I'm writing you to let you know I've been a member with the moose a few times.Being busy latley I let my membership go last I was a member in redford and I Dearborn heights too.So the reason I'm writing you is Dearborn heights me and my friends and family went too quite often yesterday my friend took me there signed me in I was not even drinking she is a member for years I was saying hi to many people that know me.I was rudely treated by Mike a governor and another lady yelling across the bar saying I was bared from there.That I never ever have been told or written up ever .It was very embarrassing as the least.plus the young ladybi never Meer told me if I didn't leave she would call the police I do not know her at all.If I'm bared from a club shouldn't I have known and why.Needless to say me my friends and family will never go back.The only thing a few years ado I questioned why my credit card was run for over 380 dollars in Dearborn heights moose called many time to talk about it and went there too no one would talk to me about the charges that were godly wrong so after talking to the barmaid and calling I disputed the charges they were way wrong.Then from many dear members that know me well they were telling everyone I reported there gambling machines to the state .And I got many calls from members saying they were blaming me for that .That I did not ever do .I do only good things to support the moose and my friends and family do also .This is no way to treat a honest person that supports the moose the vets and any organizations. If I was brought in front of the board and written up wich I was not for no wrong doing I understand The mistreatment of Dearborn heights moose sickens me the way I was treated and it is uncalled for.Ty so much for reading my letter if you would like to contact me my name is Tammy Sharp [protected].

The H.I.P. plan the Moose is lending their support to is a giant ripoff. I declared my status as a veteran before ever signing up because some of the materials this plan asks for will NOT be divulged by the V.A. The lip service was that "they totally understood as long as diagnosis was signed by a doctor." I signed up. A few months later out of left field I was hospitalized and found to have TERMINAL LUNG CANCER! I am dying! My claim has dragged on and just had to PAY another payment. They want pathology report which the V.A. will NOT give them. Paperwork sent them SIGNED by my doctor clearly states the condition. I want them to stop dragging feet on my claim.

The officers at this lodge are behaving like high school kids in a clique. The Vice President Larry talks about all the officers and stirs conflict among the trustees. The officers are not working together for a common goal they are all at each others throats. It’s felt throughout the members. The social quarters staff stay frustrated and appear unhappy. The president Ron character has been attacked in front of members. It very apparent these officials do not get along or mesh well for the sake of the lodge.

A memorial service was scheduled 4/15/2023 for a long time member at the North Platte Nebraska lodge.

We scheduled a time to come in early before the service to set up the equipment needed for a slide show. No one would let us in at scheduled time. We tried calling the number we had used previously to correspond but to no avail. Due to this complete neglect the service was without the slide show and music we had prepared due to lack of time to set up and check what we needed for the equipment to sync.

I'm highly disappointed with the head of the women of the moose lodge in north Platte Nebraska.

Our lady of the moose who was completely dedicated to this organization for decades got a sham of a memorial service due to incompetent leadership.

I would like to know how you can have a administrator fight and rip his clothes apart in a moose and threaten to kill threatening with a gun a moose member over a female. This took place may 12,2023 in the evening. philbert Myers thinks he can do anything he wants and he acts like he Owens the moose he has ran many members away. That's why the moose has been doing poorly. I was a member there and my husband and I was pushed out by Myers. I know like 10 to 15 members would love to be back at the moose and not be threatened by Mr. myers

Moose lodge # 410 Administrator gets drunk and breaks the rules and covers up for friends who act the fool I have video of him throwing coins at ppls drinks around the bar that could potentially hurt someone anyone else behave like that and he throws them out! He also has expressed in actions some racism toward guys and blacks by singling them out or kicking them out he seems to think it's his own personal playhouse the club is suffering for it by loosing money and members quitting he must be stopped before he ruins what we have built

Moos Lodge 1844 WOTM 1541

If you are not in the women clique you don't get a chance to run for an officer position. They get their friends who don't even go to meeting or find out about anyone before making the decision they can't run. I started going to the meeting in January and our Senior Regent couldn't run a meeting right, and half the time she had been drinking. The other women on the board had to tell her what to read. Now mind you she has already been in office over 9 months. I feel the laws need to change as for the WOTM you should have to at least tend to 6 meeting or get your membership cancelled. This is only fair because only a handful go and those are the ones want to run for the board and get turned away. Something need to done at this moose. I feel so many other lodges are in the same boat as we are. We all pay dues and support but when it comes time for new members to try serve on the board we are all shot down. Plus boards members should only be allow to serve 1 year and step out for a year to give a chance for others to serve and achieve their goals.

