Avesil refund

Avesil I ordered the trial version. It has been 30 days and not received. My account was charged today for this product. I contacted the company and they stated they are cancelling my account but no refund would be given. I told them yes it would so they stated I did not cancel within the 14 days so I am not do. How can I try the product to see if I am happy or know when the 14 days have started if it was never received. I want my money back and now. Everyone file with every organization including the BBB. I have seen several of the same complaints and they need to be stopped.

Avesil REPORT TO THE BBB!

I have had the same issue as almost everyone on this site with this horrible company. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I am awaiting a response. I WILL get my refund if its the last thing I do. I suggest everyone report them as well. It could be a huge factor in getting them shut down. We all work too hard for our money for it to get snatched away by a fraudulent company like Avesil.

DO NOT ORDER! Didn't work! Didn't Work! Didn't Work! And you can't return it so they charge you the $90.00 for the bottle you have of useless crap. I'm smarter than to believe these sites, but I fell for it again after doing a little research - key work here is little! Really steams me!

DO NOT do business with this company. They will charge your card even though you have requested them to stop. I just called American Express, they made it impossible for this company to continue to charge my card, effective immediately for the next four years :) I would recommend you do the same.

Avesil Refusal to refund

I ordered Avesil under a 14 day trial period on 2/18/12 with a Trial Expiration date of 3/4/12. I followed all terms for the trial period and cancelled on Day 14 at 1030am as my attached cancellation letter will show. On previous conversations they also stated that at time of sign up the charge would go through automatically the day after trial expired, hence I was charged 89.95 on 3/5/12.

Upon cancellation I mailed the Avesil container on 3/21/12 and it was received on 3/24/12 on the 20th day since cancellation. Upon their given terms I had 21 days to return the product.
•Receipt confirmed by Marie over a phone conversation with Avesil on 6/21/12 @ 1130am CT when I referenced RMA#34445W215731, she said she’s sorry there’s nothing else she can do I did not follow the agreement.
As they accepted the return and I followed all terms of the agreement I believe these monies should not be disbursed as I was provided no product.

Avesil Ripped Off. Theives. Fraud

Avesil is the biggest fraud company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT! I placed the 14 day trial order and never received it, never received a confirmation that it was shipped nothing. Month later received package with a bottle and a $95.90 BILL. PLEASE do not make the same MISTAKE by doing business with this company. They make their money buy telling you about the FREE 14 day trail but believe me it is NOT FREE. They charge you and then when you want to send it back and cancel they tell you that they will cancel future orders but they cannot give you the money back. I cannot stress enough DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY BUSINESS TRANSACTION WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU JUST LIKE TO GIVE MONEY AWAY!

DO NOT, I MEAN DO NOT ORDER AVESIL. THERE IS NO WAY OF STOPPING THE COMPANY FROM GETTING AT LEAST THE FIRST 95 DOLLARS AWAY FROM YOU AND THEN IT GETS EVEN UGLIER. LESS THAN 2 WEEKS LATER THEY CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN! THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE, THEY SEND YOU INTO A DATA LOOP ON THEIR SITE AND GIVE YOU NO RECOURSE TO RETURN THE PRODUCT. YOU WILL SPEND HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. MINE SAID THEY HAD MANY COMPLAINTS JUST TODAY. IF THEIR PRODUCT IS SO GREAT ( AND IT REALLY ISN'T) WHY DO THEY HAVE TO HAVE SUCH REPUGNANT CUSTOMER SERVICE?

I once ordered something (not same type of product) & had similar problem, except I had signed a 1-time-only deal (they kept charging me for months before I discovered it) AND they failed to send the products for like 3-4 months! I also once had a store sign me up (when I didnt request it) a "monthly service fee for savings" this is what I did in both cases: Keep the product then call the bank & tell them you did NOT "authorize the charges" & put a stop on it from the banks end. Tell the bank that you have contacted the parent company repeatedly about the incorrect charges. The bank may charge you a stop transaction fee or something. Call the parent company & tell them that until they allow you to return for FULL refund the product or something similar - they wont be allowed to illegally charge your account for something your not authorizing. This is illegal & happens all the time, esp in our days of scammers, hackers, acct/billing mistakes & ID theft.

