Speedway Employee conduct

This evening, at just before 6:00pm, I visited store #47199 on South High Street in Columbus, OH. All I wanted to do was grab a quick snack, drink, and a pack of cigarettes. Unfortunately the cashier (whose name I didn't catch due to the lack of a name tag) had other plans in store for me. No sooner had I placed my food and drink items on the counter and started telling him what cigarettes I wanted. It was at this exact moment that he leaned over and got as close to being as directly in my face as the plexiglass window that separated my side of the counter from his would allow (if that partition wasn't there I swear our noses would have touched due how close he was) and, without backing up his proximity to me, starts shaking his shoulders back and forth while loudly talking in a sing-song voice loud enough for the entire store to hear goes: "DO YOU WANNA GET NASTY BABY?! DO YOU WANNA GET FREAKY?!". He's keeps on repeating this the entire time I'm trying to give him my cigarette order only pausing momentarily to ask me to repeat myself. After I do he starts right back up again until I pay and leave. I know, big deal, it's just one customer but rest assured, this is one customer who is never, EVER stepping foot in a Speedway or 7-11 EVER AGAIN! I need this remedied sooner rather than later or else Im taking my complaint to the Better Business Bureau

Speedway Buy one get one free not honored

I went into speedway last night because I wanted a starry I went to get them I got two as it stated on the sign buy one get one free I used my speedy card but it did not come up as buy one get one free so I had to put them back! I have a pic of the sign which I removed and brought home with me to get a pic to send to you! This is misleading and falase advertising!

Desired outcome: buy one get one free as stated!!!!!!!!!!!!!people are getting scammed

its funny that what u took out of my comment was that i stole a sign i mean really? i removed it took it home took a pic of it for proof because i did not have my phone then toook it back/.. i was looking out for the people.. hello? corporate took care of the situation asap.. im sorry u missed the whole point of my comment..

Speedway Customer service

Today is February 22nd, a Thursday in North East Minneapolis. The incident occurred in Speedway, the location on 300 Broadway St, NE Minneapolis, MN. The time is 11:00pm. The security officer and cashier, an older black women, working tonight, were having a conversation while I went to the bathroom. They referred to me as a prostitute and we’re too busy flirting to be of any assistance in this store! This is wrong and they both need to be reported. This is inappropriate to be calling customers such derogatory names. This need to be reported

Desired outcome: Both of the employees, working at 11:00pm in the location, an older black woken with acne and the security officer need to be reported

Speedway Robin

Almost everytime i come into this gas station, all of the workers are kind, friendly, and helpful besides this one lady, Robin, and she is always an a**hole. She is always ignoring foreign customers and makes them wait longer than american people. She always interrupts me when i’m speaking and jumps into conversations that has nothing to do with her. There have been a lot of times that she’s ignored me as a customer just to play a song on her phone and is clearly always stoned.

Desired outcome: I would like it if she wasn’t always high out of her mind and a complete jerk.

Speedway Bathroom

Is Richmond Indiana store at 4382 national road East. How's had no toilet paper in the ladies room for 2 days. Speed way used to be my favorite gas Station, but you've really left the mccline. It's really sad. I don't know if it's under new ownership or what, but it's awful and the one on Nashville road, West or Southwest fifth, is no better. They're bathrooms or even more disgusting. I guess it's time for me to stop groing speedway

Speedway Service

2/7/24 around 1:00 pm, I was at the speedway on 5 points store. So this employee Morgan I have had nasty run ins with her numerous times I do not understand why speedway would put up with this unprofessionalism. I asked her for a lid for one of the soft drink cups! She said what size, was I looking for I was not sure! Meanwhile she’s standing back behind counter texting on her phone, instead of coming and seeing what I needed. Finally she walks over and says, no we do not have anymore of those lids, that’s why I asked you so I did not have to walk over here! I looked at her like this is your job! She then preceded to tell me if I have a problem, I could leave! The whole time she’s on her phone! This young lady has such a nasty attitude with everyone that comes in the store! I really do not understand you guys wanting an employee like this in your company! This is one of numerous complaints she has had, now if corporate is in store wow she’s sweet as pie, she told another employee that yeah I have some many complaints their not going to do anything, really I go in this store everyday before work , I guess I will start going to Casey’s because I just cannot stand the nastiest! Speedway Hostile Work Environment

I came in for a shift to truck not being put away and my second shift co workers were writing notes on the register and refused to help me put things away . I was told that I could have put truck away on third shift when it was so busy that I was unable to do the duties I had been assigned to do.

