Weebly Mixed Feelings About Weebly: Proceed with Caution

After analyzing various reviews about Weebly, it's clear that the platform has received mixed feedback from users. While some customers appreciate the ease of use and design options, others have expressed frustration with the lack of customer support, technical glitches, and sudden price increases. It seems that Weebly's transition, especially after being acquired by Square, has led to a decline in user satisfaction. Potential customers should approach using Weebly with caution, considering the reported issues related to customer service, technical functionality, and pricing policies.

Weebly New owners of Weebly are horrible

I have helped many establish webpages with weebly! They were great!
They are impossible to reach by phone, email yo-yo omg! They removed all my pages after 8 years! High school page, Historical Pages with pictures that cannot retrieve! They say for $80. They will bring my page back! They have my $80. And I still have not gotten the page back! I found an email from hem in spam mail? I get weebly.com mail, or used too! These folks need to be investigated!

Weebly Amazing, Quick, Easy, and Fun sites!

My site, mymmbr.tk, was made easily using Weebly. I put it together with little coding knowledge and a perfectionist personality, but I don't think there is really much left to change. With Weebly, I have been able to create many sites in a short amount of time with little to no effort. Now Weebly just came out with "Apps" that can be used to further increase the value of your site. If I had found this place before, I would have made hundreds more sites, and would probably use them for every school project I have. Weebly is great as free, and the Pro features can be found for free elsewhere if you are dedicated to having them without the cost. If you're looking for a website creator, use Weebly!

Weebly Weebly Inc

Weebly rectified any disputes in a timely manner. The web designer assigned to my project clearly spelled out the time frame of the project even while he was held in a meeting. The sequence of e-mails were misread and it was my fault for not looking carefully. Marshall the initial sales representative only briefed me on the project details but did not specif as to what type of web sites could be done in one day. The web designer determined that a real estate website would take much more time to complete and 2-3 weeks was more realistic. The hold time of 20-30 minutes was due to the high volume of calls in peak hours of operation. Weebly immediately refunded my money and requested feedback. I am satisfied with the services Weebly has to offer the general public.

Weebly Was eliminated through Microsoft Small Biz life or

Was eliminated through Microsoft Small Biz life or whatever they were called and had to bring my web pages over before they were shut down. Did not want to join their new 360 product and looked everywhere. Coudn't find any web page hosting/design that would let me do all the things I was used to. Keywords, integrate PayPal, link to other web pages, add photos, have multiple pages, name my title pages etc. I am not a pro but got my three pages switched over no problem and added three new pages. I absolutely love it. The most important part were the keywords which I can add and tailor myself as I need to AND the title pages for each of your web pages to show up on Google. I am no 1 on Google in my town just because of my keywords and web page titles. All for under $100 per year (pro member ship ? otherwise it's free). I went with the pro program to be able to have more web pages. Also to just make duplicate web pages ( I needed a lot of web presence) its so easy just copy the web page that works and get a new domain for it and you are up and running. These Yodel people called today trying to make me sign up and I just told them I don't need to pay for their service bc I am on page 1 by myself (not to mention the horrible reviews for Yodle)
Anyways, long story short. Try it for free, play with it, and upgrade to pro if you need it. It has everything to market yourself on Google and be seen.

Weebly Terrible Customer Service Experience with Weebly: Missing Items on Site for Over a Week with No ETA or Communication

I've been using Weebly for a good 4 months now and I gotta say, it's been a pretty decent experience. I've spent a lot of time designing my website to look just the way I want it to, and I've been pretty happy with the Square integration. However, things took a turn for the worse last Monday (which was like 9 days ago, by the way).

So, I had a client ask me if I had removed some items from my site because they couldn't find them anymore. I logged in to check and sure enough, they were missing. I immediately called customer support and was put on hold for a whopping 45 minutes. Finally, a CS rep answered and said that it was something wrong on their end and created a ticket for me.

The next day, I called in for a check up and the CS rep said that no one had even looked at my account yet, but she had seen this issue before. I mean, if it's a known issue, shouldn't there be a quick fix for it? She couldn't give me any ETA on when it would be resolved.

The day after that, I called in again and the CS rep said that they were currently in my account, but still couldn't give me an ETA. The day after that, I heard nothing from them. And the day after that, still nothing.

Finally, on Friday, I called in again and the CS rep said that the developers had been in my account and that something was wrong with it. But still, no ETA. At this point, I was fed up and told her that I wanted to cancel and get a refund. She offered me 2 months of free service, which is only worth $24. Like, seriously?

It's now been 8 days since I first called in and no one has reached out to me, fixed the issue, or even communicated with me. This is by far the worst customer service I've had in years and it's really disappointing after all the hours I spent getting my site just the way I wanted it.

