Allied Waste Trash Bin

I was not late on my trash bill with allied waist, my trash can just disappeared at 1st I thought it was stolen … big blue container with allied on it, I thought something was fishy when I called and they too told me I would have to call in a police report and pay a $50.00 fee for the container and a $25.00 ($75.00 total) fee to have someone deliver it… I went to my neighbors and asked if they had seen what happened to my trash bin… They informed me that they had seen an Allied waist pickup truck that had come by and picked up my trash can. Now I have been 3 weeks without trash pickup my bill IS PAYED IN FULL … I refuse to pay any additional fee’s to Allied for a waist can that should still be in my yard… They informed me that without a driver showing proof that he picked up my trash bin it would be hard for them to replace it… I informed the lady on the phone that she was mistaken and MISTAKES DO HAPPEN!... and I would appreciate the return of my canister… I wanted to know why if I pay rental on a trash can money isn’t set aside for replacement insurance, wouldn’t that correct this “IF IT WERE STOLEN!” she said that is not part of their policy. ? Confused like me? Now I wait in LIMBO for my so called stolen trash can. Stolen and witnessed of allied driving away with it … In my book this is called FRAUD!

Charged us for emptying additional cans that don't exist. We canceled our service with them as we will not pay for fees we do not authorize. Too bad they have a monopoly on trash pickup and dumping at the local dump. Not sure where we are going to dump or trash. Anyone else have trouble in Woodburn?

Allied Waste Negligent service

In April we contracted with Allied Waste for a dumpster to clean out unwanted things before we moved. We received a phone call after our first dump informing us that they had caused some damage to our driveway. The driveway was completely collapsed by an overloaded truck. We were told they would fix it but after a few days of them not fixing it, we said we would fix it if they bought the materials. They bought 10 bags of cement and had us sign a release and said that the release removed them and us from further liability. Now they are saying that it says that they are no longer responsible for this issue. I'm not asking them to come back and put in a new driveway. I'm not even asking for my deposit back. I am asking that my account be credited for what they are charging AFTER my deposit. They are now charging us $200, after they have already taken our $200 deposit and refuse to credit us this for our troubles, among other things. We are already $1100 out of pocket for our $200 deposit, missing 2 days of work to fix the driveway, losing our rental deposit due to the damage and having to buy more then they provided. They refuse to credit our account that they say is still owing of $200.00. To us, the release that was signed released us from further obligations for charges. They refuse to work with us and are very rude any time we talk to them. I had originally asked for my deposit back, but I'm willing to forfeit that just to get an apology and my account credited out. Instead I'm threatened with collections after they have caused these problems with their negligence. I have never dealt with a company that is like this and urge people to think twice before going through this company.
