Careem bad service customer

Every time when I book the taxi they give me other rate and the end of the trip the rate is definitely another and always it is extra, also drivers they cancelled they trip by themselves but I always need to pay for that, what kind of game is it ? you don't respect your customers, and when I text to customer service of careem they always respond me late or respond and speaking with me like a kid, they acting as these problem is not big or doesn't important, what such of service is it ? omg, so unprofessional, I think there working just people who feel bored, they are not taking this job so serious, I decided to complain it to Government of Dubai.

Careem Taxi services Dubai

Everytime I book a taxi driver is unable to come to requested location. They always get to dispute over the chat, they try to overcharge if they make a mistake and have to go around. They do not read which location they are picking up from and they never know where they are going. They always ask and don’t understand instructions. They ask to use my internet and phone for google directions. The level of service is poor. Careem app gives incorrect information on destinations and pin location does not work accurately. It is always a headache and stressful experience.

Desired outcome: Quality checks of drivers and their knowledge of the city and landmarks. Procedures and guidelines introduced and mystery shopping exercised to assess quality of service. Improvement of the location within the app services

Careem Payment not receive

Careem pay is advertising that transfer money in your account within 60 mints but its took more than 13 days i have still waiting for my money still showing processing. Customer care only taking complaint but happening nothing. I am worried about my money got scammed. Please advice you to never use this app.totally frustrated.

The incident occurred as of today 26 of Sept 2023 at 11:36 AM.

Careem Food

We ordered a large 12" pizza, potato wedges, mango drinks but the food that came was rank and never seen anything as disgusting as that in my life before. As soon as we opened the box, the pizza smelled badly and was folded up. It was inedible and really a shame for my kids who were so hungry and delightfully waiting for a pizza. I'm very unhappy with the lack of response from Careem despite using their services like taxis and groceries multiple times.

Careem Delivery theft

I have placed an order on careem on 17/09/2023 under the phone number +[protected], the delivery man had placed the order in-front of my house, took a picture of it, then took the food with him and left, I am extremely baffled and disappointed by this experience, I have all the evidence on CCTV footage, kindly look into this matter and get back to me asap as the careem customer support have not done anything to help.

Careem Taxi

It’s been the 3rd driver that stop and pretend to have a booking. Once the destination is shared to them they say that they have a booking a leave.

This is the 3rd driver picture that applies to this email.

You should seriously re enforce the way they work as it’s far from professional.

I haven’t mentioned the booking app that takes forever to deliver a driver. Usually the driver comes from miles away.

You charging a fee of aed 12 on booking and the service is not justified.

Careem I am complaining about a driver

Today 19/ 7/2023 at 11: 00 am I booked a ride and I kept waiting for 30 minutes and when I text and call the driver he didn't answer. He didn't come. He canceled the trip after half an hour. I had an interview and I reached late. I will provide his information in a screen shot.

The driver name: Ahmed

Car number: 4251 ط ر س

Car brand and color: silver Kia spectra

The destination was to Dover International School located 8n El Shorouk City Cairo Egypt at 11:00 am

Careem Overpayment & fake promo/marketing

Assalamu alaikum Aimen,

Sorry, but first of all this compensation is not acceptable. I demand a full refund of the whole fare on my credit card! Because like I wrote to you already, the price estimate while booking the Hala and the final price was way off! And then the wrong fare and journey also by the driver. Wallah, I mean the WHOLE experience from start to finish was a nightmare. So complicated and full of nonsense!

Also I don't want anything in my wallet as I'm leaving Dubai tomorrow. So Careem is useless for me after that. Useless. I will have no use of Careem. You understand?

Also I have tried to apply many different discount codes. They don't work! Instead of saying to me I did not apply the discount. You should explain to me how I should apply it, if I maybe, maybe I applied it wrongfully. But internet wasn't invented yesterday and I am not computer or smartphone illiterate. Okay?

So please, with respect, refund me, full refund on my credit card which I used to pay for the unsatisfactory ride service and schalas I will delete this account & app and never download it again. Thank you, maat salama!

P.s. Also please forward this to your manager immediately. Because he/she needs to know, this is NOT how you treat guests. Tourists coming to your country for holiday and you give them unnecessary headache. Using Careem has been a horrible experience, full with fake marketing! I will attach some files as well.

Careem Bad service and bad attitude from customer service

1- i ordered a taxi for about 40 min it keeps finding a captain then the driver cancel the ride then it find a rider that did not cancel - when he came he took another passenger infront of me - i called him many times he did not answer

2- i called customer service they did not give any solution but to send me another driver i did not accept the he told me to wait then he hang up on me

3- i called the driver again he answered i asked him why he pick anothe rpassenger he replied that he canceled me - i told him u did not and i have a screenshot of it the he called me a liar

4- i called again the customer service and same solution was given and no driver come even after 70 min .

Careem driver did not wait

I am regular user of Careem application.