Weebly Weebly Upgrade Nightmare: Poor Customer Service and Frustration for Online Business Owners

I've been using Weebly for a while now, and I have to say, I was pretty happy with them. But then, last month, I decided to upgrade my account and things started to go downhill. I'm a Holistic Fitness + Wellness Coach, and I provide online services to my clients. I was hoping that the upgrade would make things easier for me, but it seems like it's only made things worse.

Their customer service used to be pretty good, but now it's just a nightmare. They claim that they've made it easier to get help, but I've found that it's actually more time-consuming than ever. I used to be able to call them up and speak to a human being, but now I have to jump through all sorts of hoops just to get someone on the phone.

Last Friday, May 28th, I had a particularly bad experience. I tried calling them several times, but I kept getting disconnected. I didn't accidentally hang up on them, either - I know that for a fact. I was on hold for 40 minutes a month ago, and I'm supposed to have 24/7 service, but it seems like they're not living up to that promise.

When I finally did get through to someone, they put me on hold again and then disconnected me. I had to call back and wait on hold all over again. When I finally did get through to someone, they didn't seem to be listening to me. They either didn't understand what I was saying, or they thought they knew what I wanted before I finished speaking. Either way, it was frustrating.

I messaged Weebly on Facebook and told them how stressed out I was and how much I wanted to speak to someone via video or phone chat. But they refused, saying that they didn't have the means to do that. I think they just didn't care enough to try to help me.

To make matters worse, I paid for an add-on a month ago that I don't know how to use, and no one at Weebly seems to want to help me figure it out. I feel like I'm paying for a service that's not providing for me, and I'm really frustrated.

I've decided that I want all my money back, going back at least a year. I'm going to take my business elsewhere, because Weebly has lost all credibility with me. I don't appreciate the way they're treating me, and I don't think anyone else should have to put up with it either.

Weebly Beware of Weebly: They Deleted My Website and Account Without Warning or Explanation!

I spent a lot of time creating a website on Weebly. It took me endless hours of developing, testing, and redoing to get it just right. When I finally had it ready, I was pleased with the outcome. However, I soon discovered that some of the text was invisible with Firefox, while it was okay with other browsers. I contacted the help desk, and they fixed the issue in no time.

But then, just two hours later, my site was deleted, and my Weebly account was terminated. I received no warning, no reason, no nothing. I sent them an email asking about the content that took me days to create, but I have yet to receive a response. It's frustrating how rude they can be. I don't know the reason for the termination. I didn't advertise the site; I was just developing it. It was sports-related information and consulting.

Be careful with Weebly. You can do tons of hard work, finally develop the product you like, and they can erase everything and throw you out with one click. And they won't give you an explanation. That's not how you do business; that's BS. Don't go anywhere near these fools! You'll get hurt!

I run a consultation service with monthly subscriptions, and they deleted my business, saying, "We do not allow MLM/Make Money style sites on our network." I thought you could create a small business website or store on Weebly. It turns out that this is not for any kind of business at all. As soon as you try to make money, they shut you down. To be precise, they accuse you of MLM, even if you're a mom-and-pop store selling cookies.

That's just horrible! You can create a small business website or e-store, pay them for it, but be aware that as soon as you try to make any money, they'll accuse you of running an MLM scam and shut you down!

So, people, keep that in mind before you even go close to these clowns!

Weebly Weebly Review: Easy to Use Website Builder with Customer Service Issues

I just gotta say, I had some doubts about Weebly too, but after using it for a while, I gotta say, it's pretty good. However, I do agree with some of the complaints I've seen about their customer service. I mean, come on Weebly, answer your customers!

I saw one person complaining about not getting a response to their pre-sign up questions. That's not cool. I mean, if someone is interested in using your service, you should at least answer their questions, right?

But let's talk about the actual website builder. Weebly is pretty easy to use, even for someone like me who isn't super tech-savvy. They have a lot of templates to choose from, so you can make your website look pretty good without having to do too much work.

One thing I really like about Weebly is that they have a free plan. Of course, there are some limitations, but if you're just starting out and don't have a lot of money to spend, it's a great option.

Now, I did have some trouble with the mobile version of my website. It didn't look quite right, and I had to spend some time tweaking it to get it to look the way I wanted. But overall, I'm pretty happy with Weebly.

Oh, and one more thing. Weebly, if you're reading this, please answer your customers' questions! It's not cool to leave them hanging like that.

Weebly Don't Work with Weebly: Frustrating Customer Service and Domain Transfer Issues

I've been using Weebly for quite some time now, maybe since 2015 or even earlier, and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with their platform. But as my business started to grow, I realized that I needed a website with more functionality. So, I spent hours creating product listings (or items, whatever you wanna call it) and tried to find workarounds for shipping functions that just weren't helpful or intuitive. I mean, I tried to make it work with Weebly (or Wobbly, as I like to call it), but it was clear that it wasn't the right platform for me. But hey, that's on me, right? I should've known better.