Avesil Be warned.

The “free” trial is not for a 30-day period. READ THE FINE PRINT on avesil.com. I ended up getting on their automatic monthly billing for the product because I did not cancel during the trial (14 days). After reviewing the label and further consideration, I chose not to use the product.I believe that weightloss can be achieved through natural, healthy non-supplemental means. Best wishes and every success to you if you are trying to lose weight. All of the hype can be very confusing. Please don’t confuse yourself more by getting connected with Avesil.
Do NOT order Avesil. Do your research! Do what I failed to do. If you go online and search the blogs, you’ll read that far and away AVESIL is a SCAM. The product does not work and worse yet, they charge your card after you cancel and then claim to have no record of the phone call you made in which you canceled the product. It may not happen to every single person who agrees to the trial practice and agrees to give this product an honest shot, but do you want to be the 1 in 5 people charged $95 after cancellation and then refused a refund?

Avesil Refusing Refund

I had a family member use my name and my Mother's credit card to order a trial without permission. I was in Afghanistan with the Army and returned home to find around 10 packages from Avesil. I contacted them to let them know these were ordered fraudulently and they outright called me a liar and are still refusing return and refund. I have an open case with the BBB to resolve. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Very rude, and make wild accusations. They claim "All Sales Final" but this should not be the case on orders that I accepted no agreement on and had no knowledge of.

I ended my trial with them and they still charged me 90 bucks for their crappy product. I returned the bottle and "magically" it disappeared... they didnt receive it. HOW CONVENIENT! DO not use this product. It doesnt work and they are only out to steal your money. They refuse to return the money and claim to be a legitimate company. THEY ARENT they have a PO BOX in Miami. Avesil tried to stop before trial end, charged anyway

I ordered the product (diet pills) on a trial and shortly after receiving them my family doctor advised against taking them due to a prescription drug I was on.
I immediately followed the instructions on emailing them for a return code/label. I did this ten days before my trial period was up. Followed up 4 days later when I didn't get a response. Finally called them after the trial had expired and asked about the return code. They of course had no record of any emails from me, even though that was a recommended method of contacting them.
Canceled my account with them but still got charged the full 92.00 (ship and handling added). I asked to speak to a supervisor several times which the kid on the phone ignored. Finally I asked again and he said he was the supervisor. Yeah...whatever.
Be very careful having anything to do with these people. They will rip you off at the first chance. You try to cancel the product and they ignore it long enough to at least charge you the full amount.
BEWARE

I totally got scammed too... I used the product for 2 day and hated it so I cancelled online. They sent me a RMA# and I sent it back! Yesterday there is a 90.00 charge on my bank acct. I called and was told they never received their product and unless I got a tracking # from post office there was nothing they could do to help me!

Same thing happened to me! I thought I had cancelled my account through their website. When calling after being billed for the "free trial" and a surprise 2nd shipment, they told me they had no record of me cancelling on their website. Basically said if you can prove it we will give you an RMA number to return the product. As far as I know, there would be no way of cancelling the charge to your account unless you were superman. They deceive you and then blame it on you. Their customer service person was rude from the beginning. Blamed it on me saying I didn't use their website to cancel my membership because they have no record of it. As someone else said about them, "How convenient." They had every excuse as to why they could not refund me or issue an RMA number. Basically, it was all my fault for ordering their product. CONSUMER BEWARE! THEY ARE A SCAM How did it turn out for you?

