US Fidelis Refusal to pay a bill

I called them and ask them to reimburse me for work that i had done, and the refused my claim, they had more excuses then i have got patience. I was told it was a covered job, but because the company that did the work did not call them, and i went and had the repair done myself they said i was not eligible for a reimbursment. I have never seen a company that will not pay there responiblilites to their costomers, even other insurance companies reimburse you for charges that you pay for out of your own pocket . I hope you are able to shut this sham outfit down and get me back my money that i paid for this coverage. How do i join the class action suit against this sham outfit. I want justice, I would at least like for them to live up to their contracts to the people who purchased these plans.

Actually, most insurance companies will not reimburse you for work you had done without first contacting them, and if they have done so for you in the past, it was probably just to shut you up. Insurance companies have a right to inspect a vehicle prior to making repairs to make sure that your problem is covered by your policy.

On 9/13/11 took truck in to have work done and was told by service rep that US Fidelis had filed bankruptcy first time I've heard anything about this would like to know when and how to file a claim against them. Not sure if the work we need done will be covered

US Fidelis Auto repair insurance scam

US Fidelis, the biggest scam going. I could have avoided this by checking into the company better.

If I knew that the owner was a felon I would not have signed up.

After paying $1500.00 my car developed an engine problem. US Fidelis then requested a copy of all my maintenance records for almost two years. After sending this information to them there was no response. I then contacted them and of course was told that they didn't receive anything.

I sent them again and once again no response. I contacted them again and was now told that I had to bring the car to a shop, have the engine taken apart and diagnosed. Then they would decide if they would cover it or not.

These people are con artists.

Avoid them.

US Fidelis Complete waste of my money

What a SCAM! Complete waste of my money. The water pump went out and I had to show ORIGINAL receipts for all my old changes for 2 years. The garage that I go to, to have the water pump and oil changed offered to send them copies of all my oil changes and they said it wouldn’t work. They actually expected me to have copies of all those ORIGINAL receipts with me in my wallet so that I can fax them over. Keep in mind I dropped the car off earlier in the day and I’m at work. I only had 2 payments left and I canceled it. They actually said to me, “you only have 2 payments left, are you sure you want to cancel?” My response, “Why in the hell would I pay you $90 a month for 2 more months? You won’t even cover a f**king windshield wiper.” GOD I’M SO F***ING MAD AT MYSELF FOR FALLING FOR THIS SCAM! They spend 30 minutes on the phone with you talking about all the wonderful things they cover, you’d think they could spend 2 seconds telling you to please make sure you keep all the ORIGINAL receipts in case something breaks.

US Fidelis US Fidelis is a legal scam

I finaly have finished dealings with US Fidels and feel they are the closest thing you can get legaly to a scam. After talking to Tier 1, Mepco, and US. Fidels today all spanning over 2 hours i have realized that there is no way i am going to get my money back. I called in 33 days after i started my policy, as soon as i could becuase it took 10 days for the letter to get to me from them and i was in the field for training for the next 21 days when it did actualy come, and they told me that because it wasnt with in 30 days the policy can't be cancelled by a simple call. To cancel it then took paying for notorization, a bunch of paperwork and 4-6 weeks of processing on there end, none of which was told to me when i purchased the policy. Of course that whole time it took for this to happn i was being charged for "coverage" even though i called in and told them to stop the clock so to speak and not charge me because i didn't want the policy. Not to mention the reason i no longer wanted the coverage is becuase it is potrayed as covering a lot more than it does, it only covers specific parts in each section that is advertised as covered and those parts are not the parts that break, the comonly breaking parts (eg. sunroof window is not considered a wndow, and the actual 4 windows only cover the motor not the accuators which is what normaly breaks) are not listed in the fine print. Take all of that and the price tag of over $3, 000 for a 10 year old buick with 65, 000 miles and rude and imposible to reach customer service and you got a leagal scam. I would not advise going with them because the chance of something covered by the policy breaking and the price being more than that of the policy is highly unlikly. Your vehicle whould probobly require 5-8 visits to a mechanic for covered parts for the policy to be worth it.

