Ez Grant Pro Overcharge

I applied for a cd which only cost $1.97. they did not indicate in plain terms that I would be charged anything extra for reviewing the CD. I did not even receive the CD before I was charged $64.43 and then subsequently for 3 months. I wish to refunded all these fraudulent charges.

Ez Grant Pro Did not know of additional charges to be applied to my credit card

I agreed to an original charge of $1.25 and have since been twice charged $24.95 & $64.43. I did not authorized these charges and want the money returned to my credit card immediately. I tried speaking with one of your representatives who said it could not happen because 7 days have passed. BULL. Either that money is returned to me or I will be going to the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. No where in the information that I was given does it state that my card will be charged for more than the initial charge. I am currently unemployed and need that money.

Back in August 2009 I apparently had accessed an email for EZ Grant Pro. I may have originally been charged $1.95 - which I don't recall authorizing. I have been charged $78.75 per month on my VISA since then. I was very sick and in the hospital in Sept and on home rest for Oct and part of Nov. As a result, did not check my VISA right away. I am 60 yrs old with limited income and believe I have been scammed. I need this money refunded to me as soon as possible. From looking at the other complaints, it appears quite a few people have been scammed on this I notified my credit card company and tried to call EZ Pro but no one answers.

I purchased the EZ GRant Pro CD for $2.29 (which I have never received) and then noticed an additional debit charge for around $65 (unauthorized). I called them and inquired about the additional charge and was informed that the $2.29 was for a 7 day trial and that the additional charge was for the actual program (which I was never informed of). I requested a credit of my money as I did not want to continue with the program, to which I was informed a very irritated "NO" to. The idea behind researching grant money is so that I can develop/build my buisness, but apparently the idea behind the EZ Grant Pro business is much different. Their idea is to take money for services/items not provided. Luckily my bank will work with me to dispute the claim and change my account number so that no further funds can be debited. Please beware of this company and their fraudulent practices.

I ordered a "free" DVD in order to do some research on available grant money and agreed to pay $1.75 on my credit card for shipping and handling. I just looked at my bank statement and EZ Grant Pro charged me $78.75. I have filed a disputed claim with my bank but based on reading all of the other complaints, I am not hopeful about getting my money back.

There are quite a few complaints on here about EZ Pro. Anyone know anything about starting a class action lawsuit against these people? They need to be stopped!

Hello,

Do not look at this site if you are looking at grant information. They had a program for $1.99 to just open the account to view what they have availabe. I changed my mind and clicked off the site. They ran with it and automatically charged my credit card $78.00 last month and another $75.00 this month. They said their was a 7 day free trial and if I did not respond, I was automatically charged. I finally got ahold of them (took weeks) and they agreed to cancel the account before they took the next $75.00 out of my account. They would not refund my money even if I returned the unopened CD that they sent me in the mail. I let them know that this was dirty business. I did not even know I was signed up until they charged my bank account. Don't let this happen to you. You won't get your money back.

Billed $78.75 for a product that wasnt asked for. Over drew account total $250.00. The $250 is mainly overdraft fees for a product that wasnt asked for.
Never asked for the product, Never received the product therefore I am expecting $250 to be deposited into my account to cover overdraft fees and put me back in the positive $78.75. It takes five minutes to withdrawl the money I expect five minutes for the money to be deposited.

Sincerly,
Mike

I signed up for a 21 day free trial of EZ grant pro and was charged 39.95 for a website I don't need or want, before the 21 days were up! I callled to cancel and 30 days later the charge is still on my account. I was also charged via ATM for another service totally unrelated to EZ grant pro called Debt Eater. When I called them they told me EZ grant pro sells their lists to other companies who debit your account!

EZ Grant pro and Debt eater are both scams. Don't sign up for either of them!

I approved a $3.95 charge to my credit card for the CD. Have never received CD and never approved any other charges by them on my credit card. I have been billed $78.76 last month and this month for services I am not receiving. I am now going to be short on my electric bill because of these charges and because I have not been able to work due to illness. I also don't understand why it took so long for these charges to hit the account because I requested the CD during the summer and because I never received it, I forgot about it. From what I am reading, these people are scam artists! I want my money back! I have three teens to support...on my own. I just lost my husband at the beginning of the year from a heart attack! I would never have okayed these kind of charges per month with the responsibilities of my children and all the bills looming over MY head! I am not stupid and I want a REFUND! REFUND! REFUND!

This company makes unauthorized charges against my credit card on a monthly basis of $78.75 and when I call to cancel the service there is no answer just a busy signal and then a disconnection. There is no website to unsubscribe. It is my debit card, so it's hard for me to dispute the charges.

According to what I've seen on the internet many "customers" of this company have the same problem. How do I get them to cease and disist?

I found this web site and thought I would take a chance since it was only $1.97 cost for the CD that I never got.

The next thing I know is that they deducted $ 64.43 from my account without authorization from me. I cannot afford this deduction, but it did not overdraw my account.

Now I do not know if they will continue to deduct more money from my account and how I can put a stop to this. Any suggestions?

Ez Grant Pro Scamming money

I also gave my permission for a one time charge of 1.95 for a dvd to help me control my finances. Since then we have been over drawn in our bank account for nearly 300.00.
They are scamming people for money this program is supoosed to help you get financial help and all they are doing is screwing people. I would never agree to a monthly fee like that i have a hard enough time making ends meet as it is. All I was doing was trying to get new help to lget back on my feet and take care of my two little boys. DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MAKE THINGS WORSE!
THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME SHARE MY COMPLAINT,
HEATHER CHANDLER HAYGOOD

Grant EZ Pro are scammers! I paid the $1.95 to get the information to get free money from the Government. All they did was take $64.43 out of my bank and never said a word to me. Called them up to cancel the $64.43, they told me it was cancelled but the amount they took out was non-refundable. I would not be able to get it back. Don't authorize the payment of $1.95 from them, they are lyers and they will take your hard earned money.