Hello I am a member of the moose in Lucerne Valley California 92356. Tonight I was at the Lucerne Valley CA chapter and while at the establishment a customer had a massive pile of porn magazines at the bar. It made me and my spouse extremely uncomfortable. We voiced our opinion of the inappropriate behavior to the bartender, Brenda and went outside. While we went outside the man who brought the pornogrophy ino the estableshment followed us outside and continued to harass us. My spouse told him to leave us alone and he swung a punch at my fiance while we were sitting down. He continued to attack us. I went inside and told the bartender what happened and that we needed to pay our bill and leave. She told me that it was my fault! as I went back outside the man who goes by kiefer was continuing to harass us. I yelled at him and he pushed me to the ground and physically assaulted me. The person in charge told me to leave! I am completely appalled by the entire situation! I am a dues paying member of this organization and am completely appalled by the management of the Lucerne Valley establishment. This is not what the organization stands for. I absolutely want my money back and an apology from the local chapter. Hardcore pornogrophy was bieng distributed at the bar and we were followed outside and attacked. children were present inside and the entire situation was completely inappropriate. the bartender should absolutely be terminated! As a member of this organization we are appalled and offended that the Lucerne Valley California moose lodge should be looked into because it is a horrible and unsafe environment. I will never be a member or volunteer ever again and they should be disgraced to use the name Moose.

Attached is a copy of a flier of an event that Lodge #683 was going to sponsor for the 4-H club (Virginia Cooperation Extension of Virginia Tech and Virginia State University) in our area. We have now been advised that we can not do that event by Moose International. We are a very rural area, with fishing and hunting a main part of our lives. I have been a Moose member for 31 years and it really upsets me that we can not support the 4-H club and our young people. I rather have our children supervised out in the woods than sitting in front of a computer looking at WHATEVER. I am very, very disappointed in this decision. From what I understand, a petition was sent to you and majority do not even know where Exmore, VA is located.

I have been a moose member for a while now and I have witness and experienced some humiliating disrespectful unethical bad morally things and as the days and even years pass it seems not to be getting qnt better I don't know the rules of officers bar tenders what they are to abide by or how they are to act but this is all ridiculous I have witnessed and or experienced certian officers apriaching me during election times stating we want so and so buted out or so and so's they ended up butting the one out their is so much hate and bickering bad mouthing coming from officers mainly one male and then there's the issue with the WOTM the head lady I don't know where her ethics and morality is but she is Constantine telling people of every thing has to be done her way once I witnessed her ripping a table clothes ifff a table at a bake sale right in front of the bake sale runner for that month and saying no no no table clothes we don't do that litteral ripping it off she complains no one wants to come to wtom meetings or be an officer or chair and what not lol I bite my lip cause I wonder why she's queen and people do run for offices and stuff but if she don't like that person rather anyone else does or not she sees to it that their application for office is denied you can tell who she likes and don't there are too many game playings going in here in one way or another no matter what she is bilergantly rudely the boss. As for the male officer in question in my earlier statement he needs to be the one booted out we are forced to not like someone because he doesn't ect I was under the impression that officers male and or female were a unity and support each other and the members but it's obvious it's a compition if who's better than who and you can see and feel the tension so correct me if iam wrong aren't officer supposed to be more ethical respectful ect do we really need rude disrespectful officers running the show and as for bar tenders I've witnessed the same kinda attitude I came in one day juke box was playing heard q lady at the bqr use f word then a while lqter juke box had stopped I and some others heard her use the word again and and officer who hear said hey she looked back at him and turned and said turn the just ke box on and the bar tenders sai yea and up loud too supporting the fawl language as u normal hear that language.coming from the bar in a regular basis but that day with the bar tenders response was rather humiliating granted no on has to like people int it still an officers respectful duty not to let it show and have others not like them either it's like a joke show with the officers and bar tenders their are too many cliques and the kitchen staff omg that's another humiliating story and it's ran on a unsanitary matter no hair net and what not ...the officers bar tenders not only have the type off attidudes I have already mentioned but they have a voiced I don't care ..so what..I don't have too attidude I thought a moose club was a family united supportive group of people who done things for children and elderly and for each other and the community but I guess I was wrong it's a compition if who's better then who and who can brake a rule and who can't qnd whining because they can't get help qnd no one wants to but obviously the reason being is mostly because if the officers attitude or depends if officers like them or not lol it's a joke I don't think I'm going to renew my membership come time but we,ll see other insidences have been witnessed but as you can probably see I'm not a very good typest or speller

I applied for membership and paid the dues and I was advised the committee would vote on it. I then received a letter stating I was not qualified after a background check. That's hard to believe unless the check was conducted to verify I'm not Caucasian. I am a Hispanic law enforcement officer with prior military service and a clean record. Its hard to believe racial discrimination still exists in Fredericksburg but more disturbing is the state of Virginia still approves their permits