US Fidelis Car Bumper to Bumper warranty

June 2009, I spoke to Jeremiah Trout, about becoming a member of US Fidelis. I wasn't sure at first, but we talked at length about factory warranties and that they only covered lubricated parts. Jeremiah assured me that signing on for a Primer package it would cover my car bumper to bumper, the only catch was that I could not use it for 60 days. So I waited making my payments faithly and now it is mid January 2010, my car started acting up, I called US Fidelis and asked if it was okay to use the warranty now, I was told yes, I( could go to any shop of my choosing, just have the maintains person call the claims number and let them know what was wrong in order to secure payment., because Fidelis pays with a corporative credit card. So I took the car to the dealer they did the inspections, and called Fidelis as Fidelis requirement, so the maintains person did what was required and was promptly told all work was declined telling them that it was all normal wear and tear that Fidelis refused to pay for. So I went back and found my paper work that I received from them in the mail, it was filled with thing that was not covered even though it was bumper to bumper warranty. Had I not been miss lead and lied to I would have never signed on with US Fidelis. The only way to can get any thing from them is to go to arbitration with them in Chicago, Ill. So I will try one more time by calling the claims department myself and if that fails I will be seeking a lawyer and filing a law suit against US Fidelis and all known associates (ie MEDCO). For violation of their own contract.

US Fidelis Fear Factor

The work environment at US Fidelis is very strange. They front a christian based setting; yet the way the entire business is ran breaks or bends to almost breaking point–morally right, ethically right behavior.

The sense of urgency to “get the money” and push customers beyond normal sales practices is quite disturbing. From the top, the management is told to manage by instilling fear. The employee fears losing their job if they do not put the fear in the customers. In my 30 years of being in the workforce I had never experienced anything like it before in my life. Most of the people that are hired are young and naive to the business world. Should they ever seek work elsewhere, they will have a great adjustment in learning basic customer service as it should be.

Regarding sexual harrassment—there is no training or information to anyone on what is or is not appropriate. Anywhere I have ever worked where the company was that big; some sort of class or pamphlets were given out. US Fidelis does not care. MAKE THAT MONEY, is their motto. I worked there for 18 months and not once was there even a fire drill, tornado drill, or a class on how to handle threatening calls. The only classes were on how to sell; how to get the money. These classes were held for ALL employees whether you were in sales or not.

US Fidelis is unethical, morally deprived and hopefully within a short time our law enforcement will prove that they are in fact an illegal operation.

Just wanted to leave a word to say how can an entertainment program seen by children allow passing scenes with animal torture? Showing things like putting live beatles into a blender mixed with sour milk? And make a juice out of it that people have to drink for money? Is that your idéia off fun and education? a proper thing for children to watch? I haven't seen many of your series but i'm just guessing that torturing animais whatever the kind surely makes part of a large variety off your shows? Have you ever been contacted by any animal protection association? Well If you haven't you should have! Please get your priorities straight and i am going to see whomelse who i can talk to, to end those kind of exhibitions completely useless nowadays, in a time a big part off the world is worried in sending out the right message - respect every way of life, it's not the animais thought you don't know how to have fun.

US Fidelis Overcharged

US Fidelis sells warranties that only cover up to the blue book value of your car or even less limits. Sometimes the warranty costs more than your car is worth and you think "WOW" I can just keep getting my car repaired and it will be paid for.

Just remember that the warranty company decides if they will pay for it or not. They decide if they think you were overcharged for the repairs (most times they do). They send inspectors out who look at your vehicle when it is torn down to have an engine or transmission rebuilt that usually say, NOPE not the problem and then you get the bill for it being torn down and put together again. If they do cover one of those expenses then your warranty contract is usually done for as they paid out the limit.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING OR EVEN GIVE YOUR BANKING OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION UNTIL YOU SEE THE CONTRACT.

This company might say they will send you some information first but they do not. OR that you can cancel in 30 days if you don't like it; but then they put you through Hxxx to get your money back. They send you through a department that nags you to death to keep the coverage and offers you a lower price. Still the same crap coverage.

They changed their name, they used to be Dealer Services.

