Krystal Cancun - Contracting with krystal

I met with them and signed the contract. They used many tactics but essentially indicated that under Mexican law I couldn't come back the next day to sign the contract. I had no internet connection at Krystal therefore I could not research the company beforehand. When I got back to my hotel, I looked them up and of course am seeing all that you are seeing...

Krystal Cancun - Krystal Cancun timeshare

I purchased a Krystal Cncun time share Sept 9,2023. To date I have paid over $10,000. Ivan Flores, the quality assurance manager assured me that our weeks would be rented out by a maintenance company to which I have paid over $1500 after placing calls and emails I realize this is a scam. Everytime I inquire I'm told there has been no activity yet. When...

Krystal Cancun - Krystal time sharing agreement

In November, 2021 I visited Krystal Cancun for their tour and presentation. I was told that I could come back for a free week (actually 5 nights, I believe...he used both terms for the same thing). I did put $500 on my credit card and signed the paperwork. I left feeling like I could exchange and pay a differential, or go to one of the three Mexico Krystal...

Krystal Cancun They scammed us

We agreed to a 90-minute presentation in 2021 , after they showed us all the premises and things you can access when you are member of their vacation club, they took us to an office and that’s when the nightmare started, the sells men took a piece of paper and started to write numbers and things all over the place talking and talking offering us this thing that was too good to be true, after he was done explaining we said we were not interested, he insisted and insisted kept on lowering the price more and more and writing numbers and perks we could get if we said yes, it started to get really confusing,I wanted to talk to my husband and discuss it alone calmly because the seller overwhelmed us, he told us we had to make a decision right there and that we couldn’t leave the office or we could lose the price he was giving us, we felt so pressured to give an answer right away without discussing, he told us that we could sell our weeks and then recover the money and more as profit, we said that we had to think about it and the seller kept insisting until we fell and said yes. He offered us incredible things that today I see were part of the scam. Well, the rent thing was all a lie too. We paid an agency called GTS(recommended by them) and they never rent not even a week, at the hotel they had told us that at the beginning of the year, every year the agency would buy the weeks from us, no questions asked…as moths passes and no money was sent to us, I called the agency to get an explanation, the agency explained to us that they did not buy in advance as the us seller told us , the way they work is by putting the weeks for rent and as they get rented (or not) they send payment to us. After returning from vacation I sat down to read the contract carefully because they didn't even give us time to read it in peace, i couldn’t believe what I was reading, it was almost the oposite of what the guy had offered us, it’s so unbelievable how they know how to manipulate our minds in a moment of vulnerability when we are on vacation with family, trying to disconnect and enjoy, they blindsided us,they stole from us in front of our very own eyes, after the pandemic, while excited and dazzled by the beauty that Cancun has, It is very easy to fall for it ... They never told us about the 5 days to think about it after signing the contract, in the contract they said things that we had not agreed to, they sold us one thing and the contract said another. Don’t fall for it ! Now we are stuck paying for this thing that is worth nothing .

Desired outcome: We wish to get out of this contract and get at least our down payment back .

I'm Canadian so all the payments they have been taking from me over $8000 is in U.S funds.Im told I still owe 12,000 on this useless package along with the annual maintenance fee.

If anyone knows how I can get my money back from these con artists please let me know.

