Allied Universal / Aus.com No vacation pay

Good afternoon I worked 18 years w no holiday pay or anything elseith universal allied in staten island ferry transportation had no problems with anything then related to sacamento california lost all my benefits plus no holiday pay most of all this year had surgery when it was time for my anniversary to come I got no 40 hours of pay called management receive no response. Called hr thy said there working on it very poor communication with the officers and management

Allied Universal / Aus.com Employee maltreatment

I am currently a security officer with Allied Universal based at McDonough Ga and Im under the supervisor Ms Jackie. And although I understand that we all have a job to do so does she and she shows favoritism towards certain employees. Example todat 11/15/2023 an employees by the the name of Jared was working the middle in which he is to answer phones and pass out bills non of that was being done and instead of her calling him to round she contacted myself and another employee via text to request a patrol and threatened with a write up. 11/14/23 the employees were racing on the carts and I whole heartedly feel this is an injustice to the work environment

Allied Universal / Aus.com Complaint regarding a site supervisor.

I would like to make a complaint regarding one of the Allied Universal Guards here at Northrop Grumman in Iuka MS, The guards name is Mitchell Barnett,

She's refuses to conduct her job and follow the site policies provide by Northrop Grumman, she talks badly about Northrop Grumman employees and her fellow Allied Universal guards,

She's been caught stealing food and drinks from the snack rooms on site,

Falsifying documents provided by Northrop Grumman to log the patrols and fire watches that the security guards are to conduct while on site,

She has already had multiple complaints placed on her by other employees at Northrop Grumman and Allied but nothing has changed.

She has openly stated she doesn't like her fellow allied universal employees and targeting one of them stating she hoped he gets fired, and public arguing with another Allied Universal guard in the parking lot.

Desired outcome: Removed from site/rank and correction of her attitude.

This is why hate work with people who think they are gods being a high position for a reason they come up with any false complaints to the company and the security pay the consequences. There is not professionalism in this days. allied open you eyes and talk to your employees.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Overnight shift for 10 hrs and no restroom around 30 min lunch

How in the world does the dispatcher sends out an employee to work overnight 10 shift and no restroom available. All stores are closed by midnight.

your shift is from 10p to 8am there's no place to buy something to eat because everything is closed. you only get 30 minute lunch break on a 10 hours shift.

This is not right how the dispatcher take advantage of new foreigner employees.

Part time job suppose to be 35 hours or less not 40 hours. Please investigate this or we will write to the government.

Desired outcome: straighten out the dispatcher that don't know what they are doing.

On August 24th, 2023 i was drop off at the Venice Train Depot 303 E Venice Ave Train Depot around 8:20 pm. Christopher Thomas was at the Train Depot and move me and my family belonging. then started running his nasty [censored] racist lying disgusting mouth. he call the cops on me and my family and lied to the police i threaten him. That was a lie from his studipty mouth. he deserves to be fired. He was also rude and disrespectful and he threaten me and my family, he was going to punch us in the face. I told the cops when they came out. I want an apology from Christpher Thomas as well as from his supervisor. then im going to slap a lawsuit on this company for good.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Removal from an account based on speculation/Hearsay