I have been seeing the US Fidelis commercial on TV and became curious about their warranty because my car has over 70, 000 miles on it. I called and some pushy salesman tried to get me to buy RIGHT NOW, like it was life or death. I would not worry about it if you bought a new car, yes things can break down but if you take care of your car you will find that car can go to 200, 000 mils easy and you will end up spending less then 3Gs in repairs. So you may be amongst the 5% that faces more issues, but that's just bad luck. I don't think you should spend money on a warranty unless your car is a clunker.
I think its funny how these insurance companies advertising they pick the most highly expensive repair and highly unlikely repair ri scare you. Water pumps, radiator and belts are your typical components that will need to be replaced each one less then 500 dollars if you go to the right repair shop!

Watch this video since you do not believe thousands of complaints.

Then check out their BBB report which has 1002 complaints listed over the last 36 months. With an F rating which means they never resolve them.

I think after you see this you will either cancel your contract, or go back to your desk at US Fidelis. And US Fidelis does not sell auto insurance man. All they do is rip people off on a daily basis.

I had the same breakdown with my vehicle about 5 months ago. Bad transmission, luckily I have my extended warranty from US Fidelis that I bought a year ago. They covered the entire repair, communicated directly with my mechanic and I had no problems whatsoever. Are you sure that you purchased an extended warranty and not just auto insurance. There is a big difference you know. So far, I am satisfied with my US Fidelis extended warranty plan, I'll update if anything changes.

They don't pay claims, should have done some research on them. This is not new news. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS!. Not probably is, but IS, every time. Nobody is going to give you a great deal in this world. You get what you paid for, and that's it. With US Fidelis it is even worse. US Fidelis pays anywhere from $150.00 to $1000.00 for their plans. This sis how much the "Warranty Administrators" charge them for evey contract. They will raise the price by more that 600% and sell it to you. They are looking for the cheapest plans to sell to you. they will not pay claims, nor will they tell you the truth about the policy before you buy it. Because of this, they don't care about which plan you buy, only about how much money they can make off it. So no matter what you get from them, you will always get screwed. I bet if someone there does sell you a B2B plan, the manager will change it you some BS Powertrain product warranty so they make more money. Also, consider this. Most people who buy a Warranty will never file a claim. If you ask those people whether US Fidelis is a good compnay, they will say YES. In that case the assumption is made based on "customer service" while they were buying the plan. Which at that point is always great. But, if you never use the plan, how can you know it is a good compnay.

I want to thank everyone here. I was considering purchasing a contract with US Fidelis and am very glad I did some homework first. I especially want to thank Former Employer. The links that you provided were all I really needed to make my decision. You see I just recently had to have my entire engine replaced, along with a few other parts, and had to pay for it out of pocket. This made me consider a contract because I went through hell getting this done and getting the money for it. I think the hell I went through is no where near hell compared to what I've read and heard that others have gone through with US Fidelis. Again I thank you. :)

I believed them because I have heard a lot about these company cheating like this. When I saw the commercial on TV I was thinking in the good way and want to buy one but in the other way why are they paying that easy then I had think more than twice then I decide to buy extend warrantee from the dealer (sure thing).

I'm glad that I didn't buy invisible thing with invisible service like a ghost company like this.

I hope after you put the complain the investigate would help consumers like us faster and close out these sucker company out of this planet.