Speedway The conduct and service from the manager in Tularosa N.M 88352

Nancy? Here at the speed way is a very rude, smart alect, asks id from people she don't like, talks in spanish to other employees knowing your the only customer in the store, throws your change at you (bills), give people a hard time, gives dirty looks, mean. I would not recommend this store to anyone as long as she works here. My husband hates to go inside this store because of her.

Desired outcome: That she be fired and replaced with a person that welcomes you with a smile and also replace half of your employees that are not acting like her.

Speedway CSR needs recognition.

I was at store #7404 in Dry Ridge Ky. Maria Malicele was So Very helpful and courteous. She went above and beyond to help. I was waiting for the restroom and as soon as she got a chance she actually went and checked the restroom. She made sure there was no one in there. Fortunately, the door accidentally got locked by the last customer. Maria went above and beyond her CSR duties. Mant people would have just handed me the key. Instead, she checked the safety and availability for me. Please don't just say "hey, nice job" send her a gift card or a bonus to really show she is valued. The store was also very neat and clean.

Speedway Manager very unprofessional

Your manager (B) at Speedway HWY [protected] Chinle, Arizona is very unprofessional to Customers, she'll be yelling out "Hello" as they walk in, while leaning against the counter, and she doesn't pay attention to customers in line.

#1 Manager has an attitude issues (never nice) to customers, "my way of the highway attitude".

#2. Always out of fountain drinks (2-3wks) at time. sometimes she charges twice and doesn't allow refund on drinks too.

#3 Gas pumps always dirty, no gloves, trash bin are always full.

#4 Gas pump credit card machine always out of order

#5 This manager needs customer service and management skills or better yet, replace her, Speedway loosing money. thank you!

*the incident is on-going since manager first came to this store

Speedway Customer service

I went to the location on Coors and Montano this morning. I go here all the time. I fueled up and went inside. The "Manager" on duty was in the restroom and the clerk was very friendly. I wanted to replay my Lotto tickets. She said I would have to wait because the machine was out of paper.

I waited for 10 minutes and then the manager came out of the bathroom. When the Clerk explained what was needed she began to complain that she wished they would stop selling Lotto and that she was sick of people. the complaints got worse and worse. At that point because it seemed like such a hardship for her to do her job I told the clerk that I would just leave.

The Clerk suggested I come back because it was close to the end of the managers shift and the next one would be able to help me. I don't think I will be back and will find another station to take my business to.

Claimed loss: Between fuel and other items I spend ~$200.00 per week at this location. I will not be shopping here in the future.

Desired outcome: Please send this manager to some training. If you are going to be in customer service then please treat your customer like you want them to be your customers.

Speedway Speedway employee complaint

Yes my name is Tammy and I went to speedway in Elkins Wv on Harrison Ave 26241... on Jan 16 2024 at 6:30 am to get a couple things I had my back pack on an I ask the worker if I could leave my back pack up front and he told me no that I had to leave it outside.. and I said leave it outside he said yes ma'am I said I have all my stuff in it and I can't leave it outside so I waited on my daughter to come bk up front cause I couldn't get nothing cause I had to leave my bk pack outside and I wasn't doing that so I never gt wat I needed cause of ur worker wouldn't let me leave my bk pack up front

Speedway Employee/manager

On 62nd and keystone avenue in Indianapolis Indiana 46220 Speedway Gas Station, a worker and I believe she’s the manager as well named Deena, is the most unprofessional employee I’ve ever encountered. Her verbal abuse has been going on for years but I refuse to stop using that gas station because of her. Today was the last straw. I tried to buy juul pods, something I commonly buy (I’m 26 and she knows I’m of age because she has sold them to me multiple times and definitely knows me because I’m a frequent customer and I’ve had multiple interactions with her) and when I was carded I gave her my passport because I misplaced my license. She told me it was not a valid ID and refused my service. I told her that is not possible knowing I was handing her a government issued ID that is even more valid than a drivers lisence alone. She still refused and was incredibly rude. I then had my 31 year old boyfriend go in because he had his license and she refused him as well! I remained calm as always but she caused a scene infront of the entire store. She needs to be let go because this is not the first time she’s treated customers in such a cruel manner. I hope she gets the help she needs.

Speedway Rude customer service

Went inside to use the restroom & get gas. I noticed a sign on the bathroom door saying “for customers only! Must purchase something” but bc I knew I was getting gas after I went in first. Came out & the dark lady at the register was looking at me in disgust yelling at me saying I had to buy something. I went to grab my wallet my husband went in next & the cashier tried to open the door on him while he was in the restroom & felt uncomfortable & decided to get gas elsewhere. The cashier followed him to MY car videotaping from her phone & grabbing onto my car, yelling bc we didn’t make a purchase while my children were in the car. She traumatized my children over us not using making a purchase before using the restroom. Very unnecessary & unacceptable. Mind you I changed my mind about making a purchase bc of how rude & disrespectful the cashier was. This employee needs to be held responsible.

