ResVpure THEFT by Deception

After seeing an "ad" placed on the edge of the online news site for a while, a Sample Trial for $2.94, I decided to try on 6/23/09. After clicking the page, my sister & I were directly taken to the page where name/shipping address/phone number/email address/etc to be filled in. Next, the page took my credit card information and "Order" button was right there on the same page. At this time there was not urgent need felt to locate & visit their website. I can tell you that there was no such thing as "terms & conditions" posted at that order taking site.

A small package arrioved on 7/7 09. The sample bottle did not look like a sample but surely was a regular quantity of 60 capsules and did not try. But they refuse to take back. I insisted on returning. Nancy said that she would take it back but no money back. THEFT BY DECEPTION!
They say that it was not a sample that was sent. I ordered for trial sample!
They posted an ad for a trial sample but sent me a non-sample product and stole my money!

After the sample arrival, the thief took $85.26 twice out of my bank account.
Being upset, I searched the thief's website but they do not disclose their physical address.

Unauthorized debiting was requested from Delaware (DE) location but the customer service is in Utah.
Nacy refused give me physical address by eluding several times. After pressuring the woman (Nacy) I finally extracted the address to be 224 South Main ST, #400 Springville, UT 84663. Can anyone verify it?

We should file a CLASS-ACTION LAW SUIT. Does anyone know a good attorney?

My email: [protected]@gmail.com

OK, I was scammed into a free trial SOMEHOW during a transaction trying to buy some vitamins online and have no idea how? A bottle came with the vitamins and stupid me thought, 'oh, look something I didn't order', went to the receipt and next the ResV Pure it said 00.00 for no charge so I said to myself 'oh, it’s a freebee, no biggee'. Well low and behold; I get another bottle with NO PAPERWORK inside the plastic mailer at all! There is a help.resvpure.com which all the links coma back to the same exact page with a phone number. Customer Support Phone: 866.982.5127. CALL IT AND STAY ON HOLD! BE PATIENT!Do NOT leave a message because you will never get a callback. I had to call several times and got an actual person by the name of ASHLEY. Make sure you get a cancellation email as well

NOTE! Ask the service representative for EVERYTHING they have you signed up for! I WAS SIGNED UP FOR 4 things at a total of around 150.00 month! I had them cancel them ALL! BEWARE!

These are not the first to do this, there are tons of them. READ THE FINE PRINT and TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON EVERYTHING!

ResVpure unauthorized banking charges

I fell for the trap of ordering a free sample of ResVpure. Gave my debit card number. Received the free sample and now every month this company is charging my bank account $85.00. I REFUSED THE PRODUCT, SENT IT BACK AND THEY STILL BILL MY ACCOUNT. These shysters are slick...cannot find any telephone number for them on line. If I put resvpure into google a youthresvpure telephone number comes up. When you call that number, they claim they are not the company in question...this is a scam people, do not purchase any samples, or the product. I tried the product it was all a lie. If anyone knows the phone number for resvpure, please supply. If you call your bank they want to charge you $50.00 to stop payment and that is only for 6 months. I was told this company will put you into collection if you do not permit the payment. Where is the FDA, where is the AG of the US, protecting citizens from these scams? any information please send to: [protected]@yahoo.com.

ResVpure Trial product

BIG SCAM WITH RESVPURE

I have ordered two trail offers for 3.58 each on my credit card on May 24, 2009. The company sent a confirmation immediatly.
On June 4, I received only one product I sent two e-mails to the company letting them know I did not receive the other and they did not reply. When I check with the credit card company they already debit my card including the exchange over $90.00 because I am in Canada. On June 8, 2008 I received the other product from a Canadian address. I called them on June 9, to enquire why did they debit my card without my permission they comfirmed the $3.58 by e-mail, but they did not confirm the other over $90.00. They are trying to say it was ten days trial period, but yet still I got the product after ten days . How could I cancel something I did not received. They refuse to give me my refund. Someone please let me know who in the states I can lodge this complaint to leagally.

