Stoneberry I have not been treated fairly in terms of the credit has allowed me

I have been a good customer for Stoneberry for about eight years. Initially, I was provided with $750 credit limit. But somewhere along the way your system started tracking my account as if there were 2 accounts in my name. One of your representatives accused me of trying to cheat. I obviously denied this and with further study of these accounts they contained the exact same data such as the e-mail address, my street address , same forms of payment. The mistake was made on your side. When the representative acknowledge that the mistake was on the company's you would think they would apologize but no way. So the result is my credit limit was lowered as a punishment.

Desired outcome: I think my credit limit should be set a higher limit such as $1000. Check my payment history I do not miss payments

Stoneberry Fraud - Opened Account - Sharing Financial Information

STONEBERRY stole financial information to open an account on my behalf. Then sent some piece of crap jewelry along with an invoice at a high price. I believe they steal financial information, open an account, then send some product and bill you. They will scrape even more financial information when you call them stating you received their crap merchandise.

Just received a letter from Stoneberry where they will share Social Security number and other financial information, address, credit history and scores. Are they that desperate for money?

Desired outcome: Remove my information from your database. I don't want to receive any communication or SHARE MY INFORMATION.

Stoneberry Fraud account opened with them under my name

No one could help and after 5 months and getting a different person and directions of what to do, apparently my account has never been flagged or investigated a Fraudulent which was done on 1/23/23 by me with an email to prove it. Now I am starting over again with another amount on my account which I asked to be closed on 1/23/2023 also. This company is crap and there should be a class action law suite about their shotty business.

Stoneberry Fraud account opened in my name

I received an email 1/17/23 an account had been opened and product shipped. I contacted them 1/23/23 to address it as did not check emails until this date. I was informed it would be marked fraud, paperwork would be sent to me, and I asked the account be closed as it was not me. They informed me the product was sent to the east coast and I informed them I lived on the west coast and it was not me. I have never had or intended to ever have a stone berry account as not familiar with their company.

I continued to receive bills and when I called in February to inquire about not receiving the information they promised was told to disregard the bills as it was being dealt with.

In March I called again spoke with a manager and they assured me they would reverse the hit on my credit report and that it was being resolved.

I called 5/31/23 and was informed I can not receive information on my account unless I provide them with my DOB and last 4 of my SS#. I informed them I am not going to provide that information as I have not given them permission or provided them with that information previously. They said they could not help me and my balance was $70.97 which is down from the $400 and change it was originally. The credit department would talk to me and said most of the charges have been reversed but customer service would need to make it a 0 balance. Hence where I am now as customer service will not give me information unless I provide them with me dob and ss#. I have filed a fraud alert with the government web page and sent stone berry the letter that was generated. This is the only hit on my credit report and no other accounts have been opened. I do not know how they accepted all this credit for the scammer without my dob and ss# as the previous manager aknowledged that they did not need that to open a credit account or hit my credit report to open this line of credit the scammer did.

Desired outcome: Account closed, 0 balance and nothing about this company on my credit report.

Stoneberry Stoneberry's Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy on Out-of-Stock Items

So, I wanted to get myself the latest HP laptop and decided to order it from Stoneberry. They were asking for some down payment, but it seemed ok to me. After all, it was not a big amount and I was thrilled to get my hands on that sweet laptop.

So, I made the payment using my debit card and got a confirmation email too, which made me really happy. Then, out of the blue, they send me another email saying that the laptop was out of stock and they can't proceed with my order anymore. Seriously? That's how they play it? I was really bummed and frustrated.

To add to my misery, they charged me for the down payment the next day itself. I was hoping that I'll get my refund soon, but it never happened. I waited for 3 days and nothing happened. So, I decided to call them up and ask what's going on. That's when they told me that I need to wait for a check which will take about 8-10 business days.

But hey, guess what? Their website had clearly mentioned that if I paid by credit card, I would get a refund within the billing cycle. And I had paid by card. They were playing some really strange games with my money and trust.

