Bethany group valencia park apartments,phx,az

I was set to move to an apartment on E, Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ on April, 20th
property name Valencia Park apartments. On the moving day I inspect and see this unit was roach infested and my buddy Matt was with me to help to this unit and went back to office and was told that they bomb the place 4 times and it was still roach infested roaches running around all over the walls and I was showed another unit and it was the same. So I told them I dont want to move to this place and they said they understand and I was told that Bethany Group will send me a check in 30 days and it is now the 20th day I am finding out that the Bethany Group is bankrupt, I went to the office again today and only find out everyone who worked there was let go and I saw a banner read under new management! I am thinking I have no place to go to get my $240 back and dont know where to go to get this money. It may not be a big amount for others but it is big for me I dont know what to do and I called their office in CA, no one is there to answer the phones.

Bethany group security deposit

I moved out of this apartments due to a numerous problems with lack of maintenance, safety(car breakins/robbery), floodings., Closed laundry facilities, etc Do not recommend to move there!. Good luck when trying to get deposits back. Meet Ms Attitude Mardi, lack of customer service..., . I feel that moving out of there was the best decision of my live. Mardi there is a lot better places in Tampa " COOPERS POND IS THE WORST PLACE HERE!".
Goggle for ratinsS website and you will see that 75%(or more), of ex-residents move out because several problems.

This company will not pay any bills for any of their communities do not extend them credit

Laura, We had the same problem with Alante. We sent them a "demand-notice" but have come to terms that we will never see our $250 deposit again. It's frustrating as we were excellent tenants for two years and left the apartment in immaculate condition. We moved out last August. We ended up writing to Channel 3 on your Side but have not heard anything from them. When I saw that Bethany Group went under we figured that the new management company would be exempt from honoring our deposit.

I WAS A TENANT IN AN APARTMENT IN ATLANTA I ALSO WAS A VICTIM OF AN ARMED ROBBERY AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. THERE WAS A LACK OF SECURITY AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT IN THE COMPLEX.I WONDER IF THEY EVEN CARED WHO THEY ALLOWED IN THE COMPLEX, LOSS OF FILES AND POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS. THEY HAD A HIGH TURN OVER IN LEASING AGENTS, JUST TERRIBLE.

The Bethany Group managed Alante @ The Islands Apartments in Chander. When our lease was up my roommate and I gave our 60 day notice that we would be moving out. We cleaned the apartment and left it in great shape. We expected our $199 refundable deposit to be returned to us within 14 days as the law requires. However, after 4 weeks we have not received anything correspondence at all. They do have the correct forwarding address for us. I contacted The Bethany Group and they told me that M.E.D. Management has taken over Alante @ The Islands and gave me their number. I called M.E.D. to make our deposit refund had not "slipped through the cracks". I was told M.E.D. does not assume the previous owners debts. Is anyone else out there having the same problem?

TUSCANY PALMS TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE BETHANY GROUP FOR MY SECURITY DEPOSIT AND ALL THE NUMBERS ARE DISSCONECTED. THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. I DO NOT RECCOMEND MOVING INTO THE TUSCANY PALMS, THEY MESSED UP EVERY LITTLE DETAIL AND DID NOT SHOW ME MY APARTMENT UNTILL MY MOVE IN DATE. WHEN I SAW THE APARTMENT IT SMELLED OF MOLD AND THE CARPETS WERE TORN. ROSEMARY, ONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS, IS A VERY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE PERSON. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY BEACUSE IT WILL TAKE OVER A YEAR OR MORE TO GET IT BACK.

Bethany group False Advertising

The website reads: "Tuscany Palms offers all the apartment living options you need to create a lifestyle you love. From fine finishes to charming interiors and luxury appointments, our apartment homes boast elegance in the details and feel of an expensive custom home."

The studio I was shown online and in person and the studio I was rented are two different places. As well as a contradiction to the Tuscany Palms website.

Yes, I was looking for a reasonable place to live, but not at the cost of my health. I have lost many nights sleep, have seen cockroaches in my belongings, silverware, dishes, cupboards, floors, showers, most every place in the unit. There are holes in the walls, rusty fixtures, caccoons in the dishwasher, water coming from an access panel in the closet, missing hardware for door stops and security chains, missing grease filter over stove in hood, peeling paint, peeling laminates on countertops and cabinets, overspray of paint on cupboards, as well as drops of paint all over the carpeting, shutters (used as blinds) do not close completely due to excess paint and failed magnets, gaps around outlets, sofas by the dumpsters, cat droppings in all grass areas of the complex, stray cats everywhere. A very unhealthy environment, opposite that which is portrayed at the website. Come by and see for yourself.
