Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises a/c broken

I stopped in to get lunch and the air temp was unbearable in the building. I dont know how the employees weren't passing out. They appologized for it and said its been like that for days. I'm wondering how they are able to keep their cold items cool enough to keep from spoiling. I refuse to patronize them with my business until this is fixxed. I'm going to call the County to go do inspections on temps for food safety. It's rediculous, especially in a time when we all need to wear masks.

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises pastrami sandwich

I was very disappointed with this bagel sandwich. The picture of the sandwich is very inviting but the actual sandwich is so poorly put together especially when your paying almost $7.00 for it. A small amount of pastrami put on bottom a piece of cheese and some mustard. It was not a very tempting looking sandwich and way over priced for what you get. I wish I had a picture .

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises manager named richard

Richard is one of the LOUDEST managers in a service position I have ever encountered. He yells at his employees in front of customers, he is arrogant and rude. He made disparging remarks to a group of elderly men who liked to meet at this location. Because they only purchased coffee, Richard, in a loud voice, would make fun of these men and their purchase, or lack thereof... loud enough for the men to hear and other customers too...needless to say Richard got his wish...they have taken their business elsewhere and make sure they tell others how they were treated. I, for one will think twice before I ever go into this Brueggher's again. Richard could use some anger management training as well as sensitivity classes...what a rude man...should not be in the service industry

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises customer service

Today, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 Just shy of 8 am, I went into the Manlius, NY location and got an iced coffee and a toasted onion bagel with plain cream cheese just like I always do. I usually don't complain but this is the third time I have had an iffy experience here. I understand mornings can be busy and crazy with people stopping in on the way to work just like myself. Today, the young girl who was making the bagels and other sandwiches, was on her phone and then just walked off on her phone and went into the bathroom. The poor woman running the cash register had a line of people to cash out and then was trying to take care of me and all the other food orders. The cashier was extremely apologetic and had amazing customer service skills and got right over to me as soon as she could. Finally, someone from the back came out and helped as the cashier stated the other girl took off on her phone, AGAIN!

First 1770 central wasn't open for the first 2 hours
Due to having a parking lot paved would've been nice to warn customers in advance Second I next drove to wolf road Albany NY they were open but didn't have any bagels their oven didn't work and they were waiting for some to be delivered very disappointed in brueggers their expensive and should do better

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises theft @ ingersoll store #3747

As an honest employee, its my responsibility to report to report that I witnessed Candice Johnson stealing an employee's tips, Candice said "Im not giving him [censored]" as she divided it amongst the other employees. The employee she stole them from has no idea that we get and split tips, this employees name is Rashad, & I apologize Im not sure of his last name, but hes a new employee.
This is unaccepaltable as a Training General Manager. And the employees who knew about it and took the tips are just as guilty .

Very unprofessional environment. I can't even count how many times the managers & employees refer to each other as "[censored]" . I'm shocked this is the environment I dined in for lunch today. The workers are loud, rude and lazy. I watched people continue to take coffee pots up to the counter because no one bothered to check them. A couple of times with the creamer too, and each time the employer at the counter was rude to the customer. I believe she's the General Manager, I couldnt believe she got such an attitude with the customer.

Girl behind the counter at your wolf rd Albany ny location completely ignored me The general manager was rude when I called to complain and would not give me the corporate number to complain. She proceeded to get louder and louder to the point where I simply hung up the phone on her and searched google to find another means to contact your corporate office. Both claimed they didn't see me but said I was only in there for a couple minutes. I was there for at least 3 minutes watching her do nothing and play with her drink bottle. I was never even greeted. Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises very little to no product

I wanted a dozen bagels for my family on Sunday morning mother's day. Walked in to bruggers at 9:30 expected to wait because it was mother's day and breakfast time. I didn't expect to see very little to no product on the shelves. Definitely not enough to serve the 20 people in line ahead of me. People at the counter were complaining. That's not the way I wanted my mother's day to go so I said I was leaving and walked out the door. There were about 6 people behind me. I don't know if they thought they weren't going to be busy or they misjudged something but to me that was very bad business. We won't return

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises manager and staff at your irvine blvd location in irvine