However, things started to get really frustrating when I tried to extricate my domain names from Weebly. It's become so impossible that I just wanna scream from the rooftops: DON'T WORK WITH WEEBLY! I mean, seriously, don't do it.

Recently, the nonprofit I work for hired a consultant to help us transition our site away from Weebly to Shopify. But we ran into some issues when we tried to transfer the domain. The advanced site plan automatically renewed, and we started communicating with Weebly about getting a refund. We're a nonprofit, every penny counts, you know? But it's been months since then, and I've spent hours trying to figure out why the transfer didn't go through. The customer service experience has been terrible. The random folks that show up on the chat know nothing and have no access to what's really going on. It's frustrating, especially since I'm a paying customer. And when I sent an agent a screenshot of a separate thread about the problem, she implied that I was trying to pull one over to get a refund that wasn't allowed. Like, seriously?

I've decided to move my personal site away from Weebly, and now that domain is also "stuck". All I'm getting from customer service is, "this is a known problem and we're sorry for the inconvenience". I believe that Wobbly is falling apart. PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES! Trust me, it's not worth it.

Weebly Weebly's New Policy on Domain Ownership: A Disappointing Change for Long-Time Users

I started using Weebly to build my website back in 2012, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the platform. It was easy to use, and best of all, it was free! I never had to upgrade to a paid plan because all the features I needed were available for free. That is, until today.

I was editing my site and went to publish it, but I got an error message saying that I couldn't because my site was using features that weren't on my free plan. I was confused because I hadn't changed anything or done anything different than I had been doing for the past 6 years. So, I did some digging and found out that the feature I was using was my own domain, which I had purchased from GoDaddy. Apparently, Weebly had changed their policy, and now I had to upgrade to a paid plan if I wanted to use my own domain.

I was pretty upset about this because I had been using my own domain for 6 years without any problems. And to make matters worse, Weebly had their "Get a Free Website by Weebly" motto at the bottom of every page of my site. I thought it was true because I had my own site and was very pleased with it. But now, I feel like they're just trying to milk money out of me.

I no longer recommend Weebly to anyone. If they're willing to change the rules on people who have been with them for years, they'll do it to anyone. And to add insult to injury, they told me that if I didn't upgrade to a paid plan, I wouldn't be able to call and speak to anyone for customer service help. That's not great customer service in my book.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Weebly. I thought they were a great platform, but now I feel like they're just trying to squeeze every penny out of their users. If you're thinking about using Weebly, I would advise you to beware. They might change the rules on you too.

Weebly Weebly Review: Horrible Products, Terrible Customer Service, and Outdated Code

I've been using Weebly for almost three years now and I have to say, it's been a bumpy ride. The site is riddled with bugs that they just won't fix, no matter how many times they're reported. And don't even get me started on their customer support service - it's like talking to a brick wall. They don't listen to a word you say and the longer you're with them, the worse it gets.

They claim to have a mobile conversion for their sites, but it's a complete joke. If you're planning on selling anything online, forget about it. Your customers won't be able to buy anything from you if they're using a phone or tablet. And their code is so outdated that it's not compatible with many operating systems. When you bring it to their attention, they just shrug and do nothing about it.

But that's not all. Weebly has had hacks in the past that they never told their customers about. And they've even pushed out code updates that completely messed up people's websites. And did they bother to tell anyone? Nope. They just left their customers to figure it out on their own.

And let's talk about their pricing. Sure, they might look cheaper on paper, but what you're actually getting is garbage. Even if you pay for their premium product, they'll still charge you for every new update that comes out. And when you compare them to other big commerce site builders, you're actually paying less for a better product elsewhere.

Getting a Weebly site is like buying a crappy app and finding out that you have to pay extra for every new feature that comes out. And their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. They don't care about their customers at all.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend Weebly to anyone. Their products are horrible, their customer service is terrible, and they just don't care about their customers. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

Weebly Frustrating and Unprofessional: My Experience with Weebly's Live Chat Support

I had a recent experience with Weebly that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had decided to transfer my website to another platform, but encountered some issues with the DNS records. I reached out to the Live Chat agents for assistance, but unfortunately they were not able to resolve the problem. In fact, they seemed confused and unprofessional, which only added to my frustration.

I had to have multiple chat sessions with different agents, and each time I had to explain my situation all over again. It was clear that they were not keeping records of our conversations, which made the process even more difficult. They claimed to be able to manually override the transfer of my domain, but failed to listen when I explained that I had already cancelled the transfer request with the new site. This made it impossible for them to complete the transfer, and I was left waiting for a resolution.