Speedway Speedy rewards program fraud

I had accumulated 22,866 rewards points since opening a Rewards card Membership several years ago. I reported an apparent breach or hijack of my account to Speedway in early September [protected]) and was given case number 0513690. My case info and personal info was provided. I was told that I'd be notified by US mail of the resolution and instructions regarding the points. On the Speedy Rewards App on my phone I have the hackers email address, alternate ID they use, and a zip code. I provided this on my initial call to Speedway. I also see the transaction history in the wallet section. They have stolen a total of 21,875 points in three transactions since I filed my complaint. In addition, they have numerous small purchases logged to the account at various Speedway locations. This log should be available through your computer system. I have screen shots of this log.

I've attempted to get an update and resolution by calling the 800 number several times (Latest 12/6/23). I missed a call from Speedway on 10/18, but subsequent attempts to call result in "someone will call you back" but no return calls. My cell number is [protected].

Claimed loss: 21,875 reward points (stolen from my rewards membership account since approximately 8/4/2023).

Desired outcome: 1) Assurance an investigation was actually conducted. 2) Information about case resolution and instructions. 3) Reinstatement of the stolen points

Speedway Being charged for hot water after paying $48.10 in gas.

My complaint is in regard to when I stopped at this gas station - SPEEDWAY [protected] EAST CORTEZ, CO [protected]

On the afternoon of November 26th, I stopped for gas, a washroom break and to fill up my own trav mug, with my own tea bags. Your extremely rude and demeaning attendant demanded I pay $1.00 for the hot water and accused me of stealing tea. When I wouldn't comply, she confiscated my mug and called the police.

I hope to never need to stop for gas at Speedway again. If my patronage is not appreciated, I can get my service elsewhere.

Speedway Bad service

Yes I would like to make a complaint about a store in my area. At 62nd Street and keystone avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. I went inside to purchase a fountain drink and was going to pay with a $20 bill. I was told that they will not give me cash back because I'm spending less than a dollar. I'm pretty sure that's a legal and absolutely not true. I'm paying in cash so it doesn't cost the store. Any fees for processing a card. Is it really store policy to not except a $20 bill for a fountain drink? Because I've done it plenty of times.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and an apology. I feel like the management at that store needs to be talked to as well

Speedway Angry Rude

6001 Michigan Sun Nov 26 2023 approximately 10:15 am no Name Tag Black American w/glasses tall 6 ft around 250-300 lbs male w/long dreadlocks I witnessed a elder older lady buying cigarettes He She was trying to make him aware the cigarettes was behind the wall IN BACK. He started ranting words saying he did not know or nobody smokes Pyramid cigs brand she was requesting. Also stated he did not have to serve [protected]@ the had made her purchase Ranting she need to go else whereShe stated he was really rude . Then He started yelling @her saying she was rude Which she was soft spoken to him He used profanity language . @ that I decided to just exit the store It was obviously he had some kinda issues This is not the first time I witness him he has very bad angry attitude to be working customer Serv Not knowing whom he may encounter w/ this attitude he should be serving anyone

Sun nov 26 10:20-10:30 am I witnessed your No name tag -black American angry employee going on a rant w/ a older lady that asked for cigarettes She politely told him the short cigarettes were located behind the cigarettes wall, in the back. He went on a unnecessary rant as he was retrieving them .Stating some to effect nobody smokes whatever brand cigarettes She stated to him he was very rude . An he started Yelling saying profanity language. After she made her purchase He said He did not have to serve her As she exited the store She said she was calling management EMPLOYEE started cursing loud again& saying he did not give a D, f*** & he was the manager I can only image had that Lady not left so quickly !Employee not been behind the counter im sure he would have gotten physical w/ /older,elder lady That was very abusive already.This is not the first time Your employee always has an attitude when ever I come to this speedway & he's there I try to avoid & go to other Serv rep If there's 2 windows open Or ill leave during times I think he's working there This is just not a place he shall be working w/ ppl period Not sure I suspect he has a serious mentally anger issue

Speedway Gas

Attempted to get gas at a location in Carmel Indiana. Card was declined after a hold for $126 was taken out by speedway. Pump did not let me get the gas but took $126 out of my account. Called customer service and my financial institution and there’s nothing that can be done until it’s cleared and it could take up to 7 days. It’s the day before Thanksgiving and this is all the money I had in my account to get gas and buy Thanksgiving dinner for my family. Now I have nothing a no way to give my family a Thanksgiving meal. The trust I had in using this company is completely gone.