It's been 2 weeks now and I still haven't received my refund. But you know what I did get? A paper notice asking me to make a down payment on my order which can't even be processed now! What kind of business are they running? I'm totally done with these people. I don't think I'll ever order anything from Stoneberry again.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Multiple Order Cancellations and Frustrating Payment Process

You know, y'all, I'm just about ready to toss Stoneberry out the window, never to be seen again. It's been one hassle after another with these folks. I put in an order for some things I needed, and all of a sudden, the order is cancelled. What the heck, man? This is like the fourth time it's happened to me, and they don't even have the decency to tell me why they did it. I get an email that tells me "We were unable to process your order". Uh, excuse me? I want to know WHY, dang it! So I called them up and asked what the heck was going on, and what do they tell me? I have to send in proof of residency. Seriously, Stoneberry? You're going to hold up my order for that? I mean, I didn't have any issues with my first order, but now they cancel orders left and right, it's like they don't even care. It's especially frustrating because they keep offering me a credit limit of $750.00, but you better believe I'm not touching that with a ten-foot pole. I'll make my first payment of $9.99 and then I'm out. Oh, but that's not all! I had to make a down payment of $7.63 for an order, and then they sent me a letter telling me I have to make ANOTHER down payment of $7.63. Excuse me, but I already paid that! What, do they think I'm made of money or something? I'm telling you, it's just one thing after another with these guys. I'm not using them anymore, no sir.

Stoneberry Stoneberry's "Protection Plan" is a rip-off - A customer's warning

Dang it, I'm real ticked off 'bout Stoneberry right now. I shelled out an extra $19 for this "protection plan" thing for my Fitbit versa. Paid full price, mind you, $299. So imagine my surprise when I found out that I ain't gettin' none of the protection or help fixing my watch. Stoneberry ain't even authorized by Fitbit, so when I went to go get help directly from Fitbit, they said they couldn't help me 'cause I got my Fitbit from Stoneberry. But when I asked Stoneberry what was up, they told me that if Fitbit can't help, then they'll apply the protection plan. What kind of crap is that? This so-called protection plan ain't nothin' but a flimflam to get us to cough up more dough with no guarantee of actually protecting what we bought. See, Stoneberry ain't authorized or nothin', so they ain't got the same protection and warranties as name brands do. I'm super bummed that I threw away my bucks, credit, and time on Stoneberry, a company that can't even do right by their customers. I'm done with 'em, and I ain't recommendin' 'em to nobody.

Stoneberry Stoneberry: Terrible Customer Service and Credit Practices

I've had dealings with Stoneberry for a good couple of years now. It's actually made up of four companies - crazy, right? But here's the kicker: over 10 years ago, someone ordered something using my name and details, and it ended up with me owing them over $200. That's right - not a great start to my relationship with them.

Anyway, fast forward a few years and I've been ordering stuff from them on credit quite frequently. I'm talking $2,000 worth of stuff, guys. I'm always good with my payments, and often pay over the amount I'm meant to, just to be extra safe. But then, when I tried to put in an order and was asked to pay the full amount up front, I was pretty confused.

So I contact Stoneberry and they put me through to the credit department. Let me tell you, that woman was one nasty piece of work. Rude, hateful, and just plain horrible. She tells me my credit has been terminated until I cough up that $200 I supposedly owe them from before. And I'm there, like, "Hold up. Why on earth did you let me go on ordering all this stuff on credit for years, if I owe you money that isn't even mine?"

The real kicker though? She tells me I need to fork over the cash before I can order from them again. Talk about a sour taste in your mouth. I wouldn't recommend dealing with Stoneberry if their staff are going to be treating people like that.