In total, it took over 10 days to try to get this issue resolved, when it should have been done in a matter of hours. I was eventually told that my case had been escalated to a senior technical person, but I was still left waiting for a resolution. I am planning to lodge a formal complaint with a manager, but I am not optimistic about the outcome.

One thing I would caution anyone considering Weebly is to keep an eye on your account and stop any recurring fees. I ended up paying fees for a service I was no longer using, due to a policy that allows Weebly to continue taking your money even if you are not using their service.

Overall, my experience with Weebly was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend their services to anyone, and I hope that others will see this review and avoid the hassle that I went through.

Weebly Weebly Review: Pros and Cons of the Website Builder for eCommerce and More

Weebly is a website builder that is just okay. It has some good things going for it, but it also has some major drawbacks. One of the biggest issues with Weebly is that it lacks in features. If you're looking for a website builder that has a lot of bells and whistles, then Weebly might not be the best choice for you.

One option for using Weebly is to sign up with BlueHost and use their version of the builder. However, this version is outdated and won't have the latest features that are available on weebly.com. If you want to take advantage of the newest features, then you should sign up directly with Weebly.

One of the benefits of using Weebly directly is that they take care of everything on the back-end. This means that you don't have to worry about server issues or other technical problems. All you have to do is focus on building your website and publishing it.

However, there are some downsides to using Weebly as well. For example, if you want to use a video background, it will only play on the desktop version of your site. The mobile version will have a static background. Additionally, Weebly doesn't allow video backgrounds to play audio. Parallax images also only work on the desktop version of your site.

If you're looking to use Weebly for eCommerce, then you might want to think twice. Weebly's eCommerce features are lacking, and there isn't a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizations. This could be a problem if you're trying to run an online store.

Another issue with Weebly is their support. The only support available is through their forum community, and there are only a few Weebly staff members who answer questions. This means that you might have to wait a while to get help if you run into any problems.

Finally, Weebly's pricing plans are expensive considering the lack of features. They don't offer basic HTTP security headers at the server level, and you have to pay for a third-party email service if you want to use email. Additionally, their plugins and add-ons are not very good, and troubleshooting console problems can be difficult.

Overall, Weebly is a decent website builder, but it has some major drawbacks that you should be aware of before you sign up. If you're looking for a website builder with a lot of features and flexibility, then you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you're just looking for a simple and easy-to-use website builder, then Weebly might be a good choice for you.

Weebly Weebly Review: Unreliable Editor, Poor Customer Service, and Account Termination

Weebly is a website builder that I recently tried out. I heard good things about it, so I decided to give it a go. At first, everything was going well, but then I encountered some issues with the editor. It broke itself, and I had no idea what to do.

I tried reaching out to customer service, but they were not very helpful. They told me that they do not support customized CSS, which was frustrating because I wanted to be able to customize my website to my liking. I had to resort to manual backup to avoid losing all my hard work.

One thing that really bothered me was that changes were irreversible, even if they had not been published yet. This made it difficult to make changes and experiment with different designs.

Recently, I found out that Weebly has been taken over by a new management team, and there have been some changes to their services. People have been complaining about the restrictions on free websites and the demands for payment to lift them.

I also had a recent experience where my account was simply banned without any reason. I had just renewed my subscription for another two years, and Weebly decided to screw me over. I requested some site assistance, and received an email response. However, I didn't realize that my account had been terminated without any warning or notification. It took me days to find out.

I tried calling their number, but it was ineffective because the "policy team" doesn't take calls and only responds via emails. After sending a separate email, the policy team responded with a cookie-cutter statement that my site(s) violated the TOS and the ban would not be lifted. I sent several emails demanding an explanation, but they just kept giving me the same response.

Overall, I would not recommend Weebly. If you're still using their service, I suggest moving your site elsewhere. I highly recommend Wordpress with the Elementor plugin. Don't be like me and lose all your hard work.

Weebly AVOID WEEBLY. IMMINENT LOSS OF YOUR DATA/ SITE!

EDITED REVIEW:
Mine is adjusted to reflect the latest changes. Pardon the caps in the title. I wish I could rate this company zero stars. File a credit card chargeback if you can.

Apparently I was recently made aware of company takeover, hence the change in the their managements and services. People complaining about Free websites further restricted in functionality and demands for payment to lift them.

However if you are still using their service, there's a chance your account would be SIMPLY BANNED WITHOUT reason. That recently happened to me, and this company shirks off responsibility. I just renewed my subscription for another 2 years earlier this year and Weebly decided to screw me over. Below is the chronicle of the incident:

1) Requested for some site assistance.
2) Received an email response on the matter. Didn't realize my account was suddenly terminated without any email warning/ notification on the same day/ the day after. Took me days later to find out.
3) Responded to the same email. Staff ceased communications with me.
4) Called their number. Ineffective, because the "policy team" doesn't take calls and they only respond via emails. You heard that right!
5) After sending a separate email, the policy team responded. Gave a cookie-cutter statement that my site(s) violated the TOS and the ban would not be lifted.
6) I sent several emails to them demanding an explanation (which sites and what terms were breached). The latest one elicited the same response. "Your sites have violated the TOS and we would not reinstate them."

