CareerBuilder India has truly been a game-changer for my job search journey. The user-friendly interface and extensive job listings made it easy for me to explore opportunities. I appreciate the personalized job recommendations based on my profile. Overall, CareerBuilder India has helped me take the next step in my career with confidence.

It seemed to work fine as a job site, but since I signed up I've been receiving constant spam emails, texts and calls. At first I couldn't pinpoint it (I signed up a lot of places in my job ***), but then one of the random calls I got - from a company who was very confused as to why I couldn't remember "applying" there - said they "received my resume from CareerBuilder because they [CareerBuilder] thought I would be a good fit."That's a big yikes to me. I understand making my resume available to employers, but to essentially apply to a job on my behalf without asking me, or even just notifying me, is absolutely mortifying and deeply unethical. I'm pretty sure CareerBuilder is responsible for my spam, and I caution anyone against sharing personal information on their site.

So far, there's not much to recommend them. They seem legit, but heres what I sent to them: 'I signed up on your site for real jobs, remote jobs, but you only send me junk that is not job(s) at all. They're all survey jobs. I need a real and steady paycheck, not take surveys for chump change. I have bills to pay. When you send me a remote job, I click on the apply on company and get directed to not what you claim the job is about, but to more junk survey stuff that none of which are real jobs.'Im about to delete my account with them because of this foolishness. I am running out of money. I am paying my rent by credit card and paying only the minimum payments on those. I still have yet to find anything legitimate. Ive had it.

I have been using CareerBuilder site for the last week with no issues. Suddenly today I am completely blocked from the site, it says I need to communicate the Cloudflare Ray ID: 85d31efc9f346894, also here's my IP: 142.93.31.234. I have done nothing wrong or nefarious, just searched for jobs! I don't understand why I've been blocked? I don't want to go back to using Indeed etc but I guess I have no choice now? Please unblock me?

This company is not honest. It's all deceitful and fake. I noticed many figures on my account weren't adding up, so a little investigation revealed they were helping themselves to my investment. I found this disturbing and wanted out, but they made it difficult. I responded to a job listed on Career Builder for a " remote personal assist" I was asked for a resume which was sent, I received a phone call from a " Dr. Tim Gray asking me " interview questions" All went well, I received a call the next morning saying I got the remote job, I was to be paid 950.00 every other week,

I received a call from Dr. Tim Gray saying my first assignment was being sent to me via email, ( i have all emails and text messages) My assignment was to buy items for children living in Foster homes in Rapid City SD ( close to where i live) and the funds to buy these items will be delivered fedex..

The payment comes in a check form from Morgan & Morgan lawyers trust account from Ft. Meyers Florida. I was to deposit this check and take my 950.00$ pay and shop with the list that was sent to me and drop off at the addresses provided. Note: these addresses were legit foster homes.

I deposit said check, received a phone call the following day saying this check is fraudulent from my bank, meanwhile i am out 2900.00$

I attempted to contact career builder but can never get thru to a live agent. This has really put my life in a bad situation as to where i am not sure what i can do anymore.

I trusted Career Builder to help with a job and now i am even further behind, Career Builder how can you allow people that are fake to advertise on your website?

I was sent a questionnaire. After my reply withing about 15 minutes I was offered a job within about 15 minutes at $40 per hour. When I asked questions the reply was very non-committal and when I click on the url it didn't exist. Further research showed that the company likely doesn't exist. so i got happy from my cell phone i can search remote IT jobs ,and yes Im into quick apply where short application to apply it was yay im on top of my search to get a job,i liked the fact i dont have to create account but automatically it link the email to account and list all the jobs i applied for ,

bad enough they show me that i applied to more than a hundred job where i never got contacted from these employers

As if they looked at me as i have problem trying to find remote programmer positions its like we in this century of high technology where IT jobs goes off shore in bulks.

yup mentenality they attacked me as im the shamless one

I got excited that covid posted the need for remote IT jobs

where these close narrow mind people got a little more mannor and since of hold their temper.

so yes i stopped applying to these remote cool jobs becuase i just got scammers who reducle the idea of such remote programmer web developer sql developer but they dont reducle off shore jobs

I used to have a CareerBuilder account and I closed it because I kept receiving emails from recruiters--and about jobs I wasn't even looking for! I still receive these emails.