Krystal Cancun Krystal International Vacation Club/Eskape by Krystal

I am writing to complain about the unethical practices of KIVC/Eskape and all of its affiliates. There is a HUGE discrepancy between what was said in the presentation for KIVC/Eskape and the actual written contract I was given. Even upon clarifying details with the salesmen Jose and Miguel at Krystal Cancun, we were promised and reassured that what was presented is exactly what would be delivered. In the first place, Jose and Miguel stated multiple times that with a KIVC membership there would only be a 5 year contract with an annual maintenance fee of $1052. The contract however says 25 years, which keeps you paying for maintenance fees long after your supposed 5 years are up. Secondly, they stated multiple times that the rooms available would be up to 3 bedrooms and accommodate up to 8 people. However, the contract only states 1 bedroom up to 4 people. Third, Miguel stated multiple times that by purchasing a KIVC membership it would pay for our Eskape membership overtime by providing us rental services through an outside company called GTS Global Travel that would pay us $1300 per week for each of the 5 weeks we were allotted per year. Over the period of 5 years our KIVC membership would net us $32,000, there by paying for our fees and then some. Of course, none of this was included in the contract. When we asked for the papers on which he showed us the figures, Miguel refused to give them to us. When GTS finally contacted us regarding the rental of our time share at Krystal Cancun, the contract says no definite amount of income is promised, only percentages based on seasons of ownership. Lastly, Miguel and Jose confirmed that with the Eskape by Krystal membership we would always have the ability to book a 3 bedroom suite for up to 8 people for 1 week for the price of just $499. However, the contract state that rates are subject to availability.

Due to the misrepresentations and deceptive acts I was subject to during my transaction with KIVC, Eskape by Krystal, and its affiliates I demand a full refund of the money I was defrauded of.

Desired outcome: Full refund of $5,761.50 USD.

Krystal Cancun Timeshares as investment

We visited Cancun in August 2022 for my husband birthday. Unfortunately, we accepted to attend one of the breakfast for the "2 hours" presentation.

While we went with the conviction that we will not get into any of these timeshares, the day we have to attend it was my husband birthday and they did a great job to get things for the kids and gave us champagne...

After a lot of talking, their representative Mr. Fernando who seems to be in pain, convinced us because he said that we can rent our weeks, hie indicated that they didn't want the members to be in their resort but they will rather have "new " people who can buy the vacational program. It was sold to us like we didn't have to pay anything because our weeks will be rented, and we will be able to pay for the whole membership and get cheaper vacation using their Eskape plan which cost us another extra $1000...for nothing, the deals there are not worthy.

My husband asked may times if the rent of the weeks was guaranteed and he said yes, of course many time. He send us the contact informationof the company who will be renting the weeks "GTS" we had to pay extra $700 to get our weeks listed.. we paid to get the weeks rented in January when we will have to initiate the payments for the rest of the membership.

We followed up many times since October because we were sure we needed the money from the rent of the weeks since we used a our credit card to pay the initial fee at the resort+ $700 for GTS + $1000 for Eskape.

At the time, we started to find the scam alert from GTS and Krystal Cancun, we tried to contact the resort but no answers from anyone.

Finally, we contacted our credit card supplier to dispute the charges in January and the investigation still pending but today we got an email from the Quality rep from Cancun Mrs. Isabel Moctezuma indicating we have to pay $4800 penalty to cancel the contract, we will fight this. No way we are paying for nothing..

It is not acceptable how we get ripped of during a family vacation, they lie in front of you and there is evidence they sell this vacation packages taking advantage of the dreams of people.

Desired outcome: We would like to get this contract canceled and get refund for the money that wad charged to us in the resort, GTS and Eskape

Krystal Cancun Website

On August 7, 2022, we went to a sales presentation for their website. Mariana claimed that we can use it to go anywhere anytime for no more than $499/wk.We asked several times to make sure that was true and she said yes and if they didn’t have the city available in the website, all we have to do is call and we can go anywhere we want to. Once we got the website 45 days later, we found out it was a lie. There are very little options of travel and some of them is more than $499/wk. it’s a trick, it’s a lie. I called my credit card company to get a refund but they side with them because of the cancellation policy being 14 days after the purchase. The problem with that is that we don’t get to see the website until after 45 days from purchase. Another thing, Mariana was in contact with us on WhatsApp until she blocked us when we finally got the website. We have also been trying to contact Krystal by calling and email and don’t receive a response back. Diana Gonzalez was Mariana’s helper and she stopped talking to us too.

