Carl's Jr. Employee shortage affecting service

March 12, 2024 I stopped at Carl's Jr, 829 S White Sands Blvd. in Alamogordo, NM. There were 3 customers including myself attempting to place a food order. I arrived about 9:30 am. It took approximately 20 minutes to give my order to the employee at the register. The employee whose name appeared on my receipt was Christian V. He was extremely busy doing the jobs of about 3 people. He was taking orders at the drive thru, the front register, cooking between orders, delivering take out orders to cars outside and delivering orders to dine-in customers. The entire time trying to satisfy customers by apologizing for the long wait times. Christian V deserves an award for his hard work! I received my order at 10:15 am. There is nothing fast in this fast food restaurant. The store was grossly under-staffed. I can only imagine the chaos during the lunch hour. Christian V should be rewarded for his hard work trying to keep customers happy and protecting Carl Jr.'s reputation. Burgers are not cheap. Employee pay probably needs review to recruit good employees. Carl's Jr. is lucky to have Christian V as an employee.

Went to Carl's Jr for lunch today February 22nd 2024 got a lunch combo the bread on the hamburgers tasted like it was 4 days old hard stale got an order and onion rings for $4.49 and there's only four onion rings and that meal what kind of deal is that that to me is a rip off for that kind of money Joe ferlito 7541 gallant circle citrus hts ca 95621

Carl's Jr. Sourdough burger with bacon

Went to the Carl's Jr on Cypress avenue in Redding California ordered a big Carl and a five piece chicken strip meal and the sourdough Burger get all the way back home get the food out and my burger doesn't even have a Patty on it so I called them go in and have it remade and they sit there and say oh never in my life have I not put a Patty on the burger like trying to say we were lying when we go in there almost every day at least three or four times a week we eat there

Claimed loss: Well for one I wasted my time and my gas to have to go all the way back to have my food remade

Desired outcome: I'll be happy with just a free meal or something I guess and maybe they need to talk to their employees would be nice about their customer service

Carl's Jr. Discrimination/defamation

on 12/9/2023 at 10:17 AM I entered the drive thru and place my order, asked the order taker if I can place a second order, she said no, I asked to just add the extra combo to my original order. When I approached the window and paid for my order, cashier asked to pull to the front, to which I refused, I did not had a complicated order it was breakfast time and my order was just breakfast items, 2 biscuits with sausage a breakfast burger, 3 hashbrowns and 3 drinks( 1 coffee, 1 coke and 1 orange juice). Cashier said "you need to park in the front!" I answered "I'm not obligated to park in the front, my order is not complicated..." She looked at me with anger and closed the window. Next, a heavy female, light skin, colored eyes came to the window in a very aggressive way demanded me to move to the front. I expressed the same logic, "I can wait here for my order". She went on accusing me of Yelling at her employee and making her cry, NOT TRUE AT ALL! (DIFAMATION!)I said in a very calm voice, "this is not true, i'm not yelling on no one, your cashier is right there and not crying, I'm just waiting on my order." She closed the window and came back with money in her hand and in a very loud voice said 'HERE!" I asked her, "what are you doing? "She said I don't have your food, here is the money you paid (my guess is about 10 min had passed since I placed my order) She reached out to my car window and dropped cash in my lap, and said "have a nice PINCHE day" and threat me with calling the police if I didn't leave the drive thru, because she can refuse service to anyone. I'm sorry how can you refuse a $29+ sale? Since when a manager can refuse service, because the guest does want to park in the front of the store to wait on a non complicated order? I demand a call or answer from the regional manager, this person refused to give me her name and was not wearing a badge, from her attire I suspect she is the Manager. I spent 6 years of my life as a shift leader in a Carls Jr, and this is not the way to treat a Guest!, She definitely needs to be re-trained or being demoted. She can not be using slang Spanish words just because I'm Hispanic, this is RACISM! Her attitude is not compatible with the high guest service Carls Jr has a reputation on. She has discriminated against me and defamation also is involved by her making up the story that I was yelling. If she would explained to me what was taking longer and in a polite way asked me to move to the front, this would've been a total different experience. I left just because I had a place to be at a certain time, otherwise I had no problem waiting for the police, which is nonsense. You call the police when there is violence or vandalism, not in this case. I will be expecting a call from the regional manager. Thank You

Desired outcome: I need a call from the regional manager, and compensation in a form of coupons or gift cards, my family end upon having breakfast.

