In efforts to resolve a Subpoena issue over tax and wage reporting and between the dates of 11/15/2023 and 11/27/2023, I made numerous calls over 10 days to the UI Field Tax Agent, leaving voice messages and an email with supporting documents demonstrating the fact that my LLC is not delinquent in reporting said tax and wages. The Agent never answered nor responded to a single phone call or recognizing my email. I am not able to access my Employer Account using the GDOL account number and the Federal EIN with the error code "The information you entered does not match our records". I exhausted all options trying to resolve these issues and I beg you to do something about it.

This dept of labor is crooked to the core. I just got an approval letter for a claim I made almost 4 years ago. Made my weekly claim...no payment. Just like last time. Certify every week and no payment. Pathetic. This is why we should not depend on the govt. My lawyer will be contacting them this week. I had let all of this go and they sent me an email stirring things back up. Not to mention I got a letter a week after the email telling me my claim had been denied. Which claim? The website is complete trash. They make it like that on purpose so you don't get your money. Its wanting me to sign up for employ Georgia. That doesn't even exist anymore...should I continue?

In September I was out of work for over two weeks, at no fault of my own and I was actively looking for work. I was approved for benefits but was told I had to verify my identity by uploading documents or via IDme, I did both. I haven’t received anything yet and it’s been months. Each time I reach out, I’m told the same thing and it’s frustrating. I don’t understand how people who actually deserve the benefits are given the run around while others get them without any problems.

I filed a complaint with the GDOL.. I was approved for my benefits but had a code stopping my payments. They claimed they removed it but I haven't received any payments. And it's been over a month.. And every time I file it rejects my claim.. I've been to the career center numerous times and contact the office in Atlanta still no results.. And now they aren't really helping at all. Just telling me they will review it the next day and when that day comes it's We'll look at it tomorrow... My claim is legit and those codes are the only thing stopping my payments.. After almost 40 days my bills are do food is low and the people that are employed to help me have stop helping me.. They said it was a child support hold but That department can't help me either.. I've contacted them numerous times as well

I filed a claim for UI in September 2022. I was denied benefits because “I could have done better because I performed my job with no problem in the past” which is an unfair thing to say because of the nature of how contracting works. Anyways I filed an appeal and the appeal was denied because it stated my issue wasn’t appealable! I then asked to speak with someone on the issue! I want to speak to the person who made the decision. I have a right to know! The dol has treated me unfairly and I want someone to help

I was initially approved for unemployment payments back in June of this year (2023). I have not been receiving my checks even abiding by the rules of searching for employment weekly. I have kept diligent in doing so, also, requesting information on entering a program that will teach me how to become a certified PIT driver. I've sent several emails on that issue but most of all, my unemployment checks have ceased for no apparent reason.

I am WAY behind on my bills and in jeopardy of losing my car due to payments that won't be made. What is going on? I'm under the impression that the Georgia Department of Labor's intention is to NOT disperse my payments. I don't know if this is amusing or some mystical power the DOL has but it is not funny to me not being able to eat let alone pay car insurance and note.

I filed an Appeal on 7/4/23, I have not heard back from DOL or have received a hearing date. i have reached out to the commissioners office and was told they are still backed up from Covid and did not have nay idea how long this process would take. This is radicicols. I have been out of work since May and have been doing everything required by DOL to file unemployment, Job searches weekly updates. They are unreasonable over there., I filed unemployment then my previous employer changed the reason for letting me go. Something I didn't even do, hence the appeal. Now I have no income and my bills are piling up.

I submitted have been submitting weekly benefit claims, however there is and has not been any updates on the portal. I have been calling and on hold for up to 2 hours with absolutely no response. I understand this is not important to the people who have jobs working at this agency. Unfortunately for this is what i have to do right now, please believe would rather be working somewhere rather than to be dealing with this agency and not disturbing them. How can i find out anything about services or if there are issues, if there is no one to speak with. Also, the portal is not being updated so how this platform useful to those who are in need of it.

I was laid off at the end of April and I haven't received any of my payments even though it was approved by my last employer. The DOL claims that there was suspected fraud on my account from 2021. I have complied with everything that was asked me to remedy the issue and as of July 22nd, I still haven't received any payments. It is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone so I have to drive to the unemployment office to talk to a live person. I have been there 3 times and every time I inquire about why I'm still not receiving payments, they tell me to check back in a month.

I lost my job in May the company closed.

My unemployment was FINALLY approved after weeks of every loophole under the Sun well those first 3 weeks of payments are still owed & not paid! I’m getting my regular amount but not the 3 wks! I’ve talked to supervisor after supervisor and still it’s not fixed! They said there was a glitch in the payment system and it had been reissued,except IT HAS NOT!

Almost 2 months after filing I still do not have the 3 payments! I have no job and have been unable to find work I need my money that is owed to me to pay my bills!