Desired outcome: We want our money back, we won’t be using the website because we find no use with it

Krystal Cancun Time Shares / Vacation Club

I went through a sales presentation and this is a complete ridiculous way to get your money and offer absolutely nothing. This is a team that is train to fool you and not let you walk away.

Scam # 1:prices changes as you speak with different people. Also it varies according to who is sitting in front of them (income, age, education, etc.)

Scam # 2: why would a company offer you free cruises? This is to fool you. If they are offering free cruises, it means that they are making a ton of money (plain and simple)

Scam#3: why the decision has to be done on spot? Because they know once you walk out and do your proper research you will find that the deal makes no sense.

Scam # 4: website (this is their vacation club!) You pay for access to a website with a full list of hotels where 99% makes no sense to you or to anyone else. You can get the same exact hotels on your own.

Scam # 5: when you try to book it you will find out that what you want has been fully booked (forcing you to choose something that you don't want or don't know)

Scam # 6 : No laws to protect the customer in their contract or presentation. EUA can't do anything since it is not their jurisdiction. No other country can

Scam # 7: no efforts to actually rent it. Ask them to show examples (live examples) of their list of members that in fact got the suites rented where they supported. On paper they mention great numbers but what is the actual reality?

Scam # 8: There is no money to be made. You hear the following on their presentation: you pay...you have to pay...maintenance fee..you pay now...you pay later...you pay...Also no guarantees...they say it could be December...it could January when we rented out for you...it could be means nothing in business...

Scam #9 : no legit business asks for spot decisions no matter how small and large they are. People have the right to think. If the deal is good why can't hold for 24 hrs, 48hrs? Because they need that emotional decision not rational decision.

Desired outcome: Prohibit this type of behavior across the industry. People go to vacation and not to be fooled

Krystal Cancun That hotel has on the second floor a tremendous scam to get thousands of dollars by selling you a membership that is a complete fake.

That hotel has on the second floor a tremendous scam to get thousands of dollars by selling you a membership that is a complete fake. Practically nothing of what they tell you in the orientation is true. I called them many times when I realized that nothing of what they offer is true. The man had a catalog with hundreds of super good hotels where you can stay anywhere in the world at very low prices and that is false. When you go on the internet to the membership website you find that the few places they have are of very poor quality. And they do not have in many places as they say. Another thing they show you is that you can get much cheaper tickets on the website. The man shows you a tablet and shows you the supposed super cheap prices. When you go to their website the prices are the same as if you were buying them anywhere. Another thing they tell you is that you hire another company to rent you the apartment, and that it will generate you up to $6,000 dollars, they give you the information of the company in my case they guided me to GTS, but just like that, no other company works, they guide you to make deals with them and give another $500 dollars to that company, once you pay them, they have never contacted me again or return messages. They wash their hands because they have nothing to do with that company, after they offer you wonders. To make you feel safe they offer you insurance, which I paid over $1,700 dollars extra for that insurance. In total I have spent over $7,000 dollars. I still owe over $10,000 and no benefits. The only thing they are good at is calling and charging you. Nothing they tell you is true. And then they wash their hands because they say it wasn't in the contract. All the words and fantasies they tell you at the orientation are gone with the wind. Then I called to cancel because this is a scam. They are not giving me anything of what they offered me and being that they are the ones who failed without giving you anything in return they want you to pay them 40% of the total debt.

Good think you realized during the presentation. I realized once u got to my hotel and started reviewing the contract. I then had to hire an attorney in Mexico and they were able. to cancel my membership with Krystal Cancun. There are a lot of inconsistencies and discrepancies in those contracts. Far away from what they explain to you and from what they promise. The main thing is that by Mexican law, you have five (5) business days from the day of your purchase to cancel it with no penalty. They also must reimburse any money you paid upfront, for me it was 9,250 dollars. It is in their contrat under the early termination clause. Ladies and Gentlemen please read carefully and don't fall into the trap. These type of scams have been going on for decades, protect yourself.

