Natra Pure signed me up for other services I did not want

I had signed up for a free trial of Natra Pure through a website that I came across. It stated the first bottle was "absolutley free" and I could cancel the membership at any time. I received my bottle and cancelled within the 2 week trial period. A month later I saw a charge of 39.95 from "MyTrainer" out of Santa Monica, CA. There was also another charge from "Crasher" of Sant Monica for $2.97. It didn't have a phone number or anything to go by and I have never heard of this company before. I figured it had something to do with Natra Pure because that was the only thing I had ordered online recently. I called them and they said the charges weren't coming from them and I asked them if they knew anything about this company, but they said absolutely not and they would never give my personal information to another company. So I did some research on my own and after 30 minutes of surfing the web I finally found this website with the same name as the description charged to my checking account. I called them up and sure enough they are the company who charged me. They explained that when I signed up for the free trial of Natra Pure, I was also signing up for their services. I told them there's no way I would have agreed to this type of membership as I have no interest in their services. I remember when I signed up for the free trial of Natra Pure, I read the entire terms and conditions at least 3 times, because I'm very skeptical and I usually don't fall victim to these types of scams, but at the same token I feel as long as you're responsible enough to cancel on time, there's no harm. WRONG. Don't fall for it. There was NOTHING in the terms about such a company or membership. They don't even try to hide these membership agreements in the terms and conditions, they just blatantly allow other internet companies to jump on your credit card and checking account information and make all the phony charges to your account as they please. It's just wrong. At any rate, I explained that I didn't agree to the charges and they agreed to have them reversed. They have not posted to my bank account yet so I hope they follow through with what they said because I cannot afford the charges.

The Natra Pure Company charged my credit card for products I never ordered. My Credit Card information was stolen and many charges over 3 days were billed to my card. I am working with the bank to have these charges investigated while attempting to contact the company to find out why they are charging me & sending me products I never ordered. What a scam!

Got product and when I called to cancel I was already charge an extra 89.13 I didn't have the product for 14 day and when I called they said that the trail period starts when you order the product. I hope this company gets sued and that don't see how they figure that you can use it when you don't even have this product. This company is very miss leading. I have learned my lesson. BEWARE.

I too was billed before the end of the trail period. In fact I ordered the product, did not receive the product, call to inquire was the product was before to end of the trail period, cancelled the product with that inquiry and still got charged 89.13. Now after 4 phone calls they still what to reship the product. The supervisor is never available and the costumer service is based in the Philippines. It is very aggravating to no end.

Oh, make sure you also tell them you want to cancel fitness hub and costkings as well, it's something they give you a free 21 day trial for as well, also at the cost of 30.00 a month. Something i didnt notice until i re-read the fine print on the terms and conditions. There is a different order for cancelling that as well. This is from the terms and conditions: "And Yes, as our gift to you...we are sending you a 30 day supply for your trial period. I received the product more than 7 days after ordered as indicated on the website. I was charged the 89.31 on my account that was not authorized by me that will not be returned although I cancelled the order and was given a confirmation number. They strickly go by the terms and conditions of signing up for the 'free' trial so be sure to cancel extra early or don't order the product at all. This company isn't about customer service at all, it's about the money. Beware of this company! You don't have any consumer rights at all!

I just signed up for the free trials of Acai Berry Detox and Natra Pure and after reading this site and the fine print have decided to cancel my orders asap. For Acai Berry Detox I don't think I have to worry, because I used a prepaid visa gift card that only had about 5$ left on it, so they can't charge me further. But I used my debit card for Natra Pure, what should I do? Has anyone had any success canceling their order BEFORE they got charged the 85$ or whatever it is? Is the only way to just cancel my debit card?

I too had been seduced by Dr Oz, Ophra, GMA, etc. on the benefits of this product. They should have investigated the shameless way theses people are ripping off innocent people. They are nothing but shameless con artists. I used my debit card instead of a credit card which I am sooo sorry I did. I didn't realize I was going to be debited $190.00 it was suppose to be ~$10.00 in shipping and handing. Even though I have canceled (I hope) my bank cannot protect me. According to my bank the only recourse is to change my bank account I cannot stop payment as with a credit card. I have auto pay and direct deposits why should I have to go through all the agony of changing my bank account because of snake oil sales people. Whatever you do don't buy this product on line it's like owing your soul to the company store. There is a website Colon Health Magazine that lists available products at your local health food store and the products are graded excellent to fair.

Went to the mailbox today and found an unsolicited package of Natra pure with a small note that stated that they are going to begin billing me $92.31 a month beginning 13 days after the date of order. The note claimed that I ordered this product on August 31 and stated that I will keep getting the product and get billed unless I call them to cancel.

I have not called them but I did call and cancel my only credit card just to keep them from billing me. It is peculiar that I just purchased a product from EBAY using PENPAL a couple of weeks ago and am wondering if there is a connection there. The note also says "We do not "except" (I believe they mean ACCEPT) returns that have been shipped". I plan on filing a complaint at the Post Office against the NATRA PURE company tomorrow.