ResVpure FIRST SUPPORT SOLUTIONS

I ordered a free sample of Resvpure. I had not even had time to take the 10 free samples when an additional order arrived and $85.26 was charged to my credit card. I could not find a way to contact the company until I received my credit card bill and it contained a telephone number to contact. BEWARE, you only have 30 days from the date of the original order to cancel the AUTOMATIC subscription for the product. Watch for the small writing where you fill out your credit card number, that states this is what they will do. After 30 days they will not give you a credit or take back the product back. Dishonest sales techniques. The product just leaves a bad taste now because of the unscrupulous tactics.

I ordered the free sample of Resvpure off the internet. What a joke! They charged me full price in few days and refuse to refund my money saying there was a clause that you had 40 days to file. Then there was another charge for improved health for the same charge and again no refund. This free sample ended up costing me $262.60. Do NOT go on this website to try a sample of this product or you will get stuck with unrefundable charges.

These people are criminals taking money under false pretenses, even failing to deliver. The are commiting fraud in violatioion of federal interstate commerce, and are subject to federal criminal prosecution. They are believed to beelieved to be members of a rogue gang of Latter Day Saints in Utah. The probably think their remove location will ensure their safety from the FBI and other federal authoritiesw. They need to go to jail.

I cancelled the plan and they still tried to bill ne $5.95 for their newsletter which I never received. I called them and they said it was a non-fundable charge ... tell American Express that. They immediately refunded the charge. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY -- THEY WILL TRY TO KEEP CHARGING YOU THE MONTHLY FEE OF $5.95 FOR THEIR NON-EXISTANT NEWLETTER.

I don't know why I keep getting these bottles of resVpure. I called the company a long time ago and advised them, to stop any further shipments. They in turn told me. That, they had not sent me the products. There was a company using their name? and sending a generic form of their resvpure.
I want to know who to contact about this. So it can stop once and for all

I filed a complaint with the Utah Consumer Protection Dept.

As in other complaints listed on this board they misled and then overcharged for the product. The FREE trial was a bait & switch. This company is bad news all around.

There are too many companies using this tactic to make FREE offers and then set up unauthorized automatic charges to credit cards.

ResVpure Unauthorized charge

I ordered the "free Trial Sample" agreed to pay the $3.50 shipping charge. The charge went through but I still have not received my sample. Today I logged onto my bank account and see a pending $85.00 charge to Resvpure for a product order. I have not even received my sample and I certainly did not order any product. I called the 866 number only to reach a recording that I have called outside of their "live support" hours. So now I have to wait until Monday to dispute this.

Do not Order from this company.

Final upate on my original complaint.
Before I go into this I must say that I am shocked at how many people have had this same situation occur since my original post. While I believe consumers can be naieve at times I do not believe that we are all stupid and in this case we just got sucked into quite a scam. After the final resolution of my situation I do believe this company operates just above the law, there are no ethical business standards here. We have all gotten pulled into this under the guise of trying to lose a little weight, get a little extra energy or whatever the reasons it was ordered. So now we all walk away a little wiser and certainly alot more distrusting of businesses. Honestly I can do without the later..
Having said that once I received my paid shipment I went to the post office purchased supplies and tracking services for my package. Additionally, once I wrapped the package and addressed it I took a clear picture of it with my cell phone. You see I believe when a company operates as this one has there is nothing they will not do to perpetuate the scam and therefore it's now in my best interest to protect myself from a "mismarked" or "lost/missing" package. So off goes my $9.00 package with tracking. In the meantime I received a response from the B.B.B saying that the parent company of ResVPure was no longer going to respond to the BBB complaints as "they" being the parent company of ResVPure do not feel that the BBB has responded to the company reasonably and given them a satisfactory rating eventhough they settled over 300 cases with the BBB. WHAT? Over 300 complaints with the Utah BBB? This is crazy and now I know it's not just me. So they closed the case because there was nothing more that could be done. The company just decided it wouldn't honor my request through the BBB so I had no choice but to respond that I was satisfied as I knew I had already sent back the full un-opened bottle and would at some point receive my refund.
After about 3 weeks I did but not before I received an email from "Customer Service" saying that they processed my refund but it could take up to an additional 30 days for my bank to process it. It took 3...