I went in with my Birthday Bagel promotional on email . I said I would like my birthday bagel with extra butter and cream cheese . I got a poppy seed one . The guy did it . Then he got my 8 bagels and bagged 8 + 1 Birthday bagel poppy seed nothing on it with the butter and cream cheese for it in little containers . Then I got a plain cream cheese additionally and paid for it you sell and an orange juice also to go . The Latino lady at cash register then says I charge you extra for the little containers of butter and cream cheese that were given instead of put on the bagel . I wanted to put on myself tonight . Then I asked for manager. Maria was nasty and I had to ask for her twice . They told me I had to walk over to her, I am 71 battling cancer . I have an obvious central line in my chest . She refused to honor the little cream cheese and butter containers for my birthday bagel and said I pay. I told them to take them out and forget them . That is just plain. Mean and rude to a sick 71 year old and don't say happy birthday either . Why do you offer birthday bagels in the first place absent citing disclaimer restrictions . I am very upset . My husband is an attorney . This is abusive . I hope they have cancer and go through the hell I am going through and someone treats them that way . You are incorrigible and mean !

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises unsanitary practices and rude service

This morning I stopped at the Bruegger's in West Hartford Connecticut around 8:50am. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The person preparing my bagel grabbed a bagel, took a dirty rag from the counter, wiped the knife with it, cut my bagel in half, and then stuck it in the toaster. Another worker then took that same dirty rag and took a dirty tray and started "cleaning" that tray with it. While I could understand the same rags get used to clean counters and trays, those same rags should not be used to clean the knives that are being used to cut bagels in half.
When I pointed out that she used a dirty rag to cut my bagel in half, and pointed out that the same rag had been used to wipe the tray, the worker looked at me incredulously as if I was crazy to want my bagel sliced with a clean knife. The worker who had "cleaned" the tray with the dirty rag then rudely said to me, that "everything is cleaned with the same rag". She claimed that it was sanitized before. Just because something had been sanitized a few hours earlier, does not mean that it was still clean after a few hours of using it to wipe down counters. Instead of justifying their rag policy, they could have apologized and offered to make me a new sandwich with clean utensils.
I then explained to her that I did not eat pork and when they clean counters and trays that may have pork on them and then clean the knife they use to cut the bagel, I'm not able to eat it. This is when she said oh if you have an allergy then we can get a clean knife for you. So only If I have an allergy will they use clean utensils to cut the bagels? It seems like an unsanitary procedure to use dirty rags to wipe utensils that will be used to handle food.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed by the service I received. Not only did I receive a bagel that I could not eat, but I was treated with disrespect during my visit. I am not inclined to visit Bruegger's again in the future after this incident.

I have been an everyday customer for many years now at your Melrose branch I am putting in a complaint about the behavior of your assistant manager Hymedi. he has been very rude and disrespectful several times while I have been in, not only to the customers but to employees also, he uses very disturbing language in a work place towards these young girls that also work there. how know one has filed a sexual harassment against this person is beyond belief. I feel I have to make this complaint so that this behavior may be corrected. in the past he was removed from this location for similar behavior and don't understand why he is back? I will no longer order from this location while this person is still employed

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises overall experience

I used to come here every morning when Steve was the manager. I would come in at 6 when they opened and any bagel or food option I wanted was available. Steve even used to have my favorite bagel, the jalapeño bagel, ready for me. He did this for ALL of his regular customers and the store was packed at 6am. I have since come here with the new manager (white male, older) and he is terrible, absolutely terrible. Most mornings there are literally only plain bagels, about 6:10, and if you want any other kind, they will not be ready until long after 7am. They are NEVER prepared, and this morning, there were only plain bagels, and I have watched 9 people come in looking for bagels and leave because they are not ready or not even cooking yet. This is really a terrible way to run a business, and I am very disappointed. I am sitting here working waiting for the hash brown bagel (now 6:29) and I am told that it will be another hour. So, yet again, I will not be eating here. A woman just came in and asked if there were muffins and if they were fresh. The manager said that the two out were not fresh and they were not even in the oven yet.
I'm wondering why this store open at 6 if you cannot get what you want until lunch time. This store has lost a ton of business and I am very discouraged. I have bee overcharged the few times I have been ordered, and my receipt has been thrown away by staff before I could see if there was a survey to fill out. I'd attach pictures to this complaint of the "no bagels available" if I could. Coffee seems to be the only thing you can get here that is ready at 6am.

