Jumbo Electronics Service Man (Mark - Jumbo, Sahara Mall, Sharjah) - instead of service talking about the sales

Today (17th March 2023) I called your service centre in Jumbo Electronics for a repair of Boss Earbuds, a person called Mark instead of understanding the issue and helping us on repairing the item, he directly went ahead with trading of Boss Earbuds with the new item, and also offered me 30% discount on the Boss Earbuds which I called to repair.

Very Upset that Jumbo is in the list of servicing on all the major brands of repairing and only talking about the sales rather than helping on servicing the product.

This shows the narrowness of the institution and the people who are stressed with sales and no services.

Jumbo Electronics Regarding to get back my old laptop

Please be informed that on 20th Aug I visited Jumbo store branch near Sharaf DG metro to buy new laptop, as there was offer I didn’t visit any other electronic stores. And that offer was give old laptop and get AED 300 discount on buying any new laptop. So based on that, one of your sales person took my old laptop to check whether I am eligible to avail that offer or not. However, after checking he said I can get AED 20+300 upon buying new laptop. Later I, went to billing counter and that time they said one model in HP was not available in Stock. They said you can come and make the payment next day, so they can get back stock.

2nd day, which was 21st Aug, they called me and forced me to buy on the very same day to avail this offer, if I fail to buy then I cannot get the same offer later. Though, the offer was valid till 31st Aug 2022. Unfortunately, I was not keeping well and went on Friday to collect me old laptop keeping in mind that offer is not valid. After asking for my old laptop, your employees are saying that we do not have your old laptop. Without my permission they sent it somewhere. No idea where.

My request and complain to Jumbo is to help me get my old laptop back. Also, I would ask to look into to the matter of misguiding and forcing customers with wrong offers or validity. I stay far from your store and already visited your store twice to get my old laptop. Nobody from your store was bothered to raise my issue. Even the store manager ignored it. Is this your service?

Also, find attached AED 20 receipt which I received without even paying and confirming to me.

Desired outcome: My request and complain to Jumbo is to help me get my old laptop back.

Jumbo Electronics Vey bad online service

i have very bad experience with jumbo electronics i was placed a order in online as based on their delivery date is on next day but every day when i call them they are saying same dialog " it will forward to delivery team and will be delivered today" but since 9th day i don't receive the product. So kindly think before order any items through jumbo online.

Jumbo Electronics Jumbo is Bad in Exchange Service

Jumbo has very bad service in return or exchange..

I have received a gift from my brother in law .. A PC type LG Gram (new model).. Which I opened but did not use till today. I found the PC not comfortable to me and wanted to do an exchange.. I was told by Jumbo representative (John) in Zahya Sharjah mall that you will give only Dh 1300 for a new PC that sold at Dh 6999.. ?

This is not logical and defies any company exchange policy.

Jumbo Electronics Crossword

My lady and I I've been playing your crossword puzzle for three maybe four years now however in the last four to six months the odds on this game seemed to have changed from what they used to be I'm sure you have to do that from time to time in order to make some profit or lose some profit which sometimes would be the case in your unique situation we are not the type of people to go around kicking our heels up and complaining. but we are about positive we should have hit some bigger numbers than what we've been getting here lately. Now we enjoy your games immensely and spend a very large portion of our checks every week on them but this seems to be leaving a bad taste in our mouths and we have been considering possibly taking our money somewhere else and having fun with it in another way because we are feeling very ripped off as well as taking advantage of.

Desired outcome: $ kinda wish i could get a refund for some of that.didnt feel right

Jumbo Electronics Dyson delivery

I have purchased a Dyson corrale last Feb 6, it's a complimentary gift edition which includes a paddle and detangling brush. But after a few days they called me informing me that the there's no stocks available for the gift edition which makes me disappointed, why on earth they are advertising it in the website when there's no sure stocks.
Instead of cancelling i have agreed to replace it with a Purple color w/o the freebies, which they have confirmed that will be delivered 2 to 3 days after they have confirmed the stocks with their warehouse.
Then, i have called again after 3 days and now they are saying that there's system issue that preventing them to delivered the stocks or they dont have stocks at all. which frustrates me again and again. Why on JUMBO website -you can still order the items when in fact there's no stocks?

Desired outcome: I want them to deliver the items as early as possible!

Jumbo Electronics Sony sound bar sony – htx-9000f not working

Sorry to say, One month is over after purchased the Sony sound bar but still you are not able to solve the problem. What is meaning of warranty? Unit is not performing as stated since purchased.

You have broken trust on SONY / EMAX as well Sony / EMAX service.

Kindly explain what is you are going to do with unit? (SONY sound Bar HTX 9000F)

Invoice and both the service receipt attached for your reference.

