I got a call from indiatimes for book Club membership. After a week, when it was not delivered, i called them asking for clarification and CCE reply was " NO stock". More irritating is the refund policy. They say for orders less than Rs.1000, they wil not give cash refund. They will only give "gift certificates" after a week of cancellation of your order which can be used for online purchases. They take undue advantage from customers by creating this type of policies. I am wondering why should they accept the order when they don't have any stock and why shouldn't they communicate the non...

I got very bad experiences with indiaTimes shopping. I placed two order through Indiatimes. The first order was canceled after 10 days citing "Out Of stock". The second order has been shipped 15 days back and i haven't yet received it. I have called customer care multiple times for no avail. When i asked them to at least cancel the order they took down the request. When I asked them by what date would I get my money back, they told me that - WITHIN 7 DAYS I WOULD BE TOLD ABOUT THE STATUS OF MY CANCELLATION REQUEST!! They are ridiculous on top of being arrogant.

Hello, I have delivered the B'day cake & flowers combo from India times at 1st July'07. It supposed to be delivered with in 1 or 2 days as it was clearly written in there site. I kept on contacting them by phone 3-4 times... they never pick the phone as it was busy as usual . I sent them 2 mails on 9th July that the b'date was on 3rd July since u haven't delivered the cake yet so kindly cancel it & revert my money back, as to whom it supposed to delivered were out of state that time and no use of cake after 8 days. of b'day But they never clarify any thing either...