I was removed from the MLY account.. Malibu Lumber Yard. I was the primary swing guard, our primary graveyard guard was retiring and moving out of country. I asked my Operations Manager if I could have the graveyard shift. I was approved. So instead of sending a guard to be trained on my swing shift since am now graveyard the shift remained open. So I worked the open swing shift and my graveyard shift for 6 straight day's. The graveyard guard also had the extra 6 day which is another reason why I wanted the shift. I brought an air mattress from home only for BEFORE my shift began and After my shift ended. My engine blew so I was on public transportation to make it into and depart work I would always arrive 2 hours early and after my shift concluded I would depart on the 1st bus in the morning which was 2 hrs after me clocking out from a 16 hr shift. A guard snapped a picture of me with my head down sitting in the middle of the parking lot on my second portion of the shift it looks as though I'm sleeping but I wasn't this allegation was used to replace me on the graveyard shift Plus another guard snapped a picture of my air mattress in the spare room and sent it to the operations manager even though I wasn't sleeping on it he sent the picture anyway these two allegations had me removed from the post when I'm the one who covered Ally for not having a guard on the post. Their slip up cost me the post entirely the operations manager called me into the office for a new post which is $4.50 less than what I was making stating that the post was too far to come by public transportation he would give me something closer to home. When I train the new graveyard guard because that's how Allied operates they always send someone out for you to train and then your relief from the post the guard told me he knew for over a week that he was coming out to the post which places the time around my 3rd double shift I was doing because they failed to send a guard for me to train on the open swing shift. I was set up from the beginning. I haven't worked in a week behind this so called punishment. My name was on the roster for CNN on the 18th starting date of August it was removed but my name still remains on the Malibu lumber yard roster. This isn't my first rodeo with allied over being removed from a post and treated as such.

Desired outcome: I want my post back but after the embarrassment and humiliation the office has put me through I have no choice but to take this CNN post their for info on me. The bills have to be paid. I'm still going to talk to my VA attorney though

Allied Universal / Aus.com My pay

My name is Elvis Holloway 693243. I have been with the Allied Universal Security Service for twenty-one years at the same site East Shore Community Association, Inc #WE571099 and I never had a problem with my pay until June 22, 2023. My pay was shorting by $155.23 cents, my pay is $550.18 cents every week unless I work on a holiday. On June 22, 2023, my pay was $345.95 cents which made my pay $155.93 cents short. I have reach out to my Client Manager Delia Dickerson and Operation Manager Fredrick Williams trying to get this issue resolve but no result. I clock in and out on June 14,2023 the 12 hours I work from 6:00am to 6:00pm and I can prove that I work those 12 hours. I just want what I'm owed. Please help me resolve this issue.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Refusal of pto

I’m a former Allied Universal employee and i’m being refused my PTO (56) hrs i’ve been fighting for the release of my funds for the last 4-5 months i’ve filed every complaint there is i’m also in communication with my union president and my union representative. I received an email from HR Allied informing me that my pto was approved by all concerning parties including the the vice president of Allied (John Johnson) on june 10th I received an email from Isabella from allied HR explaining too me that my pto was approved and for me to retrieve my payment from the office yet nothing.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Not being paid correctly

I worked 52 hours starting on May 20, 2023. The pay for that week was shorted of 10 hours overtime. The next week starting on May 26, 2023, I again worked 52 hours. I did not get paid for May 26 and no overtime pay at all. I am owed 24 hours of overtime. When I call the woman in the local office, her phone goes straight to voicemail. She does not call back

Desired outcome: I want my overtime pay.

I was recently, terminated from Allied Universal for not wearing a safety vest while working 3rd shift at Amazon/SDF9 Offsite in Shepherdsville, KY which Amazon Loss Prevention never said anything to me plus accused of creating fraudulent documents..

Allied Universal / Aus.com Unsafe work environment

We at the John Muir Hospital Walnut Creek entire hospital has a toxic work environment, no employee coverage, unsafe not having Helius available for all post. With summer time coming this is a level 1 trauma center for whom needs to have direct communication for all post with helius not a blue phone that has no service when walking to any parking lot. As of 5/15/2023 we now have to issue parking warning for stupid things like when your picking up a loved one, get out of your car to go inside to get them to have a parking warning on your vehicle, having the parking structure not covered by cameras at every angle only the entrance to each level but out of site on every level this is unsafe! The only outside post is labor & delivery this is unsafe, unsanitary, climate elements at 115 degrees or 10 degrees, approach by people who are combated when west side floor requires badging to the elevator floor, vendors the post needs to have a security booth so people cannot just walk up on you as you are placed behind the vending machines! Or vendors are assigned access badge with having no way of knowing who they really are to be assisting in or! Have reached out multiple times to have the or schedule posted on Microsoft Team so that it is digital and tracked, instead we have the Vendors provide their CAR KEYS sign a ridiculous form that means NOTHING!