In this case I would have to agree with US Fidelis. You sir must have the best luck in the world. You buy a warranty and 59 days later your water pump breaks. WOW! Is that not the best thing that ever happened? What I think is this. You were at your Mechanics a few days before you bought a Warranty. He said "your water pump is going to break soon". You decided to buy a Warranty for that problem. You didn't read the contract, nor did you ask them when you can file a claim. I am very surprised that they did not deny it for "Pre-existing", I would have. The two biggest problems in the Warranty industry is this. BS companies like US Fidelis. And customers like this who buy a Warranty to fix a problem they allready have. The customers like this guy are the bigger problem. Becasue of their illegitimate claims everyone else pays more for their policy. And to tell you the truth, I have never heard of a 60 day waiting period. They are 30 days, so I think you were lied to then. Also, consider this. The parts in your car will wear out before they break. You will not know this until it breaks. So if you buy a Warranty today, and your water pump has been worn out for two months and is about to break, even if you wait the FULL waiting period it can still be denied for "Pre-Existing". If you do not know that the part was worn out, nobody cares. A Mechanic can tell whether it was worn out or not. The best advice I can give. If you buy a Warranty, and you have over 80, 000miles, the Warranty compnay should ask you to fill out an "Inpection form". If they do not this is what is happening. If they don't require an inspetions form they probably will not pay claims. An inspections from is proof that there was nothing wrong with your car before you bought the plan. If you do not have one, ANY claim can be denied for "Pre-Existing", even if you don'tknow about it. Also, if a company does not ask for an Inspection form, they are not interested in protecting themselves from lots of claims. Every company is scared of this. Lots of claims in the Warranty business means you are going out of business. So if they do not want to protect themselves with an inspection form, they probably know that when you file a claim it will be denied. Also, I am not trying to sell you anything, so I have no reason to lie. If you call any compnay out there and ask for clarification on what I jsut wrote, you are an idiot. What the hell do you think they will tell you. "Well not sir, we don't require and inspection form because we know that this plan is garbage". Absolutely not, they will never say this. They will tell you that they do not require one. If they do say this, and your car has over over 80, 000 or 100, 000 miles depending on the company, you are going to get ripped off. THE ONLY COMPANIES THAT DO NOT REQUIRE INSPECTION FORMS FOR HIGH MILEAGE VEHICLES KNOW THAT THEIR PLANS WILL NEVER PAY OUT. If you don't agree that's fine. Take a chance. Just remember, a Warra nty salesman is like a used car salesman. They are going after your money. Anything they say is for one reason, and that reason has nothing to do with helping the customer.

US Fidelis complete scam

US Fidelis is horrible. I purchased the gold plan after buying a 2 year old car. My car overheated quickly and horribly so it went right to shop.
My car has now been at the shop for over two weeks and they are doing everything to reject my claim! Mechanic has to wait on hold 10-15 minutes everytime he needs to talk to them. Luckily I borrowed a car and didn't rent one cause they only pay for rental after they agree to repair. I would never recommend them to another person. This has been a nightmare!

actually just to let you know us fidelis is not the warranty company. the claims dept is in your warranty company. so if you had the repair facility calling them then you had them calling the wrong person. because us fidelis is completely separate from the warranty company. Us fidelis also doesnt have anything really to do with the claims, yes they pay for them, but they go by what the warranty company says, if they say are not going to cover it then they are not going to pay for, we cannot do anything about that. US fidelis are just the broker they sell the contracts to the customers, the warranty company writes those contracts therefore us fidelis follows those contracts...

US Fidelis Awful experience

I purchased a warranty from US Fidelis for my car. I made my down payment and I had not received my contract in the mail. I called them and they explain that they are a broker For several warranty companies and the one that was sold to me they did not do business with anymore. They said they flipped me (whatever that means) to a different company but I still had the same coverage. I ask them why they did not call me and tell me this and why I did not receive paperwork.

The person said that I was to be notified and apologized. I was like, ok, then my coverage still starts April 3rd, right? Because I made my payment on February 3rd and I was told I had 60 days and 1500 miles to wait before I could use it. I already have the 1500 miles. The representative said that my coverage would not start until 60 days from when the coverage was flipped.
Is it my fault that they decided to quit doing business with the company I originally had?
I have to wait longer for my coverage because US FIDELIS can't make up their mind who they are going to deal with? I told that to the person on the phone and they just kept apologizing. I said they could apologize all they wanted but this was still very wrong and I want my money back. So they start in with how I need this coverage so bad and my car is going to put me into financial ruin. I told the person that US Fidelis was going to put me in financial ruin and cancel it. He asked me to hold and then I get transferred to someone else who starts with the same line. The last person hounded me until it was almost harassment. They attempted to give me a huge discount
if I would not cancel.
OH My GOSH! Are these people desperate? Their management must lurk over their shoulders and threatening their jobs if they don't drill the customer to death. Seriously, why do they carry on like this? I had to wonder if the business was going under and after all the hooplah and I KNEW I wanted to cancel no matter what. The stereotype reputation of a used cars salesman would describe this company, but ten times worse.
So, now I am waiting to be refunded my down payment of $195. The last person told me I had to send them copies of the contract, mileage reading and HAVE IT NOTARIZED? All because THEY decided to change my warranty? Then they have to gall to tell me there is a $25 fee for processing. At this point I felt like I was going to start screaming!
This conversation started at the [protected] number from me just asking where my paperwork was. I had to talk to four different people and about 45 minutes later I finally got canceled. I am waiting for my refund and in the meantime I am contacting the BBB and the attorney general in my state. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

