Brake pads
I bought brake pads at Autozone on 9/7/23. FOR A 2002 F150.After I already had the one side apart I had to figure out how to use the old clips because there were none with the new pads. Purchased the H5DLG battery from Autozone for replacement on my wife's 2015 Buick Encore. The next day I noticed a spill on my driveway (see picture) and wasn't sure if the old battery had done this or the new one that I had purchased. When my wife got home from work we opened the hood up to inspect and sure enough it was the new leaking from the top vent hole also pictured. We went back to Autozone and thinking that the first was faulty they replaced with another new H5DLG. After coming home from work the next day I inspected the battery as a precaution and wouldn't you know it, this one was also leaking. I do have a mechanical background so I began to sense that maybe the alternator on the car was faulty and overamping the battery so I had her take the car to the Buick dealership to have it checked out - the car checked out good. So back to this battery, I think Duralast has a bad product and I will not be replacing this one with another Duralast, I will be going with another brand as I no longer have trust. I'm not looking for compensation, I am merely passing along a bad experience with the Durlast brand.
