MyContractorLocator.com Dishonest

I’ve been in the home improvement business for over 30 years. I have used several Search company’s for many years. I decided to sign up with MYCONTRACTORLOCATOR to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE….We had to return the first few leads as they just weren’t leads at all. I just didn’t use them any more.
Some time later, they decided to charge my card for over 10 leads that I never got nor are they from an area where I do work. We objected and tried to contact them….Good luck! They refuse to credit my card. The matter is in dispute with AMEX.
It’s my opinion that they are a dishonest company with no regard for quality leads. I believe they only want to rack up as much as they can and hope the contractor gives up the fight.

MyContractorLocator.com Bad service

I made a complaint on this site because during our slowest time of year, they inappropriately billed my bank account, leaving us with fewer acorns to make it through the winter. The owner tried to pay me off to retract my complaint. He was very antagonistic, and threatening me with complaints against the bbb, and calling the police on me! this company loves to antagonize they are good at it, and I'm sure the reason why is because they are constantly dealing with disgruntled customers that feel ripped off!

So I went home and read my contract and my billing policy to make sure I hadn't jumped the gun.

I hadn't, the billing policy states, "Your application fee of 100 dollars will be credited to the total available balance of your account." It was not. The 2 leads I bought, for a total of 90.00, and tried to return twice but they were still stating that I had a 90.00 balance on my account. So I at least figured that I wouldn't be billed on my bank account because it was not above and beyond my application fee. The man on the phone, dennis says he's related to the man on the answering machine with the identical voice called Ron, said "You don't know how we do things here." Well if he disclosed all of his terms on his contract then I would know...Oh yes, and a few days after signing the contract I was sent the notice that I would be billed daily instead of weekly. I'm sure this is a standard form they send out. I really believe that this company moves forward with a methodology of extortion.

This company is one of the worst! They send you a list of leads alright, but they are very old when you receive them. When you buy one it's someone who has no money and does not intend to buy. Then they arbitrarily bill you for leads you don't buy. When you try to call them and complain they don't answer or return your calls. If you finally get someone on the phone they are very condescending and call you "sweetheart". The man on the phone was named Chris.

This company is a total scam. We had them for about 5 months. The leads were stale or invalid. Then they charged our account over $300. claiming they were behind in billing. After reconciling the account I more than proved that they were wrong and insisted they refund our money to our bank account. They claimed to put a hold on the 2nd draft until it was resolved. 6 days later and no response they charged my account again. They laughed on the other line when we tried to get them to do the right thing, calling me Sweetheart, my boss who was listening on speaker phone, Sport. They claimed we violated their honor system when they did a review audit of our leads. Chris who claims to be the owner is a common thief and scammer. Bank of America has had to deal with them before on a claims level and has had about enough of them. They will be taking action from this point forward. Avoid these people at all costs.

They do what they want, say what they want, they take money out of your account unauthorized, "They play the I have your money game, I am in control, they say they make lots of money and ther'e time is so valuable but act like buzzards with attitudes on a road kill to wessel a little money." Who Starving?" They or he act like a little spoiled "Brat" in the candy store when MaMa says "NO!", put up a fit and call names, try to attimidate you, say unprofessional words and then call you "Unprofessional!" We as customers have to stop letting them get away with this type of activity. We need to contact the federal goverment and have them to create some type of "Federal Law Inforcement For Online Bussiness Fraud!" If they get away with 50.00 from 2 million people, that is 100 million dollars and a "Lion still on the loose!' "BUT!", THAT IS 2 MILLION PEOPLE SCARED FROM FRAUD. Can you take a few minutes of your time to help make bussiness better for our money.