Same experience here. When my transmission broke they said first they will cover 2000k (while during sales I was told they will cover 100%). Then they said they will not be able to cover it. So I said I would like to cancel and they said I have to do three things before I can cancel: Call 1 agency and do stop payment, call Mepco and request cancellation and fax 4 documents, filled out request form (for which most detals are not available in the contract form), NOTARIZED milage readout, and copies of contract and finance form. These were faxed to some number. When I called I was told to call abck after weeks to know if the fax and the documents are good. I called again after 2 weeks to find that it is cancelled but no one knows about the refund. They said it could be months and that they have employed this understaffed company to handle canecellations.
Basically when enrolling you they do it so fast and efficiently with no signature and only your credit card. But while cancelling they make you do all the clerical work and then have you wait indefinitely.

Big mistake to go with this company. Please do not make my mistake.

Reason I started US Fidelis Warranty Dec. 2nd. was because I trusted the Rusty Wallace name. Started seeing all the complaints and sent everything back thinking I was fine under the 30-day trial time. Mepco (finance company) is still taking payments out of my account and say they can't cancel it. US Fidelis says they can't cancel because they are only a broker to Choice Manufacturing. Choice Manufacturing says they can't cancel even though they received returned products and letter on Dec. 29th (within 30 days). It's been over two months, still trying to cancel payments and get $150 deposit back.

I had the same problem with them. I have paid over $500.00 towards this so-called warranty so far. My car broke down and i took it to the dealership to find out that my car needs thousands of dollars worth of repairs. Ask what US fidelis did for me? ###! All this work needs to be done but nothing is covered under warranty. There are so many loop holes with this it's not funny. I have 3 windows that broke in my car at the same time... the window regulators went out. The warranty covers the window motors but not the regulators and you can't purchase window regulators without the motors! WTF? On top of all this i havent even used the stupid worthless thing and they are refusing to give me a refund after only 2 months. Needless to say i am having to have an atterney investigate the issue to see what can be done. My mother always says if it sounds to good to be true it usually is people. I feel like a complete [censored] having wasted my money. That's $500.00 i could have had to start attempting to get the thousands of dollars worth of work done on my car which is still broke! RIPOFF, RIPOFF, RIPOFF. I tell everyone i come in contact with about how much of a scam this is.

If they "Flipped" you, that is called bait and switch. Read this carefully now; NO TWO COMPANIES OFFER THE SAME COVERAGE. This is what they did, they explained one plan to you, and sold you snother one. You thought you were paying for a "Bumper to Bumper" plan, but you are not getting that. Their system is set up to specifically pull up ebery plan that is availble for your car, if it not availeble, it will not come up. If they "flipped" you, most likely the plan that they sold you will not make them as much money as the other one they put you in. Here are some thing you SHOULD do ASAP. Call your credit card company, tell them that US Fidelis "misrepresented" their product and you need them to cancel the transaction. THEY WILL! After that, call your atterney general. The one in your state. Then call the atterney general in MO, where US Fidelis is located. This is classic sales. And bait and switch is horrible, but happens waaaaaay too much. The atterney generals are busy, but if thousands of people keep calling them, they will take action!

