MochaHost Web hosting service

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Malik and I am the Founder/Director Business Development of multiple companies related to internet services (including Customer Service/Contact Centers, Telecom Company and Online Stores) in Pakistan. I have been facing too many issues with a company named Mochahost in your state. I have filed multiple cases against them on BBB as well, but all in vain. Thus, I would like you to kindly look in to this matter and save the lives of various innocent people whose hard earned money they are eating just like anything. Please review two of my recent cases below: 1.) BBB CASE#: 458360 BBB Link: https://sanjose.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/458360/c/u9mp2e I had my data present in my suspended Shared Hosting Account. I was told by CSR that upon clearing my pending invoices, I would get my data in acc. Cutting long story shot: As per their SO CALLED support team member Mr. Zack. I had my data present in my suspended 'Shared Hosting Account'. I was told by him that upon clearing your pending invoices, I would be able to get hold of it, but upon clearing both the penidng invoices when I got in to my account/cpanel there was nothing present. Everything was reset. And when I told the support guy Mr. Zack about the situation. He said, he was waiting on the administrators to respond and it took forever, and I went offline telling him that I would return back in sometime to see the status. Anyways, upon contacting them again there was a NEW GUY named Mr. Martin who was unaware of what happened and I had to explain him everything from the scratch and after wasting my ample time, he said that I should create a ticket to contact the adminstrators directly. I asked him to put Zack online and he said he was busy with someone else. Anyways, I left the chat and created a ticket and here the WORST OF THE WORST story starts. I got a response from them that they were NOT RESPONSIBLE for the data loss or backups. Upon which I told them that alright, I had downloaded FULLSITE backup from their CRAP server which isn't working EITHER. Hence, it was THEIR fault to fix things up for me then. Either they should have NOT deleted my data from my account OR the backup that I downloaded from their CRAP server should have been good enough and contained full files of Database instead of files those were empty/0 kb in size. But they have SUCH A GREAT support that I cannot explain in words - they BLUNTLY kept on saying it's NOT their responsibility to provide backups or take care of consistency of my backups. I mean HUH! Then whose responsibility is that? I would like some authorities to take GOOD care of these burglars/rookies and TEACH them a good lesson. They hare ripping off many people. I have following proofs against them: 1.) EVEN after stopping them - they have been mentally torturing me by spamming me with their CRAP and torturing emails with repeated statements that they were NOT repsonible for my backups/data. 2.) Their support staff telling me that they had my data with them and upon clearing the invoices, I would get access to my data in the account/cpanel. Conclusion: Sitting online on a chair for hours and hours fixing the CRAP backup files/code of my website I downloaded from their server, has resulted severe and constant pains in my eyes, head and my backbone altogether. 1.) My vision has affected in a way that I am not able to see things from a bit far. And there is a constant pain in my eyes for which doctors have advised me to stop using computer. Which if I would do, I won't be able to earn anything, because, most of my earning is from internet. 2.) My backbone/legs have affected in way that I am not able to walk properly, it seems that I have got a vein/artery pinched in my vertebrae and my legs have paralysed to some extent (they are not able to hold my body weigth properly). 3.) My head has developed a constant ache which is so frustrating that I am not able to concentrate on anything for longer time periods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.) BBB CASE#: 460648 BBB Link: https://sanjose.ebindr.com/complaint/view/460648/c/m4yp2b# They are not refunding my money which they are supposed to. I cancelled my service the very next day. This issue is the 2nd part of the same (previous) case (Complaint ID#: 458360) against this CRAP company. They stated that if you cancel the service within 7 days, you will get the refund. I cancelled within 2 days, and they were supposed to process my refund with in 7 days (as per their policy). I filed the request on 19th and they have kept me waiting till date. Upon e-mailing them to inquire the update they have blocked me from their support portal and said that you have used abusive language. Whereas, I did not use a single abusive word - I have all of my e-mails as proof. I have been just a bit angry on them but have always kept ethics in mind. And now they are THREATENING AND HARASSING me that they will close my account and let me go without any refunds. If I do not apologize with their CRAPPPPPPPPPPPP support team. I repeat - This case is the 2nd part of the above mentioned case (Complaint ID#: 458360) against this CRAP company. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attached are the proofs from the case # 1, which will tell you the story of what they have been doing with me. MochaHost Damagingly rubbish service