Is there any way to stop them? They show as if they're coming from gmail addresses and other domains. The email address it's sent to isn't even my email? The email address it's sent to is different every time. How am I even seeing this?

This is driving me nuts.

She was on the phone with me and sent me a contact to sign, electronic and explained it was for the agreed 3 months as the email reads above.

We are continuing to get invoiced. Jose Panerio Cus Serv Mgr Dept Renewal was connected on numerous occasions. He is refusing to acknowledge the email and stating I signed for a longer period. The company is taking advantage of us, if that contract reads other than that email, that's fraud. I have emails every month from the date of my ended contract with CB up to Jan 31st. More than 13 emails trying to get someone to acknowledge that my contract is over. First one started in November.

Phone number 914.809.0419 contacted me, Mr. Rick Hall via text for an interview using WIRE. Installed Wire and followed the instructions to connect with the hiring manager Larry Lacey @LarryLacey11. He could not and further would not even provide credentials to prove they were with the company or tell me what the company does. He just sent me job titles and pay rates. I requested an email and did not get one. Asked me to trust they were legit. I discontinued the Wire convo, went back the text convo and asked for a phone call or email. They again asked me to trust they were the hiring manager. I called the number above and got a generic voicemail message. I did not leave a message.

Please research and help. It does not appear to be legit.

I recently posted my personal information such as address, email and phone number along with my resume on Career Builder. The website indicated that my information would be shared with other employment sites such as Indeed, Nexxt, and Monster. Within hours of posting my resume/information I started to receive scam phone calls and emails. Several of the phone voicemail messages were foreign language and barely audible. One week later on 10/25/22 my bank accounts were hacked. I have spent countless hours protecting my identity, contacting creditors and attempting to remove all of my information from the online job sites. I have received only one legitimate potential job contact after I went directly to the company site to apply instead of using the online attachments. I strongly recommend anyone using online job search sites to consider locking down their credit and investing in identity theft protection before going online.