Stoneberry Stoneberry: A Credit Score Disaster - My Experience & Why I Won't Use It Again

Man, let me tell you about my experience with Stoneberry. I swear on my life, I will never use that site again. I even made sure to pay off the tiny item I got from them ASAP. I'm not playing around with this. I signed up with them not even a month ago, and I already regret it. They straight-up lied, saying that signing up wouldn't affect my credit score. But oh no, it did. It freaking brought it down by 15 points! Stoneberry apparently does a hard inquiry, which is some straight-up garbage. And to make matters worse, they don't even report to credit bureaus on monthly payments. So, even though I had an account with them, it didn't do anything to help my credit.

I'm usually pretty careful when it comes to this stuff, but I wanted to try something other than Fingerhut for once. Big mistake. At least Fingerhut has been good to me since day one. When I had no credit, they helped me get started, and in 3-4 months, I went from nothing to a 620 credit score. And that's progress, baby. Nothing's gone wrong since I've had an account with them, and my credit score kept going up.

But thanks to Stoneberry, that 15-point drop really messed up my stride. I'm not taking any chances with other credit-building websites anymore. I barely even trust credit cards, but at least they're a bit faster when it comes to building credit. Stoneberry can kick rocks, yo.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Frustrating Payment Mishap and Poor Customer Service

So, I gotta tell you guys about my experience with Stoneberry. I was pretty stoked to finally find a place that could help me rebuild my credit. I got approved for some credit with them, and decided to order a few things. So far, so good. But then, my first payment rolled around - and let me tell you, I was determined to make it on time.

Now, it was already late on a Friday night when I finally sat down to pay. There were two options for paying: minimum payment and full balance. I had to be extra careful to make sure I clicked the right circle (I'm not always the most tech-savvy person, haha!). After a couple of tries, I thought I finally had it - I clicked the minimum payment option, which was $28.99.

But then, things started to go downhill. The payment wouldn't go through the first time, so I hit "submit" again. And again. Suddenly, I checked my bank account - and saw that the whole freaking balance had been taken out! And just like that, $436 that I didn't have to spare was gone, baby. Like, what the hell?!

So, obviously, I freaked out and immediately called Stoneberry's customer service. But damn, they gave me the runaround like nobody's business. I even talked to my bank, thinking they would be able to help me - but they just told me I had to go back to Stoneberry. I spent like hours on the phone and online chat with them, trying to get the payment reversed or refunded.

Long story short, it didn't work. And to make matters worse, I emailed Stoneberry about it like they told me to, and they didn't even get back to me within the promised 24 hours. Bruh. I'm still waiting. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed in the whole situation. The money being taken messed up a lot of things for me - and honestly, I had actually been excited to make payments and start to build up my credit again.

So, if you're thinking about checking out Stoneberry, I guess my advice would be to proceed with caution. Like, I know I'm not perfect and maybe I messed up something with the payment. But it shouldn't have been this hard to get help fixing the problem, you know? All I can do now is file a dispute and cross my fingers that things work out.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Poor Customer Service and Overpriced Products

So, guys, Stoneberry is one freaky website to deal with if you're an old-school lady like my great grandma. She's been trying to snap up some cool things for us from their site but, boy, it's been a hassle. At first, we helped her set up her account and ordered stuff, but they went and cancelled it without telling us why. Well, maybe we thought maybe it was because she was sending it to our address, so we changed the shipping and went again for another try - but no dice! It was cancelled, again. This time, they even called her and talked her through it, but still, they cancelled the darn thing!

By this time, my grandma was boiling over, bless her soul. She called them again, and they put her on hold for an eternity, and when they finally answered, they asked for some ridiculous proof of residency. I mean, come on, she doesn't live alone, she lives with her daughter, my aunt! So they told her to get a note from my aunt saying that she does in fact live there. How stupid is that, when my grandma can vouch for herself just fine? The worst part was the supervisor who was supervising nothing, and her attitude totally stank! I could hear her in the background, and she was no help at all!

What's even worse is their prices! These guys sell their stuff at almost double the price of other stores. Take their step2 train table, for instance. It's selling at a whopping $190, while on amazon, you can bag it for a measly $106! Don't waste your time, guys - Stoneberry is garbage!