Apart from the absolutely poor performance and unreliability, this rubbish host has an atrocious customer service, they have idiots from India (I love indians as friends, they tend to have little concept of customer service however, but I hate idiots wherever they are from, and the staff were not competent in either IT nor any language I know, about 6 excluding hindi which I do not know), apart from that then, they were good enough to allow the domain of an anti malaria not for profit information site, to expire without warning and they now expect the organisation to shell out 250$ to get the site back or wait until they decide to let it go on backorder, by the way if someone would like to contribute the organisation would appreciate it, Anyhow don't go anywhere near mochahost, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

MochaHost WORST HOST

The Worst Host ever. They will provide good service for 2 months, then they will change to really bad servers where yu face daily downtimes, mostly more than 1 hr. While contacting them, you used to get the below response.
Jake: I have investigated the problem with our system administrators and it appears that it is a temporary technical issue which will be resolved shortly. We apologize for the caused inconvenience.
Really worst. Dont buy hosting pack from them.

MochaHost Mochahost is a fraud company

This is to inform to the general public against Mochahost company which is run by some bulgarians and company is a registered LLC in California USA. The company claims 100% uptime and also shows lots of awards and certificates for their superior support and hosting but in fact this hosting company is one of the worst hosting company, I have ever seen in my life.

I bought a business hosting account from this company around a month back. For the first two days everything seems to be fine.
The company showed me so many awards and certificates and their response was fantastic before the sales was made.

I was also happy with the way, their sales team gave me the response.

Before buying the hosting account, I made it clear to the hosting company that this hosting account will be used to show the web-development work to my clients on whose projects we would be working.

I also told them that my hosting account must be online 24X7 coz my clients are from different geographic locations, the sales team of mocha host assured me that they would offer me one of the best hosting servers and will ensure that I do not have any problem, In return, I also told them that I will also ensure that all my customers buy the hosting from their company.

But the real story now begins

1. Every single day, my hosting goes offline for 1-2 hours.
2. When ever I try to import some heavy database on my website or has some extra visiotrs, the website always use to tell me that I have exceed server resources.
3. Most of the time during the peak hours, the websites always use to show bad gateway and gateway time out.
4. Recently they asked me to upgrade to a VPS server by paying 30 USD per month additional to the company, I did some internet research on this company and found that Mochahost use to do the same with all their customers and finally I asked to cancel my hosting account

In this regard I have made several complaints almost daily to the team of mochahost either via chat, or via email and also to their support ticket system, I also have had a discussion with the Customer Quality and Customer Support Vice President Miss Ann Hudson about the same, how ever I doubt if she really exist or if this is her real name.

She also ensured me that there would not be any problem in the future and kept on wasting my time.

When ever I use to ask for my refund, the customer support staff, use to tell me that this is a temporary problem and will get resolved in next 2-3 minutes and always kept me waiting.

Today it has been more than 40 days and the problem still exist. I Have not seen any changes in my services and hosting account.

When finally I asked for a refund from this company, they are making the excuses that they do not have any authority to refund me the money and only their management can do that.

I strongly feel that the company is trying to make me fool by saying all this.

They are trying to divert the matter in some other direction.

I also have some more complaints against this company.

1. The company claims on their website that they offer 24X7 customer support via their toll free number. I tried to call their company more than 20 times and tried different departments but every time the IVR use to tell me that the staff is busy with some other customer. Later the chat executive told me that they do not offer any support via phone and only offer call back service.

Now the matter arise that if the company offers only call back service, how their staff is busy supporting others customers. Why have they mentioned that offer toll free customer support 24X7. The company seems to be a fraudlent company.
2. They have a parent company with the name mochain.com where there is no number, no address, no contact details.
Even in the paypal support, they have entered a wrong number and thus I feel, such kind of companies must be banned from doing the business and making others fool.

The real story begin after this, after making several complaints to the company, I finally decided to ask for the full value refund, I deserve a full value refund as I faced problem since the beginning, but company seems to be so greedy and denied me the full refund and told me that they will deduct the value of 2 months and will refund me in 7 days, I told them that I have faced problem since beginning and hence I deserve the full refund.