I called to cancel within my trial period as well and of course all service reps were busy; so I opted to leave a voice mail. I left my reason for cancelling, phone number and no return call. They kept sending and charging. I called and talked to Andy Owens who also said he was the supervisor, of course. They conveniently didn't have a record of my phone call, of course. well I have my phone bill to verify that I did. After fighting with idiot Andy i agreed to a 40.00 credit for now and told him i would be reporting the scam. Wish me luck

Avesil Deceptive Scam

I placed my order for this product around the middle of February and got it within a couple of days. They claim that it's a 14 day free trial after they have you put you credit card information in and suposedly give you a break on shipping and handling charging you $4.99 or something. I knew I had until the end of the month to try it so I marked my calender for the February 26th to call in and cancel. I then started to take the avesil. After taking it for about 5 days I statred to feel really strange right after taking the the capsules. nausa and tightness in the chest. At first I didn't think much about it but as I continued to take it, the feelings kept getting progressively worse so I immediately stopped taking it and poured the rest down the toilet. When I called to cancel the guy on the phone did say that I was suppose to send the rest back; I told him that I didn't have any more. He never told me to send the empty container which is what he said that he told me when I discovered that the too $89.00 from my account. He tried to say that the add say that but, if it's free why are they do you have to do anything after calling to cancel. The product didn't work and I did call and cancel within the 14 day limit but, this company still took money from my account. It was never free and they should say that on the add not "14 day free trial".

I, too feel ripped off. I did not, however, have any discomfort from taking the averil...it just didn't work for me. I kept the first bottle and was charged the $4.99 plus $89.00. I called and thought that was all I needed to do. Then in a couple of weeks I received another bottle and my Discover card was billed again for $89.00. I immediately wrote on the pkg. "Return to Sender" ---Today, 3-4 weeks later, I received yet another bottle of Averil. I called them and talked to Joel this time (first go around I didn't get the person's name)He told me when you send the product back they do not receive it, that it stays at the post office--new one on me--anyway, Joel says all he can do is give me a credit on my card for $50.00. ?---My husband can take this up when he gets home...if he thinks it's even worth it...but my advise to anyone is...try something else for weight loss-----Avesil misrepresents in the product alone and the gimicky way of try it for free advertising!

Avesil 14 day trial

What a scam, the very day you order is the day your 14 day trial period starts. I ordered mine on Nov. 23, 2009, and didn't receive my shipment until Dec. 23 2009. My 14 day trial period was up on December 7th.

When I called customer service, they offered to extend the trial until
December 12th. Maybe my math is bad, but that's only 10 days.

I think they are so slow about shipping so even if you cancel they can still charge you $89.95 plus shipping.

Here is what they say in their cancellation email:

We have received your cancellation. You will no longer receive shipments of Avesil.

Please read the information below for instructions on how to complete your cancellation.

If you’d like to keep your remaining supply of Avesil, simply do nothing and enjoy the cumulative benefits of the product. You’ll be charged the low price of $89.95, there will be no additional charges and your membership will be completely cancelled.

Bet this is how they make their money.