Note to self, shop the old fashion way or if you have to shop on-line do it with a reputable company only!

I would advise you to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as I did. Its all done on-line.

Update on my on-going situation. Amazingly enough while it took ResVpure 11 days to send out my "free sample" I received the $85.00 shipment within three days (last Wednesday.) So upon receipt that same day I turned around and mailed the un-opened bottle right back with a certified mail USPS ($9.00) and have yet to get my credit back to my bank account (it is now the following Tuesday.) I imagine they will take their time in getting my money back to me.

Here is my final point, some of the comments above state that "when the consumer fails to read the Terms and Conditions.." I did not order my sample on-line, ResVPure called me and within that conversation no one read the Terms and Conditions to me or made any mention about such Terms and Conditions. There was no on-line exchange in order for me to "fail to review "and/or agree to said "Terms and Conditions." Had I been made aware of this "process" I certainly would not be so blindsided by an $85.00 charge and would weather this ordeal knowingly. Had I simply made a mistake by not canceling within the time frame that I knew I had I would just wait for the shipment and send it back and just chalk this up to being a busy mom and forgetting.

However, that is not what happened. This company does business in a VERY shady, borderline unethical way. ResVPure is banking on you not reading the 6 paragraphs of Terms and Conditions as many people do not do when ordering on-line. Many people assume that you are getting what you signed up for and nothing else. ResVPure buries their revenue process in an almost hidden button on the bottom of their web page. It's not fair and it's not right. Clearly this company is not too concerned with doing what is fair and what is right. This has been quite a lesson for me and hopefully for others. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to this ordeal. I feel that if ResVpure is so confident in their product and its results that there should be no reason to pull this type of bait and switch on their consumers. Clearly in order to generate consumers ResVPure has to do it in a VERY sneaky way and that just is not right.

While my husband and I are not poor we certainly have just enough to get by. We have a baby to care for and our $85.00 may be a drop in the bucket for ResVPure but it certainly can buy alot for my family. I just want my money back now and want to walk away from this ordeal a little wiser. Please just be aware of companies like ResVPure, they are so much more than they seem.

Update from my complaint:
So I did some research over the weekend on the Resvpure website. In their Terms and Conditions it is stated that if you do not cancel your account within 10 days of ordering your "Free Trial Sample" you are automatically enrolled in their Monthly Shipment program which is $85.00 a month AS WELL AS their monthly newsletter which is an additional $ 5.95 a month.