Carl's Jr. Last order

I asked for extra opinions on two California classics and wasn’t told that there was an extra charge for the onions or I would not of ordered them. My fries were cold. The oil was oil also needs to be changed as the zucchini didn’t taste good. The bun was also somewhat stale. Usually your food is better. Unfortunately the only thing that meet your standards were the drinks. Store number 1100640 order number 309832 Thank you

Carl's Jr. Charging a higher price than what is listed on the menu

Dec. 4, 2023 I ordered a Guacamole Bacon Cheeseburger COMBO plus another item, paid, and then began to wait for my food. The combo was listed on the menu as $14.59.

When I looked at my receipt I noticed that I had been charged $18.08 for the combo and when I asked the order taker started talking about how it was a problem she knew about and offered to refund the full amount, or, I could just accept the overcharge because she was unable to offer a refund for the difference or charge me the correct price for the item.

So the server knew about the price discrepancy and didn't bother to acknowledge it until I noticed and asked about it.

Claimed loss: Inconvenience for me and the customers that had to wait in line behind while I inquired about the overcharging, had a refund processed, and then ordered a different food item.

Desired outcome: Fix the menu prices and stop knowingly overcharging customers (a higher price than as posted) in violation of California Code 12024.2

Carl's Jr. Service

Store number 1101536 order number 212643! While going in and placing our carryout order we felt very discriminated towards or judged or racially profiled towards from the person who took our order and who seemed to be running the floor and drive thru etc at the time! It happened at 3:16 pm on a Monday, we were only people in line at the time but a few people in drive thru, we had ordered a shake with our meal and a slice of cheesecake. We stood up front for our order til done, then when our food was complete he called us up by saying western burgers and then walked away. We stood there for a few minutes after he handed the bag to us, then had to speak up and mention our shake and pie piece, he handed us the pie piece after he got drive thru a drink which was wrong, and then left us standing there to wait til he went over to drive thru and corrected that guys drink and then went over cleared his screen, let some people in the bathroom and got another guy some ketchup and then finally went over and made my shake, which we had to also ask for ketchup not even offered to us, which this all happened 15 minutes after we initially ordered our food! He didn't smile, he didn't apologize or anything! Very unprofessional and only 2nd time ever there, we will not eat ever again at that location

Claimed loss: Our western meals were cold by the time we got to eat, and cheesecake was very soft!

Desired outcome: We would like our food replaced or a coupon for something at a different location ! Will never go to that one again

Carl's Jr. Senior discount

Stopped at one of your restaurants for lunch today and when I requested a senior discount was told that that can only be applied if items are ordered alacarte and not if ordered as a meal! This policy makes no sense if a discount is offered it should apply to ALL orders or NOT at all! It is bad enough that we seniors need to ask for the discount each time we order but to place these kinds of requirements on the discount is just plain DUMB!

Carl's Jr. wrong meal

Ticket number #85 order Id: [protected] to go! I order CBO CA DBL CHSBGR for $5.99 and SM CBO GUAC BAC CHS for $9.39. When I got home in the bag was 2 CA DBL CHSBGR. NO GUAC BAC CHS. That why we stop going to Carl's Jr. I really wanted to try GUAC BAC CHS. We live out in the country and both in our 70's. Almost every time we go to Carl's Jr, they screw up our order and Carl's Jr. is too closer to us!

Carl's Jr. Services

Did an order on the mobile site and it went to the wrong store. They cant even answer the phone to cancel it and the store we thought it went to told us they can't do anything about it. So we were out the free sandwich and the fries we paid for because no one can do anything. The app is horrible. The other food we got was disgusting. The fries, onion rings were just disgusting. I hate carls jr and this is why. Horrible food and service.

Desired outcome: Want a full refund on the two online orders that one was lost and one was disgusting.

Carl's Jr. Los Lunas Location SW Main / blatant disregard

Employees or even the manager on shift have put meat on several orders of mine, when I chose either the beyond “beef” plant based option, or I placed a similar order for breakfast explicitly putting no protein or meatless. Each time someone or thing manages to put not only meat but pork on my sandwich or burger. I’ll never ever eat here again based on these employees actions with feel blatant. I live nearby so chose to return while hungry. Never again, this franchise will never get my business again.

Claimed loss: Veteran and vegetarian keeps getting meat put on food that I didn’t spend my money on or want.

Desired outcome: Just wanted to bring to light about these employees that have evil intentions or just can hear or read when a customer placed either online order or in person they do whatever they want.