what a scam they bill for the trail period and send second shipment before you know what is going on. Try to cancel that's a joke. Nothing on the web site states they will send you confirmation letter it states you have cancelled and keep the bottle that's it. Then you get a second bottle in the mail and this time I went on web site and cancelled also called customer service and they told me proof I cancelled no way on their system you can do that, it just tells you it's cancelled do not send pills back and then a few weeks later you get another shipment and billed 89.00 plus shipping You can not send this package back no matter what and customer service is a joke no supervisor you can talk to they are the boss they claim. Same experience! I'm livid. I hope everyone goes to the BBB-and reports them. I tried getting an RMA # from the website for the free trial. Never recieved one. Then it was long hold times to get through. By the time you do..with no RMA you can't return the product. & they won't give one to you either. Your card has been already charged. over $89.00! They come up with every excuse why you either can't get refunded or return the item. They have set it up so there is no way possible not to be charged. THEY ARE RIP OFFS! I was told that if "I would have done what I was supposed to I wouldn't have been charged." I actually went to their website a few days after I received the "free trial" to get an RMA number-I didn't receive one. Then, I tried calling and was on hold forever. Do you know their website says, "Trying to clinc your membership? Click here to use our automated system." The key word is "Trying" If youtry to use their automated system to cancel your membership, it doesn't do it. By doing it, you just think you are cancelling! Then, you receive another shipment with another charge to your credit card for now, 95.90! You call to dispute, they tell you you didn't request an RMA or cancel your membership. Asking if it is possible that their website didn't work that day? the response was "Our website always works." Would not give RMA number or refund. I had to cancel my credit card and have them issue a new one with a new number. I talked to a Supervisor who told me that the reason why they could not give me an RMA for my unused pills was because "Their system automatically generates the RMA's." So even though I didn't use or open it, I could not return it. Why then could you supposedly return the trial opened and never get billed? Its a scam! Even if you return the item with an RMA you still are billed. Billed from the beginning regardless! Whether it's opened, unopened, returned or not returned. NO REFUNDS! Their line was "you didn' call within 15 days!" no, but I used their website like it said to cancel my membership and it didn't do it! And I tried calling 3 times and was put on hold so long I gave up. The Supervisor I talked to a the end before I hung up told me I was "crazy."

I called on 3-17 to cancel further shipments which was 4 days before the trial was up. On 4-1 my credit card was billed for $89.95. So I called and said whats up it was supposed to be a free trial. I was told at the end of 30 days you get billed for the whole package of product. This is a scam for sure. That is not spelled out in their website. OHRebecca

I agree about the scam comment. I ordered my "free trial" at end of Nov 2009, received the shipment on Dec 11. Was immediately billed the 6.95 or whatever it was at end of November and then immediately billed on Dec 15 for the remaining amount. OK fine...but then, 15 days later I am billed again for 95.90 for another shipment. I haven't even been using it for 15 days.
When i called and asked if I could return their unopened package mailed to me at end of December and received January 6, they started citing "terms and conditions". Nice!
I don't even feel this product works for me, so now I am stuck with almost 2 bottles. That's money in the trash.
Don't buy Avesil...go to a local health foods store and get their recommendation. At least there is much less hassle that way...

Avesil SCAM

caution- do not fall for this autoship scam! You will have to cancel you credit card! I fell for the "Cleanwhites" scam a few months ago. i was reading the terms and conditions for Avesil and i noticed the "address" of the "company" is exactly the same as cleanwhites. 300 NE 62nd street, miami, FL 33138. they are both the same ripoff. there are not very many complaints for Avesil yet so I thought I should warn people. if you want to see how this company operates, search complaints board for "cleanwhites" "dazzlesmile" or better yet, search the internet for the owner of dozens of these internet scam/autoship companies...jesse willms. you'll find thousands of complaints.

File complaints with the Post Office. Take copies of ads from website if you can This is a federal offense. If you live in a small town I have even seen the postmaster keep any things you want to return n write the company a letter saying he had them n they could get them as soon as they sent him the postage for return! He also said if they did not refund the person's money he would personally present this to the postal inspectors and file paperwork to start an official U.S.P.O. inspection. This was against Time/Life publications. Immediate positive results followed! If they don't they may face federal charges n even prison time! If your card company does not also go after them then cancel you card n complain to the card company board of directors n show them proof of the fraud. Include dates n times of phone calls by showing your phone bill. You can get date/time/number from your phone company. THIS SITE PROPORTS TO EXPOSE SCAMS BUT DOESNT SEEM TO OFFER ANY ADVISE TO HELP YOU GET UNSCAMED! THERE FOR THEY FAIL IN MY OPINION! Also submit complaint to your Stst Attorney Generals Office n to the same in the state the company is in. As they get numerous complaints they will investigate n even prosecute!