I recently became unemployed and desperately looking for work. I decided to update my resume on CareerBuilder & Indeed and make them visible to all employers in hopes to find work soon. I put in at least 50 applications on CareerBuilder that day and almost immediately I started receiving multiple emails and texts about work opportunities. Most of them did not look legitimate. I was also receiving text messages from different employers asking to schedule interviews for companies I would google and almost right away know that it was a scam. However, after declining most of them because I thought they were scams. I received a text for an interview followed by an email to that my application had been pulled for recruitment with an offer letter. From Filly Shipping company with the address and contact information on it. I checked the website and immediately contacted BBB to confirm if this was a legitimate company or not. After reaching out I and leaving a voicemail for a call back. I decide to contact BBB by email. I shortly after that I received an email from BBB. No information was found for Filly shipping. But I was strongly advised to be very careful as it could possibly be a scam. Because it looked to her as if they had taken part of a name from two different companies and combine it and created a website. I decided to take the advice I was given and be cautious. I did not give out any personal information. I was provided a check so that I could purchase work supplies from Bank of America for $1,744. Because I had recently been contacted by a previous company for employment that want me to purchase work supplies with a check that was a scam, I became even more cautious. I reached by out and explained that I would not accept a check to purchase any supplies or as payment. I ask that they make other arrangements, or I would decline the offer. I was told that they understood, and they would reach out to management and see if some other arrangement could be made and follow back up with me. A few days later I was contacted again this time I was advised that they would mail me the supplies and they would pay me by direct deposit. I was asked if I was comfortable using my own laptop to start working until I was shipped my equipment and I agreed. I was a link that I had to download to add the company software and begin working. Since this was a supply chain company, I would be sent merchandise to inspect for any damages once received. Next check in the item and upload a photo of it. Shortly after that a shipping label is sent to be downloaded and printed to ship the merchandise through FedEx or UPS. I begin to receive very expensive merchandise like Apple iPad, surf pro laptops, Dewalt equipment and much more. To ship out because of this I thought this could not be a scam. Until last week I was on the phone talking to a friend of mines when she asked me if I had found a job yet. I said yes, I think so. Her response was, what do you mean by you think? As I started to tell her about it, she started to ask me more and more questions about it and became suspicious she asked me for the name of the company so that she could look them up and I provided it to her as well as told her I have already contacted the BBB and they could not find anything on them. I told her I felt uncomfortable with it at first but after they agreed to work with me and started sending the merchandise, I was sure it was legitimate. However, when she googled, she pulled up very negative reviews from multiple people that had been working for the supposed to be same company and never got paid. All of the reviews were from the same week within hours apart. I immediately google them again and I was able to see the negative reviews as well. However, when I googled it with the BBB there was still nothing found. It was not just a coincidence that I just happen to receive another job offer the very next day from another supposed to be chain supply company call ESP&K consulting. So, I decided to send my friend the information to google it. This time I even went through the trouble of going to the secretary of state website to confirm if it was a scam or not, I contact the BBB and they could not find nothing on them either. But I continue to research the company for a week checking the website very closely I could not find a good contact phone number. The number I called was a voicemail that never gave the option to speak with someone. So, I became suspicious. The next day I received an email from them with the complete job description. I was asked to purchase supplies using the company bank account. I was advised to transfer money from the account to my personal credit card to purchase the supplies. I immediately responded back advising them that I would never transfer any money from an account to my personal credit card because it was money laundering. If this was really a business, they would have a billing department that would handle this. So, I contacted the BBB and sent all emails and any information that I had that could help them in the investigation. I also asked them to contact the police department or FBI due to the fact that they had someone account information and they know exactly how to withdraw money from their account and add it to a credit card. In the meanwhile, I noticed that the Filly shipping job that I thought I was working for the last week had not sent any merchandise all week. I started thinking about the negative reviews I found and started reading them again. Most of the victims thought that the merchandise was stolen. I put two and two together and realize that it was the same people scamming from Filly that had contacted me from ESP&K consulting. This is a very large scam that I believe the FBI should be contacted about. They are using two different fake company names to lower people into transferring money from someone's account and adding it to their credit card to purchase the very expensive merchandise and ship it to the people that are supposed to be working for Filly Shipping they will then ship it when they receive a shipping label. But they are so good that they make sure to cover their tracks as I read the reviews. They are using a text me app to change their phone numbers up so that they cannot be trace back. Also, I went back and inspected some of the labels I printed out to ship the merchandise and notice that it had the wrong return address on it. They also used some of the local streets in my area as well. I currently have two pieces of merchandise here and I would like to know what should I do with them? I am begging you to please contact the FBI on this because I'm sure this is a felony because they are stealing from someone account. This could be an inside job of a bank employee or someone that works or know someone of the account they are using. I am willing to help in any way I can to ensure that they are stopped. People are struggling during this pandemic trying to find work and these foreign people are over here scamming hard working Americans. Most of the reviews had the same supervisor and manager Roselyn and Greg.

I was contacted by a (turned out to be) fake employer and scammed me for $225. They contacted me from the informations they received thru Career Builder on February 03, 2022.

Besides that, most of the calls or contacts I received regarding jobs, have been fake.

The size limit on this form for uploading photos (aka proofs), are not enough for the files I have. If you need, I can send all thru email.

I re-registered with them a few weeks ago to find a job and I've gotten nothing but spam calls from foreigners. When you call them back they don't answer the phone. So I researched the number and text his name W. William Testa and he called back speaking this gibberish of English telling me he was calling to offer me a job from Delta. Mind you he's calling from his personal phone. You all need to do something about this service or discontinue it. And you need to do something about crooks like this.

I was given hope by the company for a job but they gave me fake documentation.and stole 40000 thousand from me.

This site has the most scammers and their program is really bad. You can apply for a retail management position and they will say they found another 50 like it. You can click one button to apply to all, however, you find out you applied to be a Nurse Manager, a golf club supervisor, an electrician...I get inundated now with people contacting me from fly by night companies with high turnover rates. It is horrible!