Give camera access back to each post that has the ability to watch cameras since we don't have dispatch trying to watch 100 cameras all watch everything! This was taken away since upper management found it threatening to themselves as guards can view access on the basement floor but not in the actual office! Stop trying to sneak up on guards if you have nothing to hide as management lack of supervision has!

Desired outcome: SEE ABOVE STATEMENT: WORK SITE ENVIRONMENT REQURIES COMPLETE OVERHAUL FROM START TO FINISH!

Allied Universal / Aus.com Allied Universal branch in Oakland

I called Allied Universal May 11, 2023 about my anniversary bonus check that I should have received May 11, 2023. I am so sick of the 3 women that works at Oakland branch. Karen, Taylor, and Rashawn. I called today 9:03am very rude nasty attitude. No help I called Nicole who supposed to help me with the situation. I have been calling since yesterday no call back from Nicole (human resources). I work for this company & I am feed up with how I am being treated & no help. Every week there are pay issue that I am not being paid correctly & my sick time is not available nor correct. I am going to take further action on my own this company doesn’t care only needs people body’s to work & that’s it…

Desired outcome: I desire each day that I don’t receive my anniversary bonus . I be compensated for it.

Today 05/11/23 I was supposed to get my Anniversary bonus. I let my Manager know she advised me she has no control over Bonus checks to call the Branch in Oakland on hegenberger Road 333. I called the Branch Office Allied universal . The Branch is always rude they never want to do their job . Karen referred me to talk to my supervisor. I am the supervisor you meet my manager my manager told me to call the branch, so what does the branch do they always referring me to somebody like what do they do there cause I don’t see them doing nothing but sitting on a butt. I called Nicole (Human Resources) at 8:35am today no response back it 9:31am still no call back.

Today is my Anniversary bonus and I want my money today as soon as possible today I was supposed to get paid my check was supposed to be on there. I thought I started at Southland Mall in May today is my anniversary and my money is not on my check. No help from Allied Universal…

Allied Universal / Aus.com Management / wrongful discharge

On March 19,2023 I was wrongfully discharged. I had been with the company exactly 11 months and was fired. My vehicle had a recall on it, and I was having complications with transportation, however I was dedicated to getting to work by using Lyft. My Lyft came earlier than my shift was over I texted my manager that I was leaving so I wouldn't be charged a $5 fee for cancellation. (I did not have a relief because my shift does not require a relief there was 2 employees already working in the office with me). I was fired that following Monday March 19th, 2023. I was told misconduct, but I am and was always doing my job with overtime and show sportsmanship. I did not deserve this. Since I made a complaint to HR about my manager telling staff I was in the hospital (HIPPA violation), I was since then being antagonized and harassed.

Desired outcome: I would like a full investigation of the department management staff and my job back. I'm not the person to show misconduct to any job because I know the importance of a job.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Louis Lopez account manager

To whom these few lines may concern

I am reaching out in regards to many things that I have seen and experienced working for Allied Universal Security with Louis Lopez as the account manager. Having an leader sets the example for what employees should see within a site, his leadership reflects in a negative way the moral, high turnover rates, employees who are discriminated, relation with staff, the way he speaks to his employees, rules and write ups for certain workers and or situations, the list goes on, just overall not a good leader.

Writing this letter I wanted to bring to light the major issues that are going on at the County City Building. Having Louis Lopez as the account manager he stays with his office door closed at all times with his assistant always present (extremely close by at all hours of the day on and off the site). It is known throughout the County City Building that they are having relations. For an account manager I truly believe in an open door policy which Louis speaks of but does not do.

