business days to change their mind and cancel the contract (cooling-off period). They can also cancel the contract within three or six months if the supplier has not met certain obligations."

Desired outcome: Refund of full amount $159.99 aud.Cancellation of service.

Company called and refunded $40. Deleted card details off register so subscription will not be renewed next year and allowed us to keep the subscription for this year until June 2014. This was not the preferred outcome, but the back and forth became a waste of time. Numerous attempts to cancel the subscription in favour of a full refund went unheard. First a $20 refund offered, then a $30 refund, and finally a $40. I'm sure they could refund the full amount if they wanted to, but they will make you jump through hoops for hours. Absolutely disgusting company with no morals.

YuppTV Yupp TV annual subscription review

I have used them for past 4 years without any issues, however, this year when I renewed the subscription, they dropped my Marathi service and claimed that I had agreed to the package of only Hindi and Sony Liv. Upon calling the customer service, I was told that I did not had Marathi package for past 4 years and the system showed only Hindi and Sony Liv. They claimed that the system was "correct" and I was wrong!

I asked for refund and was told that there is no refund, however, as per Australian Consumer Law, a 7 days cooling off is mandatory and therefore now I have lodged a compliant with the NSW Fair Trading.

Desired outcome: Either update to include the Marathi package or refund.

YuppTV Yearly subscription scam

I am living in Dubai and I took a yearly subscription on January 2023 with YuppTV on Tamil package. Few months after the subscription started, they have removed all Sun TV channels. I opted for a subscription with them only for Sun Channels and when I contacted the Support executive they are asking me to pay additional money to get back the Sun Channels. I requested to cancel my subscription but they wont want to cancel it either. I deeply regret the decision to opt for their services.I have decided to take this up with the concerned authorities in UAE and have already explained my situation to few of my friends, I will ensure that the authorities are aware of their malpractice pretty soon. Anyone had same experience in UAE can join me. Thanks!

YuppTV Poor service

Dec 2022, YuppTV team called me for renewal of subscription. I said I'm not interested as they are removing channels later. The sales person. Convinced me with 14months service Gemini, Zee package and with movies etc. In March 2023, I saw that they removed all the key channel such as Gemini and Zee, TBO...the only channel left are Etv which is no use. Call the customer care, they asked me pay additional for sunnxt..

Called the billing team, after a long conversation they said they will refund only 50% of what I paid. I don't recommend Yupptv to anyone.

YuppTV Tamil TV channels

A month ago, they stopped Sun network yupp movies etc. I have till October 2023 to use this. When I tried to call the phone, there was no answer, and voice mail was left. No one responded to my message. He wants to disconnect in the middle of our talk with customer service. I told him to call, and he promised to do so. He hasn't called yet.

In addition, he advised me to renew in order to receive these channels. When I mentioned that I had another six months left, he said he couldn't include them in the new package.

YuppTV Removal of Sun TV channels

This is a cheap organisation who would take your money and walk back on their word. YuppTV contacted me earlier this year to renew my subscription. Few months after the subscription started, they have removed Sun TV channels. I called their Customer Service and they raised a ticket. They sent me an email later saying the issue was resolved. However the issue was not resolved. I called them again and they offered me $10 for accepting the reduced package and walking back on their contract to provide the service upto April 2024. The customer service rep also stated that if he was in a similar position he would accept this as an acceptable solution. They have trained the reps well to speak customers into accepting a product that was not what they are signed for. I will raise this complaint through other avenues to make sure they are not allowed to cheat other customers in the future. This is a fraudulent sales organisation who would have known about this SunTV subscription atleast 6 months ahead and still decided to sell products to steal money out of customers.

Desired outcome: Refund the yearly subscription or add the Sun TV channels till April 2024 (end of subscription period).

They did the same to me.

Charged me 110 dollars for yearly subscription and removed Sun tv from the month of April.

When asked they offered me 10 dollars refund. How can you take 110 dollars and not provide the service. This is robbery.

YuppTV Channel subscription

I have been having Yupp tv for last 4 years in USA, last October 2022 I have renewed for another one year subscription of Yupp Tamil TV Gold. All of a sudden they started showing up advertisements when I switch to any channel also they removed all Sun TV channels, every time I renew I ask them what channels they offer and they gave me list of all Sun tv channels this time too, when asked to customer care says, it's mentioned in the terms and conditions that they're allowed to add or delete any channel as per their wish.

But I don’t even have any t&c on my Samsung TV app, had worst customer care experience, I have recorded all the calls with them, now I have all the evidence to sue them, they are literally looting your money, cheating, I have already met with an attorney in Los Angeles, California and explained my situation, I will be suing this company for fraud and malpractice soon. Anyone had same experience can join me in the law suite. Thanks!

YuppTV Removal of Sun TV channels

Paid for a whole year subscription of Yupp Tamil TV Gold_GBP subscription. They removed Sun TV, KTV, Sun Music, Adithya TV, Sun News, and Sun Life channels even though it was promised at the time of subscription.

They claim that it's mentioned in the terms and conditions that they're allowed to add or delete any channel as per their wish.

First of all, I didn't agree to any of the conditions either verbally or in writing. Secondly, UK law states that just because anything is written in terms and conditions doesn't mean that the rules are set in stone.

It has to be fair for the consumer, otherwise the consumer can sue the company. I asked Yupp Tv to either they calculate the money for the rest of the months left and cancel my subscription or give me a free Sun Nxt subscription but they're are selfish, merciless scoundrels. They just want money. I'm going to complain this with UK Advertising and Standards Agency for false advertisement and cheating the customer and request everyone facing this problem to do so. So that they know the power of consumers.

YuppTV YuppTV UK

I have subscribed to their package which includes Sun network channels but they have now removed those channels from the package and asking to pay extra money to access these channels . This is a clear breach of contract . When I tried to contact their customer service , i could only hear automated voice message. I just want to get access to these channels .

Technical support is not accessible . I have also subscribed to their Sony Liv package , but keep getting error message for some movies. Big boss Malayalam is also not available . My other TV has no access to any channels . Overall, there are so many issues with this provider.

YuppTV Tamil gold year package

Very bad experience with yupptv! we have paid full amount for package for one year. We don't get channels in the best quality, we live in Europe and we never get to see today's program on time, we always have to wait until evening to see today's program, yupptv decides to stop offering number of channels over time such as sun network. That also after few months we started the package. When we ask that we had paid for the channels for the whole year and you suddenly stop, they say that we have to upgrade our subscription to see the channels. we are not ready to pay again for the channels that we have already paid for. They cannot do this for existing customers. They can decide suddenly stop some channels but we can't decide that we don't want to use the service anymore because they can't offer what we paid for and they have to transfer the remaining amount to my bank or give us the channels without paying more money. That's not how you treat your customers and that's not how you should offer service.