Krystal Cancun Fraud in the name of selling discounted site

We had visited in February 2022. we were invited for a promotional presentation with "exclusive" offers. We had breakfast with one of their tour guide, she then presented us with a membership with their hotel and took us through their hotel, told us if we had joined the membership, we would get discounts with the hotel and travel discounts as well. And we were enrolled to Eskape by Krysal program and will have access to www.eskapebykrsytal.com site.

We had agreed to join the membership because we thought provided benefits would be a great help for future travels and vacations. After talking to her boss, Carlos Ruiz, we signed up the contract that would cost $2500. We paid $1,000 in cash at that time and remaining need to pay through installments. We were assured that we would receive a login via email. This login would include discounted fares, hotels etc. And this login information should arrive within 45 days. After 55 days, I started checking with Carlos ruiz, he has been giving me running around and never provided the login information. So I went ahead and stopped the payment by calling my credit card company. I am starting to realize now that this is a scam as we were promised a membership, login, and services, we paid for something, and nothing provided. I hope this will help others not to be decieved by these scam artists and avoid Krystal Cancun.

Desired outcome: Please refund the money I paid.

Krystal Cancun Literally the definition of fraud

I had visited in September, we were invited for a promotional presentation with "exclusive" offers. We had breakfast with one of their tour guides, he then presented us with a membership with their hotel (Krystal Grand/Altitude) – walked us through the hotel, through the beach and told us if we had joined the membership, we would have 70% discounts with the hotel and travel discounts as well.

We had agreed to join the membership because we thought the benefits would be a great investment in the long run since it would give us the opportunity to travel at much lower costs. My mom had paid 50% and I paid the other 50% for the down payment of $1200 (grateful we chose the bare minimum). The membership would cost us a grand total of $10,550.00 that we would eventually pay off each month.

We were promised that we would receive a login via email. This login would include discounted fares, hotels etc. We had followed up to get our logins and we didn’t receive anything, checked spam, checked junk, asked again, and were informed that we would get it in “30 days”. Then the monthly payments had started and at this point we still had nothing.

This was a scam as we were promised a membership, login, and services, we paid for something, but they never gave it to us to begin with and to this day I still have not received anything.

The contract stated that if we were unsatisfied with their services that they would keep a percentage, which is understandable if they gave us their services, however this is not the case, they had violated their own contract by not following through with their exchange. We were charged and paid them, but we received nothing in exchange.

They then sent me a contract to sign that requested that I not post anywhere on social media of my experience in exchange of cancelling my “Membership” but without a refund. I informed them that I would not sign that especially since I did not receive the services promised in the contract. This was an intentional scam.

(Fraud: the gaining of financial advantage by a person who deliberately deceives another person or business, by mispresenting himself.)

Desired outcome: Full refund - Including the 50% my mom had paid.

Krystal Cancun Fraudulent sales pitch promises

I took a vacation to Cancun and on January 19 2022, I went to a sales pitch for a vacation club.

My husband and I said we weren’t interested in a timeshare and we were told explicitly over and over that this wasn’t a time share. We were signing up for a vacation club that would allow us to return to that resort or another of their partner resorts, to stay in a luxury condo for $399 a week.

It sounded too good to be true so we declined, but the sales representative, Ivan Flores, told us that the way it worked was that our money upfront allowed them to build more, so these prices were affordable to them. We were told that we could book hotel stays anywhere in the world without black out dates for 399 per week. He SPECIFICALLY said Hawaii, New York and London.

When we asked to see this on the website, he said that because of Covid he hadn’t been able to physically go into his office and the access passwords changed at the beginning of the year.

As I write it now, I know how stupid that sounds.

Anyway, on top of that he offered membership to KIVC which was a timeshare but we would be able to give up our weeks to them and those weeks would be rented out and we would receive the income from that, which would cover our upfront costs over 5 years.

Well when I came home I tried to login to the site to research vacations and found that none of what he promised was true. There are no bookings for Hawaii, or London or New York for $399 per week or the $50 per night that he promised.