Attached below is the email conversation. Let them speak for themselves.

As you can see, I was not informed that my sites were disabled and they simply did so and cut me off.

That's Weebly to you now. Messed up company.

If you're still using their service, move your site elsewhere (I highly recommend Wordpress + Elementor plugin). Don't be like me; all my hard work vanish just like that.

God knows what's going on in their minds!

FIRST REVIEW:
I migrated to Weebly from GoDaddy because of the good reviews. Initially everything went smoothly, until the editor broke itself.

Because the customer service reps do not support customized CSS (not all of us would want to stick to the preset templates), you're pretty much on your own. Whether an element deleted itself or the codes break, manual backup is the only way to avoid getting screwed. Because once that happens, there's no turning back.

Changes are irreversible and did I mention that they would stay even if they have not been published yet?

Weebly Disappointing Experience with Weebly: Shady Business and Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough time with Weebly. I mean, who even are these people? Apparently they merged with some other company called Square up, but now they just go by Square? That's just confusing, man. And don't even get me started on trying to get help from their customer service. I spent over two hours on the phone with four different people, and none of them seemed to have any idea what was going on. I was on hold for like, half an hour, and when I finally asked to speak to a manager, they told me I had to write a complaint instead. So here I am.

The thing that really got me was when they sold me a domain and promised me access to free templates, but then it turned out the templates were for some other company called Square. What kind of shady business is that? I asked to cancel everything, and they did, but now my customized domain still isn't available. They told me it would be released in 3-5 business days, but that was a lie. When I followed up, they told me I had to buy their plan and domain again for at least three months if I wanted to transfer the domain. Or I could just wait a whole year for it to become available again. Are you kidding me?

Honestly, it's not even about the money for me. It's just the principle of the thing. Weebly's business model is disgusting. They just want to sell you stuff and then leave you hanging with no support. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Weebly Weebly Review: Slow Loading Time and Missing Features Make for a Frustrating Experience

I recently tried out Weebly for my writing blog and I have to say, I was not impressed. There were a few things that really bothered me about the platform.

First of all, the loading time was painfully slow. It took ages just to get to the editor section, which was frustrating to say the least. And if you're using Safari, forget about it. You'll never even make it to editor mode.

Another issue I had with Weebly was the company's tendency to change features as they please. It's hard to keep up with what's available and what's not. And even worse, there are some features that should have existed a decade ago that are still missing. For example, there's no option to post images side by side, which is a huge inconvenience for anyone with more than a few photos per post. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be for someone with a photography blog.

Overall, my experience with Weebly was pretty awful. I've only used it for less than a week and I'm already looking for alternatives. It's frustrating to spend a whole day formatting a post and still not be happy with the end result.

I was surprised to see so many positive reviews of Weebly online. It just goes to show how unreliable online reviews can be. Weebly may advertise itself as the easiest website platform to use, but in reality, it's far from easy. If you're looking for a more transparent and straightforward option, I'd recommend going with Wordpress instead. It may not be easy to use, but at least you know what you're getting into and can put in the effort to make it work. With Weebly, you're just asking for frustration.

Weebly Weebly's Lack of Support Cost Me My Domain and Business Mail - A Frustrating Experience

I used to have a Weebly site and it was pretty good. I connected it to my Google Workspace account and it worked fine for a while. But then a few months ago, I decided to switch to Bluehost and pointed my domain from Weebly to Bluehost. But even though my domain was pointed to my new Bluehost site, Bluehost and Register.com still said that my domain and mail were registered at Weebly. This meant that I had to do my billing through Weebly.

The problem was that Weebly didn't list my domain or my Gmail account on my account page. This made it impossible for me to renew my domain and website or obtain the EPP code to transfer the registration to Bluehost. I looked for articles on their website about this issue, but I couldn't find anything. I sent several emails to customer service, but I never got a response. There was no live chat, and since I live outside the US, I couldn't even call them.

I got zero support from Weebly, which was really frustrating. My site went down and my business mail stopped working. This was really bad for my business. Even now that my domain has expired, I can't use it with another hosting service because it's apparently still registered at Weebly. This means that I have to buy a new domain and get a new business mail, which is really unprofessional.

I wish a real human had responded to my issue because I'm sure it would have been solvable and all these problems could have been avoided. But that didn't seem to be possible with Weebly. It's really disappointing that they didn't provide any support, especially since I was a paying customer. I wouldn't recommend Weebly to anyone who needs reliable support.