There is a website called www.dietspotlight.com that purports to "review" diet products. But all it is, is a bogus site to shill for and promote Avesil. The site gives bad reviews to all other diet products and gives glowing reviews to Avesil with a lot of fake testimonials from readers. The site even has a link to the Avesil official website, but it's all the same website. Don't be fooled by this scam.

I ordered avesil for the introductory price of $3.95 but then decided I did not want it. I called that same day and was told that the membership had been cancelled and that I would only have to pay the $3.95 for the product I ordered and that my credit card would not be billed for any additional products. I never received the products not even the trial product that I paid for. Initially I did not pay attention to my credit card bill but it was later brought to my attention and I was charged $89.95 on one occasion and $95.90 on another occasion for a product that I never received. I called the company and was told that when a product was returned as "returned to sender" it was not the appropriate way to cancel the membership because the product went back to the post office and not to their warehouse. They were unable to tell me when and where the supposedly products were shipped to. I was also told that as of Feb 1, 2010 my membership was cancelled because the "return to sender" package made it back to the warehouse. They refused to credit my credit card account because I did not return the product the correct way. I could not make the representative understand that I could not send the product back because I never received it. It was a waste of my time trying to get the charge reversed on my credit card.

I highly caution others to beware when ordering from this company.

Do NOT fall for this "free trial" offer of this worthless product! I only tried it because I read about it on another review site where they raved about the company's risk-free trial offer but I should have known that even so-called "legitimate" review websites are for sale to any company who wants to pay. Not only was the free trial not free, the product did not work at all. I am the sucker here but I hope I can stop others from making the same mistake.

I am neutral to this site and product. I have not ordered or tried it, nor do I work for this company. Although there are many complaints towards the Customer Service Dept, none of you have said if the product works or not? I know losing weight is one of the hardest things upon an obesity country, whatever help we look for is our choice but, did you actually try the product? Did it work? Even for a day? Was there any change in your energy level? I agree with the person that said you can not "try" in two days, but if you did even for two days were you faithful? Did you have a little bit energy more than before? If you can share negativity shouldn't it be about the product? Thank you for the feedback both positive and negative. I obviously have quite a bit of research to do before I make any decisions. I hope you all have a positive 2011.

Avesil refused refund

Cancelled product subscription via online system prior to 14 day trial expiration. Customer service billed me for product and sent 2nd shipment. Conveniently, they couldn't find any record of my cancellation. They refused to accept returned product and billed me $187.80 for both shipments. Only offered a $30.00 credit but would refuse any returned product despite their claims of satisfaction guaranteed. They also refused to provide chain of command to submit any written complaints to the company.
This is a total scam. Had to contact my credit card company to refuse any additional charges.

I have had the same issue with this horrible company. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I am awaiting a response. I will get my refund if its the last thing I do. I suggest everyone report them as well. It could be a huge factor in getting them shut down.

I am going through the same thing, but what the supervisor said if she even was one. Was that if they were a scam they would be out of business. I advised her that they are not out of business because they steal from people. What a waste of time, and my money.

I had a similar experience with Avesil. When I finally got a hold of them (left over 10 messages) they claimed I had never left a message. They also informed me around the same thing, that they had no record of my phone calls. When I offered to return the original 'trial' product and the extra shipped product I no longer wanted they refused. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, the lady informed me that she was the manager. I was not able to get anywhere and the lady ended up hanging up on me and when I tried to call back, big surprise, was unable to get a hold of anyone.

Avesil Mis representation of product advertising

I ordered the trial product and paid $3.95 shipping. I rec'd the product and it was a regular size bottle with a notice that I would be charged $89.95 plus shipping if not ret'd within a certain period. After reading consumer complaints I took one person's advice and closed my credit card account before I was scammed. I did not realize what all the ingredients were in the product and my system cannot tolerate certain amounts of caffiene.
I did learn in important lesson. I will not fall for anymore scams on line.

It's a shame you had to close your credit card account, which affects your credit rating. Thank you for sharing your experience, I have learned a LOT by reading all the posts, and will not order this product.