Why you are not replace the unit, I have complaint since purchased the unit? This is call defective unit.

Jumbo Electronics LCD replacement

Please see below the email I sent to Jumbo, which explains the situation.

To whom it regards,

I am writing to complain about the customer service and product I have received.

I visited your Mall of Emirates branch as my LCD was broken on my iPhone I paid over 1000AED and they fixed it on site, and was assured the phone would be working fine and I had a one year warranty.

Less than two days later the LCD was again not working, the screen consistently went black and certain touch points of the phone were not working, I took it back to the Mall of Emirates and they tried to fix it again, yet another couple of days later the same problem happened. I called had MOE multiple times but was just being told user busy or given another number which has no direction at all. To my frustration I went to Mall of Emirates again, to be told they don't have the product and to wait for them to get the product in and I would be called after a couple of days. A week later and still no phone call, and unsuccessful attempts to be able top get hold of the store I went to Mall of Emirates yet again and was told there was no technician and they can't give me any help and they would pass on the information to call me after a few days. AGAIN NO PHONE CALL. I called other branches to see if they could fix my phone (stores that actually answer their telephone) and was told that they couldn't fix the phone as it needed to be done by Mall of Emirates as it would be listed as an incomplete job.

SO YET AGAIN I GO TO MALL OF EMIRATES, only to be told they STILL don't have the product but they can make for me an appointment and their main service point. They have made an appointment for 10am the next day but when I arrived they said they didn't have any appointment and there was no technician, after arguing with them that it was there own Mall of Emirates branch that made the appointment, amazingly a technician appeared.

They "fixed" the phone, yet again a few days after the so called repair the screen was lifting up from the main back of the phone, I tried to call Jumbo but suprise surprise NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE, this phone is my work phone which is why I went through the effort of fixing rather than buying a new phone, yet I do not have all the time in the world to go back to Jumbo MULTIPLE times for a job that should have been completed the first time.

I have a one year warranty so I thought to myself I need the phone now I don't have time to keep going back and fourth to you so I would wait for the phone to fully break again as proven with your service would be enviable, but the phone screen was separating more from the back so I was already going to complain for a part refund for the amount of times I have had to come back because of an incomplete job.

Unfortantly when placing my phone down on the side the phone DUE TO THE SCREEN NOT BEING PLACED IN THE PHONE PROPERLY (and I have spoke to multiple technicians who have told me this is what has happened or you have provided me a faulty product) the screen has now one single crack which would be ok but because of the poor application the WHOLE FRONT OF THE PHONE SEPARATED FROM THE BACK. Even if there was to be a crack on the screen this does not result in the phone screen separating from the phone itself! Especially one single crack with no other phone damage its impossible, and even so the crack only happened because the phone was lifted and not actually in the phone, I could push the screen and it would move down like it was a button.

After taking the phone back again I was told they could do nothing as there was a crack but I explained that the crack only happened because the phone was already faulty, even though the technician even agreed the phone was not fixed properly as the screen would not come off just from one crack. I complained and they raised a complaint and again after getting told I would hear back in a day, I was called multiple days later still with the answer they are not doing anything., so I complained to another manager who said that they won't do anything because the phone was quality checked at it was fine, so I asked what about all the other times I have had to bring it back, was they not quality checked? And also why give warranty, if you will argue it was quality checked? I was also told I left it 20 days before complaining and its a long time,. I HAVE ONE YEAR WARRANTY I CAN COMPLAIN AT ANY TIME, and also after all of my efforts going back and fourth, with my phone calls never being answered or returned I am not going running to the store every time there was a problem otherwise it seems I would have been there everyday, I only come when the phone is unusable as I do not have all the free time in the world to fix a phone that should have just been fixed on the first time.

I have called multiple technicians and they have confirmed the phone was either not fixed properly OR you have provided me with a second grade product which is illegal by consumer rights. This has been an ongoing situation since April 27th and I have had enough of going back and fourth, I either want my phone actually fixed or a REFUND of my original receipt, What I won't be able to get back is all the time and money I have spent trying to fix this problem from day one, the work I have missed due to not having this phone and the stress this has given me.

I am appalled at the service I have been provided, the customer care I have received or more should I say, have not received. I want to hear somebody from a higher management to resolve this situation.

Jumbo Electronics Return policy

The store manager forced me to pay 250dhs to accept the return! Really, who does this?
The product was not compatible with any other sound system, so I sadly had to return it. I brought it back to the store the next day, perfectly packed in its original package, not a single mark even on the external cardbox.
I am so shocked. I never imagined this could happen. Unbelievable behavior to take money from me. Short term gain that will very quickly destroy this retailer's brand. Now customers will know where not to go shopping.
Wonder why we all move to Amazon? Just look at their customer service vs. how Jumbo treated me.