Weebly Weebly Review: Not Worth the Frustration for SEO, Page Loads, and Support

I've been using Weebly for a long time, like 7 years, and I gotta say, I'm not too happy about it. I mean, I got hundreds of pages to transfer to a different system, but I just can't be bothered, you know? But if you're just starting out, don't even think about using Weebly. Trust me, it's not worth it.

First of all, if you run your Weebly website through an SEO checker, you'll see red everywhere. It's like a Christmas tree, but instead of presents, you get bad SEO. And then there are all these duplicate pages because of the way they create category URLs for the blog. Google hates these duplicates, man. It's like they're trying to sabotage your website.

And don't even get me started on page loads. They're slow as molasses. Why? Because there's no image optimiser. It's like they don't even care about your website's performance. And the worst part is, when you post to social media, the image that gets picked up is often something from the overall page template, not the one you attached to your post. It's like they're playing a cruel joke on you.

These little issues just keep piling up, year after year, and they never get resolved. Just check out their forum and you'll see all the comments asking why things haven't been fixed for years. It's like they're ignoring their users.

And if you're working with other products, like landing page builders or email systems, good luck finding integration with Weebly. It's extremely rare. That means you're often stuck with having to pay for Zapier or some other integration tool just to get your data flowing.

But the worst part of all is trying to get help from their "Support" team. It's like trying to talk to a brick wall. Most of the time, they don't even answer. And when they do, it's worse than not getting an answer at all. It's like they're actively trying to make things worse.

So yeah, Weebly is a total mess. But if you're already using it, just put up with it until you can muster the energy to transfer to a different system. Trust me, it's not worth the frustration.

Weebly Frustrated with Weebly's Inventory Management: My Experience

I gotta say, Weebly is really getting on my nerves. I mean, I'm not a computer dummy or anything, but this website is just not working for me. I use it to manage my inventory with Square, but almost half of my items just won't save the edits I make. And it's not like there's any pattern to it - sometimes it'll save the categories but not the title or SKU, or it'll say it's saved but the changes just don't show up on my online shop. So then I have to go back in and redo everything, which is a total waste of time. And it's not like I can just ignore it, because if I don't catch the mistakes then my customers won't be able to find what they're looking for.

I've been at this for hours and I'm just so over it. I don't know what to do, because I can't keep wasting my time like this. I might have to switch to a different service altogether, which is a huge pain. It's just frustrating because I know what I'm doing, but this website is making it impossible to get anything done.

Weebly Weebly's Website Builder: Clunky and Hard to Use

I gotta say, I've been using Weebly for a couple of years now and it's been pretty good to me. I mean, I started with a free site and it's still up and running, so that's a win in my book. But I recently tried to start another site and I gotta say, their site builder is a bit of a mess. It's clunky and hard to use, which is a bummer because I'm still on the hunt for a hosting company that can give me a clean, well-organized, and straight-forward website builder. Seems like that's a pretty rare find these days.

I know Wordpress is the go-to for a lot of people when it comes to making and maintaining a site, but let's be real, the learning curve is steep and I'm not exactly a tech genius. Weebly has a lot of options for a free site, but their drag and drop builder doesn't really let you do much. I tried to upload some photos, but it didn't want to accept them because I run a linux os and I'm assuming my photos, even though they're from smart phones, don't conform to the Weebly software. I don't remember having that problem before when I set up my previous site, so that's a bit frustrating.

And don't even get me started on resizing things on a new page. It's impossible. And their text editor only gives you the most basic options. If you're just putting up some "brochure-ware" on their free site, it's probably adequate. But if you're looking for more than that, don't expect much.

I'm not sure how easy it is to do e-commerce or to move or upgrade your website on Weebly, but even the simplest things feel difficult to me. And I don't think it has to be that way. Maybe I'm just not very adept at this stuff, but I'm just not very impressed with their website builder.

Weebly Weebly's Customer Service is a Frustrating Barrier - A Review

I've been using Weebly for a long time now, and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with their customer service. I used to use Homestead, but their customer service went missing, so I switched to Weebly. But now, Weebly has created a barrier that's really frustrating. They won't let me reach them without a pin number, which I've never been given. And they don't tell you how to get it, even though I'm a Pro level customer. It's really annoying.

There's no default way to contact them, except to email or create a help support ticket. But neither of those features work very well. The email just sends you to a bunch of information, and it doesn't really help. And when you click "Yes" to say that it helped, you can't actually file a support ticket. It's a mess.

If I could pull my website from Weebly today, I would. I tried to purchase two domains through them over the weekend, but there was a glitch and they lost my business to GoDaddy. And I had a client who was going to use Weebly for a new site, but I can't recommend them anymore.