Here is my HUGE problem with this shady business practice. Originally I filled out the form on-line but canceled the page out when I saw I needed to pay for shipping. When going to cancel the page I was them prompted that I could pay a lesser shipping charge if I still wanted the free trial. I still canceled. About 1 - 2 days later I received a phone call from Resvpure asking why I didnt complete my order for the Free Sample and if I still wanted it they could process it at that time for the $ 3.95 shipping. I agreed and when I gave my credit card number to the sales rep I asked her if this was a secure transaction as I was on a cell phone. She said yes and that as soon as she submitted the charge it was complete. She confirmed my address but at NO POINT did she say anything about these Terms and Conditions including that I had 10 days before I was roped into this Monthly plan. This telephone call and my order for the Free Sample was placed on April 14.
So what do you know, Saturday April 25 rolls around still no Free Sample but alas I have a pending charge on my bank account for $85.00. So I tried 5 separate times to contact this company this morning. All calls were either lost or disconnected. Finally I called from my home number and was able to get through. When I finally got a rep on the phone I very calmly told her I wanted my money back and that as the charge was showing as still pending I didnt see how it could have miraculously gone through and the product been shipped out. All in two days which happen to be a weekend and no bank charges go through as well as no shipping will go out. Of course the reps response was a canned script about the Terms and Conditions. When I told her that the phone call did not ever include an explanation of the Terms and Conditions she told me that I was mistaken as they have a script that is follwed. When I told her that I hadnt even received my sample until the 11th day and why would I have canceled anything as I didnt know anything about the product, the rep said "well we have customers that do it all of the time I dont know why you didnt."
At the end of it of course my order has already been authorized and shipped. Apparently they work so efficiently that when your 10 days are up they are right there (weekend or weekday) with your Monthly shipment ready to be sent as well as your form of payment ready to be charged.
I finished up by confirming that I had to wait until I received the product before I can turn right around and mail it back for a full refund. I told the rep I couldnt believe in the way they conducted their business and that based on the consumer complaints all over the web I was sure that Resvpure was not banking on repeat customers. I will not even try the sample as I could care less if it works. I am so angry that I got swindled like this. At the end of the day I will mail the product back at my own cost and have to wait for my refund. I just am so tired of companies conducting shady borderline legal business like this. As a country we are in a mess of a financial situation because of shady business dealings. Now we even have to watch our backs with a seemingly innocent Free Trial Sample of a product that is touted as improving your life.
So I will post my dealings all over the place. This company is banking on reports on Oprah and 60 Minutes about their product and I highly doubt that Oprah and 60 Minutes would support these unscrupulous business practices in return.
Please Please take heed of all of these compliants and DO NOT order products from this company. It is so much more than you know you are getting yourself in to.

I heard about this product on the Oprah with Dr. Oz, so I went to the website and signed up for the trial bottle. Now I see from the account that this company is charging my credit card and I have not received the product. So I wish to cancel any and all future shipments and charges to my charge account. Unable to reach by phone due to the numbers being disconnected. I have contacted my bank and reported the issue and I am waiting to hear from my bank.

On August 11 I ordered some teeth whitening products which claimed there would be no charge other than shipping. I charged this to my debit card. I checked my bank account the next day online and did see those specific charges posted as agreed. Then on August 24 I found another charge of $92.37 from ResvPure. I tried calling the phone number listed in the transaction code only to get an out of service recording. I have contacted my bank's fraud department and have disputed this charge. This will entail the bank issuing me a new debit card number for my account.

In May '09, I ordered my free trial of ResvPure. Apprently there is also another product that they are combining with this called Health Tracker in which you are charged separately $5.95 per month. I was not even aware of this. I cancelled my shipment of ResvPure and received my refund. I started noticing on my credit card statement this charge of $5.95. This happened for 2 months. I called this morning and this is a separate product and has to be cancelled also. When I asked for a refund of the charges, I was told that it is a non-refundable product. No where on there terms and conditions does it say that it is non-refundable. When you call ResvPure, you get a customer service center that are not very helpful. All I was told was that it was there policy. If something is non-refundable, it has to be stated in there terms and conditions. What can be done about this? Please help.

I am getting very frustrated with the $5.95 charges that appear on my credit card each month. I ordered Resvpure several months ago I cancelled the order after a few months as it was pretty pricey.I'm not sure if the $5.95 charge is shipping and handling or what but it continued after my order cancellation. I've tried to reach someone several different times and calling the number my credit card gave me and getting ABSOLUTELY no where.

The charge states Nhealth*Dentalsupplies [protected] I have NO idea what that is...Other times it says Health-[protected].I am going to have to take further action on this matter if it is not corrected immediately...I have paid this bill every month just hoping it will resolve itself but I can see it isn't going away...
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS. FRANCES SCHWAB

i ordered a trial version for 'shipping only' and paid for shipping. the trial period was 10 days and i canceled in 7 days and have confirmation numbers from my call.

four days later i was charged 92.37 and i called the company to complain. i was told i would receive a credit. twenty one days later i was AGAIN charged 92.37 and received another shipment of the product. i called the company to get an RMA to return the product and was told they would email me an RMA.

after three calls, i finally received the RMA and returned the product that i did not order and that was shipped a month after my cancelation during the 'trial period'.

the company finally credited my account for one of the shipments but refuses to credit for the first shipment (the FREE one).