1. I have booked a cab on 31st oct 2022 from Al durat 3 to Heathcare city.

2. I asked driver to wait i am coming and came down and he was not available and he was not picking my call.

3. I got a charge for the services not rendered.

General complain when we book hala taxi many times I get non hala taxi , why . Incase hala taxi is not available the app should not accept or ask if I am interested to use others. please fix this app issue people book the service basis there affordability and it cant be pushed to them to use black taxi etc.

Careem Taxi and Customer Service

I booked a taxi for my friend on Oct 22. I paid using my card and by mistake my friend gave a cash payment to the driver as she was not aware that it was already paid, and the driver took it.

I sent a complaint through Careem app and keep on sending them emails and messages on their app for a reminder, but I didn't receive any feedback from them till now.

Careem Double charge

The last experience with Careem made me think to stop using their service at all! I'm in Dubai for about 7 years and use taxi quite often and even left tips for captains.

I ordered regular Hala taxi from Zulekha hospital (Al Nahda) to Garhoud hospital on 13 October at about 4:45 pm and they charged me 80 aed! Though in the same day I used their service only in the opposite direction and trip cost 35 aed only!

I had been waiting for the taxi driver about 30 minutes! There was no traffic in that area, it's a lie! I had been walking a long distance in that area about 15 min before the order and after captain arrived all the roads were still totally free.

The driver Umar Farooq was friendly and arrived on his personal car! I don't know why? Without meter and camera in the car!?! Probably he started the meter when I ordered the taxi and waiting for him, I don't know.

The receipt details: starting 10.60, distance 26.82, waiting 3.90,peak surcharge 28.92, Dubai surcharge 5.00, Tollgate 4.00. Total 79.24 aed?!

Some other night on 9 February, at 5:30 pm in peak hour! I ordered Careem economy class from Expo Centre in other Emirate Sharjah! to the same location Garhoud hospital, also 10km and they charged me less - 60 aed only!

Their helpline center is helpless, unprofessional and they don't care about customers, they just keep saying about peak hours, but it's a lie!

Terrible, unprofessional service, very often cars are very stinky, drivers talk to their friends via video while driving, don't know English and Dubai at all, but the most important you must pay them as much as you can!

Desired outcome: Please refund 40 aed! And apologize for this situation.

Careem Account issue

To whom it may concern,

My name is Gaelle, I'm a Careem Customer and I have an account on the App, I've been using it since one year,

I booked yesterday a ride from Elite 10 Sports City to US consulate and the payment was supposed to go through online process but accidentally it didn’t happen despite the confirmation of the payment receipt by the driver. (The name of the driver was Mujahid)

However, I was surprised by blocking my account when I was trying to book the way back home and I'm addressing to you this complaint as I'm willing to pay the fees subject of above ride which are around 90 AED and request hereby to kindly remove the block,

Careem My complaint is about your stop

I am a taxy driver in uae from the careem I got a mail that is written like this I am not a good taxi driver but I want to meet that person that I will prove it who's right u are I am?

Seriesly we are working with careem very honestly and every customer of careem has insulting us in that if we cal to him they are coud'nt take action and now telling me like this I am very hurt

Careem Careem car services

I visited Karachi back in July/August and used Careem car services, they have charged me double on account of security deposit by automatically deducting amount from my Debit card and as well as my wallet, they mentioned that security deposit shall be refunded in 3-4 weeks its been more than 2 months now and I have not got my money back

first deduction happened on 2nd August Rs600 and other 2 happened on 5th of August Rs. 1027 and Rs. 1028

Careem About my money

On 26 September 2022 at 7:14 pm careem driver drop me at faizabad daewoo bus stop Islamabad. It's charging 1250 rupees, i don't have change so i have 5000, he will say give me i will go to near by shop and give you change. Me waiting for him outside the car then he suddenly come and fastly sit in car and take my all money, didn't give me back my money plz resolve my issue.

Careem Fraud/Scam

Last night i booked a ride from Emporium mall to Madina Colony. The rider shown on the app had silver wagon R but the guy who came to pick me up had honda city silver colour. He told me that ur go saver ride wasnt available so it shifted to premium. You have to pay the premium fare but don’t worry the remaining amount will be transferred to ur wallet. I agreed coz of my previous experience with careem. I had no idea that m about to get scamed. When we reached the destination he showed me fare of around 4125PKR. I was shocked to see this huge amount but anyways i paid him 4500 coz i had mo change and he told me that u will get the amount back in ur wallet. Now the rider phone number is off and my money is gona. I want my money back now. I hold careem responsible for hiring fraudsters as captains looting innocent passengers.

My fare was 766. I want the remaining 3734PKR back in my account.

Careem Overcharge Careem

I used Careem on my trip tu Dubai. I took a ride from the same journey twice, one costed me 40ead and the second was estimated in 45. What was my surprise when they charged me 10 times more. It was in June , I’ve being contacting Careem since in multiple Chanel’s but I’ve only received multiples empty promises that the money would be returned.

They gave first 3 weeks deadline, and after, more 4 weeks. Now they just ignore my emails.

Careem has no respect with female costumers, as their contact channel is always rude with me. I’m very disappointed
