Paragon Security Square one security desk

My wife forgot our child's stroller (folding with dinosaur print) at Sephora (Square One Mississauga Ontario Canada) around closing hours on 29th November 2023. S**** (Sephora executive) claimed that she dropped off the stroller at Square One security desk. But the security desk is not acknowledging the receipt and neither making any effort to trace the stroller. They do not have any list which can help with who was manning the security register at the time of the incident.

I am not concerned about the value of the stroller but rather with the callousness of the security team. They did not even make an effort to check the list of lost items or the room where they keep such items. I would request them to at least make a sincere effort to trace the stroller.

Claimed loss: Stroller ($150)

Paragon Security Paragon security

Paragon security operates the parking for the condo I live in. The rules state you have to register all visiting vehicles if they are parked over night. I registered my guests visiting vehicle over night by emailing paragon as is the appropriate method stated by paragon. Paragon still issued the ticket. When I inquired about why I was issued a ticket, a person named Duane replied saying that the matter is closed and didn’t provide me an answer at all. I reached out many times and was ignored. I followed the rules and still got issued a false ticket. And they are doing nothing to fix the situation.

Claimed loss: Parking ticket for $75

Paragon Security Concierge employee from Paragon at the Livmore (Toronto)

Hello,

I would like to report an incident that happened between myself and one of your employees on the evening of April 28th.

I am a student living at the Livmore for dental school. Yesterday evening, I had forgotten my keys in my dental building, which unfortunately closes for the weekend after 5pm on Fridays. When I entered the Livmore condo to go home in the evening, knowing I had forgotten my keys, I went and sat in the "Zen Lounge" of the building to study as I have exams, but also because of the concierge on duty.

Arqham, a paragon employee, has a history of being difficult to work with. He is very unpleasant towards any requests and does not hesitate to raise his voice at the residents. I have witnessed this myself on multiple occasions, where he has spoken rudely to residents, in an otherwise calm building community. For this reason, I did not ask him to let me in my unit as I knew that it would cause some sort of conflict.

However, at around 8pm, some other residents also came to the Zen Lounge, and it became too loud to study there. At this point, instead of waiting for my roommate to come home, I decided to go against my best judgment and try to have Arqham let me into the unit. Arqham immediately refused my request, saying that he had already let me into my condo within the last month.

I pleaded with him to let me in, telling him that I was having a bad day, and would really appreciate to just go home. He told me that I needed to contact my roommate (who was uptown attending an event) to come to get me inside instead. I told him that I couldn't as she was busy, and he still refused.

As I was having a bad day for personal reasons, I pleaded once more with tears in my eyes, and said I was having a really bad day and need to go home. He refused, and continued to say that I was rude.

At this point, with the events of that day, I began to cry in the lobby while I called my roommate for help. She didn't answer. I continued to sob publicly in the lobby until after 10 minutes when Arqham left, and a younger nice concierge apologized and swiftly took me up to my unit.

This entire situation could have been avoided if he had simply told me I need to remember my keys (which I am well aware of) and taken me to my condo. This situation was dealt with completely unprofessionally and to be called rude when you were just trying to go home is a bit much. I believe this individual is a stain on the Paragon company, and should either be let go or reappointed before something more serious that invites litigation occurs.

Desired outcome: I believe it would be best for the Livmore community if he was appointed elsewhere by Paragon. I do not believe he has the skills to work with residents at our condo in a healthy and safe manner.

Paragon Security Guard

I was at the social security office to give in papers that i was called in to bring by a supervisor and secirty guard Soto aggressively screamed at me to turn my phone off and told me he will forcibly out me out of the office i was sitting down not saying anything to anyone and he came at me too agressive on his approach and as someone who is licensed to carry and conseal his actions were frightening and kind of put me at fear for my life with all that is going on in the world a reach for a firearm is insane from a conversation with someone that is unarmed

Paragon Security My 12 year old son was verbally abuse by two paragon security

My 12 year tall black son was in bramalea city Center on sat Jan 14 playing with an orange toy gun with his two friends. Security was inform from a witness and approach my son. The security did not lock down the area as they knew it was a toy they were playing with. My son put his hands up and he was told he look like an idiot another lady guard said he an idiot shut the [censored] up and if you try to leave we will tackle you to the floor. They call peel police on my child and would not let him call his mother. They took a photo of my child a try to ban him for 3 years. My son told the lady security to watch what she saying cause my mom is coming and she responded your mom Ain’t going to do [censored]. I arrived to speak with the two security an was inform they left an sent home.