I cancelled this product and returned everything by the time given, express mail. They credited me with the last charge they charged me. However, they have submitted their charge to my bank and it has put me in a negative balance. I want them to retract this charge and never bill me again. I'm tired of these scams that say free trial and they bill you before the free trial period is over and continue to submit for payment through my debit card

DO NOT ORDER! from these people. It is a scam for sure! Once they have your credit card # they will keep billing you. I got billed $85. twice in one month after I had cancelled a month prior (actually I cancelled 15 min. after initially order) There is no way to re-coup lost funds as they attach some newsletter called "health tracker" supposedly, then when you try and cancel your order they only cancel the newsletter and still charge. I returned pkg, never opened it and wrote cancelation info on outside with date, do not want etc. Wrong, if you do not fill out their return info from inside they won't acknowledge it, and guess what you pay postage if they take it back. They refuse to issue fany credit for the pills even though they admit they rec'd then back. The trial period starts when you order, within minutes, you have so many days to cancel with them however, you may not receive your product for a week or more. There is a whole list of complaints for this company. Read the small print from them, I promise you you will get burned. I would never have ordered any diet pills or anything for $85/per bottle. Are you kidding! Do not order from them, they are being sued by Dr. OZ and Oprah as well as by many states for fraud and misrepresentation. linda Seattle, WA

I got sucked into ordering a smple of a weight loss pill for under $4.00. I only received one botle which I thought was the free trial. Then the charge for that free trial plus $85.26 appeared on my checking acct.I called the company and they had a "tough luck for you" attitude. and was told, you didn't read the fine print!

Yeah, it was so fine, you couldn't even find it. Typical bait tactic. this company not only is unethical but certainly isn't interested in good customer realtions. I'm just another sucker who was a one time purchase.

My daughter came across this website and was so convinced that this was a good product. Barbara Walters was even endorsing it. My daughter is 17 yrs old and asked to use my debit card to order her "free trial" for a small shipping charge and I agreed. I looked at the web site and thought it was appropriate also. The free trial was ordered on 7/10/09 and my card was charged $2.94 for shipping. On July 16, my checking account was charged $85.26. When the next package arrived recently, I just left it in the mailbox and wrote "return to sender". According to their hidden terms and conditions, they will not accept products "return to sender". So are they going to charge me another $85.26. I did cancel and I am hoping they will leave me alone. I am mostly surprised that Barbara Walters a very trusted public figure would support such a vicious scam.

I have had a conversation with the marketing company for ResvPure
and have been told that since I did not cancel within 10 days of the sample shipment, I am obligated to purchase their product at a cost of $85.26 per shipment. I received a two month supply within 20 days of each other. I was not even aware that there were such terms. Usually a sample is just what it says - a sample. After receiving the sample, I made an appointment with my doctor because the label had a precaution which says to contact your physician if you are taking certain medications. It took me two weeks to be able to get an appointment with the doctor. My doctor said I definitely should not take this product because of possible detrimental effects. I am taking several medications for serious medical conditions and had cancer of the kidney three years ago. I was charged for two shipments at $85.26 each (a total of $170.52) on my credit card before I even received my next credit card bill. I discovered the charge by looking at my credit card information on the internet. They have said they will give me a credit of $65.31 for the second shipment but that I must pay for the first shipment in the amount of $85.26. I'm requesting the balance of the amount that I paid to be credited to my credit card immediately - $85.26 plus the additional amount of $19.95 - $105.21 total. I have accepted the credit in the meantime but am still planning to pursue this further - the Better Business Bureau, Utah Attorney General's Office and wherever else I can.

This company definitely appears to be a scam operation because of their terms and conditions which are not reasonable and should be stopped immediately.