Stoneberry Stoneberry's Shipping and Service - A Total Mess

Man, let me tell ya, Stoneberry has been one big mess for me. I've basically been in an ongoing battle with them since February. I tried to order an above ground pool, which their website said was in stock and would be shipping in April. But then, the shipping date kept changing until they said it wouldn't even ship until July 15th! Nah, man, that ain't cool. I'm not about to wait 5 months for something that was supposed to be ready to go. And I definitely can't wait until mid-summer for a dang pool! So, I cancelled that order real quick.

I should have just cut my losses and moved on, but I'm stubborn and decided to give Stoneberry another try. I ordered two pairs of running shoes in early April. One pair shipped out on April 13th and the other one two weeks later. And you know what? I still don't have either pair! The first pair hasn't moved since April 23rd (it's May 11th now), and I've tried to get Stoneberry to help me out, but they won't do anything. They just keep giving me excuses. I mean, come on, man! These shoes weren't cheap, and I opted for the payment plan. But there's no way I'm paying for something until it's actually in my hands.

Stoneberry's shipping charges are ridiculous, too. They charge way too much for it to be such a headache. I'm done with them, for real. Ain't no way I'm giving them any more of my money.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Don't Waste Your Money - Customer Service Mistakes and Payment Issues

So I decided to try Stoneberry, and boy was that a mistake! They took my whole payment from my bank account, confirmed it, and then suddenly out of nowhere, cancelled my order! Naturally, I tried to get in touch with their customer service, only to be told that it was just a mistake. Okay, fine, mistakes happen. But then, they couldn't even send me what I ordered because it was "out of stock," which is completely absurd. So I asked for a refund of the amount they had already taken from me, but they said they couldn't give it back! Can you believe it? They have my money and I have nothing.

I was so mad that I reported them to my bank's fraud line. It's just not right that a company can take someone's full payment and then not give them what they paid for. It's like they were stealing from me, which is not okay. I'm never using Stoneberry again, and I suggest you don't either.

I talked to their customer service, and they told me that a lot of the representatives there make these kinds of mistakes. That's just not acceptable. If they can't do their job right, then they shouldn't be hired in the first place. It's not fair to customers like me who just wanted to buy something online without being cheated out of our money.

I've shopped online plenty of times before, but I've never had a problem like this. It's frustrating to know that there are people out there who only care about taking your money and not giving you what you paid for. So, be careful when you use Stoneberry. You might get someone like I did who doesn't know what they're doing and ends up costing you money. It's not worth it, trust me.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Greedy Con Artists with Shady Practices and Poor Customer Service

So, my old man thought it was a good idea to hit up Stoneberry for a few extra treats for our girls around Christmastime. We've got this rad tradition of getting them fresh blankets each year, and Stoneberry had some fierce deals on ones we were eyeing up. Instead of being weirdos who scamper around stores, we decided to buy online and payed for ALL of it upfront, just like responsible adults. The first time we bought stuff, things were all good in the hood. We got one blanket and it showed up on time and whatnot. But the second time, we got a little carried away and ordered 5! You know how it goes. After my man clicked all the buttons to finalize the order, we got this shady email saying that 4 of the blankets we ordered were on backorder and weren't hitting our doorstep until February, which is a total joke. Those were supposed to be our girls' Christmas presents! I tried calling right away, but they left me waiting on the line for 35 torturous minutes. When someone finally answered, they were straight up nasty to me. I asked them to please be a pal and cancel the order because we needed those blankets in time for the holidays. But the haters said it couldn't be helped and hung up on me! I couldn't be having that so I called right back and had to listen to their dial tone for another 45 minutes. When I finally got in touch with someone, they were a little nicer, but not by much. I filled them in on what was up and they told me they could only refund one of the blankets because it was already in transit. But come on, I'm not a fool. No company that big can really rush to social distance themselves and ship things out instantaneously. My biggest beef though, is that my man only ordered a $13 blanket and they charged us for shipping on the full order, even the items that were on backorder. The blanket cost us nearly $40 after all was said and done, and we couldn't get the shipping refunded. Top it all off, the first order was placed on December 8th, and the second one was placed on December 10th. By the 14th we got an email saying everything was shipped out and on its way! But, when I try to track it, I get this whack message saying that the shipping label was made, but the package is still hanging out with Stoneberry and won't even make it to FedEx until December 28th. That's way past Christmas! Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. Stoneberry is just a bunch of greedy con artists.

