Cash For Iphones Purchase scam

I received a quote online for an IPhone 5s for $293. I read the terms and conditions, which made it appear to be safe for me to get my phone back if they did not honor their original quote. It stated t hat I had three days after receiving their final quote to not accept the quote and receive my phone back, all postage paid, if I did not agree to the new offer. This was a new working phone that had been used for only 6 months and never was out of its case. There was not a single scratch or I would never sent it in to this service; I would have sold it on Ebay. Instead they came back with a quote of $52. I was outraged. I called multiple times and was put on hold for hours. When they finally took my call they explained that the phone was too beat up and that was all they could offer. When I asked for my phone back they said it had already been processed and sold. When I asked about the three day right of refusal they said it was out of their control as they no longer had the phone and that my situation did not apply because the phone was not in the condition that I claimed it to be in. How convenient for them. It is apparent that they never intended to honor their quote or give me the option to keep my phone.

Last week I too got scammed out of $250.00 bucks when I purchased an online 2 year Tech Support Service. Well, using the number they gave me, I called them back for some on-line support... and I tried to contact them for the next 3 days straight, but it seems they put a block on my phone, whenever their system recognizes my incoming call, and automatically hangs up. So, the good news is, after calling my bank, CHASE. Because I made payment using my CHASE Visa card... they went after this company on my behalf, found them out and extracted the money back from them, and my money was deposited back into my account within a week after the incident. I'm not trying to give a free plug or endorse this banking entity, but just telling you from my personal experience. Me and my wife reside in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Cash For Iphones theft

Total scam. Website said $127 for my iPhone 4s 16GB. Sent it in and told it was worth $19. Called 27 times in the 3 day window but was put on hold and hung up on until 3 day window passed. Told me it was "my responsibility to get in touch with them" Kind of hard to do if they won't answer the phone. Today 4 Dec 2017 BBB of Nevada downgraded them from a D rating to an F. Over 1000 complaints on BBB. I filed a theft report with the San Antonio PD, the Sparks NV PD, I also filed 2 complaints 1 each with the Texas Attorney General and the Nevada Attorney General. Also filed with the BBB in Nevada and I'm seeing a lawyer on Tuesday. It's become about the principal. I'm amazed that the State of Nevada allows them to operate. What a statement.

They are scammers. I sent them a phone that was 6 weeks old. It still had the protective cover except on the screen. They told me that the phone had heavy wear on it. Then they sent me a check of 70 dollars after an initial quote of 173 dollars. They told me that they could not send the phone back. The reason was, because I did not answer an email. I didn't tell them about rejecting the offered price through email. And my check had already been shipped by them. I will never use this company or any affiliates it may have. I strongly recommend that no one else does either.

I bought an iPhone 6 for my daughter in December for Christmas. Her birthday was in January. She wanted the iPhone 6Plus for her birthday. So I decided to sell the iPhone 6 to cashforiphones. The amount quoted was $659 for my device. Once they got my device they said it appraised for $230. I declined the offer and requested my device back. They said I would have to speak with someone in purchasing department to get it back. I finally reached someone in purchasing department. They told me that they had already recycled my device as I did not contact anyone in purchasing department within 5 days. I had to accept the foolish offer $230. I lost my iPhone 6 along with half of the quoted price. This company is not trustworthy at all and they are just scammers.

I was quoted directly from your website an amount of 215.00 for an IPhone 5- 16 GB Verizon for a phone that does not power on.

Even the same phone with a damaged screen indicates $138.00 and the worst scenario pays $92.00. I received a check for $22.00 and no reasoning or advance notification whatsoever.

They are very crooked.

I wish I had read the online reviews before sending my phones to this company! I had an iPhone 5c and Samsung Galaxy. The offer I received online was $600 for two phones. I was happy with that, and it was the best offer I found online. The next day I got an email of offered price $200 from the company. I immediately called and declined their offer. I wanted my phones back. It took me almost 1 hour to get through to the "purchasing department", as it would put me in queue with hold music and then someone picked up. I told the young lady that the offer was not acceptable and I wanted my phones back. She proceeded to tell me that I was unrealistic if I expected more. She further said she would see what she could do. She raised her offer to approximately $250. I again said no, and asked for my phones back. She told me that wasn't an option because the process was automated and the phones had already been processed. I referred to the terms and conditions that state you have 5 days to reject their offer and they will return your phone at no cost. She told me she understood but the process is automated and cannot be stopped. Finally, I had no chance of getting my phones back. So, I had to accept the pathetic offer. Please DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR PHONES!

