I was going to order service from Wildblue Communications in 11/08, but was told there would be an additional charge of $150.00 for a pole to set the dish on, so I told them to forget it and I went with Dish network. 3 months later I get a charge on my bank account for $54.07. After I finally got someone to talk to me I was told it was a restocking fee. I was charged a restocking fee for equipment that I never received. And I can't get anyone to do anything about it.

This is one of those multi-corporation screw-ups but I contribute the blame on Wildblue in the end. Background: I live in a 'mobile' home that has been professionally installed (4 years ago) on a concrete foundation with multiple tie-downs. Along side and attached to the house is an antenna tower (professionally installed) embedded in cement also. On this tower are multiple antennas including a Direct TV Television Dish along with a Hughes Satellite Internet Dish. To Whom It May Concern: This is my experience with WildBlue Communications. I just moved into my first home in Ashburn, VA on May 25, 2007 and saw a deal on DirecTV satellite and internet service as a package. Because of the area I was in, WildBlue turned out to be the only internet service available, since Comcast is a competitor of DirecTV. No problem, I thought. It was very easy to sign up for the service and the serviceman was out to my place in no time to hook me up.