Carl's Jr. Food I ordered

I did your app on line for the 1st time and order some burgers. I ordered 1/2 price guacamole bacon angus burger, there was no cheese or bacon on it they didnt even use an angus burger but used a smaller size burger instead and lots and lots of lettuce almost enough to make a small salad. I also ordered a california classic double. I got 1 burger patty no cheese or grilled onions and a lot of lettuce. I did not get what I payed for which I payed by credit card for which your app required. I really would like a refund back as this was not up to your company standards, and was very unexceptional to me. Very unhappy young lady.

Carl's Jr. Cheesy bacon Angus x 2 combos

I ordered 4x large double cheesy Angus combos and I got 2 x burgers that I don’t know what they were but they weren’t large double cheesy magus’s because we all compared burgers and they were different. Now I feel like I have spent too much money on your food to just let this slide $100 dollars just for four combos I expect to get what I ordered for $100 an order so I am very aggravated by the attempt to just give us any old thing in our burgers. Which was last night at 03/11/2023 9:52 pm. Maybe they might validate making our order out of the leftovers of what they had in the kitchen but I don’t think that is good enough seen as I paid actually $125 dollars for my food. If you don’t remedy this I will not come back to your shop I will drive to any other carls jnr in sth Auckland.

Carl's Jr. Manger at the la junta co store

She is rude as hell and won't give me her name she is a short Mexican lady on the heavier side she has told me that I didnt order some things and I did and she has been ever so rude with me when I go back or call about the missing food from my orders I feel she needs to find herself another job where she isn't in customer service and if she doesn't get fired I'm going to go probably higher than this

Claimed loss: I have lost over 15$ in eggs alone don't get me wrong I love Carl's Jr breakfast when I receive my order right I have spent a lot of money there but going to take my money somewhere else unless this lady is dealt with

Carl's Jr. Manager coming in 1 hour late leaving his employees in the dark

Manager coming in an hour late leaving his employees in the dark, when he finally shows up and asked about this he starts laughing when we push him a little further as to why he's a manager and leaves his female employees in the dark which they come in on time and why are you laughing about your tardiness, and why the attitude? He's around 25 years old and he can't have consideration for his own employees, and bars people who point out his lack of respect and consideration for them and customers I hope the employees will see his stupidity, and walk out, what the f* is he going to do by himself he can't run that restaurant by himself if his employees see that they won't take his attitude because I'm sure he puts it on them while they're working

Desired outcome: A reminder to the manager that just because he has a finger to point and tell other people what to do, he is not exempt from following the rules himself, and if the manager can't come in on time you should not be a manager

Carl's Jr. Brush colorado store #05649

I have been eating at Carl's Jr since 1994/95, love the food my all time favorite burger place!. I travel for work and am all over the USA. I understand Hardee's has a similar menu and is a sister corp. I get here to Brush Colorado and they refuse to make the breakfast burger after 10am, they keep telling me it is a breakfast only item, this store is inside a Loves truck stop. Every Carl's Jr in Colorado springs, Denver, etc will make this sandwich anytime of day. I was under the impression that this sandwich was a full time menu item yet this franchise refuses to provide it! Very unhappy with Carl's Jr right now and spending my money at McDonald's and Subway while I am here.

Desired outcome: Would like this resolved. This sandwich should be available all day, the Breakfast burger is a burger!

Carl's Jr. Order # 373444 at Store #1101028

I placed my order at the drive through around 6:30. It's important to know that I was the only customer. Nobody in front of me, nobody behind me. The cashier Evelyn took my order and I drove up to pay. I paid and she told me that I was going to have to pull around front and she would bring the order out to me. She closed the window and walked away. It seemed odd because there was nobody behind me and I could see she wasn't taking any orders from other customers. I stayed there hoping to make eye contact because I wanted to ask her for my coffee. After a few minutes she saw me there and opened up the window and I asked her nicely for my coffee since I was going to have to wait. In a snotty tone she said that neither the coffee or biscuit were ready and it was going to take time. No coffee at 6:30am? I pulled around and 5 minutes later she came out and handed me the coffee and biscuits without saying anything. No thank you, no apology, no customer service, just a bad attitude. I'm a professional and have managed over 100 people in my career and I think it's important for you to know.

My son and I were in the vehicle when I asked her for a number 2 plain and for the seprate order she tells me they dont do seprate orders there and if I dont like it I can eat somewhere elde. She is one of those rude [censored] employee that screw off the customers because there is no supervisor over looking there actions. She has got to go. She has too much attitude to work the drive thru.
