I bought contacts for my son this year. After receiving them, he couldn't adjust to them due to the material being used. My eye doctor wrote a prescription for a different silicone manufacturer to replace the defective ones. Coastal Contacts readily assured me that if the contact box was not opened or damaged, they could credit my future order upon returning them to their office. I returned them on October 11, 2011. Coastal Contacts / Unauthorized Transactions


I purchased contacts. They don't ask for payment immediately, they send you a bill with a due date. The bill was not due yet. This company retained my debit card information from a previous transaction. They then proceeded to draft the funds from the same card without my permission. I contacted customer service. They stated no manager is available and refused to assist with reimbursing the transaction. After being transferred around from twit to twit they finally hung up on me. I called them again(must be a small office) and they hung up again! Beware of doing business with this company

Over four months ago I purchased O2 Optix contacts from Coastal Contacts. I received the correct contacts in the mail within about a week of purchase. At the time Coastal Contacts was offering a $60 rebate, so I filled out the form and mailed it in about 14 weeks ago. The rebate form explicitly states that the rebate would be issued in 6-8 weeks.