I hope Weebly's greed continues to cost them business. They're a website building platform, for crying out loud. Why can't they create a streamlined, accurate, and responsive customer service protocol? It's not rocket science.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. How many customer service reps did they let go? Who knows. But I can't imagine I'm the only one experiencing these issues. Weebly needs to step up their game if they want to keep their customers.

Weebly Weebly's Lack of Customer Support and Technical Know-How: A Nightmare Experience

I don't usually write reviews, but I gotta say, Weebly has been a real pain in my butt lately. As someone who knows their way around a computer, I can tell you that Weebly has really dropped the ball.

I've got a domain with Weebly that I wanted to move over to Hostinger, a more reliable hosting service. But Weebly's interface is so messed up that I can't even unlock my domain. And to make matters worse, they don't have a live chat option, so I'm stuck waiting for their slow email support to get back to me. It took them a whole week to respond to my first email, and then another week to reply to my response. And they didn't even fix the problem!

So I asked them to contact the registry to unlock the domain, since Hostinger's support team confirmed that it was still locked. But did Weebly reply? Nope. I've sent them two more emails over the past month, but I haven't heard a peep from them.

This whole mess has really hurt my brother's business, which relies on that domain. He's been without a website for two months now, all because of Weebly's lack of customer support and technical know-how.

In short, my experience with Weebly has been a total nightmare. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. If you're looking for a hosting service that's reliable and responsive, you're better off looking elsewhere. Weebly has been a huge headache that's just not worth the hassle.

Weebly Weebly's Visitor Issues: A Frustrating Experience

Weebly, A Lot of Issues

I've been using Weebly since 2014 and I have to say, I'm not impressed. Recently, I found out that most of the visitors to my website were bots. I've been paying Weebly for years and now they're telling me that the people who visited my site were fake. It's frustrating because some of these bots even commented on my Facebook page, pretending to be real people.

I've filed a complaint with Weebly, but I'm not holding my breath for a response. They claim that the new numbers are coming from Google Analytics, but I'm not sure I trust that either. It seems like they just make up numbers and decide how many people are actually looking at your site.

One of the reasons my numbers have dropped is because unless someone goes searching for my website online, it's considered a bot. This means that if I post my site somewhere else and someone clicks on it, it's still considered a bot. Anthony tried to explain it to me, but I'm still confused.

To test this theory, I'm running an experiment. I'm asking my friends to click on something I posted earlier today and then come back and hit "like." I want to see if it makes a difference in my numbers.

Overall, I'm disappointed with Weebly. It's not user-friendly and it's hard to get real visitors to my site. If anyone wants to help me out with my experiment, feel free to check out my public Facebook page. Thanks.

Weebly Square's Takeover Ruined Weebly: Nightmare Customer Service & Account Issues

Weebly used to be a great platform for me for the past 10 years, but ever since Square took over, it's been a nightmare. I could tell that it was going to be bad news when Square came into the picture. They're ruining everything. I'm being forced to leave the platform because of error codes that won't let me set up emails, and my website is going to be removed in just 28 days because Square is refusing to let people sign up. Even though I have a Pro Account and paid for the year, they're still kicking me off. They made sure to take my payment before telling me that I'm getting the boot.

When Square first started, they were unsecured and had a ton of hackers getting into people's accounts, including mine. Since so many hair stylists were using Square, they became popular, but the company is still no better than it was before. They have zero customer service. The guy who responded to my emails took 2 months to get back to me - 2 months! What kind of customer service takes that long to respond to a hacking issue? Meanwhile, my account was hacked and they were saying that I owed tons of money from other countries, even though my sales were in person, not online.

Because this guy wasn't addressing my issue and blew me off, they have a record that I was contacted by him and didn't respond, so now I'm banned from Square? They wouldn't even let me shut down my Square account that had my bank account number in it! This company is a joke and has ruined Weebly. Are they going to refund me the amount I paid a designer or the yearly fee I paid? I highly doubt it. Not to mention the time and effort it's going to take to transfer everything somewhere else.

Overall, I would not recommend Weebly anymore because of Square's involvement. They've ruined everything and have terrible customer service. It's not worth the hassle.

Weebly Legislation needed to prevent companies like weebly from harming more businesses.

MAY 2, 2023 WEEBLY REVIEW

Weebly is the worst company. We have been dealing with this since November 2022, and it is now May 2023. The Attorney General is also involved because the crime is so outrageous. We properly and correctly disputed our Nonprofit business plan bill. Instead of fixing the issue of them not applying the nonprofit and tax-exempt status they approved previously that year, they shut us down along with our 6 other websites that had nothing to do with the disputed bill.

We finally got them to turn all the sites back on but... they deleted the bi-annual (every 2 years) subscriptions for 3 of them. Two of those sites are still paid through 2024 and there has been no refund.