Paragon Security T. Gonzales badge number 2891

I went to the social security office in San Bernardino on January 11th at 2pm. I had an appointment with Ms. Medina but unfortunately she forgot to put my down on the list. I first spoke to J. Rodriguez and he informed me that my name wasn’t on the list and to try to call Ms. Medina to have her add me to the list. In the meantime my daughter was in line, T. Gonzales came outside and started yelling at me because I told him that I couldn’t stand in direct sunlight due to my medication not realizing that my daughter was already in line. He was very rude. J. Rodriguez heard him and offered for me to come in and wait, when T. Gonzales realized that I was let into the building he began yelling at me, I asked him to please not speak to me and he told me that he can do whatever he wants and he can kick me out, he then hovered over me-and began yelling in my face, I told him I was scared and he didn’t care. There are cameras to show exactly what happened. I didn’t do anything but ask him not to speak to me because he was rude. He kept saying he was the supervisor and he can do whatever he wants but I don’t think treating people this way is apart of his job. Something has to be done about this. I was in tear’s crying because I was afraid, embarrassed and humiliated by T. Gonzales badge number 2891 out of San Bernardino social security office

Desired outcome: I want disciplinary action to be taken, this is beyond unacceptable and he used his power for the wrong reason. You do not hover over women and yell at them when you are a man.

Paragon Security A Federal guard at the IRS

I am first of all a retired police of 30 years here in my state 62 years old...I was literally humiliated by 1 of your guards she is hateful and is a real threat to society...I encountered her going to make a payment she asked me so many questions. Also, told me to " assume the position" and she searched me and

all of my belongings and I felt violated beyond belief. I believe she was angry and this is not my first meeting with her...I have a hearing problem she and I both had on mask she warned me if I opened my mouth she would put me out of the building..I compiled had no choice she is like a mad dog and an accident waiting to happen...

Paragon Security 25 federal plaza outside old security guard outside

December 7, 2022 1040am. 25 Federal Plaza. An older armed guard was outside and I asked him about entering the building. The attitude and hostile demeanor of this employee was appalling. The whole situation could have gone in a different direction. But this man was looking for a fight. Simply after letting him berate me for two minutes I said I can see how Karen videos happen. He then walked away muttering I’m a white [censored].

Desired outcome: I would like this employee retrained to deal with the public and an apology or reevaluated If he doesn’t like his job with the public, maybe it’s not for him

Paragon Security Rodney Parker

This was my first time being introduced to a machine and had a quick question, I was then rudly told that I needed to get a ticket and that he couldn't help. I did not even get the opportunity to even present my question! I then tried to use the use the next machine when I was then rudley told that both computer do the same thing and that I needed to hurry and sit down! Then when I asked him to please lower his voice I was then told that I needed to leave. I was not rasing my voice as I saw no need to do so. The situation could have been talked out between us but thansk to a very immature Rodney Parker, I now have to take my business else where.

Desired outcome: I would like for Rodney Parker to be terminated form his position! it doesn't take much to be a decent person and try to at least hear someone out before denying another person's question. If not

Paragon Security Customer service / safety

On 2002/06/02, somebody parked at my parking spot in condo I live in around midnight. I then went to the front desk manned by a Paragon Security Guard for assistance. The guard was dismissive and told me to call parking enforcement. When I asked him if he knew the number, he said no in a mocking tone. When my friend asked him more questions, he kept belittling her and not taking her seriously as her English was poor. Finally, I asked if there was a manager of somebody else I can speak to then he got defensive and kept insisting there was nobody and I was wasting my time while glaring at me. It was until I confronted him further he decided to bother looking the parking endowment number so we can live him alone. It is unsettling at how rude and unprofessional the service I received in a building I reside in. Definitely does not make me feel safe in asking for help in the event of a real emergency as they threaten you with dirty looks.

Desired outcome: A written apology for the clear racial discrimination and unnecessary intimidation.

Paragon Security Security - Negligence = Theft

I live in a condo in Etobicoke and Paragon Security has been hired to provide 24 hour security in the building. On April 14/22 at approximately 2:30 in the morning, the security guard allowed a stranger through the front door of the building. This individual subsequently entered the garage and stole my bicycle that was locked in bicycle rack and this theft was caught on the building's security camera. Furthermore, this thief called a Beck Taxi to pick him and the bicycle up. The Paragon Security guard did nothing. They did not call the police or intervene in preventing this criminal act. In addition, the thief returned the next day a proceeded to steal 2 more bicycles in the same manner, however this time a door was left open to allow him access. These two situations could have been prevented if Paragon Security had properly trained their employee. This gross negligence is unprofessional. I have written twice to Paragon Security about this issue and not heard from them. I understand that that individual has been fired.

I am asking Paragon Security to pay my deductible for the bicycle replacement that I claiming through my personal insurance

Paragon Security Paragon security 777 bay street

Beyond dissatisfied with how rude and unprofessional the lady working front desk was. I asked to speak to my British consulate with regards to serious matter and if my expired passport would effect it. The response I got was book and appointment and go online. I wasn't bothered with that but the tone and continuous ignorance when I her how access this information was what upset me. When I ask for her name so I can to her employer/supervisor she refused to provide and called security who approached me with attitude as if i’ve done something wrong. After speaking with him he called upstairs and was relocate me. Although his information wasn’t correct the fact he made an effort was more important which the lady refused to.