You can only go to limited places, on limited dates and no condos, just single bedrooms. We had been excited about being able to vacation with our children and spread out with space in condos over hotel rooms.

This whole pitch was a lie to get us to handover thousands of dollars with literally nothing in return.

This has soured my whole experience of the vacation and of Krystal.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be a refund of my money or the club to honor the promises and at least give us weeks in condo accommodations at their resort or sister resorts for $399 per stay when we want to travel.

Krystal Cancun The music pounding until 1Am Feb 10-24th 2022

Staying for 2 weeks and the first night I knew I wanted to go home. The music from next door pounds into the room until 1AM. Seriously you are not going to sleep until 1AM if you choose to stay here. Other than that the place is beautiful. But for that reason, never again. Still here for a week. Actually looking forward to going home.

Desired outcome: Make it stop. For the love of God.

Krystal Cancun The club and the resort and customer service

I recently visited a resort and while there purchased a timeshare, 2 days later I cancelled the contract by telling the lady that I worked with at the presentation. Her name was Ceci, I told the other person we worked with, his name was Fernando that we didn't want the timeshare anymore. I had fallen in the room at night and couldn't get any help from anyone there.

What had happened was that the air conditioner had went out in the room, and the humidity had made everything wet, especially the floor. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom and slipped and fell on by butt, and hurt my left foot, I called down to the reception office, and they told me to put some towels on the floor for now or clean it up myself and someone would be around in the morning.

I was in so much pain, we couldn't go on our trips to Isla Mujeres or Talum. So we even lost money on those trips too, and time from our trip there in Cancun.

We were speaking to Ceci from the presentation of the timeshare continuously, so I told her about 6 times I wanted to cancel the contract. She told me not to worry all would be taken care of. I thought this meant she was going to cancel for us, because I did not want to be part of a club that wasn't even going to assist me when an incident or injury has occurred.
Nothing was ever done for me that whole first day, even the next day I spoke to Fernando, from the presentation too, and told him the same about my fall and he said he was going to send the Doctor to my room and security to write up the accident report.
A life guard showed up and the security guy. The life guard put a cream on my foot and wrapped it, so tight I couldn't even walk at all. I had to unwrap and re-wrap myself. As for the n report, I did write it up with him. He stated he would turn it in to the manager, but when I called in once we got back to the states, no one knew nothing. (oh, and also the morning the accident happen, I went to the front desk to let them know of my accident so I could get a accident report written up and they actually said they didn't understand what I wanted and there was no manager to talk to except some young kid named Abraham, and he didn't know what to do either.

Another problem we had was we did our COVID testing there a day before we were to leave at about 9 am, and was told that the results we would get by 3pm that day. We never got them, we asked that evening and still nothing. So we went down super early in the morning, and asked again. no one new nothing, we looked for the Dr. or nurse no one was avail
Able and again the front desk people were very rude. All they said was that wasn't there job, we would have to call the lab. We were so fustrated with this place, I will never go there again. I love Cancun, but honestly we had a very bad experience there at the Krystal.

We even missed our flight, even thou the man from the presentation Fernando, helped us get our results from COVID testing and get a taxi to get us to the airport. N We missed the flight, had to take a different one and also had to spend the night in LA before we could get back to Idaho.

So my main reason for all this letter is cause I cancelled my timeshare contract with the 2 people from the presentation with 2 days after we signed. And this still don't want to cancel it or refund me my money that I paid to them which was about $5000.00 dollars. I trying to be civil in all my matters but they are not following thru with there work. I know that the 2 people from the presentation will probly loose money on tis cause I cancelled, but I did do it with the time limit. Not even thinking about my injury or my vacation loss. All I want it them to cancel the timeshare and refund me my money.

