GSMsolutions.ie They dodge like hell

GSMsolutions.ie (they have changed their name to Console Repairs Abbey Street) -Dodgy site advertising Xbox 360, Nintendo DS/wii, PS3, Playstation repairs, Dublin, Ireland.

Note: I brought it to this place becaused it was the only place that was offering this service in my area.

I took my xbox 360 here last year for repair, cause the disc drawer would not open, they told me the min charge was 80 Euro and they would send the 360 away and it would be back the next week.

Got a phone call two weeks laters to inform me it was repaired and the charge was 80 Euro.

When i got the 360 home the drawer still would not open (which was the origianal fault), there was a noise coming from the unit that was not there prior to the repair and the red light on the front of the unit was flashing.

My 360 became totally knackered as a result of their "repairs", which it certainly was not beforehand!

I contacted them immediately with my concerns!

They said that their "technicians" ok'd it before sending it back to me, so apparantly it was my fault that it was not working now!

They said that they would send it away again, to be further tested.

On top of this, they required me to pay an extra 25 euro service charge? even though still under their warranty for repair!

Fast forward a month later!

THIS IS THE END RESULT : Gsmsolutions give me a report saying that unfortunately the machine was uneconmical to repair, as a result of "general hardware failure"

END RESULT FOR ME: My Xbox 360 was KAPUTT!, and they felt it was neccessary to keep the service charge ! TOTAL UTTER DISGRACE !

Never dealt with such deceitful, devious, pond ### in my entire lifetime !

BE VIGILANT with so called repair shops !

Ha !, you quoted me 115 euro to fix my Xbox just last week ! It would no longer read games, and seeing as it was outside of warranty I rang a few shops. Remember me ? It cost be 50 euro to get if fixed in the end ! :rollseyes:

All lies - another company in competition with Gsmsolutions cant take the competition

firstly dont charge 80euro for repair of xbox, max price is 65euro once it goes over this its ber. if returned under warranty fixed for free - no charge if it cannot be fixed, a refund is issued.

Low life people that have to spam the internet to try give other companies bad names so that their company can try grow.

GSMsolutions.ie Not recommended

This "mobile phone unlocking & repairs" website based in Dublin, Ireland is not up to anything good.

We placed this order with "GSM solutions " for which we were promptly charged and when we saw this on our bank statement (not just an authorization) we naturally assumed the item was on it's way.

A couple of weeks later with no item delivered, we called and were told it was "Back Ordered" and that it would be available in a week.

The next month I called and was told the item was "discontinued"

I am of the opinion that if I am charged for an item, you better have it in stock and that it should ship within a reasonable amount of time (2-3 business days). Most resellers wont even charge you until the item it actually on the dock on it's way out the door.

The "tone" of the voice of customer service strongly indicates that they are fully aware of what they are doing. To me, this is on the hairy edge of criminal.

This matter was NEVER resolved. Repeated attempts to communicate with them were ignored.

NOT recommended!

We never charge for items that are not in stock. If an item is not in stock we tell the customer and hold their number on file until the item comes into stock. Once in stock we contact them and they can pay for it then if they still want to purchase the item.
