I had AAA do my rental reservation and purchased collision insurance thru them requesting a compact automatic car. Once we arrived and went to pick up car I am told HERTZ does NOT acknowledge collision insurance that I need to purchased their own which would be $30 a day and that I needed to live a $1, 000 cash deposit oh and that there were no cars so I needed to pay for an upgrade to a truck which was a standard not automatic by the way I DONT know how to drive standard. This was outrageous ridiculous and overpriced there is no way I would recommend or even consider you guys again for a rental.
I rented a SUV for 11/24/2016 to 11/28/2016. I noticed I had the wrong day I needed to change to 11/23/2016, so I called only to be told the reservation had been cancelled. I never cancelled. So then I was told that you all did have this vehicle available. So I read your policy which states (if I cancel a special deal vehicle the I would not be refunded) Well I did not cancel therefore that does not apply to me. You all cancelled and this was not my fault, Therefore if I do not receive a refund, I will be contacting my attorney.
