I bought a dinner at the ingles on Charlotte Highway in Asheville NC. There was a bug in the mashed potatoes. I contacted Ingles complaint department and haven't heard back. see pictures. Why do you keep emailing me that you need more information? Again another email wanting more information. I don't know what more information you could possible need. i sent the receipt. pictures of the bug in the food. what more could you possibly need?

Your Ingles store in Washington Georgia is the worst grocery store I have ever been in. The people there are not friendly and that usually means they are not happy with management. The shelfs are empty all the time it would be easier for me to list what they have then what they are out of. They are the only grocery store we have in town now and there prices are high.

I was Ingles in Statesville n.c. on Sullivan fd. I had just purchased food at deli and had eaten in food court I walk to women's restroom and was followed by a transgender employee. I was there for 5 minutes had to brush teeth because I had food between teeth she lied and said I was taking a bath in restroom and she and a manager thur me out of store and threatened to call police trying to put me in jail for no reason. Thur me off property for no reason may have thought I was homeless when I had rented room for one wk. Across street. Ingles has good food and deli the problem is there employees are not honest and are racist

“Steve” the manger in Jackson ga around 9:20pm he said “ shut up” to the bookkeeper “tres” she said back to him you “shut up”. There were about 6 customers in the front of the store where Steve and tres was at. Tres always making fun of another employee of the Jackson store. She use bad language there was about 9 customers where she was at when she said. Steve also talks to customers in an inappropriate way. This happens almost every night when the store about to close.

September 9th 2023 @ 9:06 am register number 16. I had bought more than I planned and told the bag boy I needed a bigger buggy, instead of him going out to get it I had to. Then I had to load my own grocery’s as he stood there with his hands in his pockets. I shop in this store almost everyday and never had this issue. Yes it’s a petty complaint but what was his purpose other than holding up the counter, he never once tried to help. What’s the use of paying someone to stand there. I’m sure your cameras can figure out the employee.

I came to ingles on west Blvd shelby to pickup wife's medicine. It was called in yesterday and said it would be available today. I ask at pharmacy for medicine they said they don't have it at this store. Which I was today t would be here. They said it was at store across from walmart. But the store was closed due to an emergency. (Strange emergency happen to be labor day. Anyway I ask if that store was closed why could they not transfer it to the west dixon store. One would have thought I had ask for a miracle. the pharmacist said it's ingles policy not to be able to do that. Sad service. System either broke or don't care.

I had ordered a one meat and one vegetable lunch. It had add a fountain drink for a dollar. I got the fountain drink as am afterthought and brought it up to the cashier after she tang up 8 dollars and sixty cents.

She called the manager over, he switched th3 bar code sticker, and it till came up to 8 dand sixty cents. I has a best, a thigh, and Green beans and a drink. No way does 7 dollar ecomr 8 dollars and sixty cents . I toldthe cashier that I wasnt paying for it and paid for the drink at checkout.

I called corporate and the complaints man couldnt do the math .

He didn't even know the percentage tax on 7 dollars.

Breakfast here is bland and the grits are like soft gravel.

I was shop at the Andrews store all the time. I've been doing all my grocery shopping at that store for over 5 years now. I get all my lunch meat cut fresh from the deli. Two days ago I was in the store doing my weekly shopping. I was walking by the deli when I noticed an employee was eating the deli food. That usually doesn't bother me, however, this employee was not wearing gloves. She was placing her hand inside the hot bar grabbing food out of the pans. I walked up to the deli to get some meat cut. Darcey, the employee, brushed her hands together, licked her fingers, and proceeded to the back of the deli. Another customer walked up and Darcey came back help to assist the customer. At this point she still has not washed her hands. I was very disgusted with the employee. As long as she is back there working I will not being buying and more meats from the deli. I am hoping this matter will be resolved as that is extremely unsanitary and could easily get others sick.

On July 10,2023 at about 12: 45 a male employee (tall with facial hair) put his hands on his lip, then reached into the fried food area with his bear hands and pulled out a few pieces a few fried food. He stuck the food in his mouth, licked his fingers, then put the his hands into the fried food again to munch on more food. Another employee sold some of the same items to a customer which he had contaminated.

I reported the incident to a female manager who made me wait awhile while she finished her phone call. Her 15 second response to me, "What's your problem? Ok. I'll take care of it." She turned her back on me, then shut the door in my face.

I will be contacting the board of health since the manager and deli employees continued to sell the food.

I worked at ingles for over a year or so now. And the managers are rude. They don't care about their workers or their schedules. They tell you that the schedule is non negotiable and said that if you didn't like it to quit and find another job. I hurt my self at work picking up heavy boxes and I filed it and since then I feel like they have been trying to get rid of me since then. The managers will talk to you however they want and they expect you to deal with it. That's why the managers in the deli can't keep no workers because of the way they treat them. Ingles need to do better, especially in managing their departments.