Jumbo Electronics Product name Motiv Ring

Hello,
I purchased this ring product from Jumbo Dubai Mall. I asked the person to show how it works but he said only possible after purchase. I did that. When I went to him again he just refused saying it's very easy to connect and you can do it at home by yourself. I was in a rush so I left. And it was a nightmare to connect with any of the phones we had at home. Be it Samsung/ I-PHONE 10 or 11.
I had to take trouble to go to the shop again where they were also unable to connect. The product was sent for repair. I got a call after a week to collect the product as it has been replaced as repair was not possible. To my horror it was again "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE " . I had to visit the store again and I was promised for a fair deal.
I got a call from Jumbo that the product is not compatible with any phone and you will be given a credit note instead.
My concern is why should I accept money in that form where there is no fault of mine. I paid hard earned cash on that product and it's the company's responsibility to refund when the product sold is of not good quality. You cannot sell and bad product on hard cash and give a credit note in return.
Awaiting for a fair response.

Jumbo Electronics service complaint

I am situated in Dubai, UAE. Isubmitted a oneplus phone for a screen repair for the quoted and agreed price was AED 700. It was comminicated from one of Jumbo's officials over a phone call. On completion of very delayed service, lack of coordination between their departments and numerous follow ups, they asked for AED 800 when I went to the store to pick it up.
Then I asked them to file the discrepency and resolve the issue.

It has been one week since then, and i did not get followed up. One of the company's official promised to call me back on saturday, today is Tuesday and no one contacted me.

I am having a terrible experience with your service and would definitely avoid using it in future.

I want to get my issue resolved as soon as possible.

Jumbo Electronics new laptop

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you I have purchased a brand new HP laptop dtd on 28th November from Jumbo electronics shop located at Al Fahidi.

While I have purchased the laptop I have ask the Sales team to check the complete functionality of Laptop the time was approximate 8:30 PM. But Jumbo staff were not ready to do anything simply they need to sell their product.Once I have made the payment the staff Kiran was asking extra money to check the laptop.

Within few hours the laptop has stop it's functionalities. Next day morning i have visited the shop again and i have asked the team to resolved the Problem they were telling me to send the laptop to the service center. Like your product is not working next 1 2 hrs only.and what I have to answer my company that product we have bought is not working. My job is at high risk, who will take responsibility for this incident happen to me. and direct indirect this kind of behavior will spoil and damage the Jumbo Brand name.

Could you please tell us why we have to buy the product from Jumbo while we are not getting any respond from the Team. Simply they are insulting the customer.

if the behavior of the team and the manager in this company Mr. Dharmesh, I am referring to the constant discrediting, use of abusive language and intimidation that I have been experiencing from both Kiran and Dharmesh especially on 28/11/19

I would like to know the root cause of this incident. why jumbo sold me a faulty laptop ? If board member need the evidence I Can provide the same.

Jumbo Electronics cheating

Hi,

I am farhan from dubai. The month of june i bought Iphone XS 256 gb from sharjah city center. And i claim the VAT return policy with my friend passport copy(he was in visit visa ) .When he traveling he submit the invoice and all .Airport authority said in their system not showing passport details and all.

Last week i went to sharjah city center and spoke with Customer service executive Mr.Jhon . i give all the details to him . He said he will speak with manager . manager was not there on that time. After the discusin jhon called and said manager will not do anything.

Actually this mistake happen from your company side and why i am loosing my money .

please take the action ASAP, otherwise i will go with legal department.

Jumbo Electronics bat rating

I have left my device in MCC franchise on 21st April and today is 9th, it's been 12 days I still did not get my mobile back.
every time I call and visit the franchise I get the same answer your device is under maintenance, seriously such disturbing customer service.
If you are unable to fix the device, give me a new one as per your insurance promises, the difference can be paid.
I swear if I don't get a proper answer by today I will go to the police, I was promised 10-15 working days for my device to be fixed.