I have worked for Allied about six months and I have seen a total of four mobile supervisors come and go. The first mobile supervisor when I arrived her name was Cathy she was very sweet but after a few week working under Louis Lopez and his dictatorship she basically checked into a mental institution and resigned as mobile supervisor. Cathy has known Louis before this site I believe they had relation at one point in time. The second mobile supervisor that arrive did not last three week even though he was hired back in December but did not start until after mid January. Louis talks about hiring from within once Cathy left he had open interviews for employees who where interested which was a host to cover his self when he already had a person hired for the position back in December. Josh the second mobile supervisor did not pass CJIS which is why he did not stay as mobile supervisor. After Louis did what he did with the other employees trying to be a mobile supervisor no other mobile employees wanted to apply to be a supervisor anymore. The third mobile supervisor (again which was not hired within) only lasted four days and did not return as a mobile supervisor. Finally Louis hired from within and now the fourth mobile supervisor is Georgia she just started April 1st so this is a work in progress again to cover his self and he asked her to apply for the position as well.

Uniforms are very vital as security operators and guards. Louis always dresses and appears as if it is dress down Friday everyday, he does not dress as an account manager but is extremely quick to have his supervisors write up employees for dress code when he does not lead by example. As an account manager he does not go to other sites and check in with the sites or employees he is always delegating someone else to do his job, then gets extremely irate when he is not in the knowing as to what is going on because he does not want to be in trouble by Tom which is his boss. He states that you can contact him anytime but never answer his phone when employees do call with an issue. When employees do get in contact with him finally the situation is almost at the highest degree then he becomes extremely irate and frustrated with the messenger when all he has to do is answer his phone as an account manager. Having Louis as an account manager you would expect him to have the common knowledge and experience to assist at any site but he does not have the common knowledge for many sites especially SOC (security operation center).

As an employee you should not feel any forms of favoritism or racial discrimination, but this is what is felt with Louis Lopez as account manager. Louis tend to favor employees of the Hispanic/Latino/Mexican descent by letting them do, act, and say what they are or not going to do without any repercussions. Now let someone who is Caucasian, African American, or Pacific Islander act or speak in the manor they will be written up or fired quickly which is completely unfair, and in many ways make it hard to work for someone who at the end of the day will never have your back nor understand you due to your nationality, and its felt strongly at the County City Building.

Being employed for Allied you must be eighteen years of age which is considered grown correct? Why when Louis has an issue with and employee he seems to forget that everyone is grown and speaking to employees in an overly aggressive way which is unprofessional and makes it easier for an employee to retaliate in the form of protecting themselves due the way he spoke to you as if you were his child. Speaking to employees in the manor in which you have to elevate your voice as a form of putting fear in them makes it an hostile work environment, which leads to an extreme amount of turnovers with employees because, employees cannot act in the same manor in which Louis just came at an employee. That employee would be fired for standing his or her ground. Which in all honesty just letting your employer Louis know you can speak to me in a more polite professional way and still get your point across at the end of the day everyone is grown by age.

Write ups are part of the job which is understood anywhere. For the first time in all my years of employments I have noticed that working under Louis Lopez write ups only happen when he is ready to issue them which is extremely crazy to me. There is definitely favoritism for certain employees and situations pertaining to write ups. It is understandable that everyone has a life outside of work so situations due play a part in employees abusing the system while others who do not misuse or abuse the system and get the worst treatment and or write ups, which again makes it a hostile work environment.

Working under Louis Lopez dictatorship has his best employee looking for new employment or dreading everyday having to deal with an account manager who constantly delegates others to do what he is suppose to do on top of the additional work load that is within their job description. All around the courthouse Allied employees are frustrated, confused, over worked, and tired of the constant changes that transpire everyday due to his unorganized leadership that is also a dictatorship. This is why there is such a high turnover rate and locations (under Louis account sites) that goes dark due to lack of good employees that Louis tends to push out the good employees and keeping the not so good employees and many wonders why the Pierce County Courthouse Allied employees are always in a mental, physical, and emotional rut at work.