I was clearly not given all the funds alloted as it had a remaining balance. I eventually received a new award and was hopeful to be soon rec ING back my aid and then my weeks of reporting somehow was erasted and I was never paid for weeks I was homeless with my two girls. I with no where to go. I am still upset and need my full award plus compensation for suffering as I was negatively affected by the lost of my place to live my daughter was returned back to her father and I lost absolutely everything including my truck that was my means to my business I want to be fully replenished of all I've lost and. Iré due to the disregard of concern to my kids that I've been unable to care for due to the dols extreme over sight of my case. I am I have yet to be acknowledged or regarded with any sympathic form of regard to the y dol.

I have appy for unemployment when my company laid off the department, I had file and job search and follow all the rules, no response or anything. I was giving false information and I stop applying. I am still unemployed and submited a new claim, still having issues. I was told by the rep, the examer reach out but my number was not updated by the last rep correctly. I was alos told by the rep, you can see you reach out gave all information on the 17th. I was giving a email,

I attached the seperation letter and the offer letter. This has been a real headache and stresful situation. I dont understand why he has not reach out, just denied my claim. I reach out to a labor lawyer that told me to try to reach out and clear this before he takes my case. I had death in family and I am out of town trying to handle this. I applied for unemployment at the beginning of the pandemic and I received my letter staying ill be receiving benefits as of 3/30/2020. A few weeks later my account glitches out and im locked out for to many incorrect pin attempts. I had to verify my identity which took almost 2weeks. When I regained access to my account the information still showed how much I was suppose to get per week and for how many week. I claimed every week and never received payment. The info in my account never changed from the balance remaining to the number of weeks I could claim. I signed up for direct deposit; but never received payment, I was then forced to reapply when my case was up and got denied for regular unemployment and told to apply for PUA which also got denied. No on picked up the phone at the office, you could t even leave a voicemail. I just want to know who do I contact or reach out to about my back pay or funds to get this matter resolved. I have recently received a debit card in the mail but my roommate misplaced it; I dont know if the funds were released on the or not. Can anyone shed alittle insight please. Its been 2tears since then and still havent heard a word from anyone.

From 9/2022 to the present my account has been tampered with and funds haven't been released. The office had my Georgia Employ Account locked. They changed payment from my bank to their debit card. Add of road b¹0locks have been put in the way where it went as far as me having to re-apply yesterday after being approved in November.

gdol didnt process my claim in two and a half years. after i emailed commissioners office several times, a claim examiner process my claim and denied it for overpayment of benefits. my claim was never processed so how could it overpay. no one will answer phones and ive been getting run around for over two years to the point of filing class action suite against gdol and mark butler

Previously I was awarded $35000 unemployment benefits. I received a letter and the Georgia Peach card. I would like to know the status of my account as I have not received any money yet. Someone told me the money would be put in the Georgia Department of Corrections State account for my use. I have some legal fees to be paid and I never received the money as of yet. How do I let you know my information to look this up.

I filed for UI after being laid off on August 15th. I received a determination, then a re-determination, called and was told to submit documents to the Integrity Unit and have heard nothing since. I’ve reached out to the DOL email, commissioner’s email, Governor’s office, Fox 5, constituents dept, and called daily and have heard nothing! The last letter from them was sent Aug 23rd. I have a job now but I am entitled to my UI. I got behind on bills and I don’t understand what is going on with the DOL and NO ONE holds them accountable! Why can’t someone help the people of GA?

I worked for Home 2 Suites 3433 Bobby Brown Pkwy, Atlanta, GA, US 30344, for 2 weeks in December 2021 12/07/2021 - 12/17/2021, and I have yet to be paid. I have turned in new hire paperwork and my i-9 documents several times, as they claimed that was the hold up. I have asked and sent emails to be compensated and I have not gotten a response back at all. I have spoken with Whitney Smith the GM about this twice, and sent a final email on August 29, 2022.

I have been trying to correct an incorrect termination reason for a month with the DOL/Appeals Board. I have had my past employer send in an email to them stating that they are not going to dispute it and that the correct reason was stated, which was given incorrectly to begin with. WHY would I need to wait almost 3 months to obtain UI benefits? If they are processing in order of receipt, they should be able to go to the ones that do have a quick resolution to close out. In regards to dealing with the DOL, I am not able to get anyone on the phone for at least after waiting an hour on hold. Once I do get a human on the line, they ask for my information including my cell number in case we get disconnected. We get disconnected and I never hear back from them. Why do they need my cell number if they are not going to call me back? The DOl is a broken, dysfunctional, mis-managed arm of the GA State Govt. My next call will be to the AJC to let them know that the dept. is still majorly broken. I, like many others. do not have hours oin end to stay on hold waiting on someone to anser my call. FIX THIS! Also, when I visit the career center, there is hardly anyoine there working. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE?