Hi my name is diane poirier and i ham haveing a problem with a women at the waltham moose in mass me and this women don't even talked and i texted her out side the moose and she said i thraten her but i really don't think so and she wants me kicked out of the moose when i went there last saturday i was told to leave and the wouldn't serve me and i was kicked out and till i go in front of the board but the woman that has the complaint against me said thing in the bar and to other people and it make me feel very uncomfortable so l leave i been at the moose for all most ten years and there has never been a complaint against me if some could please give a call back and let me know what i can do

My name is David Ortiz, membership #[protected] from Lodge 863 of Fontana , Ca. I have been the treasurer for over 5 yrs . I also am a past Govenor of this lodge .On Oct.22 2022 I attended an officers meeting . After about an hour of discussing Business matters , I was asked to leave the meeting by the President ,on a suggestion by the area Mgr. Mr. Kenneth Coop and Chaplin Lynda [censored] . On Oct.24,2022 I attended an Officers meeting , asked the reason for asking me to leave .No reason was given nor written in the minutes of the meeting .I have been an officer in this lodge for over 20 years ,when they needed one .I have turned in my resignation . I feel very disrespected and not a way to run a meeting . Thank You David Ortiz

The administrator for Winchester Va lodge 1283 has committed the following violations against the lodge:

He gave a key to the lodge to an unauthorized individual because “she’s a friend and I trust her.” When this was reported to the territory manager he said “I’ll take care of it.” Nothing happened, Larry is still in his position.

In addition the lodge is in dire financial straights and the board was not notified of it until the territory manager sat in on a meeting and informed them of a mismanagement of over $100,000.

His daughter is the treasurer and his wife collects money from the machines etc. and his entire family walks into the kitchen whenever they choose.

I feel that he needs to be removed for the good of the lodge.

I am a member of Middletown Ohio Moose Lodge 501. I have been a member for over a year. During this time. I have witnessed board members getting intoxicated and cussing and being rude. I have also witnessed fraud with a board member. The the board member I am referring to is Rod Yarber. Rod is dating Moose member Vanessa Clark. Vanessa works for the Middletown Police department. Vanessa has the Moose donate money to her police department events. Rod oversees the transaction and is the one who gives his girlfriend the money. I just recently witnessed Vanessa approach Rod about getting money for a police activity. Rod gave her the money around $3,000. The next week Rod,Vanessa and the rest of the board members went on a group vacation to Florida. The board members are a tight group who sit together get intoxicated and make rude judgmental remarks about Moose members. I do not pay my dues so they can take my due money and go on vacation together. Or have Rod pay his girlfriend out of my dues. This is out of control and needs investigated.

I recently became a member of Moose Lodge 1021 in Lake Elsinore, CA. On my third visit to the lodge I walk in and the bartender (heavy set, dark hair, kinda has a limp.. not sure of her name) says "I need to see your card". So I show her. Then like 5 minutes later she says loudly in front of the whole bar that my sponsor "backed out" after we both signed the application and I has paid the $70 membership fee, she said that i wasnt allowed to be there cuz I didn't get accepted. Even though i just had been accepted 3 days before. Look, I don't get drunk, I don't fight, I'm not unruly, I'm not a convicted felon or any other disqualifying qualities. THE ONLY REASON SHE DID THAT WAS 100 % BECAUSE SHE'S A HATER AND IS JEALOUS CUZ IM PRETTIER AND NICER THAN HER. I go outside to calm down. Then I mustered up the courage to go back inside and ask her why. But I never got the chance because the bartender was bad mouthing me - a girl she had only met that day - to the other members inside the lodge when I went back inside. I ran to my car and cried. I will never go back there if that bartender isn't canned immediately .

I asked about booking for an entertainer that has preformed at this lodge many times. When asked I was told to talk with Chuck. I tried to give Chuck one of the entertainers cards. He handed it back to me and told me he would never work there again. Chuck said he was playing there on a Friday night and was drunk and belligerent.

I was shocked to hear this I have known this entertainer for years. Also I have been to all his shows at this moose with the exception of St. Patrick day ( that was NOT on a Friday). And I never saw any behavior Chuck mentioned.

The more disturbing thing is I ran into a friend and the entertainers name came up and She told me word for word what Chuck told me. She has told me in the past she only likes entertainers that plays a lot of line dances and this entertainer doesn’t.

I can’t help but think the either Chuck is spreading rumors that are not true, or my friend told this to Chuck and he is going on hearsay.. either way, something is very wrong.

I was going to ask Chuck about it, but he was at the bar, obviously drunk.