Jumbo Electronics lenovo yoga 530

Self purchased Lenovo yoga 530 from jumbo electronic, hamdan street, Abu Dhabi branch on 22 April 2019, which was informed that the laptop storage capacity is 1TB HDD + 256 GB SSD. Please note that the laptop is a display piece and it was purchased by me in box open condition.
Once the laptop brought home and on checking the storage capacity, it came to know that the storage capacity is only 256 GB SSD which will not meet my requirements.
The same was returned to store within 3 days from purchase and complaint was registered in email as well as many calls were made, still no proper response.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is Praveen kumar I bought my lenovo laptop in your company few years back you can refer it thru this no ([protected]) and I have given it for servicing in your Jumbo Electronics located in Bur Dubai on 27.02.19 (Wednesday) and its Ref no:"373702" I was informed that I would get a call once when the technician takes it over, its been 3 working days and I am trying to reach your service center "N" number of times this phone no:[protected] that they gave me but not even a single time they picked up the call. Today I have registered in your site for queries and only after that I got a call from your side I have clearly stated to your customer executive that I need not require to repair my laptop and I will collect it by today (04.03.19) eve after 6 p. m and your executive agreed that you can collect it at any time by today. I went to your service center in Bur Dubai to collect it but your executives did not deliver me my laptop stating that its not yet received I have traveled a long long way to collect it at least I should have been informed about the delay of delivering I did not get any information not even a single call from your side regarding the delay and your executives are very lethogic in answering my questions. The main reason for this miscommunication is that no one is picking up the call in the service center area and no one is ready to update the status of the item."I need it to take this issue into a serious account and clarify it to avoid it in future" and make sure the date when can I get my unserviced laptop back.

Jumbo Electronics online sales and delivery service

We purchased a TV online, specifically for the reason that they advertise next day delivery, as this suits us both due to schedules etc.

After at least 5 phone calls to them on the next day, as well as emails etc. we were told they can not do the delivery, perhaps only in a day or two..

So how do you advertise next working day delivery, then we buy according to that specific point, then suddenly change it?

This is the worst service we had in a long time, if at all possible, I would have cancelled this order and shopped somewhere else as these guys are amateurs, and very unprofessional.

Jumbo Electronics bad consumer service

My PS3 broke with my blue ray inside the console, i took it to Jumbo electronics for repair. I received a replacement ps3 unit instead, which was ok with me. My blue ray that was stuck inside my old unit would be returned to me after 45-60 days.That was exactly 4 months and 13 days ago. I have been to Jumbo electronics MOE a few time already, i have also called allot of times to follow up. I have been promised by the staff working at the service department Jumbo Electronics MOE on more than one occasion they'll get back to me, they never did. I received my first feedback 2 weeks ago with no apology or explanation as to why i'm waiting so long. They just said they contacted Sony with regards to my missing blue ray and i have to wait about 90 days more.

As a customer its not my concern as to who to blame for my property taking so long to get back to me, Sony or Jumbocorp. What i do feel is that because i went to Jumbo they should be responsible to get back to me with updates on a timely manner.I think because its just a bluray disc to them its of no importance to them.

I just want the public to be ware of the possible service to expect if they have any problems with their products.

Jumbo Electronics defective laptop sold by jumbo

Reference to the above subject, I would like to mention , I had purchased a Lap Top HP Pavillion ZD8252EA Serial NO: EH692EA#ABV from Jumbo Electronics , Bur Dubai Showroom vide Cash Memo No. RI 305613 dt: 15.09.2005 .

First of all while buying I was told that it has International Warranty but it didn't.Since I stay in Mumbai (INDIA) specifically asked on international warranty to which the Salesman accepted , The most attractive feature of this laptop was it was 1 gb Ram (512 x 2 ), P IV , 17" wide screen and fully loaded.

When I came back to Mumbai, the RAM Memory Card 512x2 were not working together. This fact was revealed to Jumbo's Service Center during my next visit in February 2005. But the Service Person asked me to keep the Lap Top for atleast 4 to 5 days for testing purpose and replacing the parts if required which was not possible for me to do so as I was just about to leave within a day or two.

During my next visit in June I gave the Lap Top at Service Center at Rashidya on 30th of June 2006 for test and they replaced one faulty memory card of 512 Mb Chip, I collected the Lap Top on the day of my departure on 7th of July 2006 and found that the same problem is coming up. I think there is some other problem which is conflicting with the Mother Board. The Lap Top is working well with the single 512 RAM but not with both Rams.

Then the Warranty got expire on 15th of September 2006 and due to this I request jumbo to extend warranty for further 6 months, so that in my next visit I can give my Lap Top again for test purpose.

Again I gave my laptop for rectification on 18th feb 2007 at Rashidya & they replaced the chip again and was kept on test with them for 5 days , but after I came back to Mumbai again the same problem started in less than 20 days of replacement of chip to which i complained again to the head Customer service about the defective piece they had sold to me , and they are now asking extra cost to replace the chip or whatever parts needed for troublefree working of my laptop.

I SHALL BE HAPPY IF SOMEONE GUIDES ME TO LODGE THIS COMPLAINT TO CORRECT AUTHORITIES TO GET JUSTICE AND EVEN HP CAN KNOW HOW THEIR DEALERS ARE PROVIDING SERVICES TO THEIR VALUED CUSTOMERS.

NEVER BUY ANY HP PRODUCT. HP never stands behind its products or admits to its technical flaws!

I'm also having problems with my dv9223ts laptop purchased for Rs.94, ooo/- after 18months of purchase. Got to buy a new one...IBM is my next choice.
