John Lewis service failure degenerates into something very ugly indeed I ordered delivery of a product pre-10.30 am the following day. The next day, 10.30 am rolled around without delivery of my order. The website says one only needs to order by 7pm the previous evening for this service. I called John Lewis and spoke to Natalie. I ordered and paid for delivery for pre 10.30am. This is because I needed it pre-10.30 in order to go out to an appointment. Also, I had especially booked time off work. By 10.24 there was no sign of a delivery, so I called JL at 10.24. Having been kept on hold for ages, I said I needed to leave the house 10.30 sharp, so wanted my money back since JL had not honoured our contract.