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises my card expired after not being able to use it three times

I am upset that I had to buy a gift card to order to use my groupon coupon Then three times after that I tried to use it in the machine was down so I would have to keep paying out-of-pocket for bagels and not being able to use my gift card. Problem is that we don't live close by and when we would be coming through we didn't have any choice but to keep buying bagels and not being able to use our credit. (I was wondering if I can get another $20 or something because that's approximately how much I lost during all this)

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises iced coffee

On 4/20/18 at 11:14am I went to the Trumbull, CT location. I have been going to Brueggers for many years, I ordered my bagel and an iced coffee (French toast) flavor. As the girl handed it to me it looked like tea. Not coffee. I asked the girl if this was correct because it looked so light. Actually see thru. She said yes. And that was the way it looks. I proceeded to the coffee bar to add sugar and cream. As soon as I added the cream (I only use a little cream) it immediately turned white. I knew something was wrong. It had no flavor. As I had predicted. I went back to the counter and asked to exchange it for a regular iced coffee in hopes that it would be coffee the way it's supposed to be. Nope. Second coffee came the same way. I was frustrated. When I questioned the girl, "excuse me, this one is also so light and weak. Do you pour the hot coffee right over the ice?" Then the girl said, " how do you think you make iced coffee?" Like a smartass. I asked to speak to the manager. Her response was (as she flipped her hand at me as to dismiss me) and said that she was the manager and if I didn't like it I could take it up with corporate. Her name on the name tag was "Oree". I'm not sure what your procedures are but if you pour hot coffee over ice it's no mystery what will happen. Then you put it over ice a second time in the cup. It needs to be brewed and cooled before putting it over ice. Anyway, I was so annoyed after being dismissed, I asked for my money back because there was no way I could drink it.I am very disappointed and was a little embarrassed the way I was treated.

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises no food available

Went to the Breugger's in Belmont MA at 8:30am. Hardly any bagels ready for sale. I would think 8:30am would be a prime time for customers to come in for bagels, so it seems crazy to me that very few varieties were available. No cinnamon sugar, no cranberry, no everything, only one blueberry which I snagged. This is not an isolated incidence. Often times I go in and there are not bagels ready. The store is a bagel store, correct? Also, the line is always long. My opinion is that the staff is required to make complicated items for a takeout/fast food place. And too many items on the menu. Creamers are always empty, regular coffee empty.

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises poor service + black hair in food

Went thru the drive thru...no other cars there...waited 10 minutes at the window without anyone acknowledging I was there...simply ordered an egg sandwich and a water...there was an employee visible sitting down, playing with his iPhone...occasionally rubbing his face and nose and other body parts (underarms)...never once looking up.

When I finally received my order (a woman was pleasant but didn't acknowledge my long wait) I did not say anything about the other employee but wished I had...

When I opened my sandwich...it had a black hair in it about 2 inches long...I don't normally complain but this last icing on the cake made me think this experience warranted a complaint.

Did you bring the sandwich to the location along with your receipt? Or did you at least take a picture of the sandwich? Hair is definitely something they should be notified about.

Bruegger's Bagels / Bruegger's Enterprises no soup again!!!

The past three times I have gone into my local Brueggers they have not had soup. It's something that I look forward to and have been very disappointed each time. Today the employee told me that I should call ahead of time to see if they have it. Another employee voiced that many other customers that day were disappointed and just left without purchasing anything, as I almost did. I ended up going to Panara nearby to get soup, which I did the other two times this happend. I will no longer go to that store to avoid disappointment, I don't find it necessary to call ahead to see if there is soup when it should be readily available. I was there at 1:30 this afternoon.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing in regard to my recent visit to your location in New Hope, MN. I love this location and this will not change that but I believe I was accidentally over charged during my recent visit. I took a survey after my last visit which gave me a coupon for 3 free bagels. During this visit I got my normal bagel and cream cheese along with 3 regular bagels and a separate container of cream cheese to go. It was not until I returned home that I realized I was charged "3 bagels" 3 separate times along with the other 2 items I knee would not be included in the special but only one of the "3 bagel" items was credited. I will attach pictures of the items I purchased, the coupon, and my receipt. The price seemed high at the register but it was busy so I didn't look much into it until returning home. I am wondering if this receipt is correct and if it is not if any sort of credit could be applied. Thank you

I went to brueggers bagels in the morning for the first time ever i ordered a deli sandwich so i can have it for lunch he gave me wheat bread didnt offer me any other bread then he put the end piece with a regular piece the sandwich was uneven the bread was so hard i asked for manyoise he just globbed it on didnt spread it i had a terrible experience i was charged over 8 dollars for a sandwich and a snapple lemon tea i only got ham manyoise and a piece of cheese on wheat bread which i didnt even want but wasnt offered anything else the bread was stale