US Fidelis Scam Artists

I have been seeing the US Fidelis commercial on TV and became curious about their warranty because my car has over 70, 000 miles on it. I called and some pushy salesman tried to get me to buy RIGHT NOW, like it was life or death. I continued to ask more questions and he continued to ask me for my Visa or MasterCard; I am guessing at least 4 times. I asked that he put some information in the mail so that I could review it and he stammered around telling me that he would not be able to offer this price again. Then he
backed off a little and said if I could give my credit or debit account number he could hold the price. I didn’t give it but I know he has my phone number as he had asked if this number was where he could get in touch with me. I did not give my address. I hung up the phone and I am fairly certain I will be called.

I thought it would be smart to check into the company as the commercial is the first time I had heard about them. I Googled their company and WOW, was I glad I did not buy anything from them!

They used to be Dealer Services and National Auto Warranty Services. This is the same company that I saw on television about sending out postcards to people tricking them into believing they were from their dealership. The logo they used looked like GM but was DS. VERY deceiving. I looked up their rating from the Better Business Bureau and they have an F. Not a good report card, I 'd say!

Also they are being investigated by numerous State Attorney General’s and have open lawsuits. Missouri filed one in 2008 according to the BBB and I found an article on the state of Missouri Attorney General's website about them using deceptive marketing and calling people on DO NOT CALL, and fraud. Here is another interesting thing: When I scrolled through the Google Search results I find out there is a ****CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT**** against them.

The law firm Casey and Devoti is handling the class action lawsuit and there website is:
http://www.caseydevoti.com/news.php#9 . Their phone number and email is on their website. It says they are offering free consultations so if you have been ripped off by US Fidelis, National Auto Warranty Services, or Dealer Services at 100 Mall Parkway or 200 Mall Parkway in Wentzville, MO……CALL THE LAWYERS!

To the 'Lame Americans' post: How dare you put all Americans in a class of being 'lame'. This is a website for consumers to share their experiences with one another and --if need be--warn one another. Thank Goodness for the internet so that we can do so. You sound like the narcissistic management of US Fidelis. Justice will be done when the place is put out of business. By the way, I suggest you rid yourself of your anger at the gym or maybe take anger management class.

I like the fact that you took your time out to write a bunch of nonsense on here and didn't even get screwed over by this company. Take some healthy advise: if you are not at least 99% sure you are going to make a purchase on the phone call, don't call at all. It is the job of the person answering the phone to get your money. Call centers like US Fidelis get thousands of calls per day and they are normally a bunch of broke pieces of garbage calling in, wanting a quote. The sales rep starts high and then will go down lower on the price over time. I can understand saying "no" because it doesnt fit into your budget. What I don't get is why the hell do you broke ###s call in when you know damn well you can't afford even 100 dollars a month. If you are that broke, you shouldn't be calling in. Even if you are calling in and want time to think about it. I don't get what there is to think about it. Either you want coverage or you don't. Getting figures and wanting to go over some brochure isn't going to make this any better. They could easily send you some fake literature and then it can be totally different when you agree to set up. Get with times, people! Car insurance, health insurance, and almost anything buy in this country is a scam. Scams were invented because there are a ton of dumb people out there. Don't get mad at someone just because they figured out how to get that dumb persons money. I used to work in sales for that company. I don't like US Fidelis but I also don't like all of you ###s who sit around, ### about all of these "scams" out there. Calling a company and ### about their sales tactics is like loading a gun, shotting yourself in the food, and then ### about your foot hurting so much. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. You all want to act like victims out there. I have talked to thousands of Americans while doing this job and I will say this. The calling is 10 times more of a liar than the sales rep.

ke2007 works for US Fidelis. That, or he is an idiot who believed some Awesome lies. I can sit here all day and write how bad US Fidelis is. Examples will not explain anything. I was in the Warranty business, and I know for a fact that US Fidelis is doing this to make as much money as possible. Consider this, they have been doing this for years. National Dealer warranty, Dealer Services, are just a few of their names. They will make a bunch of money, then change the name and do it all over again. And the best part is, the same people that they have been ripped of will be ripped off again by them under a different name. There is only one good compnay out there, but I am not allowed to say their name anymore. Ifyou think that for one reason or another you might be able to get a good deal from US Fidelis, good luck. I don't think you will, but you're welcome to try. Keep in mind though that if you get ripped off you cannot do anything about it. Warranties are not insurance, and they are not regulated AT ALL! Good luck, and check everything you can.