But the worst is the destruction of our Nonprofit website that has been around for decades. Not only did they shut it down, and deleted the subscription but they allowed it to get hacked. Attacked so badly, that we cannot even publish the site because it will hack anyone who goes to it.

In fact, this problem has escalated to our domains and their emails being constantly blacklisted for no reason except that someone or something keeps trying to sign into our emails and domains. And this causes a red black that gets you blacklisted. Weebly denies all of this. This is NOT OKAY!

We have provided endless evidence to support our side of things. Evidence that came straight from their site and emails to us. Evidence that proves Weebly retaliated against us for disputing our bill. We properly and correctly disputed this bill by first trying to call them and discuss the matter for 3 weeks. This was an epic fail. Once the AMX bill came in, they advised that I dispute the bill as I have solid evidence that I was being overcharged.

But wait for it. Weebly's legal department told the AG that they needed an extension of time to investigate. They looked at absolutely nothing and instead told us we had to start a new subscription, with a new price, for the nonprofit and told us we had to pay for a new subscription for the other two sites, even though they are good until 2024. Where is the refund for my subscription they cancelled and are making us re-buy? By the way, if they really had investigated, they would have found their own bill on their own site under payments showing that the sites were paid for. And they would have seen that every year, we have had nonprofit status and that for the year 2022, we applied and were granted by them, nonprofit status.

Clearly, they did not bother to look at the evidence. Clearly, they think they are above the law. And clearly this is a terrorist act of retaliation for disputing a bill correctly. Clearly, this is a scam company. Clearly, they think we are just going to sit back and let this happen.

WE NEED LEGISLATION TO PROTECT CONSUMERS FROM COMPANIES THAT STEAL OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY BY SHUTTING THEIR SERVICES TO US DOWN FALSELY. WE HAVE A RIGHT AS CONSUMERS TO DISPUTE A BILL WITHOUT HAVING OUR SERVICES SHUT OFF. IF THIS WAS A UTILITY COMPANY, THEY WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO THIS. THE SAME SHOULD APPLY FOR THESE MERCHANTS AS THIS ACT DESTROYS BUSINESSES.

Desired outcome: Accounts re-instated to pre-December 2, 2022 status. Nonprofit site hack fixed. Domains and emails damages. Lost time, revenue, members, hours, ADA Violations & Emotional Damages.

Weebly Falsely shutting us down for correctly disputing a charge

On December 2, 2022, Weebly over-charged our AMX. When I called to get an explanation of why our bill had nearly doubled, they refused to provide the information or a detailed bill. On December 27, 2022, after trying for 3 weeks to get assistance and a proper bill, AMX told me to dispute it. Instead of providing the request explanation and response, Weebly shutdown all of our sites despite the bill pertaining to only our 501c3 Nonprofit. In fact, it turns out that we were right to dispute the bill as they failed to apply our Nonprofit Tax Exempt status makes us tax exempt from certain taxes and never applied the 33% off they give to nonprofits. Weebly Senior Customer Service Rep, even admitted this in a phone call and email. He told us that he had to return all monies paid so he could issue a new corrected bill. This has not been done.

While we got all of the other sites back up, the nonprofit still remains shutdown and damaged. Because of the shutdown, they left our account open and vulnerable to attack. Many of our clients who rely on our 911 Emergency Services have now had their computer hacked because they went out to our site.

We have tried to communicate with Weebly as has AMX, the AG, BBB and FTC/FCC. The damages to not only the nonprofit but the survivors of abuse that we serve is unimaginable. These people were already depressed and stressed, now having to add a hacking of their internet and computer.

Desired outcome: Weebly needs to fix our website and rid it of the viruses and hack, so we can safely republish our site. We want monetary compensation for the damages that will take years to fix including our reputation for our site.

Weebly Weebly

I have contacted Weebly numerous times over the past 10 months for a recurring problem that they are never resolving. Their system keeps charging shipping wrong (either not charging it when it should, or charging it when it shouldn't). I have tried to resolve this repeatedly via their customer service, which never goes anywhere. I have asked to speak to managers, which also never goes anywhere. I am on a paid plan with Weebly. There are also other bugs in their system, such as charging sales tax when it shouldn't.

Desired outcome: Solve the bug that charges shipping and/or tax wrong.

Weebly Website & domain

Website - on 3/29/2021 I purchased a domain name & began to build a website. I put in the domain name and was directed to purchase the domain name again. I followed the instructions the first time. Was sent an email. Verified it. The second day went through the same steps. Next, was asked online sales info. I don't sell a product. I sell a service. Choose website only. Then was given the option to purchase the domain name again.
I reached out for help on 3/29/2021 & 3/30 & 4/1.
No response. I was send an email to verify my email.
Seriously Unhappy.
I expect Weebly & Square to do what they say they do.

Desired outcome: Provide Website, customer support & Domain name I paid for