Stoneberry Stoneberry.com Product Review: Overpriced and Flimsy, Skip it and Save Your Money

So, my girlfriend got hooked on Stoneberry.com and honestly, I just don't see what the fuss is about. We needed an air mattress and sure, Stoneberry had 'em, but they were pricier than my unemployment check. And don't even get me started on the shipping rates and processing fees - it's like they were just waiting to gouge us.

Anyway, we went through five of those air mattresses in 2018 alone. FIVE. And all because of one tiny little hole. It's like they're made to be disposable or something. And when they were down, they were down for good - straight to the dumpster they went.

And let me tell you about the radio she got me from Stoneberry. It's like they took extra care to make sure it was flimsy and easy to break. The buttons? Please. Those things practically fell off on their own. And don't even get me started on the CD player - it ate every disc we put in there like it was a bottomless pit.

But the real kicker here is their return policy. Let's just say it's not exactly a walk in the park. And what's worse, there's hardly anything worth buying in their catalog. I mean, come on folks, step up your game.

And to top it all off, Stoneberry doesn't offer a good hardship program. I was hoping to pay for our purchases incrementally, but no such luck.

All in all, I'd say skip Stoneberry and save yourself the hassle and the money.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Disappointing Company Charging Exorbitant Fees

Man, let me tell you, I have never been so disappointed with a company as I have with Stoneberry. It's like they're trying to rob me blind! First of all, they charge an arm and a leg for shipping, and then have the nerve to make me pay to ship things back to them. I mean, seriously, do they think I'm made of money?

So, I thought I'd give them a chance and order a grill from them. They wanted to charge me almost 200 bucks for it, and then tacked on another 50 for shipping! Are you kidding me?! I found the same grill at Home Depot for only 119 bucks. What a rip off!

They had promised me that my grill would be shipped on a certain date, but then I went online and saw that it was on backorder. What the actual heck?! They never even bothered to give me a heads up about it. And then, to make matters worse, I checked a few weeks later and it was still on backorder! So now I have to wait another whole month just to get my dang grill.

Honestly, I'm so fed up with Stoneberry that I'm thinking about canceling my order altogether and telling them to go kick rocks. I'm better off just going to Home Depot and getting my grill there. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from these guys!

Stoneberry Unreliable Delivery and Terrible Customer Service at Stoneberry.com

So, I gotta vent about this website Stoneberry.com. I ordered a drone for my grandson on Nov 28th and it's freaking Dec 18th and he still doesn't have it! I called up their customer service to see what was up but had to wait on hold for a whole dang hour! Ain't nobody got time fo' dat! But, shoot, I wanted to make sure my grandson had his drone by Christmas, so I stuck it out.

When I finally got through to someone, they told me that the tracker showed it was delivered but I had never received it. They said they could send out another one that I had ordered, but then they sent me some random item that I didn't even want! I explain all this to the lady on the phone and ask if they can send another drone and I'd even pay for it, but she tells me it won't get here in time for Christmas. Plus, she was cutting me off left and right and being real sassy with me - like it was my fault they screwed up!

Honestly, I'm pretty ticked off. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them for Christmas, but once I pay off my balance, I ain't never shopping at Stoneberry again. They're too hard to get a hold of and when they mess up, they act like it's your fault. Heads up, y'all - don't shop here unless you feel like waiting on hold for an hour and getting treated like garbage!