I haven't even started taking the pills but I received my free bottle today and when I read how much it was going to cost each month ($92.00) I called the numbers that were on the sheet of paper that came with the bottle. No luck. One number was not even a working phone number. After about dialing six different numbers, I finally got hold of Ashley at Natra Pure. I told her I wanted to cancel and she talked to me for over 45 minutes without canceling my order. When I told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor, she put me on hold and after waiting 10minutes, I was disconnected. I have writtedd a letter to their home office demanding them to cancel this order and to send me an e-mail verifying the receipt of the letter and confirming the cancellation. I also told them not to use my credit card again. I told them that if they did not comply with my demands, I would contact my lawyer.

I recieved my bottles while on vacation and got home to find that I had been charged 90.00 dollars. I called and this guy kept saying he was sorry but he would send me some more free products. I told him no and ask for a verification number saying I was cancelled which I got after a lot of arguing. who knows if that is a good number. I will be going to every sight I can find to get the word out.

I had an exact same experience with this company except they charged me over $90 for a bottle. They have several difererent numbers/names too so they can charge multilpe times during any given month. I asked to talk to someone in charge and ofcourse they said he/she is not available...bogus! I called my bank to report a fraud so I can get my money back. I had to close my ATM card (apparently the charges are tied in to card # I gave the company) and get a card with different number so they can't access my account any more. If they are still stealing from yu consult your bank or credit card company, they're really helpful ;) Are their product even reliable? I haven't tried it and doubt I ever will.

Natra Pure Fraud

It seems the Natra Pure and Colon Cleanse have moved up a step. My husbands CC information was stolen, and the bank called after two consecutive charges to the same company of equal amounts. We worked with the bank finding several small charges, canceled the cards, called the credit bureau, thought we were clear.
Today I get a curious package, and it contains this bottle of pills with a scrap of paper telling me if I don't cancel w/in 14 days, they will automatically ship and bill close to $100/mo. I called the number, told them the number was stolen, that we don't want the product and to do whatever they have to do to clear it up. The guy on the phone had the cheek to try to tell me what a great product it was and did I want to know more.
No, I said, my colon is fine, thank you, I never wanted this product, and that the shipping and handling charge is incurred by a subcontracted company is not my problem.

Had it not been for the bank calling, the tiny charges might well have gone unnoticed until the much larger charges showed up. If I wanted to perpetuate internet fraud, this scam would be ingenious. Steal peoples information, sell it to a company to sign people up, giving them a "chance to cancel" and then hit them for close to $100, banking that the time to clear the mess up will be longer than the time it takes you to withdraw the cash and be gone. I shudder to think what the 4-5 other "small" charges have bought for us.

Natra Pure Credit Card Scam

Natra Pure is a credit card scam. They coax the customer into providing a credit card number to cover shipping charges of approximately $4.00 and then within a few days of recieving your product they charge your card nearly $100.00. They begin your trial period the moment you place the order but you don't get your package for several days later so by the time you receive your package you could already be charged. Then you do try to call and cancel the numbers either don't work or tell you "Our office is closed, please call back during business hours". It's important to note that the company doesn't appear to be "open" during their advertised business hours. Also, they offer no way to contact or cancel by e-mail. Don't be fooled by clever internet scams, stay away from this one.

If only I would of seen this website before I tried to order. I never even ordered the product and still received it. I have no idea how this happened. Before I clicked on the submit my order, I read the small print of how you would get a trial membership in this company and that company. If you didn't cancel you would be charged. I thought forget it, its not worth the hassle.
Then I got an email saying submit your order. I deleted it. I STILL GOT THE STUPID PRODUCT. I was also amazed at how
angry I got when the woman on the phone would continue to try to sell me more of the product for 20 minutes. I thought I was going to reach in the phone and kill her. Finally, she cancelled my order. I haven't received my credit card bill yet to see if there are any charges on it, you can bet if there are I will be calling SOMEONE!

This company is a HUGE SCAM! I called them to let them know I was charged $89.00 after the fact I had cancelled due to being pregnant! They will not provide a telephone number to their coporate headquarters, or their refund department. ALL customer service resps said their is no phone number, only an address! Of course all of their supervisors are not available or are in a meeting everytime, at any time during the day! ALL I want is my money back, and since they charge you the day you order, or at least that's when your trial period begins, they will NOT refund your money! PLEASE, if someone out there is interested in this product, DO NOT BUY IT! HUGE SCAM and you will LOSE your money forever! This company should be shute down, and Oprah and Dr. Oz should be really emabarrased that they have advertised this product! Huge disapointment!

Oh i agree totally with this. Luckily I got ahold of someone after sitting on hold for 15 minutes. Then their "no hassle cancelling" had me actually yelling at the man (something very unlike me.) He kept trying to offer me more and more because he was "only trying to help me" First they offered me a 2 month supply for 69.00 and when i told them no just cancel they offered me a 3 month supply for 87.00. I told them "why would i order more of something that doesnt work?" They then told me it takes 30-45 days for natra pure to even start to work properly... yeah right. I would totally tell people DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. But finally after telling them to cancel 8 times he got the hint, after i said "oh is this what they call the no hassle cancelling in your country?" So it better not show up on my card at the end of the month :)
