This is a definite puppy mill. I bought a golden puppy from this lady not long ago she has about 30 golden retrievers locked in 10x10 fencing kennels. The dogs walk around in their own feces and urine and get NO exercise. Bowls and water buckets are nasty, and they sleep outdoors in the cold on metal for their beds, for it is VERY SAD. There is feces with dog hair all wrapped around at the bottom of the fencing. Her puppies are stored in a wood building with having no windows nor can see any day light with closed doors for they get NO socialization at all whatsoever in poopie pens for it is very very sick there. She states that she has multiple litters, and does not vaccinate for she has also had parvo there too. She doe NOT vaccinate her dogs, her puppies are very small and under-nourished. For a old 68-70 year old lady and caring for 30 adult dogs or so plus all these puppies she has is absolutely crazy. I only bought from her to save and rescue the puppy. She needs to be SHUT DOWN.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You guys are all so on drugs with all this jealousy crap out there against so many people, pull your heads out of your butts and stop being such jealous vindictive people out there towards other breeders with reading all these untrue bull crap stories that are not in fact true. Go to church seek God in your life doing this crap against others will definitely not get you to heaven.
Marcy replied that she has Health clearances for her breeding stock...which is complete bull crap! Go to the OFA website and read about the four health clearances that should be done on goldens (Hips, and elbows (after 2 years of age) heart and eyes (every year)...this should be done not just for the parents but for generations behind each one. Now go to her website and try to find ANY evidence that ANY I repeat ANY of her dogs have ANY of the four...good luck, nothing is there. She is a fraud, she lies, she produces unhealthy dogs...we contacted her about our dog, we live 15 hours away...and she was not going to give us a refund, and she also promised to put the dog down. So no thanks, we kept her, and are taking good care of the poor thing. That by the way, arrived infested with parasites, underweight and sick with kennel cough. We love her, but this poor dog suffered at the hands of Marcy any decent person shouldn't support such a terrible dishonest breeder. Instead find your local golden retriever club and ask for a breeder referral, they certainly won't send you to a breeder like Marcy, that's a guarantee.

I hope that all of America sees what I see in all of each and every one of you that are all in this with each other for America Hates HATTERS AND VINDICTIVE PEOPLE AS YOURSELF. I am glad you see yourself as in going to Heaven with what you all are doing to this family of such innocent people that have been rail-roaded. Haven't you ALL had enough? Or are you like Home Alone Movie and are Thirsty For More? You need to ALL GROW UP and Leave Harold and Leah alone for they have absolutely DONE NOTHING AT ALL TO YOU . If you want to keep writing false acquisitions of Untruthful Stories with making stuff up and putting these people's name on anything and everything you come up with- think about it what goes around comes around.

you mean kennels as in plural for there are many kennels at this place and puppies are not socialized at all they live in a dark building away from house with no windows for any type of daylight at all other than 1 window that has the ac unit stuffed in it. Feces with urine smell is present cage trays are not cleaned looks as maybe once every 6 mos or so or after 3 litters have been put in them then cleaned. It is a real shame. I pray for this woman what she is doing with all these dogs and puppies in buildings and cages, plus more dogs are in her house and out in back of her house in plastic cages too that only come out 1 time a day house is nothing but urine smell dogs are urinating in the plastic cages or on the floor in the home just awful. Please pray for these poor animals please
You must mean kennels and no they are not socialized I have been out there and the puppies are in a dark building out in the yard away from the house in cages with no windows
Why did this person not tell me about this golden. I have clearances on my breeding age goldens and am glad to share this with people. I would love to talk with this person. Why has she not contacted me in person instead of writing on a complaints site. this was supposedly 5 years ago. Why was I not contacted 5 years ago? If there was an honest complaint, it should have been made 5 years ago. And if the dog was in such bad shape 5 years ago, why was she not returned to me or had surgery. With a six or 8 week old golden, if it is not socialized, it is the responsibility of the new owner to spend a bunch of time with the new puppy so that she is raised in the house with people and exposed to other dogs. I am not responsible for dogs after they leave my place. This person needs to get a real life. I have a hard time believing that this is an honest complaint. And my babies are well socialized. Anybody is welcome with notice to come see my kennel and my goldens .
I have witnessed her kennel to be as the original poster described. Marcy claims she does the proper health testing, but she does not. To an unexperienced buyer, it is easy to believe she does. My puppy was unsocialized when we got her. After a year we wanted to test her hips, and she failed. Marcy did not follow through with her guarantee, and we had to have our "breeding quality" puppy fixed. She now suffers from severe hip dysplasia. unfortunately, for something like this, there is not a lot of protection for the buyer. So we are stuck paying for the vet bills of our now 6 year old golden who can barely walk. I really hope no one will purchase any puppies from Marcy. I would not wish what I have gone through on my worst enemy. She needs to stop producing unhealthy puppies. She has no ethics as a proper Golden retriever breeder should.
this woman that wrote this is a trouble maker. Actually, she is a nut case and has tried to destroy many good breeders with her nasty tongue. Her name is Lea Winkler in Hickory NC and Phx Ariz. My goldens are in 10X20 chain link kennels inside a huge barn. They have plastic decking and insulated kennels from Gun Dog Supply. They all get out everyday to play on my 4 acre mini farm and are loved and cherished. I feed Life's Abundance food (www.healthypetnet.com/marcy) and all are healthy and happy. I have a wooden building with two windows in it that is insulated, heated and ac for Summer altho my babies are born on my lap in the kitchen and only move out there after weaning to help keep things cleaner. I am considering taking out papers on Lea Winkler not just for the damage she has done to me, but all the other good breeders she has a grudge against and that produce nicer puppies than she does. If you cross her once, you are going to receive her gross tongue and be harassed for the rest of your life. And did you report her to anyone? Call animal control? Call your local SPCA? No? You just complained on a websites where thousands of other people complain about random stuff, and expect someone else to take her down? Yeah, you bought that puppy to "save" it. What about the others. Too bad they don't have a blog junkie to "save" them...