This hostile work environment can change if only one person leave. I believe the moral will go up and the turnover rate will definitely dimmish drastically if Allied conducts a full investigation on Louis Lopez leadership as account manager. I pray that this letter reaches someone in HR who actually listens to what we as employees are saying and seeing what our lead/account manager is doing. Thanks for your time.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Not updating my employment status with 32bj

I resigned from AUS after 15-year uninterrupted service with effect from 04/07/2023

AUS immediately deactivated my Health insurance and life insurance for which I have no complaint.

But when I tried to withdraw my 401K fund, I faced a problem

John Hankook the fund manager says our union must inform them my service is INACTIVE

When I contacted 32BJ union they say as their record I am still on medical leave. and they must be informed about my resignation.

When I contacted Ms Janee my HRM she says she has nothing to do with this but it a matter between Union and John Hancook and she refuses to inform my resignation to out Union!

I am unable to get my refund when I am a sick and have no income. It is almoat 3 weeks since I retired!

I think this has to be done by My HRM

I don't know why she refuses,

Please advise me what to do to get me y refund please

this Is a harassment to a AUS worker who had an unblemished record of 15 years' service. I am disappointed,

I was hired at Allied Universal on 12-22-2022. They had me assigned to Cox Communication Parma. When I was hired they gave me a rate of pay of $15.00 an hour with the stipulation that the pay would increase in February or March the latest. This never came. Even after conversations with my supervisor (Pete Lucic). Also Cox Communication changed the hours to be open on Saturdays from 10am until 6pm. I notified my supervisor who asked if I wanted to work overtime on Saturdays. I stated I would for a while. Since then I have not gotten my overtime in my check and had to complain weekly to get paid. I have since found out that all the previous guards here quit after being promised a raise in pay. I am currently contacting the previous guards to get a statement to submit to the NERB if I can't get any resolution. Please advise

Desired outcome: Pay raise that I was promised and overtime pay on time.

Allied Universal / Aus.com Branch office Nashville TN

I work security out of the Nashville tn office We have been trying to get a person to be the head supervisor over us at a post in Manchester tn as a captain or major so we can get the rest of our uniforms we only have 1 pair we were issued and we have no help from the Nashville branch We have no main person in charge everyone is all confused and always changing stuff and not abiding by the post orders wearing what ever they want and we can't never get anyone to contact us back from the Nashville office to help us out I have worked with allied Universal for several years and this is the first first branch office I have seen this so screwed up it needs a house cleaning and people put in it that knows what they are doing

Desired outcome: We need someone that can order uniforms and the Nashville office needs a house cleaning and personal that knows what they are doing

Allied Universal / Aus.com Unprofessionalism and retaliation

I work at Allied Universal for their Amazon corporate site. I requested a site transfer with the site Manager Lawrence Barreras due to lack of professionalism with my site supervisor Lacrisha Davis. He then in retaliation cut my hours from full time to floater on whatever days with whatever hours. I've had a set FULL-TIME schedule for over four months. My school life and home life is set up around that schedule .There are multiple other officers(David Thompson, Raynell Newman) who have requested transfers and also put in their two weeks notice and their hours remained the same which furthermore proves my hours were stripped in retaliation. They are playing with my livelihood in hopes that I quit before I'm ever transferred to a new site. They're saying they need to fill my shifts, yet have not removed me from the site meaning I'm still available for my shifts. All of this is being done with mal intent to ignore that they have a Supervisor (Davis) who talks to the employees like dogs and constantly threatens the employees on false policies. There has been multiple complaints and nothing done.

Desired outcome: I would like my FT shift reinstated until there is a site transfer finalized for me because until then I still have to work here and make my money for my household and them cutting my hours in retaliation alone is enough for a lawsuit.
