American Telecom Never received Pay N' Talk rebate

My husband and I purchased a cordless phone package from American Telecom. We were supposed to receive a $25 Pay N' Talk rebate. I sent the rebate information in nearly a year ago. I've e-mailed the company and get the same generic response everytime. I am told I will receive my rebate very shortly and never do. I've also called American Telecom more than once. I'm told I will receive my rebate soon and never do. I've asked to speak to the manager and the employees I talk to refuse to let me talk to him or her. There appears to be a lot of people out there who are having the same problems. Please let me know if anyone got a class action lawsuit going.

I bought an American Telecom PayN'Talk phone with $25 rebate from Fry's Electronics. We sent the rebate to the company as it told us on the 21st of January 2008, and we have not received anything for 4 months. We have sent them two e-mails asking about the rebate, and they still have not sent back the money.

My rebate status show that the submission is processing since June 2007. It has been four months. I called the American Telecom rebate center every week and nothing changes. I searched the web and found out many people have the same problem. The rebate center employee finally admitted that the reason why they cannot pay the consumers' rebate because American TeleCom does not pay the rebate center.

This company should be held accountable for all the people they have taken advantage of by not paying the rebate as promised.

This company never paid rebate. I think the Government needs to ban all rebates. If the companies would lower their price instead of offering rebates, we would maybe buy things more often. I think all rebates are just a way to steel.

Cheat customer, fake ads, never get rebate for the products they advertised. This company should get punished for their bad business behavior.

Read the "Rebate Form" The expiration date is "2008" so good luck. However, got mine @ "Rite Aid", so hold them responsible also...but did get %20 off, using their store card!Still, I intend to argue w/ the Manager.
Any communication complaints go to FCC...I did that w/ my TV service and they responded immediately AND, yes, got my money back.

Hi, I'm Mary the new head of C/S here at American Telecom Service and I'd like to reply to your complaint.

Fry's has reported to ATS that they have been paying ATS rebates at store level since the middle of last year. You may want to contact the store where you purchased the product to see what their criteria is for your rebate. Going to the store is your best course for immediate action.

I never received my rebate either ! Bought from FRY's Electronics; should have probably taken it up with the store, but I'm sure it's too late now. I followed instructions on activating the long distance account, and sent all paperwork on time. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

I mailed my $20 rebate (Pay N' Talk UA20224B) one year ago but never got it. I called them and they said I would receive it soon but I didn't.

Now they don't even answer the rebate 888 number, what a shame! Pay N' Talk's rebate is a pure lie.

American Telecom PayN'Talk rebate

I submitted the requirements for a $15 PayN'Talk rebate (H811559) last November and to date have not received it. When I called the phone number on the rebate form I was referred to a website. When I checked the web site I was referred to the phone number. I emailed twice with no response. Now the phone number gives a constant busy signal and the website no longer exists.

American Telecom rebates

I sent the rebate form and did what ever the rules that was written to file for the rebate, then I got the letter from them stating that without upc bar they can not process the rebate. I look for the box and sent them the upc plus the cards that they mailed last August and until now I haven't got any cents out from the rebate that they are suppose to give, and that was suppose to be $30.00 multiply by 2 total of $ 60.00. October is almost ending and I haven't heard from them and the phone # is out of reach and keep saying go to their website.

I'm a victim of american telecom rebate too..and i even refaxed everything to rebatestatus.com...duh! all i had to do was look online and i found answers! hope they will find these people...hope they change their name too..scamerican telecom

American Telecom Rebate scam

Do not buy products from American Telecom. The rebates that are offered are fake. I bought the 4 cordless set with rebates of $50 & $20. The $20 rebate never made it to them. The $50 one did make it but after few weeks I received the non-compliance letter saying postmark date was after the offer date. Their online system did indicate that they received it before the expiry date. When I called them they accepted that they did receive it on-time & I was told to callback in 2 weeks to check back if the cheque has been issued. I have so far called them 3 times at an interval of 2 weeks & every time I get the same answer. Today when I called, now it goes directly to automated voice message system & phone gets disconnected. I have re-submitted the $20 rebate. Hoping that at least it will be received by them.

There seems to be a major issue/scam going on with this company. I am planning to report them if I do not get my money back soon.

Do not buy a product from this ATS. I bought a two phone set from the Frys two years ago for "free" after $25 rebate. I only got one email from ATS saying they are processing my rebate. Nothing since then.

Right now, only base working. Everything else was broken along past year.

Dont give up on this rebate I have been trying since Sept of this year, experienced most of the complaints reported.Started calling corporate HQ and selling store , Office Depot.Finally contacted one Adam.Somer@atsphone.com.He is listed as Co President whatever that is, any how he returned my correspondence and within 10 days my $60 rebate was received.

Experienced the same runaround as reported, 60 dollars involved. The phone was not a quality device and not even used. It was purchased at Office Depot.

Am now contacting all persons and agencies that may be able to assist in obtaining the rebates.

My complaint is against American Telecom. That the customer service agent listed being in City of Industry, CA,90601 as the city and state. This company offered 4 phones ( land lines) with one base set that records voice mail. You can purchase long distance minutes that are added to the phone and use by using the green LDS menu button. Calls are often lost...