I am so glad I to te time check this co out on line before I bougt the policy. I talked to aguy this morning who wa als very pushy about signng up toay. He said, I would rally be upset if I didn't do itrigt ow and when I left had car problems. I will tell you a story about an auto body shop here in Clearwater, FL that took me to the cleaners. He a supposed to fix my water pump I got my car back 9 days later. In thos 9 days had caused over $1800.00 in damage due to his negligence. He used a hammer & a pry to remove plastic pulleys. The crank shaft pulley was for a 1999 car my car is a 2000. It didn't fit so he tried to make it fit by beating it on with hammer. It's unreal how many crooks are out there just waiting to take advantage of someone. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. You don't know who to trust.

Take it from me, I used to work at this company, take it from someone who knows about it all too well... IT IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF! Everything you are reading about this company is T-R-U-E! They rip off the elderely and uneducated. One call I had with an elderly woman, and I actually made her cry because she could not afford it, but knew she needed the warranty badly. At that point, I couldn't do it anymore. I went to one of the mangers and said, "I just made a woman cry! I feel horrible!" His response was, "Well than you did a good job, maybe she will call back and buy a warranty!" Its a joke, these warranties only cover engine and transmission mainly, and they also say there is a cut off ... its completely bogus... DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ###!

ok first off the the salesman r telling you the truth the reason why they say they will not be able to offer that price again is becuase the contract are issued on a mileage and state basis. if you have 70, 000 miles on your vehicle and then you dont take it and then you call back 3 months later your not going to be able to get the same policy you were offered, so if you were offered the bumper to bumper and then 3 months later you called back you would more then likely only get the power train.

as for calls made out to customer, that is completely false, us fidelis does not make outbound calls, when us fidelis was dealer services they were about 4 or 5 other companies who had the exact same name, so other warranties companys call and people think it is us, when they actually have never spoken with them before

as for the BBB, yes they have an f rating, but as of today the company has only a couple unresolved complaints, but the BBB fails to show that, another reason they have an f is because the BBB makes company's pay to be on the BBB, so if you don't pay then it lowers your rating.

and as for being frauds, i wouldn't say that a company who all together has been in business for over 30 years, a fraud, yes us fidelis as in the building that is located in wentzville has only been around for a little over 5 years, but like i said all together the business has been there for 30 years.

i was an upset customer for just one moment, until i actually called in to us fidelis the other day, and talked to some very extraordinarily wonderful customer service. They helped me understand so much more then i did, and i am very lucky to hae this insurance with them and i plan on keeping it to the end.

Wow! Thank you to all who have posted your comments. I was just about to go on their web site and get this warranty. When I clicked the US Fidelis web page from the list of links from google I caught a glimps of "US Fidelis is a scam" from one of the other links listed on the page. I backed out of the US Fidelis web page fast and started looking, and I am glad I did. Thank you all for telling it like it is you saved me lots of money. Question, has anyone found a warranty that is good?

Before you do business with US FIDELIS, I BEG YOU TO READ THIS…………I USED TO WORK THERE! I could go into so much more about this company but I am praying that you will read this entire post and it will be enough information to trust that I am doing this in hopes of saving people from being scammed.

**** US FIDELIS is now advertising
their CAR WARRANTIES on
TELEVISION COMMERCIALS****

Please notice that I have backed up this content with
web sites from government websites and organizations that protect consumers. I also have links from media sources.

PEOPLE DO YOUR HOMEWORK! DO A SEARCH AT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU for DEALER SERVICES…THEY ARE NOW US FIDELIS and they HAVE A GRADE OF ** F ** A+ is the highest, F is the lowest; just like an academic report card.

Don’t believe me? Go to the Better Business Bureau’s website and do a search. If you need to narrow down your search, go to the St. Louis area of the BBB site. Wentzville is on the outskirts of the St. Louis Metro area. They are at 100 Mall Parkway and also 200 Mall Parkway in WENTZVILLE, MO.
http://stlouis.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=142&bbb=0734&firm=310016763

“The BBB has received numerous complaints regarding this extended vehicle service contract broker. Complainants primarily allege difficulty cancelling policies and obtaining refunds, misleading advertisements, misleading, high pressure or improper sales tactics, poor customer service, failure to pay for vehicle repairs, difficulty contacting the company, misrepresentation of coverage, harassing phone calls and failure to remove names from mailing lists. These complaint patterns are reflected in the complaint statistics below.”