All of a sudden company blocked my hosting account and canceled my hosting account as well as the the support system, they even blocked my IP from their chat support.
Since last 3 days I am asking the company to provide me the full cpanel backup along with the mysql details but they are trying to play some stupid games with me telling me that they can only provide me the public_html backup and nothing more than that, I really do not know how they claim to be number 1 hosting company when they do not know that without mysql backup, php files are totally useless.

Now when ever I try to talk to them using some other internet connection, they keep on repeating the same two lines. Which can be seen in one of the copy and pasted chat with their online support representative KEVIN.

Now when ever I try to chat with their support staff online, company use to simply close my chat session without even listening to me.

Such kind of companies only harass the customers and nothing more.

I would like to request you to kindly look into the matter and take a strong, very strong action on this company and also put a heavy penalty on this company.

I am also worried about my data on their server, I strongly feel that company will try to harrass me by blocking my data on their servers. They know very well that my this data is really important for me and my clients and they will simply try to block this data and will harass me for this complaint.

I simply want a complete refund of my money which I paid to the company which is 88.20 USD and also I want a complete backup of my files hosted on their servers at the domain www.cmswar.org

Hope you will look into the matter and will take quick, strict and appropriate action on the same

Yes I confirm. Mochahost scammed me, they suspended my website without any reason. I don't understand.
I worked hard to develop my audience, I spend a lot of time to right good articles. After 2 years, they charged me $100 I don't know how (basic shared plan). I am very disappointed. I'll never trust them again.

MochaHost this company not a good sopprt

that company not a good support team when i complaint in live chat they always said you have open a ticket when i was open ticket then i will wait for 24 hr. don't solve the problem and said some problem on your website and automatically suspend your web account but they are very bad hosting services provider

your account has been suspend this message showing more then 100 website

I have got my data and mochahost.com gave support within 36 hours. Now am successfully running my all websites at mochahogst.com

I would like to request you to kindly look into the matter and take a strong, very strong action on this company and also put a heavy penalty on this company.

I am also worried about my data on their server, I strongly feel that company will try to harrass me by blocking my data on their servers. They know very well that my this data is really important for me and my clients and they will simply try to block this data and will harass me for this complaint.

I simply want a complete refund of my money which I paid to the company which is 88.20 USD and also I want a complete backup of my files hosted on their servers at the domain www.cmswar.org

Hope you will look into the matter and will take quick, strict and appropriate action on the same

their technical department keeps lying ..

my server goes down frequently... and they said it a problem on my local ISP

I provided full proof and test reports from proxies and pings from all over the world proving server IP: 204.93.178.102 was down where my domain was hosted.

they just simply refused the reports and said they do not accept them.

Mr George P. @ mochahost was replying to my tickets on support department.

At the same time I was chatting to one of their live representative and he accpted that there has been technical issues, and Mr. George P. @ mochahost kept lying that server is up and problem is on my local ISP

I clearly got Mr George P. @ mochahost lying to my tickets.. I have filed a complain against him now...

My problem is not solved yet... Its been 8 hrs now..

I am moving my domains to different hosting now..

very bad hosting service... dont get fooled...

we had purchased a hosting service from mochahost.com and had hosted three websites with them and one additional website was in demo mode under sub domain. Now day before yesterday night I mean on 14th of June we saw there was nothing displayed on websites ...Then we discover from our control panel that there is NO DATA in any of the databases configured in their control panel. we have been requesting them lot of times on support ticket to see the issue and they are sending us no response... we are loosing our business and hence we paid them a lot. we have purchased 3 year plan from them where we have private jvm and we can host unlimited websites...

Mochahost was listed In TOP 10 companies for hosting and we saw the review information on internet.. We have been using their services from last 3 years but this is the second time we faced such a critical problem and no response. Hence we faced a mail deletion problem 3 months back ...

I faced the same problem and all my data for my 3 websites hosted is lost now...They are not responding to my tickets and online chat person is always saying to open ticket. They always say that we are escalating your request to our seniors...but nothing happens...I am loosing my customer mail now...

Mocha host is the worst service provider. Even they are not good than the local service providers. The day will come when they wil start crying :(

Please be warned and do not use Mochahost.com as they will not honor their contract and will sucker you in buying their cheap plans to later demand more payment from you (after your payment has settled) claiming you are using too many resources and forcing you to upgrade your plan.