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Misleading Ads, Poor Customer Service, No Help Building Credit

So, let me tell you about my experience shopping on Stoneberry. I was on the hunt for an Xbox One S with a 1 terabyte hard drive and Gears of War games, and stumbled upon them on Stoneberry's website for $500. I must admit, the price initially caught my eye, and when I saw that there was no down payment and only $23 a month, I thought I had hit the jackpot!

But, that excitement quickly faded away when I got a call from Stoneberry asking me a few general questions for credit monitoring. The lady on the phone was quite rude, cut me off multiple times, and didn't seem to care about being polite. She simply instructed me to check back tomorrow within 24 hours to see the status of my order. I mean, a little customer service never hurts anyone, right?

Well, the next day I checked the status of my order and was surprised to find out that they wanted $250 for down payment and $37 a month. Hold up, what happened to the $23 a month with no down payment that was advertised? I felt like I was misled and frustrated that I had wasted my time on this site.

On top of that, I had heard rumors that Stoneberry didn't actually help build credit, and my experience confirmed that they in fact did not. I'm grateful that I used a prepaid card that couldn't be overdrafted because I've read unfortunate accounts of them taking money out of people's accounts.

Overall, my experience with Stoneberry was disappointing. Misleading advertisements, poor customer service, and inability to help build credit left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend shopping here, there are better options out there.

Stoneberry Stoneberry Review: Late Delivery and Misspelled Monogram

So, I wanted to get my son a monogram blanket for his graduation on May 16 and I ordered it from Stoneberry. The lady on the phone said it was gonna take 5 to 7 business days, so I was cool with it. But then, the item had not been shipped even after 7 days. So, I was like, "yo, what's up with that?" and I called them again. This time, they told me to give it an extra 5 days. Well, I gave it even more time than that and still no sign of the blanket.

At this point, I was getting real impatient, especially since my son's graduation was coming up. When I called them again, the lady on the phone said to give it another 10 days! What the heck, man? That's not what I was told at the beginning. If I had known that, I would've went somewhere else.

Finally, the blanket arrived on June 15th, which is about a week and a half after my son's graduation. And guess what? My son's name was spelled wrong on it! Seriously, Stoneberry? I was so mad that I wanted to send it back, but my son just decided to keep it since it was a gift for him.

Overall, I gotta say that I'm hella disappointed in Stoneberry. They aren't very professional at all. This is gonna be my last time ordering from them.

Stoneberry Nightmare Experience with Stoneberry: Fraudulent Account and Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, my experience with Stoneberry was a straight up nightmare. I mean, I ain't never even heard of these people before they showed up on my credit report with some bogus inquiry. Somebody had gone and opened an account in my name and it turned out they were using Stoneberry to do it. What a mess!

So, I did what any reasonable person would do and tried to get in touch with Stoneberry to get this all sorted out. Let me tell ya, that was like trying to wrangle an alligator with one hand tied behind my back! I sent three (count 'em, three!) emails and TWO snail mail letters, and still no response. And don't even get me started on trying to call customer service. I was on hold for like an hour at a time, getting bounced around from one rep to another. I had to tell my story like a broken record every dang time.

Finally, Stoneberry got their act together (sorta). They told me they'd refund my money within 30 days and that my account was closed. I even talked to a supervisor in the credit department who said he'd sent a form to the credit agency to recall the inquiry. But I ain't holding my breath, if you know what I mean.

All in all, I gotta say I would NOT recommend Stoneberry to anybody. If you're smart, you'll freeze your credit reports with all three big credit agencies and keep an eye on your credit like a hawk. Trust me, you don't want to deal with what I went through with these guys.

I am dealing with the exact thing right now, as this happened to me 1/17/23...what a shotty company! They are asking me for my DOB and SS# or they won't help me...BS. Each person I take to tells me something different.