Scroll down to Business Contact and Profile and you will see all the names this company uses. http://stlouis.app.bbb.org/report/310016763?noskin&fax=Y

I was shocked when I found out that US Fidelis will be sponsoring Rusty Wallace racing for 35 NASCAR races. Steve Wallace, Rusty’s son will be driving the US Fidelis car. I cannot imagine why his business …Rusty Wallace Racing…would do business with US Fidelis when they are under investigation by several state Attorney General’s; most notably the one in their own state…Missouri. See the link below.

Rusty--- go to the Missouri Attorney General Website and to the Better Business Bureau of the St. Louis Area and look who you are dealing with!

http://www.consumer.ago.mo.gov/Know_MO/

You will see that they are also US FIDELIS and NAWS and NATIONAL AUTO WARRANTY SERVICES; and THE ATKINSON GROUP OF COMPANIES. The company changed its name to US FIDELIS because Of bad publicity. They have been investigated and fined by the MISSOURI ATTORNEY GENERAL’S office as well as ARIZONA’S and no doubt several others.

http://ago.mo.gov/newsreleases/2008/030608.htm
The name of the company at that time…..National Auto Warranty Services of Wentzville, MO

Postcards sent out from Dealer Services/NAWS/US Fidelis can be seen in the links below. They had a special group of employees that worked calls that came in as a result of these cards. 90% of the people who called were under the impression that these cards were from their car manufacturer. I know; as I worked in this group for about 3 months.

Channel 13 News in Jefferson City, MO:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23147777/

ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE reports on the company who has changed their name to US FIDELIS…Notice the cards are all the same.

Here is a document on the Missouri Secretary of State’s website to prove that
this company is in fact owned by the Atkinson brother’s:
http://www.sos.mo.gov/imaging/18755163.pdf
Notice the 100 Mall Parkway address; sometimes the address will be 200 Mall
Parkway; depending on the correspondence and if they are using National
Auto Warranty Services or US Fidelis.

Here is something else…..the building that NAWS/DEALER SERVICES/US FIDELIS is in …the owners also opened an alcohol free nightclub called EXODUS. Funded no doubt by the money they have made using unethical and possibly illegal business practices.

“Darain and Cory Atkinson own US Fidelis in Wentzville, Missouri. Out of the blessings from their business, it was their desire to do something significant that would honor God and be purposeful to the community. From this desire, the EXODUS concept was formed.” http://exodusstl.com/documents/staff.html

This statement almost sickens me. I have seen first-hand the unethical business tactics used to make “the owners” money. It would be better fitting to say the
Business practices are sleazy and underhanded. They target the elderly and undereducated people and use strong arm business tactics. How can they
keep a clear conscience? Moreover, sales people acquire banking and credit card information by creating a sense of urgency….”Buy it now or you won’t get this great offer again.” This is the standard sales tactic. The sales people avoid
informing the potential customers of the fine print in the warranty such as ridiculously long waiting “transition” periods before the warranty can actually be used. Because the sales people work for commission only, they will avoid They will process the banking or credit card information before a customer gives the ok to continue so that they (the salesperson) will have the “deal”. This is very common towards the end of the month when the salesperson needs to reach a level for a bonus or to make more commission (they are paid per “deal”).

The Atkinson brothers also provide space for their church in the building. It is
non-denominational and is called ‘The Element’. Ironically, the majority of the
US Fidelis management attends THE ELEMENT church. This church is very much like a cult, focusing on money and success. Watch the QUICK TIME presentation at the website below. There is a married couple on this video in which the husband is an assistant manager and the wife is
a manager at the newly named “US Fidelis”. They are the bi-racial couple (and please note that I am only stating that they are bi-racial to point out who they are….I am not being prejudiced.