Before anything else, they will lowball you. I guarantee it. I was offered around $200 for my phone (which was in near perfect condition) and I got about $130. The reason I took their offer in the first place was that it was the best deal I found. Plain and simple. I wouldn’t have even considered it had I known it would decrease by so much. They told my how much I’d be getting, so I replied via email immediately to decline and eventually ask to have my phone returned. Three emails, about ten calls, and two days later, they replied saying I could only reject the offer or ask for my device back via phone call -- like I hadn’t already been trying to get someone to pick up… and when they did pick up, I was put on hold for like 40 minutes. Eventually I was able to talk to someone who they told me that my phone wasn’t in the condition I claimed it was in. I demanded my phone be returned, but was told I had exceeded the three day period during which I could’ve rejected the offer. I couldn’t anymore basically, because I couldn’t reach them in time… outrageous. Stay away.

Pure bait and switch! I was quoted $337 for my iphone 5s. It was in a flawless condition. The device was repacked in the original box and sent to them. Only $170 was sent to me through check. I bargained a lot but all in vain. They are cheaters and thieves!

Cash For Iphones Iphone

Went online to cashforiphones.com (herein referred to as “C4P”) on or about 20 Sept 2014 for quote for one undamaged I Phone 5s 32GB. Price quoted was $403 per phone. Sale ID number is 469351. Both phones were less than 6 months old and kept in rubber cases. Phones were in pristine condition.
Phones were packaged in accordance with C4Ps policy and I mailed it on 10 Sept 14. Phones were received on 15 Sept 14 and signed for by Teresa of C4P @ 10:24 AM. I called and asked for my device to be returned on Friday October 17th due to customer service telling me my phone was appraised at $30.00. They transferred me to purchasing and I called at 3:05 PM CST and was on hold for 45 minutes and 49 seconds. I then left a message asking for my phone to be returned never got a call back. Finally spoke with a purchasing manager at C4P regarding the phones on 22 OCT 14. Was offered $75 more for the phone. Refused that offer and told him to either give what was quoted or send the phone backs. He then began to haggle. Refused all his offers.

I then asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told that none were available and none would call me back. The purchasing supervisor then informed me that the calls were recorded, so he can prove that I told customer service I wanted my phone back on the 17th of October. I told him to play the recording, to prove that I did. He refused to do so and tried to end the call.
Seeing that our conversation was going nowhere, I then hung up the phone and called back and asked for a manager. It sounded like the same manager was placed on the phone. Again, I hung up, called back and asked for a different manager or supervisor. I was informed that none were available and I could leave my information for someone to contact me back. The receptionist became rude and just kept stating that someone would call back. Then she stated another manager. She refused to answer if they supervised Brian or not, despite repeated demands that someone above him return the call.
At this point, we either want our phones returned in the same condition given or the agreed to amount paid.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Cash For Iphones THEFT OF DEVICE

Cash for iPhones quoted $305 for my iPhone 5 32gb, shipped the phone to them, 15 days later I contacted them to find out what was going on with the phone, said they had not received it yet, investigated and third party Newgistics had not delivered to them yet, they received the phone 2 days later. Within three days they deposited $44 in my paypal account. Not the agreed upon quote, so I emailed back on their notification that this was unacceptable and refunded the $44 through paypal.

Today I received an email saying the return request had to be done via phone. I have contacted them 9 times today, held on the phone each time for 59 minutes 52 seconds, varies within a couple seconds each time... while listening to several tunes such as HAPPY, which I am not. At the last few seconds a female voice comes on and asks that I leave a message and someone will call back. Does not happen. Then I am disconnected.

Upon checking their references, which I should have done prior to sending the phone, sadly they are crooks and have done this to multiple individuals, too many complaints and all for the same rip off. Bait and switch, these folks are definitely defrauding folks at a high rate of speed and something needs to be done about it. I would like to file a class action lawsuit, I have gathered so many names, this is ridiculous. Reading their disclaimers you have three days only to request the return of your phone, day one is down the tube now, HELP ME and others to obtain justice and shut these guys down.

Evidently, they operate under ECYCLE BEST, CASH FOR IPHONES AND CASH FOR LAPTOPS.

Phone numbers on their websites are all the same, difficult to get thru and when you do, it is recordings and terminal hold times with not one ounce of credibility in their statements on the websites.

Numbers I have tried to contact for them are

I want the $305 they quoted or my iPhone 5 32gb in immaculate condition (physically inspected by Verizon for their buyback offer, day before shipping, they did not offer as much as this bunch of crooks, should have traded with Verizon...LESSON LEARNED) returned to me via insured with a tracking number through a reputable carrier such as USPS, so that there is no funny business and the phone is lost in the mail ( never returned ) as stated in so many of the complaints online, millions of them, it is horrible what these folks as getting away with.