Desired outcome: hire more professional and communicative employees

Paragon Security Guard C. Herpin wrongfully pushed me out of a building

On 11/16/2021 at the USCIS Dallas field office location (6500 Campus Cir Dr E Irving, TX 75063) Security guards E. Williams and C. Herpin acted in an unprofessional manner which resulted in C. Herpin physically pushing me out of the building and barring me from re-entry.

At approximately 0845 my wife and I entered the building and joined the queue when security guard E. Williams shouted something unintelligible. I mistook it as "Come up forward" and started approaching his direction. At this point C. Herpin yelled "STAY BACK! WHY ARE YOU GOING OVER THERE". I responded with you don't have to shout, I simply mistook E. Williams direction. C. Herpin questioned why I was here and whether I had an appointment. I answered that I'm the interpreter for my wife. At this point C. Herpin yelled and said I have to leave the building. I explained I have done nothing wrong but these security officers continued to tell me to leave.

It is my belief that C. Herpin in a manner unjust, acted out of malice when he abused his authority in kicking me out the building the first time. All because I told him to not shout. Once out of the building I had to call my wife over the phone and make sure she was okay because I did not feel comfortable with someone with a short fuse communicating with her. She was distraught so I entered the building again and explained I have to be here for my wife because I am her interpreter. Both E. Williams and C. Herpin exclaimed I have to leave the building. I asked for the supervisor on duty and they responded there are none. As I was writing his name into my phone he physically pushed me out of the building.

If this matter is not addressed I intend to file any action necessary based on discrimination and physical abuse. Security guard C. Herpin needs to be disciplined due to his over reaction. He had no authority to shout and my wife and I and then proceeded to bar me from the building by physically touching me because I told him not to shout. As my wife's interpreter I feel she did not get the adequate service she needed because C. Herpin wrongfully held me from the duties I needed to perform. I plan to retrieve any video/audio for my documentation purposes.

Paragon Security Security guard behaviour

I was delivering food in a building at 155 legion road north, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada on September 17 around 9.30. There is an old Indian man at security desk was really disrespectful and talking with anger. I know they are doing their job by asking us the details of our visit but their is a professional way to ask and this man was disrespecting me in front of other delivery drivers who were there. I think there should be a session by paragon to teach their employees to respect others and their work too.

Paragon Security The company as a whole.

Terrible. Will not recommend them as an employer or as a security service.

They will fire gaurds with out providing notice. You'll put your two weeks in and many months (4-6 months) later ask you to write an exit interview. Then you'll never here from them or an update. Then many months later found to be fired. Communication lacks in this company between the differing levels of authority.

Some gaurds in are also unprofessional. They speak slang to staff memebers and to student. Slang, as heard in the hip hop culture. They come off as arrogant and not easy to approach. I've seen cases where Gaurds will give one word answers or walk pass someone who requires assistance. There plentiful of sites where this was seen.

Last thing, they tend to favour those obtaining thier Canadian Permanent Residence from a specific country. It's quite nerve racking, because sometimes their hires skills sets are doesnt match the sites requirements and qualifications. For example you'll have a site in Downtown Core, where tactical and strategic skills are required. But you'll find to see a PR Obtainee to be on the phone at all times.

I'd like to feel safe when attending school, at home and in shopping centers.

Desired outcome: Please filter those who are hired and match their skills to sites.

Paragon Security Security guard complaint

I live at 17 kenaston gardens where you have a gaurd there by the name Khalid terrific. He has been an extremely big problem for me and many residents here. He is very unprofessional and extremely rude. He doesn't wear his mask at all during his shift which is a by law issues. He also didn't provide me with his security license number which I asked for and he did not comply which is also another by law issue. He's on his phone speaking his language very loud during the night as I can hear him from inside my unit. Please inform me what actions are being done towards all these issues. I'm not sure why you guys hire people like this. I'm also in the security industry and this is not how to behave.

Paragon Security Belittling and disrespectful customer service

R. Haridal was the office on duty at the irs building on Maitland location whom was extremely rude and being a Narcissist once asked his information and stated he doesn't care I can report him he makes $30 and the most in building no one would believe. So while asking for his name he then stated make sure I get it right again being rude and extremely disrespectful. During the pandemic a lot of people are going threw things and he doesn't know who's working or not just because he has a job with a badge does not make him any less of an individual like my self. If this is the type of behavior and disrespect that employees provide to customers.I asked could I consult with someone else due to his attitude and behavior he stated no his boss doesn't work here I said maybe some one else you have to report to and closed door on my face in the most of me talking.Not only am a I am a tax paying person as well . I would like to be consulted with this occurred @11:30 we'd 04/17 please view cameras audio and what ever else may need to be done. When in told him I would record him he stated he is authorized in his position to do so. How ever this is completely unprofessional.