Krystal Cancun Taking my money and not returning my calls

August 14, 2021 we were fooled by the people at Krystals Cancun. They sold us a dream. Once i got back home from our vacation i did some more research, come to find out this has happened to a lot of other people. Once I read this I called them immediately no one picked up I left voicemails and nothing. We were still within the 14 days of purchase trying to cancel and they never got back to me. I am trying to dispute this with my bank. Word of advice do not fall to their scam! Shame on them to scam people who work hard for their money and are on vacation. Also all the emails they claimed they were going to send us was never sent at all.

Desired outcome: My money back

I have that SAME paper from March 2021. Ivan and Isabel are jokes! Over the course of 9 months, I texted with the sales rep Alberto Jifkins who said for over 3 months he would get me the information I needed. When he and his sidekick Salvador stopped responding, I reached out to Isabel via phone (at the number in your picture above) and left a voice mail. She never returned it. I then emailed her and Ivan...and guess what? They both ignored multiple messages. They had Belkys Maniero call and email me. And when I explained that I had been trying to get a response for over 6 months, she did nothing except ask for money. When I refused to continue paying, they handed it over to a US Collection Agency (which is illegal) so they could harass me and report it to the credit bureau. Do not trust anyone listed on the paper above or trying to sell you a "timeshare" at NH Krystal Cancun. They are all THEIVES!

I was in the same boat. I sent Ivan and Isabel many emails and left voicemails, as they never answer their phone. I have proof of all my attempted contacts and they did not once try to respond to me. They are dishonest people! Don't let the "collection agency" scare you.

I have the same story...Ivan and Isabel ignored my voicemails and emails, and I have the proof. They turned it over to a US Collection Agency (illegal) and they reported me to the credit bureau. Be careful and watch your credit report.

Krystal Cancun Timeshare KIVC

I purchased a timeshare from Krystal Cancun on July 26 2021, I cancelled it on July 26th the same day after reading all the negative reviews and that it was a scam. I signed their cancellation agreement on July 27 th where it was stated that within 15 days I would get my over $6400 back..I have not gotten my money back. I will have to proceed through my credit union.

Even if you cancel with their time period, they will not give you back your money they are scams and theifs.

Desired outcome: My refund from Krystal Cancun

Krystal Cancun - I would like my contract ended immediately.

On May 31, 2021 my husband and I attended a tour at Krystal Cancun. We were impressed with the resort as we had just arrived the night before. Our guide was very persuasive and refused us to leave until we made the commitment. My husband became sick with food poisoning and left my daughter (17 years of age) and me with the Team. I was offered champagne...

Krystal Cancun Fraud and Total Scam!

We keep receiving these emails claiming that we owe a maintenance fee, and have ignored them because they are not accurate, and are fraudulently attributing debt to our good name.

Years ago, we opted for a time-share at the Krystal Cancun that was GUARANTEED NOT TO HAVE maintenance fees. Furthermore, we were solicited by Rafael Septien for an additional $10, 000.00 investment that was supposed to earn us a return on our money. We didn't know at the time that this was actually illegal for him to do. We paid over $10, 000 and after several email exchanges with Rafael Septien, we realized that we would never see a return on our money.

We never stayed at their RIPOFF Resort again and now, a decade later, we are getting invoices for maintenance fees. We have the original contract which states NO Maintenence fees EVER. We even have a hand written statement from Rafael Septien stating that we would see a return on our additional investment of $10, 000.

These con-artists get away with their crimes because they are based in Mexico and there seems to be little that can be done here in the United States.

My wife and I are retired now so I plan to spend my days exposing their fraudulent practices on every online venue that I can if they don't make things right and they don't stop ripping Americans off!

Don't spend your money with them and maybe their nasty reputation will lead to closure. I doubt it, but one can only hope!

Desired outcome: Stop billing us for maintence fees and pay us back for $10,000 of our investment.

We just opened an account with them 6/23/2021 but are home now and realizing it’s a scam as well. We fortunately will not be taking a loss as big as yours because we only put down 1, 300. We will be emailing to cancel because we have the 5 day grace period. Should be put a pause on our credit card used!? Can they come after us legally?
